In Moscow, police detained two journalists: Ekaterina Anikievich from SOTAvision and Konstantin Zharov from RusNews. At the same time, Zharov was beaten and threatened with sexualized violence. An eyewitness to what was happening, Natalya Savoskina, reported this to OVD-Info.
After the arrest, the journalists were taken to the Meshchansky police station. For what reason they were detained and what they are going to charge is unknown.
The arrest took place near the home of another SOTAvision journalist, Antonina Favorskaya, whose apartment is currently being searched for an unknown reason.
