Felix Fierce (Buffy and Angel Fanfiction) Season 1
Episode 1 - Welcome to The 20s
Warnings: I do not own or claim to own the original content to “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Angel”, the comics or any of the original characters from the “Buffyverse” all rights belong to Joss Whedon.
15 plus, displays of Violence, Gore, Torture and Sexual Innuendos, M/M, F/M, F/F.
Into every generation there was a chosen one until a powerful witch called Willow Rosenberg changed the rules forevermore.
No longer would Buffy Summers stand-alone against the vampires the demons and the forces of darkness.
She was the slayer that changed everything but now it’s his turn.
Felix Fierce found himself running through the woods late at night frantically looking behind him until he found himself crashing into Thorn in full vampire mode, his body hitting against the vampire before he himself fell to the ground.
“Thorn listen this isn’t you.” Felix pleaded as Thorn pulled him off the ground.
“Your right it isn’t that’s kind of the point.” Thorn replied before sinking his teeth into Felix’s neck before Felix suddenly woke up in his bed within his bedroom.
He slowly sat up in his bed before hearing a knock at his door as his father Forest walked into his room.
“I see someone’s finally up I know it’s the holidays and that means allowing my 18 year old son to be as lazy as possible before the new year of school starts but you did promise to chaperone your sister tonight at the New Year’s Eve party.” Forest Fierce reminded his son.
“Dad,” Felix replied as he leaned over to his bedside unit, picking up his phone to check the time. “It’s still morning last time I checked parties happen at night.”
“Yeah but Fyre’s decided she needs to go shopping for an outfit and that’s not exactly my area of expertise.” Forest told him.
“Is this because I’m gay dad?” Felix asked his father.
“No this is because I almost had to take out a second mortgage last time you went on a date with your boyfriend and you decided to buy yourself a whole new wardrobe only to wear something you already.” Forest replied.
“Okay,” Felix yawned. “I see your point but at this point letting me loose with your cards is at your own peril now I’m thinking a new chaperone style outfit is going to need to be bought.”
“Who needs two kidneys anyways?” Forest joked before walking out of Felix’s room and closing the door behind him.
“Great now I’m stuck with my kid sister all day and night.” Felix moaned to himself. “Worst New Year’s ever!”
“Remind me again how I was roped into driving you and Fyre to the shopping mall?” Bryce Kane asked his best friend as he and Felix stood within the store located within Scorchville shopping mall while Fyre was further down the store searching the rails for a New Year’s outfit.
“Because like my sister you both have parties and have left it to the last minute to get an outfit so like the amazing brother and friend I am I agreed to help you both out in this archaic shopping mall that only stays open because of people like you and my sister.” Felix replied.
“Good point,” Bryce agreed. “I do need something other than bland to impress Malerie at her party tonight so let’s just pretend I never moaned to you and I’ve been thankful since the minute we got here.
“Yeah okay Bryce,” Felix laughed at his best friend. “Mercy’s still pissed at you for ditching us tonight so your best keeping me on side at least.”
“Mercy’s still mad?” Bryce asked. “Any ideas on how I can make it up to her?”
“Oh, I’m so not getting involved in a fight between my two best friends.” Felix made himself clear as Fyre walked over to them both holding a somewhat revealing dress in her hands instantly catching her brother’s attention. “Hell, no dad would very much like you to go into the year 2020 with your virginity intact.”
“Felix you’re like an old man it’s almost a new bloody decade let’s not go into it assuming certain outfits make a girl a whore.” Fyre Fierce scolded her older brother. “I mean you dress like a librarian, but I know for a fact you’re not going into the year 2020 with your virginity intact.”
“Well played.” Bryce said with a smile to his best-friend’s younger sister.
“Fine if your going to get bitchy about it you can wear the bloody dress but at least get a cardigan to trick dad with before we leave for the party.” Felix replied, giving into an argument he knew he had no chance of winning.
Fyre quickly walked away from her brother and his best friend and on wards toward the store’s changing room to try on her dress with a victorious smile on her face.
“She is only a year younger than you Felix you need to stop treating her like she’s seven and start realizing she’s seventeen.” Bryce told his friend.
“Here I’m just doing father patrol because dad’s going to be super pissed at her for picking that dress then me for allowing that dress and then she’ll be pissed at dad for being such an old man and then I’ll have to get pissed at dad because he’s pissed at me and before you know it it’s Christmas Armageddon all over again.” Felix explained to Bryce.
“If you think holidays are bad with your family just wait until your dad starts the new year as headmaster at Scorchville High.” Bryce revealed before realizing he slipped up. “Which I wasn’t supposed to mention until after the New Year.”
“You’ve got to be joking me can’t he just stick to teaching at that pompous New York school I mean sure it’s a commute but that comes in handing for sneaking Thorn in and out the house now I’m not even going to be able to sneak about school with him.” Felix complained to his friend. “How the hell did you find out before me anyway?”
“Well I’m captain of the Scorchville Swimmers and Mercy’s is Scorchville High student body president so between the two of us we know everything that goes down in that place.” Bryce revealed. “We were going to tell you, but we couldn’t decide who had to deliver the news and then she stopped talking to me.”
“Well just you wait till I see Mercy because it may just be me blanking the both of you.” Felix warned him. “Now let’s hurry up and find you something because I’m craving coffee.”
Felix and Bryce walked up to the new coffee store/book shop called Scorching Scorchville with a quote underneath the sign saying come in for simply scorching reads and charismatic coffee having dropped Felix’s sister Fyre back off at home after finding her and Bryce outfits for their New Year’s Eve parties.
It was a relatively new store and Felix tended to stick to what he knew best when it came to his caffeinated hot drinks, but he knew his friend Mercy Cole had become obsessed with the place recently and was currently inside meaning it was time to fix things out between her and Bryce but before they even got a chance to step inside they found themselves confronted by Felix’s high school nemesis Rick Star appeared from down the street.
“Well if it isn’t Scorchville’s answer to Ross and Joey.” Rick greeted them with a mocking tone as always. “I bet you guys take naps with each other all the time.”
“Seriously Rick do you just pop up to insult me or do you actually have a life outside of being an archaic school bitch?” Felix snapped back at Rick.
“I’m so glad you can make Malerie’s party tonight I’m sure she’s going to be pleased to see you.” Rick said to Bryce before giving Felix a bitch stare. “Just remember your weird little sidekicks are not on the list.”
“Sidekicks really? Someone really needs to give your side a kick or several.” Felix replied.
“I can’t wait.” Bryce said to Rick, much to Felix’s disapproval as Rick quickly budged past them both and made his way out of sight after turning the street corner. “Why do I have a feeling your pissed with me too?”
“I’m just going to stay focused on the task at hand right now because if I don’t, I may wind up aligning myself with Mercy.” Felix answered Bryce making it clear he wasn’t impressed.
“Malerie has terrible taste in friends but great taste in boyfriends.” Bryce replied trying to justify attending a party with the number one enemy.
“Yeah the jury’s still out on that one.” Felix responded by rolling their eyes.
“Did you really have to bring the traitor with you?” Mercy moaned after Felix and Bryce walked into the coffee shop/bookstore and walked over to her table.
“Play nice Mercy he’s here to apologize.” Felix told her as he sat down opposite his friend.
“I am?” Bryce asked until Felix grabbed a hold of him and forced him to sit down next to him. “Okay I am I’m really sorry.”
“I get the whole rush you seem to be in losing your virginity and I can even somewhat understand why Malerie’s the girl for you, but you’ve not even got a girlfriend yet and your ditching us for her.” Mercy moaned at Bryce.
“Mercy that’s a little harsh don’t you think?” Felix butted in only to get a furious glare from Mercy. “Okay I’m back to being Switzerland over here.”
“Look if it means that much to you, I’ll ditch Malerie’s party and chaperone Fyre with you guys tonight.” Bryce submitted to Mercy’s mood.
“Thank you.” Mercy replied with a smile.
“Okay Switzerland just got switched off for a moment,” Felix couldn’t help but say. “Mercy do you remember our anti-valentines pact last year before I got with Thorn?”
“Not really no, why?” Mercy asked her friend.
“That’s because it only wound up being Bryce and me because you decided to be in a throuple for that long confusing week and we were all like yay go for it because hey it’s something to tick of the list.” Felix defended Bryce. “Bryce has been relentlessly trying to give his virginity to anyone offering and he finally gets a sliver of hope and you’re going to stand in his way?”
“Remind me to remind you never to defend me again.” Bryce told Felix, clearly embarrassed.
“Hey that throuple would’ve worked if they didn’t both fall in love with me the same time, I wound up falling in love with Julien at the same time.” Mercy defended herself before giving in. “But I see your point.”
