‘Balade en Méditerranée’- JUNE 8TH 2020

Today Chanel and Virginie Viard showcased Chanel's 20/21 Cruise collection online. The collection was going to be shown in Capri, Italy. However, due to the global pandemic, it was transformed into a digital show, making it Chanel's first virtual show. The collection includes 51 total looks with bright matching sets as well as various denim and summer looks. Here are some of my favourite looks photographed by Karim Sadli. The collection will be available in stores in November 2020

Part of "Sina Gamila" collection from the fashion show that happened in the German Ambassador in Egypt's residence in Cairo, in 2010. The same collection was showed as part of Melez Festival in Bochum, Germany later the same year. . The collection's inspiration was the majestic Egyptian peninsula "Sinai". The holy land with its special colors and embroidery techniques and motifs. Using only Cotton fabrics and embroidery threads to excute all the designs. . The corsages were hand emboideried and beaded by the hands of Sinai women in Sinai, and also the drawings on the bottoms were hand painted individually with the unique motifs and colors inspired from Sinai. . Через призму произведения Ивана Гончарова дизайнеры порассуждали на тему человека будущего. В #дефиле примут участие известные мужчины города. ⠀ Изначально обсуждалось, что показ будет проходить в оперном театре. Но от идеи решили отказаться, так как не совпали по графику. В итоге модели пройдутся среди картин в галерее современного искусства в «Синара-центре». ⠀ Для этого показа изначально выбирали знаковое место в городе. Галерея прекрасно дополняет образы. В мировой практике распространено сочетание моды и искусства, а Екатеринбург город-завод этим не так избалован. ⠀ В коллекции совместили разные культуры, национальности, традиции, фактуры и стили. Образы романа отразились и в одежде, говорят, будут даже халаты. ⠀ В качестве моделей выступят заметные #персоны города — это художники, спортсмены, шеф-повара, архитекторы, телеведущие. Их имена пока не раскрывают. Они продефилируют под музыку Моцарта и рэп. Это закрытое мероприятие только для клиентов Варламовой и Баранова. 📅Оно пройдет 19 октября. Гостей ждут к 18:00.
