We are so proud to present the main raw materials of the products PETSMILE INDICATOR PADS and Meesook cat sand they are used pure rice straw from FANGTHAI FACTORY. Thailand has been successful in agriculture. More than 25% of Thai people are farmers, who grow major crops such as rice and cassava. Each year, there are 55 million tons of crop waste of which 70% is being rid of by burning. This open burning of cassava stumps emits over 15 million metric tons of CO2 each year. MEESOOK CAT SAND can be a prototype of agricultural waste material such as plant, cassava stump, rice straw . Besides solving environmental problems and generating income for farmers and communities As a result of global warming and climate change, cassava is widely cultivated throughout the world. Thailand itself is the country with the fourth-largest cassava cultivation area in the world. The problem posed by cassava cultivation is its rhizomes, which are agricultural waste containing up to 5 million tons per year. General agriculture chooses to eliminate cassava rhizomes by open burning. It generates 15 million tons of carbon dioxide per year. Therefore, it is the source of processing cassava rhizomes into activated charcoal to reduce open burning through innovative self-burning without chemicals and electricity as clean technology and can be processed into many products until received the second prize of the UNIDO project from the UN - Then entered into an agreement with Fang Thai Company, Thailand's largest rice straw regulator, to reduce the burning of rice straw in the open air of Thailand. - Each year, Thailand has 29 million tons of rice straw burned in the open air, producing carbon dioxide gas. 27 million tons of carbon. The MEESOOK Cat Sand development team formed by ladies of 3 generations, who all have participated in UNIDO Global Cleantech Innovation Program (GCIP). We combine our specializations in non-chemical activated charcoal from cassava stumps and non-toxic, bio-degradable pulp from rice straws with the expertise in cat sand from PETSMILE company.