“So, do I get to go or not?” Asked a confused Bryce.
“Yes, but only because of your dated need to lose your virginity before your 19 if you fall in love with moronic Malerie I may have to disown you.” Mercy warned him.
“Please Malerie’s not going to last a month.” Felix laughed. “Also isn’t it a bit stereotypical to judge someone purely based on their intelligence?”
“When exactly does Switzerland switch back on?” Mercy asked Felix.
“I think Malerie and I have serious potential.” Bryce said in defense of his choice of woman.
“Of course, you do,” Felix mocked his friend while tapping his hand on Bryce’s shoulder before noticing Trix Lance over by the bookstore part of Scorching Scorchville instantly grabbing his attention as he realize she was reading the infamous book with the title Vampyr book. “Here the owner here is very peculiar.”
“I know right? She’s part of the reason I love this place.” Mercy admitted with a smile on her face as she and Bryce joined Felix as they observed Trix reading away within the library like area of the store.
Suddenly Felix began to feel a piercing pain in his head before his eyesight went and all he could see is whiteness before being thrown of his chair much to Mercy and Bryce’s horror as they watched their friend collapse onto the floor.
Felix found himself awaking from the same nightmare he had earlier only this time when he woke up he found himself lying on the floor of Scorching Scorchville after a glass of water was thrown in his face awakening to see Trix, Bryce and Mercy standing over him with Trix holding an empty glass making it clear she was the water culprit.
“See I told you it’s just a perfectly normal teenage collapse you children these days are forever skipping breakfast.” Trix told them all as Bryce and Mercy helped Felix get back onto his feet.
“Are you okay?” Mercy asked her recently conscious friend.
“Yeah clearly just need more carbs or something.” Felix replied to her.
“Are you sure because we could always drop by the hospital and get you checked out?” Bryce suggested.
“Nonsense the boy is perfectly fine you teenagers don’t want to be wasting New Year’s Eve in hospital just because your friend forgot to have breakfast.” Trix said to the three of them.
“Okay lady you seem way too invested in this considering you’re a stranger.” Bryce replied to the blonde-haired store owner.
“Guys I’m fine besides Fyre would literally kill me if I cancelled being chaperone to the party she’s going to.” Felix told Mercy and Bryce, attempting to reassure them both he’s okay.
“What did you see?” Trix asked Felix. “Every time that happens the person always sees something either during it or in a dream the night before.”
“Every time what happens Mrs Lance?” Mercy wondered.
“Fainting of course.” Trix lied to her.
“Okay as interesting as you clearly are, we’ve got a party to chaperone and Bryce has a first date to prepare for.” Felix declared, clearly wanting to get as far away from Trix Lance as possible as something about her made him feel uneasy.
“Very well Felix Fierce enjoy what remains of 2019.” Trix said with a smile before starting to walk away over to the store counter. “I have a feeling 2020 is going to be your year.”
“Hold up how does she know your name?” Bryce asked Felix.
“Beats me.” Felix replied.
“I’m crushing super hard right now!” Mercy admitted as she looked over at Trix with admiration in her eyes.
“So, I’m guessing by the fact your sister was happy when she came home that I’m going to hate her outfit?” Forest asked his son Felix and his son’s friend Mercy as the three of them stood at the bottom of the stairs in the hallway of the Fierce family home waiting for Fyre to grace them with her presence.
“Not half as much as I’m hating you as my new headmaster but if you don’t go all old man on Fyre then I’ll postpone telling her till after the new year.” Felix replied.
“Deal,” Forest gave in reluctantly before telling both Felix and Mercy. “Just make sure she’s always with at least one of you and you all come back here.”
“What are you doing for the new year Mr Fierce?” Mercy asked Felix’s father.
“I’m heading to your parents’ New Year’s Eve party like I do every year it’s a shame none of use will be there this year.” Forest replied to his son’s best friend. “Speaking of which where’s Bryce tonight?”
“He’s at a party where Rick the…” Mercy began to say before quickly changing her words. “Where Rick Star is attending because his soon to be girlfriend Malerie has terrible taste in friends.”
“I still remember the days when you and Rick were inseparable.” Forest said to his son who looked unimpressed with him for reminding him.
“I was friends with Rick before he became a dick.” Felix replied to his father just before Fyre began walking down the stairs in a silky black dress demanding all the attention from the room as she continued to go down the stairs until she was stood next to her father, brother and her brother’s friend.
“Fyre you look as beautiful as ever.” Forest told his daughter before giving her a hug and kissing her on the forehead lovingly.
“When’s Thorn meeting us?” Mercy asked Felix.
“He’s only just finished work so he’s going to meet us at the party once he’s had the chance to get changed.” Felix answered her as Forest broke off his hug with his daughter looking irritated by Thorn’s mention.
“You didn’t tell me Thorn was going to be chaperoning too.” Forest said to Felix in a disapproving tone.
“He is my boyfriend dad and it’s our first new year whether we’re partying or chaperoning or sitting at home doing nothing we’re going to be spending it together.” Felix replied. “Which is probably a good time to mention I invited him over for dinner tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow’s family only.” Forest told his son.
“Does that mean my invite’s revoked because my parents are going to be way too hungover to cook and even if they weren’t, I much prefer your cooking Mr Fierce.” Mercy butted in making it clear she wasn’t going to be uninvited easily.
“Of course, not you and Bryce are extended family.” Forest said sincerely making Mercy smile.
“Dad, if you don’t let Felix have his boyfriend round tomorrow then I’m going to go out tonight find myself a new boyfriend or maybe a couple of boyfriends and get them to gate crash tomorrow’s dinner.” Fyre warned her father.
“Fine,” Forest once again found himself giving into his children’s demands. “I hate when you decide to gang up on me.”
“Why do you hate him so much anyways dad?” Felix asked his dad, clearly annoyed that his boyfriend and father didn’t get along.
“I don’t hate him Felix I’m just not a big fan either.” Forest admitted.
“I guess that just makes tomorrow the perfect timing for everyone to become fans of everyone.” Mercy once again butted in, this time trying to calm the room before Christmas Armageddon had a New Year’s special.
“I don’t know what’s taking him so bloody long it’s our first time seeing the new year in together and he’s running late.” Felix complained to Mercy as the two of them stood within the balcony part of the nightclub The Avenue while looking down at the dance-floor monitoring Fyre who was busy dancing with a group of friends.
“He’ll be here Felix I’m sure he’s got a great reason for showing up late.” Mercy replied, trying to reassure her friend.
“Anything short of him being dead is going to be a hard sell at this point.” Felix told her before he was suddenly nudged accidentally by a man causing him to fall over the railing of the balcony.
Felix fell from the balcony instantly getting everyone’s attention as the entire club looked on in horror and the music stopped only for Felix to land from the long fall on both feet with ease causing everyone to instantly clap and cheer him on.
“How did you just do that?” Fyre asked her brother as she ran over to Felix. “Are you okay?”
“I have no idea,” Felix replied as Mercy began running down the stairs from the balcony to check on her best friend. “I guess I just got lucky.”
“Lucky’s definitely the right word there.” Fyre said before turning to the rest of the club and shouting. “Show’s over get the music going!”
“Despite my death defying stunts how’s your night going sis?” Felix asked his sister as the crowd went back to dancing as the music began playing once more.
“It’s alright except for most of the eye candy being brain farts the intriguing ones being stuck up and me just a girl looking for a new year’s kiss.” Fyre admitted to her older brother as Mercy walked over to them both.
“Are you okay? That was some fall have you been secretly taking in extra gymnastic lessons?” Mercy asked her friend.
“Yeah I’m fine.” Felix reassured Mercy before turning his attention back to his sister. “I’m sure you’ll find someone to kiss for the bells whereas my date seems to be…”
“Here,” Thorn butted in as he appeared from out of the crowd and starting walking towards Felix. “Your date seems to be here and he’s really sorry for being late.”
“Well at least you’re here now.” Felix said to his boyfriend before giving him a kiss on the lips only to feel a strange tingle when he kissed him making him pull a confused face.
“Are you okay?” His boyfriend asked him.
“Yeah it’s just been a long day.” Felix replied.
“You can say that again earlier he fell of a chair fainting and just now he falls off the bloody balcony and lands on both feet.” Mercy revealed to Thorn and Fyre.
“Wait when did you faint?” Fyre and Thorn asked Felix in unison.
“It was nothing,” Felix answered them while giving Mercy a glare. “Definitely not worth talking about.”
“Well I best give you extra attention tonight just in case.” Thorn to his boyfriend before hugging Felix and kissing him on the cheek unknowingly making Felix feel the same strange tingle, this time making Felix’s skin crawl.
