i was shopping for sewing patterns today and i kept getting really mad because the sizing is so ridiculously tiny >:c
#the standard pattern '32W' is really a size 24 and it doesn't go past that#and most of the patterns only go up to what they call a size 20 (more like a 16/18)#i get some of the size 20s anyway because i only have to alter the bust#or the bust and waist if it's a misses pattern#but what kind of bullshit????#fat ppl have such limited access to cute off-the-rack clothes and then#even more limited resources to make their own clothes#unless ur rly advanced and don't need a pattern or ur making something simple#BUT IT PISSES ME OFF#it's frustrating just for me to find things and im a small fat and shrinking#but i'm super pissed on the behalf of folks bigger than me :/#lekala is a lifesaver tho i haven't used it yet but. shoutout#personal
