Yakko + Lucky

× Smart mouthed as hell, can and will bite back with a one liner to anybody

× Both have more dirty humour than the others, e.g Yakko's 'GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!' lines and some parts in Lucky's rap

× Both leaders of their own groups, and yeah Yakko's more of a 'oldest so he's in charge' variant, but he's still in charge of Wakko and Dot, and Lucky's very clearly the leader of the Joy Joy Gang

× They're usually the more rational humour/senses than the other two, if that makes sense?? Like, Yakko doesn't go - at least not all the time - completely off the rails like Wakko and Dot, and Lucky seems to be the more consistent in terms of how he acts / not going off into tangents e.g Hangry going off about food + Penny going off about her looks + 'squishy'

Wakko + Hangry

× One of their most defining traits is their appetite, like, fr. Hangry's whole shtick is mortal ribs and Wakko goes for anything

× ALSO, on the same vein as that - their appetites aren't really what you'd expect, like Hangry and ribs and Wakko with anything

× They just seem to be one of the most chill members. Like, yeah, Wakko's most likely more energy than Hangry, but I don't see Wakko constantly off the walls sooooo

× Usually seen as second in command to the leaders, e.g Hangry with Lucky (he refers to Lucky more than Penny does in the raps) and Wakko with Yakko (direct brothers)

Dot + Penny

× They're both almost entirely obsessed with how they look, Dot with her 'cute' thing and Penny's brief meltdown before Zone 3

× They both can get violent when it's needed / they aren't entirely sunshine lollipops and harmless, y'know? I'm fairly sure Penny's fine with harming others when needed and Dot's completely okay with dishing out a mallet when required

× They're kinda the one off personality of the group? Like, Penny's the only one who seems bothered about the mortals in a positive way - unless Hangry's appetite is seen as positive - and Yakko and Wakko don't seem to care about their appearances nearly as much as Dot

× They're both the standard girl trope of their respective groups, but like, they're not the complete stereotype, y'know?

Bonus ones that all of them fall under

× They're exact origins/physiology is a mystery (kinda), It's a running joke that no one knows what the Warners are and it's stated in the E note that the Joy Joy Gang have souls but that they apparently aren't human origin

× Obsessed with a specific person - The Warners with anyone they consider a special friend (i can't remember if that's exactly what they call them) or whoever they find in an episode, and the Joy Joy Gang with working for Malak, and mortals/people who aren't joyful

× Completely Random Living Area - The Warners live in the Water Tower and the gang probably live in either the castle or theme park. Like, pls

× Absolute Menaces To The Person They Choose To Mess With - mostly anyone the Warners encounter and Doug Houser. Need I say more

I have MASSIVE joy joy gang brainrot so. expect me to make other posts rambling about working them into other situations that would never happen in canon e.g a fnaf sb crossover I've had in my head for a bit now