“Happy New Year!” Thorn said to Felix as the two now stood at the balcony of the night club, before kissing his boyfriend on the lips after the entire club counted down to the year 2020.
“Happy New Year,” Felix replied after feeling something off with Thorn’s touch once again before kissing him again to see if things still felt off, which it did. “Is everything okay with you Thorn? You seem a little off.”
“I’m fine in fact I was about to say the same to you.” Thorn told him. “How about we go outside and bring in the New Year properly before anyone notices we’re gone?”
Suddenly Felix saw Thorn’s full vampire face appear before his face returned to normal within a blink leaving him even more confused as he was reminded of his earlier nightmare.
“Yeah sure.” Felix answered with uncertainty.
Felix and Thorn quickly made their way out of The Avenue kissing passionately as Felix decided to ignore the weirdness, he experienced leaving it in 2019 before Thorn suddenly threw Felix into the wall with force.
“Thorn what the hell?” Felix asked before being left horrified as Thorn’s face went into vampire mode. “I’m so hating my brain today!”
“Being with you is truly tedious you never stop talking and you and your friends are even worse I think I’ll kill them after killing you.” Thorn cruelly mocked Felix as he walked towards him.
“Thorn what’s wrong with you?” Felix wondered, clearly terrified by Thorn approaching him with a vampire face. “I had this dream before.”
Thorn plunged at Felix who quickly moved to the side before grabbing a hold of his vampire lover lifting his body upwards and slamming him into the brick wall before beginning to make a run for it down the alleyway only for Thorn to start chasing after him.
Felix didn’t get far before Thorn caught up to him as the vampire jumped on his prey making them both fall to the ground Thorn landing on top off Felix with Felix’s back to the ground.
“Don’t worry this will all soon be over.” Thorn promised him.
“Screw you!” Felix shouted before kneeing his lover in the crotch and throwing his body over his head making the vampire land harshly onto the ground as Felix quickly rose to his feet.
Thorn wasted no time in getting back on his feet and charging towards Felix again who quickly kick Thorn in the stomach before using his other foot to climb up his body kicking the vampire in the face before black flipping back into the same spot where he delivered a punch straight to Thorn’s stomach making Thorn crash to the ground once more.
“You’re a vampire.” Felix finally realized as Thorn once again stood back up.
“This isn’t over slayer.” Thorn promised before turning around and making a run for it as Felix suddenly heard a clapping sound only to turn around to see Trix Lance standing before him with a lit cigarette in hand.
“Preferably slayers stake the vampire, but I suppose that wasn’t a terrible first time I’ve heard of worst.” Trix said to him while taking a draw from her cigarette as Thorn was now out of sight. “But next time you go up against a vampire you should probably kill them.”
“He’s a vampire and I’m a slayer,” Felix began to understand. “I’ve heard stories I mean who hasn’t, but I didn’t think any of it was real.”
“Vampires, werewolves, trolls, ogres…the list goes on.” Trix revealed as she threw her cigarette to the ground and stubbed it out with her heels. “All of them are real.”
“I want to argue the reality of it all but I literally survived a fall without a scratch and I just fought with my vampire boyfriend who I guess now is my ex.” Felix replied to the blonde haired store owner as he walked towards her. “My only question is who are you?”
“Bellatrix Lance, your new watcher from the newly established Watchers Academy founded by Rupert Giles.” Trix admitted to her slayer. “We should probably start discussing your training.”
“Wow,” Felix said in shock. “Welcome to 2020 Felix Fierce.”

Charmed Again: Season 3 (Charmed Fanfic)
Episode 7 - Spellbound Behind Bars
Warnings: I don’t own the rights to any of the characters from the hit TV show “Charmed” or the storylines related to the show those rights belong to original creator Constance M Burge.
15+ Moderate/Graphic Displays of Violence, Sexual Innuendos, Witchcraft and Potentially Triggering Scenes.
Returning home to find his murdered father and aunt in the foyer of the Halliwell Manor would’ve been more than traumatic for anyone never mind someone who had already witnessed the death of his adoptive parents and his birth mother and things were made worse when Drake was arrested by the police wrongly charged with the murder of Paul and Pan Halliwell luckily his daughter Lilah never witnessed any of this and was currently with her mother Cindy the only comforting factor in a terrible situation that had well and truly left Drake feeling broken.
Through the worst times of his life Drake Black always had one person by his side his best friend Lacey Morgan-Halliwell but after killing her wife and brother in law’s assassin she had been kind of lacking when it came to communication leaving Drake alone behind bars with no word on getting out as he began to believe he was going to spend the rest of his life in a maximum security prison for a crime he never committed fearing he’d never see his daughter again.
Drake sat within the courtyard of the maximum-security prison he found himself imprisoned by as he sat on the cold ground with his legs crossed and eyes closed attempting to meditate and picture himself anywhere but there without accidentally blinking there at the same time.
Sure Drake had the power to leave at any moment but he knew if he did that would raise far too many questions leaving him with no choice but to stay put and hope the elders would find a magical solution to make all this go away knowing that even if he got out of his prison there’d be no way of bringing back his father or aunt no matter how much he wished they weren’t gone.
“Yeah I wouldn’t do that if I were you this is my first bit of peace since I got dumped in this hell hole and if you try disturbing it you will deeply regret it.” Drake warned Joey Kane and his prison gang as he opened his eyes to see them approaching.
“I don’t know what your doing here but move it along to somewhere else.” Joey told the Halliwell hybrid as Drake stood up to face Jake and his friends.
“Yeah I don’t take answers from anybody let alone some thug who needs a pose to bark orders at everybody.” Drake snapped at him.
“You’ve got an awful big mouth, but I doubt you’re half as dangerous as they say.” Joey said while pulling a makeshift shiv out of his pocket.
Joey charged at Drake with his makeshift shiv in his hand only for Drake to quickly kick it out of his hands before kicking Joey to the ground as Drake proceeding in fighting with Joey’s prison gang leading to Drake flooring each one of them with ease proving he was more than able to take them all without any weapons other than himself.
“Next time you’ll know better than to interrupt a guy while meditating.” Drake scoffed at him before hearing his own named shouted from across the courtyard as prison guarder Salter marched over the courtyard in his direction and whacked Drake across the face with his baton making Drake fall to the ground.
“You just can’t help yourself, can you?” Salter shouted at Drake. “One way or another I’ll make you follow the rules!”
Drake had found himself pulled into the prison warden Echo Jinx’s office within the maximum-security prison he had found himself residing in following his little showdown in the courtyard as he sat handcuffed in front of the warden who was sat behind her desk looking at him with her usual judgmental look on her face.
“So, you’ve found yourself in trouble again Mr Black it’s beginning to be something of a regular occurrence for you.” She said to him.
“Hey, I was just minding my own business taking up some good old-fashioned meditation and then those degenerates came and started I fight so I had no choice but to put them in their place.” Drake replied. “Did I mention that they had a shiv? Not my fault Salter only seems to jump in when it’s time to get handsy with me I’m pretty sure he’s got it bad for me.”
“I will look into filing an official complaint about prison guard Salter’s mistreatment of prisoners even though some of you clearly deserve a bit of tough love from time to time.” Echo informed him.
“Thanks, but no thanks Jinx I’d rather just take care of things myself whether or not it leads me back here.” Drake said making it clear he didn’t want her assistance.
“With more violent behavior no doubt.” Echo snapped. “Has your life always been violent Mr Black?”
Drake wanted to answer yes or at least reveal he had lived a violent life for quite some time now ever since his adoptive parents died in a fire he accidentally caused.
Since then he had vanquished several demons including his own grandfather and his daughter’s aunt and watched his own mother die before his very eyes and that was all before discovering his father and aunt dead in their family home.
To say Drake Black’s life had been a violent one would truly be an understatement.
“It’s hardly been the best life that’s for sure.” Drake answered her.
“I can help you…” Echo began to say.
“If you’re going to help anyone it should be Julian Parker.” Drake interrupted the warden. “He’s a big-time drug lord whose business hasn’t exactly stopped while in here and if you don’t put a stop to it, I’ll have to take matters into my own hands.”
“You do realize you shouldn’t be making threats in the prison warden’s office, right?” She asked him.
“Tick tock goes the clock. Time speed forward so I can be back in my block.” Drake quickly chanting making the nearby clock on the wall’s mechanics inside begin spinning around.
Drake found himself showering within the seemingly empty prison showers when he heard a door slam loudly making him switch off his shower and wrap his towel around his waste as he investigates the prison bathroom only to be left shocked to find Jake stood waiting for him wearing nothing but a towel himself.
