I can't believe all the amazing responses I have gotten from you all!! I think its time I officially set out a participant list for all the lovely, interested contestants seeking to gain Sputnik's affection!! I have placed a reminder of the entry guidelines under the cut as this post is a work in progress and will be regularly updated until the available contestant spots are filled up. Must be either a YA or an Adult Sim

Accepting Human, Spellcaster, Mermaid, Alien and Falien Sims

Must NOT have romantic traits - negative traits are encouraged

Preferring Male Participants, but Sputnik isn't against the idea of flipping the narrative of her dream life for a special someone.

Backstories, likes/dislikes, preferences and skills (except for charisma) are encouraged - careers are a plus in Nikki's eyes.

Maxis Match Sims Only - CC is encouraged but please include it. I own every pack except for the most recent kits and SWJTB.

Please include two everyday outfits, two formal outfits and a swimming outfit - if you want certain CC details to be fluent throughout please add them to other categories, just in case.

You must be okay with any necessary changes I make to your entries: eyes, skinblend, lashes etc. If you want to set all the outfits yourself, I would be happy to keep them - but some personal preferences may apply to changes - please be accepting of that.

Lambert is very interested in Sputnik. He's excited to be with someone who is close to him, as he is an alien/mermaid hybrid 👽 🧜‍♂️

He has a lot of skills and traits already, because he was a played sim once. He lived all his life in Sulani with his mermaid mom. But he's ready to go on with his own life, and he hopes that he can do that with Sputnik 💗

I am pretty sure he had a career too, but it was probably a custom one, and I deleted all custom careers at some point. So he doesn't have one now.

olaf harper grew up in a house full of pixels, with his siblings, his mom and her many - many - boyfriends. olaf is the older of four siblings. his parents divorced when he was still a toddler and he was co-parented, and lived between tartosa and del sol valley.

speaking of family, olaf has an alien great-aunt named wanda harper, with whom he shares the love for painting!

olaf was a very independent baby who really loved to learn things by himself. he was an easy kid with good temperament. he has always been very creative and very inventive! he liked to craft mini robot toys for his siblings.

olaf dreamed of becoming an architect when he grew up. he ended up following a physics degree and he is now an eco-tech scientist.

olaf is very social, he likes to be involved in all kinds of things... so don't be surprised if he knocks on your door trying to persuade you to join his neighborhood action plans!

olaf has never shown any romantic tendency, but once his watcher read sputnik's announcement, the watcher thought "wait, maybe this is olaf's pixelmate!". and here we are...! 🥰

Finnie grew up with two parents who were both in the spotlight for quite a while, so he's now out in the world to make himself a name as a famous comedian. Don't get him wrong he doesn't want to get THAT famous, but he just loves to make people laugh. He's a pretty big geek thanks to her partner in crime/forever bestie/sister Minnie, who was obsessed with the alien world from her childhood. This love for alien life and other supernaturals has been passed down to Finnie, they seen every single movie, read fanfics, theories about everything alien related, and when her sister later discovered alien life he wasn't a bit surprised. He can quote back a lot of movies and books, and can be really geeky in front of others so people always think that he's kinda cringe, but he embraces that fact and doesn't give a damn about what people think. He really is a family person, he is really close with everyone in his family including his many nieces and nephews who are also aliens btw, and he's now dreaming of starting his own little family. Minnie was the one who sent him the ad about Sputniks BC and hyped him up to enter in the challenge. When Finnie saw that beautiful smile of Sputniks he instantly felt a pull towards her and now he's out to get the girl.

Felix might look like a regular human on the outside, but there's something special that sets him apart from true humans: magic! Felix is a spellcaster by birth and is a native of Glimmerbrook. Coming from several generations of spellcasters, his power is enhanced by his strong bloodline. He's currently ranked as an Adept Spellcaster and knows several spells from all 3 classifications. He likes a bit of variety!

Felix is joined in his magical life with his cat familiar Tabitha (not pictured). Being a cat lover, mentioning Tabitha will ensure he will talk for hours. He absolutely adores Tabitha (and cats in general) and just like a grandparent that loves to share pictures of their family, Felix will shower others with photos of his beloved kitty.

Outside of magic, Felix is a tech-lover and works as a Tech Guru for a living. He enjoys all things technology, which makes it reasonable that he also enjoys Electronica and DJ Mixing; techy-sounding music made purely from tech. His interest in DJ'ing also stems from his love to party, dance, and make drinks! He's a very outgoing guy.

Felix is quite proud to be a natural-born spellcaster, so he tends to look down on those that don't have the luxury of magic that he has. He can be quite snobby as a result...

