"So...do you feel like talking to me yet?" (from Nabs! maybe post Cell saga? also welcome back frand! It's good to see you on the dash again!)

Everything kept replaying in his head. Nothing made sense anymore. All that time he spent training, chasing that pursuit of power to further himself beyond Kakarot, had all but proven fruitless. He'd sacrifice everything and for what? To prove that he couldn't keep up with a third class who kept widening the gap? That his mere child could prove better than he was. It was humiliating. He'd stare blankly at the ship before him, leaning against a tree, he wasn't sure how long he'd been out here lost in his thoughts but a familiar voice had pulled him out of them. He didn't turn to face her, didn't react beyond the slightest tensing of his jaw. It was clear he had heard her, but that was all.

"No" he finally muttered, voice low and hollow. "What is there to talk about? Kakarot's gone, and nothing I did mattered. What am I supposed to say? That I failed again? That it was all for nothing?" He shook his head bitterly. "I don't want to talk"

His words were sharp, but there was an unmistakebale heaviness in them. His pride was shattered, and with his rival gone, so was his drive. There was nothing left for him to fight for, and that terrified him more than he would ever admit.