“I take it you can just freely roam whenever you feel like it as long as you pay the guards enough.” Drake said to his prison nemesis. “I can’t decide whether it’s brave or stupid of you to come here alone after how I easily I just took you and your friends on earlier.”
“Let’s say I’m a bit of both,” Joey said seductively as he dropped his own towel and walked towards Drake before pulling Drake’s towel off him and kissing Drake on the lips.
Drake and Joey shared a smile between each other before Joey roughly pushed Drake up against a nearby wall as the two prisoners began passionately kissing each other before Joey turned Drake around to face the wall as he pushed himself up against Drake and began passionately kissing the Halliwell hybrid’s neck.
“They really don’t joke when they say prison food tastes like hell actually if I’m honest hell tastes better.” Drake joked as he sat in the canteen area within the prison while he ate what was considered his dinner, attempting to cheer up his friend Toby who was sat opposite him his body shaking and sweating from withdrawal symptoms.
“Tell me about it, Julian got busted and now I’ve got nowhere of getting anything, Drake please you got to help me!” Toby pleaded with his cellmate.
“Julian got busted wow what a shame wonder who tipped them?” Drake replied with a knowing smirk. “Toby it’s time we get you clean once and for all you got a wife and kid outside you need to be clean before returning to them or else you’ll only wind up back in here again and they won’t wait for you a second time around. Trust me when you have family you’ve got to try everything to keep them.”
“Your right man I know your right but I’m not sure I’m strong enough to go through this again.” Toby admitted to him.
“Luckily for you I have a little remedy that’ll kick the withdrawal symptoms ass and help you stay off the drugs for good.” Drake revealed. “It’ll be thanks enough not to put up with your addicted ass so don’t worry about owing me anything I don’t play those prison games.”
Toby smiled at Drake silently thanking him for his help as Drake noticed Jake and his prison crew walk over to their table before sitting down at their table with Jake sitting right next to Drake leaving Drake unsure of whether he was about to be stabbed or asked to join their group, not particularly wanting either to be true.
“I sure hope you’re not here for another beat-down because if so, I intend on making your injuries that much more fatal.” Drake warned them all while looking straight at Joey.
“We’re not here to start anything with you we learned the hard way so to speak not to mess with you Drake Black.” Joey replied with a grin on his face. “I suppose we should’ve known any guy who killed their own father and aunt in cold blood shouldn’t be messed with.”
“I’m innocent although I’m starting to wonder if the people who need to know that actually know it or not.” Drake stated, disgusted by the accusation of which he had found himself in jail for.
“Either way we’ll offering our friendship towards you whether you’re in here for a few weeks, months or the long haul we want to be your friends.” Joey told the Halliwell hybrid.
“Yeah I’ve not really bothered with many friendships since high school and she’s dead now so that doesn’t exactly bode well for any new friends.” Drake answered Joey.
“You’re a funny guy Drake,” Jake laughed. “How about you scratch our backs and we’ll scratch yours.”
“Okay then,” Drake replied, clearly finding some use for his new friends. “Let’s start this whole scratching thing now I need to get my hand on some items, and I don’t want to be asked why I need these items.”
“Consider it done friend.” Joey said with a sinister smirk.
The next day Drake forced Toby into joining him for his second attempt at meditation as they sat within the middle of the courtyard grounds legs crossed, eyes closed and meditating while noticing nothing butter utter silence a silence Drake knew was because of his new friendship with Joey Kane.
“My wife swears by meditation she’s going to be shocked when she hears somebody convinced me to meditate with them.” Toby said to Drake breaking their silence.
“Part of meditating is the silence,” Drake joked. “Trust me it’s not my sort of thing normally but if I stop trying to hold myself together and stay in each moment as they come then I’m afraid I’ll fall apart.”
“Well now your top dog around here you’ll get all the time in the world to meditate as you please.” Toby replied while opening his eyes.
“I had several dreams about being top dog in prison and I’ve got to say I prefer the dream world’s version to this reality.” Drake admitted as he opened his eyes to see Joey walking over to them both. “Well there goes the silence.”
“I got everything you asked for.” Joey declared before dropping a key onto Drake’s lap. “After lock-down meet me in the basement for the exchange.”
“I guess I’ll see you after lock-down then.” Drake responded with a smile before Joey quickly walked away from him and Toby.
“I don’t think he’s being helpful for the sake of it, Drake he’s clearly after something and I don’t think this supposed miracle remedy of yours is worth doing business with the likes of him.” Toby warned his friend. “The Kane family are notorious in San Francisco.”
“So is my family in certain circles and I can promise you Halliwell carries much more fear than Kane.” Drake boasted. “Beside if I’ve just been left here to rot, I may as well start making friends with those in for longer than you.”
“I’ll still visit you when I get out my wife and kid too their going to love you Drake.” Toby replied to him.
“Once you’re out of here don’t ever look back and if you wind up back in here, I’ll be kicking your ass!” Drake warned him.
“Well if I wasn’t certain I was going to stay clean before I’m certain I will no.” Toby admitted. “I’m going to miss you when I get out of here…I hope you do too one day.”
Drake cautiously walked downstairs and into the prison basement knowing there was a chance that this could be a trap but not too worried knowing a part demon part witch hybrid was more than enough to handle Joey and his friends even if he was no longer a charmed one.
“I’ve got to admit a part of me believed this was going to be some kind of trap.” Drake said as he found Joey standing waiting for him while holding a pillowcase filled with contraband.
“You’ve got to learn to trust more people sure we started a fight with you but you’ve earned our respect now although I’m the one who should be cautious with all the messed up things you told me to buy.” Joey replied to him. “What exactly are you planning to with all this anyway?”
“Seems like somebody already forgot the no questions asked part of our deal.” Drake reminded him as he walked over to Joey and took the pillowcase off his hands.
“Fine but it wouldn’t kill you to thank a guy for going to so much trouble.” Joey flirted with Drake as he grabbed a hold of his body and pulled the Halliwell hybrid towards him. “Unless last time was just a onetime thing?”
“I got advised to stay away from you probably shouldn’t be sleeping with you either.” Drake replied with a flirtatious smile.
“And are you going to…stay away?” Joey asked before Drake kissed him.
“I’m done listening to anyone’s advice.” Drake answered him before the two began passionately kissing.
“So, I’ve heard you’ve got yourself roped into the Kane family I’ve got to say that’s not quite what I was expected when I was sent down here to keep and eye on the Halliwell hybrid.” Echo revealed to Drake the next morning as he sat back in her office once more while she sat comfortably behind her desk.
“Ah now it makes sense why the prison warden has taken so much interest in me.” Drake scoffed. “So, what are you a white lighter, elder, demon or other?”
“I’m a white lighter the elders assigned me here after the tragic events which led to your wrongful incarceration I was advised to reveal myself sooner but my curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to see how the half demon worked within prison confinements.” Echo told him. “The elders are working on your release as us some kind of supernatural police force to get you out of jail they’re just hitting a few bumps along the way.”
“Of course, they are because now the charmed ones are dead, I’m just back to be some demonic hybrid they don’t approve of.” Drake snapped. “Firstly, I would’ve been out by now if I were a charmed one and secondly you should’ve told me the minute you got here to save me thinking I’d never get out of this place! As if losing my father and aunt weren’t enough the least you could do is get me out this prison.”
“I admit keeping lip was a mistake on my part but trust me when I say you are still very much a top priority with the elders you see Drake Black you are still needed to restore the charmed ones just like you did before but this time with different charmed colleagues.” Echo replied to Drake leaving him stunned by her revelations.
“Being a charmed one is the reason I’m in here it’s the reason I have nobody left except my daughter who I can’t even see right now.” Drake scoffed at her. “There’s no chance in hell I’ll ever be a charmed one again.
“Being a charmed ones is also the reason you were reunited with your family that you had your daughter and why your best friend didn’t stay dead although the elders are thoroughly regretting that mistake now she’s running around killing people right left and center.” Echo informed the Halliwell hybrid.
“Hold up you mean she’s killed more people?” Drake asked in horror, realizing how far Lacey Morgan-Halliwell had fallen.
“She’s mostly hunting other witch hunters, but she has taken out a white lighter or too as well it’s safe to say nobody in the magical community is safe as long as she lives.” Echo answered him. “Which I’m sure will be easy enough for the charmed ones to handle once they have been reborn with your help.”
“Hell no!” Drake shouted while standing up. “Killer or not I’m not killing my best friend and as for being a charmed one I was done being the elders’ lackey the moment they didn’t show up to save my dad.”
“Drake,” Echo said as she took a deep sigh before standing up to face him. “I can’t begin to imagine what your going through not only grieving but imprisoned but imagine what your going through now and how you can stop others from suffering that same fate.”
“Yeah that’s not my problem.” Drake replied.
