The details delight me beyond words and the final days I spend with a custom garment are bittersweet. I really love making artful and expressive clothing for thoughtful and intentional humans like #DecoDayDreamDress for Elizabeth C. The only bitter in the sweetness is that the project is coming to an end. This Custom Maternity Wedding Dress was a textural frock made of magic and so many special components. I also made fingerless gloves and a hat for the ensemble and the repeating fabrics and notions and shapes aligned meticulously with the bride’s vision and theme. Working on custom creations like this takes a lot of planning and precision and is the most fun thing I get to do as a Designer!
