Okay first thing first, I’m doing this one with my Hufflepuff MC Pearlie.

Because Pearlie's parents passed away when she was a little child, she was aware of the importance of life and death. She was prepared to journey into life's beauty and realities. I also think the song represented her perspective with the death itself and she was ready whenever it might be come.

I believe Pearlie, with her shyness and quiet temperament, could be someone completely different under certain circumstances. She had a reputation for being sassy and "crazy" at times.

Despite her shy demeanor, if she had to speak up and act for whatever cause, she would not hesitate and would move quickly. She had her own free will and mottos, as well as her own opinions and thoughts. Nobody could stop her from expressing herself. These 2 songs could well represent her motive.

From a drabble I’ve written for my Murder Mystery Story: Despite the situation, she chuckled softly, a note of uncertainty behind it though.

‘I swear I saw them,’ I said, affecting a slight waver to my voice. How easily swayed people were by reflections of their own emotions.

Her grip tightened ever so slightly. ‘And if we do find them?’

I gulped, far more obviously than was strictly necessary, earning her full attention. Her eyes shone.

From a drabble I’ve written for my Stranger Things story Music and Lyrics: ‘I can’t lose her again, Steve,’ she admitted, attention slipping to Eddie who was sat asleep nearby to Belle. He’d shifted slightly, but not enough to wake either of them. ‘I just can’t.’

‘You’re not going to,’ Steve said, giving her should a squeeze. ‘I never said this, but she’s tough.’

‘She is,’ Robin agreed, feeling a proud smile tug at her lips. Belle might not yet have had the chance to tell her everything, but Robin knew she’d been through so much already.

22) in what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?

does arriving at hogwarts count? he did start in third year and had to catch up while being overwhelmed with all the lingering magic that messed with his sight but also his mom's death. he watched her fall to her death, and then when help claimed and no one could find the pit milo claimed she fell in, they dismissed it all as an accident. though this all milo was calm, never overly emotional (though maybe that's just the shock that's keeping him calm, but also, he never gets really emotional afterwards. I don't thing he ever really processes her death oof)

31) does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

he feels he deserves it, straight up. like you're not as outgoingly extravagant as milo is without SOME kinda ego. so there's definitely is some kinda "I'm a good person, I deserve this," mentality going on. he knows he's got pretty people privilege and makes it work. that's not to say he won't work to get what he wants. he's smart and knows how to work with people. but there's definitely a bit of "I will be compensated for my time and everything will work out in my favour in the end~"

34) which of the Deathly Hallows would they most like to own?

the cloak. I can't see him wanting the stone for obvious reasons, and he's not much of a duelist nor does he really care for power so the wand's out. plus if only he had the cloak he coulda hidden himself from his untimely death 😔

WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER NAMED LIKE THIS?

-> Gideon Crowther

It was inspired by one of my favorite characters in the TV show Criminal Minds, Jason Gideon. He was the model when I try to create my Ravenclaw HL MC. Jason Gideon was an FBI agent and understand a lot about human behaviors and emotions, and he’s so intelligent and composed, this is why the reason I love the name “ Gideon” and looked it up that it can also be used as first name, it’s also appeared in the era 1890s.

For the last name part, the funny thing was, I had no clue with which last name should I go with it… so I found an Victorian era name generator and tried to get some idea… and I found “ Crowther “ sounded very smooth and high status like due to the character setting, so I eventually go with it. And I love it! 💙

The name Lockhart stems from when I was a teacher. Because Gilderoy Lockhart is a bad teacher and a complete inspiration for me.

ambrose + weather

one would be hard pressed to get ambrose to ever admit he has something as frivolous as a favourite weather or season (his words, ones he's parroting from others). but the truth is, he finds overcast days most relaxing. dreary, rainy, spring days especially. sure these days may be dour and grey, but he finds them calming and the sound of the rain is relaxing. they remind him of his brother and the times they'd be shut indoors together, often the only time they actually got to spend together, how little it may be. some might call such grey days depressing, but they make ambrose happy.