“I don’t believe you I mean you have every means to escape prison and yet you stay because you know breaking out whether your innocent or not is wrong just like being able to help people and choosing not to is wrong.” Echo argued with him before Salter knocked on the door before opening it.
“I need to take Mr Black back to his cell now Miss Jinx.” Salter informed the white lighter pretending to be a prison warden.
“Very well,” Echo sighed with frustration before lowering her voice to speak to Drake. “Please just think about what I’ve said.”
“I’m more interested in seeing how quick their going to work to get me out without the knowing of getting me as some kind of prize for them.” Drake made himself clear.
Drake walked into his prison cell relieved to see Toby sat on the bottom bunk drinking from a plastic cup which contained a potion Drake made to help erase Toby’s withdrawal symptoms and his addiction in the process.
“I don’t know what’s inside this mad remedy you made but I’m beginning to feel like a new man.” Toby praised his friend while continuing to drink.
“Just make sure you finish the entirety of it.” Drake reminded him.
“I will, don’t worry in fact I’ll do it right now.” Toby said as he down the rest of the potion and stood up to hug Drake. “I can’t thank you enough Drake you’re like some kind of wizard.”
“It’s okay you can thank me by getting out of here and not fucking up your second chance.” Drake laughed while Toby continued to hug him.
As Drake continued to hug the only real friend, he believed to have in the prison he noticed Joey walking past his cell looking far from happy to see Drake touching another man clearly believing it to be anything but innocent.
The very next morning Drake woke up about to learn a cruel lesson about getting close to anyone while in prison as he was once again thrown into a murder scene of someone he had found himself growing close to as a dreadful history continued to repeat itself for the troubled Halliwell hybrid.
“Toby if you don’t want some ugly ass prison guard with bad morning breath screaming in your face you better get up now.” A blissfully unaware Drake told his cellmate before jumping out of his bunk bed to be left shocked to the core when his feet landed in a pool of blood.
Drake’s face dropped as he looked on the bottom bunk to see a bloodied and lifeless Toby laid on the bed with his throat slit much to Drake’s horror as he found himself flashing back to finding his father and aunt in a similar state remaining frozen for a moment before beginning to shout louder and louder.
“Help somebody help!” He shouted repeatedly despite knowing in his gut that Toby was already gone. “Guards.”
Drake found himself sitting within an interrogation room handcuffed and chained to the table while his eyes were red raw from crying over the death of his cellmate still shaking from the shock of finding his cellmate dead knowing it must of happened while he slept believing the murderer was his latest terrible choice in men.
“Obviously the elders know you’re not guilty of this crime and after advising the right people about the Kane family’s history of murder we ran a few tests on your blood leading to the conclusion you had been drugged leaving in a deep sleep which is why you never woke up to your friend being murdered.” Echo revealed to him as she walked over to the table and sat opposite the chained Drake. “I’m deeply sorry for your loss I wish I could say I’m surprised.”
“Hold up so your pretty much confirming Joey is behind all this?” Drake asked as his grief quickly turned to anger.
“Well I can’t exactly say for sure without checking in with the elders again, but I can honestly say I’d put good money on him!” Echo stated.
“Then I guess I’ve got a new bad guy to vanquish.” Drake declared. “And whoever helped him.”
“They’re not like the normal demons you vanquish Drake you can’t just vanquish them it’s not vanquishing when their human it’s murder.” Echo explained to a grieving Drake.
“What’s the use of being a witch and protecting the innocent when my friends, my family just get slaughtered one by one and I have to sit there and do nothing?” Drake snapped at the white lighter posing as a prison guard.
“Because there’s laws and a whole system in place to save humans from themselves granted they are flawed at best but that doesn’t mean we should take matters into our own hands we’re not gods.” Echo argued with him.
“That’s beyond hilarious coming from a woman whose real boss act like gods all the bloody time when all their just promoted white lighters considering most of them were wiped out years ago and saved by my own great-grandfather.” Drake continued to argue his point. “My god damn family has saved your asses time and time again but when it comes to saving us you are nowhere to be seen so don’t you dare sit there and tell me what I’m to do or not to do because I’m done listening to the lot of you!"
Drake had plenty of time alone in his new prison cell thinking whether to handle things the charmed way or the demonic way knowing the charmed way had only ever failed him whereas the demonic way was no less inhumane than the people who slaughtered his cellmate.
After a few hours after lock-down Drake found Salter opening his cell before ordering him out of bed and cuffing him as they escorted the Halliwell hybrid into the prison canteen to find Joey stood there waiting for him as Salter quickly made himself out of sight.
“I heard about your cellmate and by the looks of it you’re not exactly handling it very well.”
“I had a feeling you’d arrange a meeting with me sooner or later although I’m very surprised you chose the same day.” Drake said as he walked towards Joey before a knife blinked into his hand. “Killing my only friend in here was the worse place you ever made.”
“I never killed anyone Drake but I’m sure you’re not going to believe that given my family name.” Joey scoffed before Drake grab a hold of his hand slamming it down on a nearby table and pinning Joey’s hand to the table with his knife causing Joey to scream out in pain.
“Here’s the thing I’ve been lied to most of my life so when people lie to me it, kind of pisses me off.” Drake told him, as he contemplated murdering the man in front of him.
“I didn’t do it Drake,” Joey said in between screams of pain. “I don’t do over friends like that.”
“I don’t believe you!” Drake shouted as he twisted the knife launched in Joey’s hand.
“It’s probably some demon you stupid witch.” Joey screamed at him shocking Joey in the process as Drake instantly pulled the knife out of Joey’s hand as Joey fell to the ground his hand bleeding heavily.
“How do you know I’m a witch?” Drake asked him as he dropped the bloody knife to the ground, disgusted by what he had just done out of rage.
“I’m the guy who got your ingredients wasn’t hard to work out what you were after that.” Joey replied as he held on his hand trying to stop it from bleeding groaning in pain before Drake waved his hand and suddenly Joey’s hand was fully bandaged.
“Luckily for you I know how to bandage a perp from back when I was putting people in jail instead of locking them up.” Drake said as he helped a reluctant Joey back up to his feet. “So, you’re really telling me your innocent?”
“Screw you, you just stabbed me you psychopath and now you want to interrogate me.” Joey snapped at him. “Sure, I was jealous, but I don’t kill over jealousy I just break a few legs.”
“You know that’s problematic too right?” Drake laughed in response.
“Says the jackass who just stabbed me in the hand!” Joey replied before looking at his bandaged hand. “Although I’ve got to admit your powers are kind of cool.”
“I’m sorry for stabbing you I guess I have some anger issues after everything.” Drake apologized. “I can’t believe I almost killed me.”
“Please what’s a stabbing between friends?” Joey joked before going on to say. “For the record you wouldn’t have wound up killing me even if I did kill your friend, you’re not a murderer I’ve known murderers and trust me you’re not one of them.”
“I thought I could be for a moment but then I remembered that’s not who I am and it’s not who my father would ever want me to be.” Drake revealed to him. “Who all four of my parents would ever want me to be.”
“I have a theory Salter’s a demon I mean he’s had it in for you since you got here, and I’ve not seen him around until you showed up.” Joey explained his claim. “I mean I’ve never been a witch or a detective so you should probably do some digging but I’ve got a hunch and my hunches are rarely wrong.”
“You know you should probably listen to the guy he’s not entirely stupid for a thug.” Salter suggested after shimming into the canteen.
“Good it’s a demon, demons I can kill without feeling like a murderer.” Drake said with a sigh of relief. “Which I suppose is kind of messed up considering I’m half demon.”
Salter suddenly summoned an energy ball above his hand before throwing it in Drake’s direction who waved his hand to blink the energy ball out of sight before it reappeared hitting Salter and sending him flying across the air before ending up laid on the floor. Before Salter could get back on his feet Drake waved his hand once more setting the demon on fire and watching him burn before exploding in front of him and Joey.
“Remind me to never piss you off again.” Joey joked with Drake.
“Got to admit that felt much better than murdering you would’ve done.” Drake laughed.
Later that day Drake walked back into Echo’s office within the prison no longer wearing any prison clothes or handcuffs instead looking like himself once again in his own clothes much to Echo’s delight.
“So, you vanquished a demon instead of murdering a human.” Echo said with a sense of smug in her voice. “I guess this means despite everything you’re still more charmed than demonic.”
“I’ve been stuck in here longer than needed to take out that demon, haven’t I?” Drake scoffed at the white lighter masquerading as a prison guard. “God even when I’m grieving the elders still have me doing their dirty work to the lengths, they kept me imprisoned until now once I did what they wanted.”
“What can I say the elders have their way of doing things sometimes it’s not for you or me to understand.” Echo replied, admitting Drake was right.
