Beautiful minds inspire others... pertama baca buku nya awal tahun 2014 lalu, dari situ banyak sekali merubah pemikiran buat lebih sadar kalo semua orang itu pada dasarnya kreatif, hanya saja kita sering lupa bagai mana caranya kembali lagi menjadi kreatif. #About Love is collection of Tere Liye’s quotes (100 quotes) which already published in his facebook page and some of his novels. It contains humorous and ‘straight to the point’ advice about love. About falling in love, broken heart, and definitions of true love based on his opinion. It’s illustrated with retro-typography style. It tells the readers to find love in righteous and honorable way.

Some of the readers are disappointed because there’s no improvisation with the quote. It’s all the same as what the readers have read. There’s no new quote, although just one. And also, there’s a mispelled word.

#88 Love Life is collection of Diana Rikasari’s quotes (88 quotes) about her way of thinking about love and life. At some parts, she told the readers about her funny love story with her husband (who’s Indian) when they were colleger at Malaysia. Diana as fashion blogger told the readers to be honest to ourselves, to always be happy and cheerful just as the colors of her choice on fashion, and to be grateful no matter what happens in our life.

This book continues to be ranked first on the bookshelves of the favorites in a few months after the publication. On the last page, it provides some cute stickers as bonus.

99 MUTIARA HIJABERS is collection of Kang Maman’s quotes (99 quotes) about woman. It also includes some verses from Quran and hadith. He gave the readers (especially woman) advice to be precious as mutiara (pearl) with pride, honor, and intellegence based on what Islam has told. It’s illustrated with vintage-typography style. It also tells about seeking true love with marriage, the importance of worshipping, and respect woman in any way.

There’re some mispelled words and untidy part of the typography. But over all, this book is written nicely from the perspective of man.

Those three books are best choices for the readers who need self motivation about love, life, and other else in religious aspect. Of couse, the readers will not get bored by tons of alphabets and words because the illustrations are nicely done. I highly recommend you to buy all of them!

flashback friday: hair color edition

One of my many impulsive decisions was to bleach and dye my hair in various colors. I wanted to go through all the colors of the rainbow but due to my inherent laziness and lack of beautician skills, I only managed to do four out of seven. Regardless of the weird stares and the countless of questions I got from family and strangers, I really loved having colored hair. If only the upkeep wasn’t as tiring as it was, I might’ve bleached my roots again.

I guess calling it “impulsive” isn’t really right because I had time to schedule an appointment for it and such. But I guess it’s impulsive in a sense that I didn’t let my mom know about it until after. She freaked out so much and besides the fact that I got to rock colored hair, her mini-freak out sesh made everything worth it.

As of the moment, my hair is cut really short. But #noregrets, yup, no regrets at all.