Bio: Before he was Mitsugu Laws, he was Xendrin, the boy from Sixam who longed to go to SimNation. As cool as the media and relatives' stories made it seem, he thought the world would be his oyster, so right before he aged out of teenhood, he moved to Evergreen harbor with dreams of partying all night and modeling all day.

It's been five years since then. Now, Mitsugu Laws lives isolated in Mt. Komorebi, tending to the Onsen bathhouse in disguise while keeping to himself at all times. When in his true form, he only comes out of his cabin in the mountains to look after the animals that pass by, finding more in common with them than any of the human sims he's had the misfortune to meet. Maybe it was Evergreen harbor that was rotten. Maybe he just kept visiting the wrong parts of each world. Maybe he just wasn't desirable to anyone. Either way, it's left him too jaded about an alien's life in SimNation to enjoy it, but still unwilling to go back home and admit to his parents he was wrong.

Any yet...here comes a beautiful fellow alien who has the same love for Simlife that he once had, with none of the fears he now holds. And against his better judgment, he wants to get to know her. Who knows? Maybe she'll be the thing that makes all his pain worth it.

But if this doesn't work out, he's on the first ship back home, dammit.

Xenos Ocean

Xenos Ocean Ageless They/Them Pan for their species Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire Job: Painter

Xenos is from a planet light years from earth called Aquadorium, 95% of the planet was covered in water. Xenos was an engineer there and was on an expedition when he was caught in a vortex storm and pulled through to this solar system crash landing on earth. Xenos has been here ever since, as the energy it would take to power up his ship doesn't exist on the planet except for in the form of H2O and the planets supply STILL isn't enough to power his vessel for him to return home.

Being stuck on earth the last 80 years has been a learning experience in its own right. Over the last few decades he has taken on several disguises but his most recent is homage to the only human to know and see Xenos in his true form. Lazarus was his best friend for over 30 years and they took on the persona of son or grandson as Lazarus aged and eventually passed away about 5 years ago.

Xenos, engineering has been seen over the years in some of todays most used technology but these days you can find them with a paintbrush in hand filling their world with color.

In all the time that Xenos has been on our planet they have really not sought out companionship of a romantic Nature but when they saw the ad for the BC and it was for someone that was literally Out of this world, to have that connection to a being similar to them in some way they couldn't pass up the chance at a bond like this

Never one to turn heads, Sputnik spent a lot of her childhood watching old television programs that showed up on the scanner. While the modern age doesn't align with old plots, she can't help but daydream of the perfect, enviable human life the TV made possible.

Nikki loves all things techie and loves taking them apart to find out how human technology works. Its like archeology to her.

She knows every movie that existed from 1949 to 1963 and has zero trouble with the ideals of all the kooky shenanigans they show. She would be an absolute terror on a neighborly trivia night.

ENFP personality has made her exceptionally empathetic and because of that she refuses to eat meat - but has a plethora of recipes she would love to share with others. She can't exactly COOK per say? But that doesn't mean she won't give it her best.

LIKES: relaxing at the poolside, spontaneous dates to new places, celebrity watching/stalking, new vegetarian recipes, old television.

DISLIKES: shut in behaviors, anti animal/anti children people, mosquitos, hyper-fixation on her alien abilities, flu season, socks

Introducing SPUTNIK PRESLEY 👽💕 FAR FROM HOME BACHELORETTE CHALLENGE

Sweet Sputnik has spent her life in Sixam watching long since finished television from the 1950s. 'I Love Lucy' 'Leave it to Beaver' and 'Father Knows Best' have given her the perfect vision of Earth life. A white picket fence, two children, a husband on the nine to five while she keeps the house. The Ultimate TV Life. As soon as she was given the opportunity, Sputnik found herself crashed on earth and quickly rose to notoriety in Del Sol Valley. Now she has been famous, she wants for nothing, except the dream life that she came to Earth for in the first place. But how will she find the perfect person to make her dreams come true?

Hello everyone, I have been having a little bit of trouble inspiring myself to play since my breakup. I miss playing and I just feel like if I do something different, it'll make me want to play more and not just using CAS and then turning it off - so here we are. A new challenge!!

I am opening up positions for potential Bachelors/Bachelorettes for Miss Presley, with the hope to give her the Good ol American Dream.

For the whole of the month of June I will be accepting contestants from those who are interested in participating!! I will include more information about Miss Sputnik and the eligibility requirements. 🤭

Due to the new pack being romance related and not being out until nearly August, I have been considering holding back on starting. With all the changes, bugs and mod updates, I don't think starting it in the first week of July is a good idea. By extending the deadline to August - I would also choose to DOUBLE the contestant pool!! This would mean we could explore the new pack together. The official end date for submissions would be on July 31st 2024