“You’re not like most white lighters, now are you?” Drake asked her.
“Actually, I am you charmed ones just seem to get special treatment from all your previous white lighters and look where’s that got you! The second generation of the charmed ones lasted three years.” Echo snapped at him. “I’m around to make sure the next charmed ones don’t wind up the same way.”
“Wow you’ve definitely got a way of words!” Drake replied before taking a deep sigh. “Let me talk to Quinn!”
Echo nodded in acceptance before orbing out of the room only for Quinn to orb into the room seconds later.
“Hey how are…” Quinn began to say before getting punched in the mouth by Drake.
“How dare you put me through all of this after everything I’ve been through?” Drake shouted at his former elder. “How dare you not save them and leave me to find their bodies? How could you let them keep me here?”
“I’m sorry it wasn’t my decision I voted against this, but the other elders thought it would help remind you who you are at a time when you needed it most.” Quinn revealed to him.
“So, once again you chose everyone else but me but this time it’s unforgivable.” Drake told him with tears in his eyes. “You let me lose memories of my mother when I was grieving her, you went off to chase your dream of being an elder instead of helping get me back and now you let your colleagues or whatever the hell you want to call them dump me in jail after I lost my family a family that took you in too.”
“I’ve apologised for that over and over again what more do you want from me?” Quinn asked him.
“I wanted you to be there for me you know how much it killed me losing my parents losing Eve and yet you weren’t there when I lost them.” Drake cried. “All I ever wanted was for you to choose me over everything else and yet you never did…you never will.”
“I still love you don’t ever think I’ve ever stopped loving you.” Quinn declared with tears in his eyes.
“That’s not enough,” Drake replied as he dried his tears. “Now that I’m free to go I’m going to do just that.”
“What about Charmed?” Quinn asked before Drake blinked away.

Charmed Again: Season 3 (Charmed Fanfic)
Episode 4 - The People Versus Raven Turner

Raven shimmered onto the witness booth in the magical community’s courtroom the entire room being completely black except for the large white floor and two large white desks for the accused.
It’s the same court room in which the original charmed ones were put on trial for reckless magic and fought to save their friend Daryl’s life many years ago with the exact same large heads floating above the room preparing to make their judgement on the proceedings.
Raven looked over at one desk for the accused somewhat comforted to see her brother Cole sat behind it along with Paul, Pan and Drake and their white lighter Lacey while the headmaster at magic school Dermot McQueen sat alone at the other table clearly ready to condemn the demon.
“My name is Raven Turner I’m part human part demon, but my demonic side is the reason why I’m standing here today.” Raven addressed the court. “I was born and raised by my mother after she killed my father but unlike my mother, I chose a different path for myself. By choosing this path of peace I had no choice but to leave the Underworld behind forever because I refused to believe that just because I’m a demon that automatically makes me evil.”
“Your receptionist, your neighbor and several of your employees at Halliwell and Turner were slaughtered not to mention a student at my own school.” Dermot told the half demon half human hybrid. “Tell me why a demon would go to such lengths to hurt you unless you are the demon who did the hurting?”
“You really don’t understand the Underworld, do you?” Raven snapped at the elder. “Hurting people is exactly what the evil love doing more than anything especially hurting a demon who rejected their rules and way of life.”
“Perhaps not but you do in fact know my employee Mr Drake Black and you are a friend of his are you not?” Dermot asked the accused. “Therefore, giving you the opportunity to get to know and possibly even kill my student.”
“Objection!” Drake shouted at the top of his lungs as he rose from his chair, eager to fight for his fellow hybrid.
“On what ground?” Asked one of the three heads.
“This elder is arguing the archaic theory that just because someone she may or may not have had some contact with the victims then she must clearly be the guilty party however as we all know people die around us all the time.” Drake addressed the court. “Raven is no different from a good witch who is just here trying to explain why people are dying around her but instead of being a witch she’s a demon and therefore there’s this assumption that she must be guilty which is biased and frankly idiotic.”
“Witches lose innocents all the time which the explanation there but Miss Raven Turner isn’t a witch she’s a demon and whether you like it or not you can’t argue that when people start dying around a demon it’s usually the demons fault.” Dermot argued with Drake.
“Raven has powers just like a good witch does she doesn’t kill innocents just like a good witch and the only person in this court room who sees Raven Turner as anything less than a valuable part of the magical community is you and people with prejudices like you.” Drake schooled his boss once again before looking up at the three judges. “Raven has never shown any signs of wanting to hurt anyone the whole time I’ve known her, she literally escaped the Underworld because she wasn’t able to hurt anyone and now you want to put her on trial when we should be protecting her.”
“There is no evidence to prove Drake’s theory that Raven needs any protection just like there is no evidence of any other demon around when these crimes were committed other than Raven Turner herself of course.” Dermot argued.
“None of you may have any reason to trust Raven Turner because none of you really even know her but you’ve all heard of me and accept me enough to not only be a charmed one but a guidance counselor at magic school.” Drake said taking a different approach in his defense of his friend. “I’m half demon just like she is but all this is pushed aside by you all because I’m a charmed one, but it shouldn’t be because the demon part of me makes up the charmed ones just as much as my witch side. The elders have overturned many archaic rulings over the years we no longer live in times where any demon should be judged just for being a demon. I know Miss Turner and I can honestly say without a shred of doubt in my mind she isn’t guilty of this crime.”
“Is it not true Mr Black that you also trusted her and her brother Cole Turner before they betrayed you by working alongside the ancient mistress of dark magics Morgana to unlock the dark grimoire?” Dermot questioned Drake. “I mean for a demon who doesn’t want to harm anyone the unlocking of the dark grimoire would’ve caused a lot of harm would it not?”
“Yes, but that was under a desperate act the siblings had to try and reunite with their father we have all done reckless things out of grief.” Drake replied to him.
“That is not an excuse for almost unleashing all kinds of torment into this world the only thing that this proves is that your judgement is clearly not reliable.” Dermot told Drake before returning his attention back to the judges. “Drake Black shouldn’t be trying to defend anyone because history has proven time and time again that his judgement can’t be trusted. Drake has been romanced by the dubious demon Ash Anderson as an attempt to make him the prince of the Underworld, has been lied to and fooled by his own family who sit beside him now time and time again, his mother and grandfather were both sources of all evil and let us not forget the time he himself became the source.”
“Oh god this isn’t looking so good!” Pan told an equally worried Paul, Lacey and Cole as she looked at clearly infuriated Drake.
Drake stormed over to Dermot and launched his fist at the elder punching him straight in the face and causing the magic school headmaster to fall to the ground.
“We don’t condone violence in this court room!” All three judges shouted in unison.
“Yeah well that kind of got away from me.” Drake told the judges before he quickly vanished from the courtroom by their doing.
“Please Paul you’re going to have to take the stand after all you are the lawyer around here.” Cole pleaded with Paul.
24 Hours Earlier
Raven walked into the front entrance of the building for her law firm Halliwell and Turner holding a plastic tray containing two takeaway coffees in her hand with a big smile on her face as she walked over to the reception to greet her receptionist Patty Craft by handing her one of the coffees.
“You know you really should be getting me to do coffee runs Miss Turner after all I am your receptionist not the other way around.” Patty told her as she willingly accepted her coffee while sat behind the reception desk.
“Well I always like a coffee before starting work anyway so it’s only fair I pick one up for my favorite employee at the same time I mean you are the first face anyone sees when they walk in so there’s no point that face being missing because she’s off running after other people making them coffee when everyone is perfectly capable of making their own coffees.” Raven told her.
“About that Miss Turner I normally wouldn’t ask but I was wondering if I could finish an hour earlier today?” Patty nervously asked her boss. “My daughters are coming in from New York today and they rarely ever get time off together.”
“You mean your workaholic daughter Penny has finally got some time off being a detective in the big apple at the same time Rose is taking time off from studying at Columbia? That is a pretty big deal.” Raven replied with genuine excitement in her voice. “Of course, you can finish an hour early in fact you can half a half day with full pay so you can spend some time with your girls I know how precious family can be.”
“Are you sure Miss Turner?” Patty asked her, thrilled to get the time off. “You’re the best boss ever!”
“Please just call me Raven I feel like the two of us should be on first name basis by now.” Raven told her. “I mean here at Halliwell and Turner your practically family.”
Drake walked sneakily down the main hallway of magic school trying to rush his way to his office door after running a little late that morning only to make it right to his front door as Dermot orbed himself in front of the Halliwell hybrid.
“You’re late again Mr Black.” Dermot told him.
“Only by five minutes and as far as you know it could’ve been a charmed emergency.” Drake replied to his boss.
“Was there a charmed emergency?” Dermot asked to which Drake nodded to signal a no. “Then your late for no reason…again.”
“I’m sorry,” Drake apologized. “I’ll try my best to make sure it won’t happen again.”
“Good because the elders and I have put a lot of faith in you by giving you this position at magic school I’d hate to see your potential go to waste because of your tardiness.” Dermot advised the guidance counselor.
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Drake replied with a forced smile.
“I really don’t know what to say!” Pan said to Lacey as the two of them stood within an empty apartment located somewhere within San Francisco. “It just seems a little meh to me to be honest it doesn’t feel like it could be home.”
“Clearly this isn’t the one for us but there’s so many more on the viewing list yet I’m sure we’ll find the perfect home.” Lacey replied to her fianc.
“I know this should be an exciting time for us both and I’ve always wanted a place without siblings and ancestors popping in every two seconds but I’m really dreading having to tell Paul we’re moving.” Pan admitted to her. “He’s not going to take it well we’ve lived together all our lives and he loves that his whole family is final under one roof.”
“I understand that, but he’s got to let you go at some point the two of you can’t live together forever you both have to live your own life sooner rather than later.” Lacey told her. “Besides Drake and Lilah will keep him company it’s not like their going anywhere anytime soon.”
“You’re right you always are.” Pan replied before kissing Lacey. “But I’ll hold off on telling Paul until after we find the perfect place.”
“So, your named Raven because your mother used to turn you into one every time you did something to displease her?” Paul asked his business partner while she sat behind her desk in her office as he sat in the chair in front of her desk at Halliwell and Turner as the two of them ate salad during their lunch break. “As parenting goes that’s pretty bloody awful.”
“To be honest that was far from the worst parenting in the Underworld and I actually quite enjoyed being a raven sometimes I mean the flying made me feel free at a time when I felt imprisoned and getting to scare clueless teens was also a lot of fun.” Raven admitted before laughing to herself. “Thank god for horror culture always finding a way to amuse me.”
“Making people jump is probably the baddest thing you’ve ever done.” Paul joked with her.
“I’ve really missed this…I’ve missed you.” Raven said with sincerity.
“I’ve missed you too!” Paul replied before their lunch was interrupted by loud screams coming from people outside of their office.
Raven and Paul quickly rushed out of their office chasing the sound of the screams from various people as they passed reception and walked out into the parking lot outside of their law firm only to be left horrified to find a completely burned up corpse laying on the ground next to a car Raven instantly recognized as Patty Craft’s, the law firm’s number one receptionist.
Drake was sat behind his desk in his office at magic school typing away at his computer when he heard a knock at his door before his boss Dermot walked into his office.
“Okay you’ve literally just moaned at me about time keeping what’s next on your list to have a go at me for?” Drake asked him.
“Well actually I was hoping you could sit in with a meeting I’m having right now to make sure I’m not handling it with a biased view considering the incident happened within my class when I was teaching.” Dermot replied. “A student apparently thought it was okay to attack another.”
“Can’t say I can blame either one of them really having to listen to your lectures would turn anyone violent.” Drake mocked his boss before reluctantly standing up. “Of course, violence in school is never unacceptable but why can’t you handle this yourself? After all you are the boss around here.”
“Because it involves two demonic students and I have a feeling you’d throw a fit again if I handled it incorrectly so this way it saves us both a lot of time.” Dermot teased the guidance counselor with a wicked smile on his face.
“Does anyone actually like you here?” Drake wondered.
“Other than you people seem to love me.” Dermot responded with a laugh. “I’m very popular around here actually.”
“Yeah well Satan’s popular around certain circles too.” Drake taunted him.
After the police and coroners were called and took away what remained of Patty Craft, Raven, Paul and Lacey had found themselves sitting on a couch within the reception area of Halliwell and Turner which was now completely empty barring the three of them as Raven and Paul told everyone to go home following Patty’s untimely and horrific demise.
“My guess is some demon is trying to send one of you a message.” Lacey suggested to them both. “But considering we’re talking about a charmed one and a demon turned good the list could of possibilities could be endless.”
“Her daughters were coming in from New York today she never got to see them as often as she’d like, and she was so excited to have them both home for a few days.” Raven cried. “Penny is always busy with work and Rose is always busy studying that they’d never have enough time with Patty and now some monster has made it so these girls will never get another moment with their mother.”
“I know it’s awful Patty Craft was an amazing woman.” Paul told Raven as he reached out and held her hand. “The best receptionist we ever had I wish I got to know her better…I didn’t even know she had children.”
“I can’t remember the last time I’ve lost someone I knew I believe it was my father all those years ago if this is because of me if some demon has a vendetta against me then I’ll never forgive myself.” Raven told them both.
“You’re not to blame for any of this Raven even if it is some demon trying to get back at you that happens to us all the time.” Paul tried to reassure her while holding Raven’s hand tighter. “We will get justice for Patty and make whoever did this pay I promise you that.”
“I guess I’ll check in with the elders and find out what’s going on from them if they know anything.” Lacey said to Raven and Paul. “You guys try and sit tight until I’m back.”
Drake walked into Dermot’s office to find the two female students sitting on opposite ends of the headmaster’s couch. He quickly rushed over to his boss’ desk and sat down behind it on Dermot’s chair.
“How come he gets the comfier chair?” Drake mumbled to himself. “I’m so stealing this later.”
“Look Mr Black I didn’t mean to get violent but she kept saying the charmed ones thought they were so much more important than they actually were and so I argued with my first.” The redheaded student claimed.
“Hey, you’re the one who said charmed 2.0 has nothing on the original.” The brunette student snapped back at the redhead.
“What now?” Drake asked looking at them both, clearly unimpressed before going on to say. “There is absolutely no excuse for violence of any kind within magic school I would say or out of it, but sometimes folk need vanquished.”
“Fine,” The redhead sighed before turning to look at the brunette. “When I said the charmed ones were self-important, I meant Charmed 2.0 not the original charmed ones the originals rock.”
“Yeah, they do, don’t they?” The brunette agreed. “Prue’s my favorite.”
“I personally love Piper!” The redheaded student replied.
“Whether the two of you agree or disagree there’s no reason to answer an argument with your fists trust me when I say there are a lot of people in this life that are going to irritate you but punching them is never going to be the answer.” Drake educated them both.
“You mean like the way you stop yourself from knocking Mr McQueen’s lights out every time he reprehends you?” The redhead replied to him. “He seems to be a lot nicer to the other teachers around here.”
“I knew he was extra strict on me for something reason.” Drake agreed before returning himself back to the matter in hand. “The point I’m trying make is when someone says something you don’t like speak it out instead of going fist first and maybe just maybe you won’t wind up with detention again.”
“Well I think Mr McQueen’s got it hot for you!” The brunette suggested. “There’s nothing hotter in the library than demon/angel romance novels and you guys are like the real edition.”
“Okay I think I’m done here,” Drake changed the subject as he stood up from his chair. “You’re both getting detention every day after school for a week hopefully I won’t have to hand you anymore detentions in the future although if you suggest any romances with me and Mr McQueen again, I’ll give use detention for life!”
“I think I have theory on who might have done this Paul.” Raven told the Halliwell lawyer as the two remained sitting on a couch with the reception area of Halliwell and Turner. “I think she’s come back for me once again and it’s all my fault for believing she’d ever leave me alone.”
“Who do you think it is Raven?” Paul asked her.
“My mother Beth Turner she never did know how to let go of me or Cole and she specialized in burning her victims alive I mean sure she had another talents when it came to murder but when she wanted people to know who killed her victim she’d burn them like that.” Raven explained. “I haven’t seen her in so long I had hoped I was finally free…I guess I’m never going to be free from her.”
“We need to tell Cole straight away between the two of you, the elders and us we can figure out what to do to stop your mother and make sure she doesn’t hurt anyone else.” Pan told his fellow business partner.
“No this is my fault for not killing her all those years ago which means I must finish this one way or another.” Raven replied before kissing a shocked Paul. “If things don’t end well look after my brother.”
Before Paul had any chance to talk Raven out of whatever it was that she was planning she had already shimmered her way out of sight.
“Are you like everywhere now?” Drake asked Dermot as Dermot walked into his own office to see Drake sitting comfortably behind his desk and no students to be found.
“You do remember I sent you in here to deal with students not to take over my office, right?” Dermot asked him.
“Yes, I do…now.” Drake replied as he stood up from Dermot’s office chair. “I’ve delivered detentions to both students for a week and I think helped them bond over their love for the original charmed ones and their joined believes that neither me nor my father or aunt will ever live up to their legacy so you’re welcome.”
“I guess you’re continuing to prove yourself worthy of your job tittle…for now.” Dermot told him. “Long may it last.”
“Let me make myself perfectly clear Dermot,” Drake snapped as he stormed over to stand in front of the headmaster. “You can keep riding me as hard as you want but I’m not going to buckle under anyone’s pressure I’ve been through so much more than you could ever handle and I refuse to let some old man with a god complex make me quit now so if you want me out of here you’re going to have to fire me.”
Raven shimmered her way to different caves and locations within the Underworld relentlessly searching for her mother not stopping for long as she continue to search high and low for her twisted mother refusing to be scared of being caught by anyone as she vowed to seek revenge on Elizabeth Turner for all the crimes she had committed, finally coming face to face with her mother within one of the endless caves in the Underworld.
“Well if it isn’t one of my failures, you’re a very brave girl to come back here after all this time knowing everybody here wants you dead.” Beth told her daughter upon their family reunion.
“I can’t believe after all these years your still hurting people just to get to me!” Raven screamed at her mother. “You murdered that innocent woman just to spite me what kind of monster are you?”
“I’m a mother who simply wants her children to live up to their potential instead of continuing to disappoint me repeatedly.” Beth snapped back. “We are demons darling not pathetic humans and the sooner you learn this the better.”
“You need to leave me and my brother alone forever or I promise you I’ll break my no kill mission just to end you!” Raven warned her.
“Please you’re nothing but a disappointment you couldn’t kill anyone.” Beth cruelly mocked her daughter. “How about we test this little threat of yours?”
After a long day at work Drake found himself facing an even longer night at magic school following a list of reports that had been handed to him from his boss on students he needed to check up on leading to Drake calling on Cole to pick up Lilah to babysit while he continued working, refusing to let Dermot win in a battle he was convinced the elder had started to make Drake quit a job that despite his terrible boss he had found himself loving.
“Me allowing you an unsupervised visit with Lilah doesn’t mean we’re back to being besties again or anything it just means I’m willing to give you a second chance so try not to blow it again.” Drake told Cole while the two walked down the main hall of magic school with Drake pushing Lilah’s pram while Lilah was fast asleep in her seat.
“I promise no more family drama is going to get me betraying you again.” Cole promised him.
“Yeah, I’m done talking this to death so take my daughter for an hour and I mean an hour tops and then bring her back and god help me if you so much as…” Drake began to say before Cole interrupted him by kissing him on the lips much to Drake’s surprise.
Before Drake could even respond to Cole’s surprise act, he had grabbed a hold of the pram and shimmered away with Lacey just before a clearly panicked Raven shimmered herself in front of Drake.
“Drake I really need your help.” Raven told him.
“I’m beginning to think there’s some huge conspiracy going on right now to keep me here forever.” Drake said as he walked Raven into his office at magic school. “Sorry…please go ahead and tell me what you need.”
“My mother has returned and she’s killing people right left and center in some attempt to torture me and I would’ve went to Cole but he’s on recently back on side and I don’t know how he’ll react to our mother being back.” Raven explained to him. “I need to stop her somehow, but I’ve never killed before not even something as wicked as her.”
“Wow as revelations go that’s quite a big one to get my head around.” Drake admitted. “Don’t worry I’ve got your back no matter what you want to do with her.”
“Thanks, I just want her to be stopped once and for all so no more blood is on my hands because of her.” Raven told him.
“Raven we’re not to blame for our parents it’s something I had to learn myself you know with my mother being the source of all evil and everything. You’re not responsible for whatever your mother is doing but I can sure as hell help you stop her once and for all.” Drake reassured Raven.
“First you’re late to showing up and now you’re late to finishing I’m beginning to think you’re one confusing witch Mr Black.” Dermot said as he walked into Drake’s office before recognizing Raven straight away.
“Trust me I’m going to leave once I’m done the reports which I’ll do after helping my friend here so you can turn back around and mind your own business thank you very much Mr McQueen.” Drake snapped at his boss.
“Yeah that’s not happening Drake I’m going to need to speak to you in my office right now!” Dermot argued with his feisty employee.
“I will be there once I’m finished helping my friend.” Drake told his boss.
“My office now!” Dermot shouted before storming out of Drake’s office.
“I’m sorry about all this he’s turning into the first ever elder I’m going to vanquish,” Drake apologized to Raven. “I’ll be straight back and then we’ll vanquish your mum please just stay here for a minute.”
“You really do have quite the variety of people stopping by your office.” Dermot snapped at Drake as Drake met him within the main hallway of Magic School.
“Again, with this demon hating talk are you ever going to learn from this self-hatred you have for demons?” Drake argued with his boss. “I get you may have not been a big fan about me working here because I’m a demon but I’m a damn good one and guess what so is my visitor.”
“You’re so beyond naive is frustrating when are you going to learn to stop trusting everyone so bloody easily?” Dermot told him. “This naivety of yours is going to wind up harming one of our students.”
“I’m here to help all students the demonic ones especially and the only way for magic school to ever really change for the better is for you to either shut up and accept the changes or back the hell down!” Drake shouted at Dermot.
“You really think you know everything don’t you your so beyond frustrating it’s driving me crazy.” Dermot shouted back at him as he got up in Drake’s face, both completely furious with each other.
“No, it’s you who’s convinced you know everything and you’re the one driving me crazy!” Drake snapped back at his boss before he was once again surprised, this time by Dermot pulling his body in towards his own and passionately kissing him.
The two looked at each other with pure confusion in their eyes, unsure of what just happened between them while longing to kiss each other again until suddenly they heard a loud scream coming from Drake’s office a scream which Drake instantly recognized as Raven’s.
“How the hell did you get in here mother?” Asked a horrified Raven after her mother shimmered into Drake’s office holding a male student from magic school by the throat. “Please just let him go and I’ll do whatever you need me to do.”
“I remember a time when this school never let our kind in and now it seems by trying to be more inclusive of us, they’ve just opened themselves up for any old demon to talk in.” Beth replied to her daughter while continuing to strangle the student.
“Let the kid go mother, stop hurting these innocents and start hurting me instead I know that’s what you want.”
“But darling hurting others seems to hurt you so much more!” Beth told her daughter before setting the student on fire with her magical touch alone.
“No!” Raven screamed at the top of her lungs.
Present Day
Raven was sat on the witness platform as her court case withing the magical courtroom continued after Drake found himself kicked out of court while the three heads remained above them all judging the demon on trial as Raven tried to focus on Paul, Pan, Cole and Lacey who were sat at the defense table.
“The entire case presented here against the accused is nothing more than a case of prejudice within the magic community spearheaded by the headmaster of magic school nonetheless which only serves to prove if anything that Mr Dermot McQueen is far from the right person to be head of any school where demonic students reside.” Paul addressed the court after standing up from his chair and walking over to stand in the middle of the courtroom floor. “In over 100 years Raven has never harmed a single innocent and instead of believing a victim who is quite clearly under attack you all jump to this conclusion that she must be guilty because she’s a demon and demons are only good for killing people. Raven was right when she said she wouldn’t be here if she was a witch and for that reason alone you should all be deeply ashamed of yourselves.”
“Objection!” Dermot shouted as he rose up to his feet from behind the desk of the opposition. “Paul Halliwell is clearly a biased party who despite having a law degree is unwisely basing hi argument on emotion instead of evidence or logic.”
“No this entire court proceeding is based on zero evidence except from a corpse being found near the accused while the other corpse was found with the accused when she was having lunch with myself and therefore I’m here alibi for the first murder which was identical to the second which occurred in magic school.” Paul argued with Dermot before looking up at the three judges. “If change is really going to happen in the magical community then we have to be the change, the driving force to make it all happen.”
“Enough!” Raven shouted as she stood up from her seat and began walking over to Paul. “I may have never hurt an innocent life but as of today I can no longer say I haven’t claimed any lives.”
“Show us what you mean please Miss Turner.” One of the three judges asked her.
“Of course.” Raven agreed before a screen suddenly appeared to the right of the courtroom as they watched Raven’s mother kill the male student in front of Raven in Drake’s office at magic school completely burned the body before Raven returned the favour to Elizabeth Turner as she set her own mother on fire before Beth exploded and the screen disappeared along with the footage.
“You did the right thing Raven!” Cole told his sister as he stood up from his chair. “Our father would’ve been so proud of you.”
“You vanquished a demon who was killing innocents Miss Turner that makes you a hero in our eyes not a murderer.” One of the judges said to her.
“Today has honestly shown us of our own prejudices along with many others within the magical community.” Another judge stated while the three judges looked at Dermot.
“We thank you for your services Miss Turner and apologize for this trial ever having to take place.” The third judge apologised. “As for prejudices within Magic School we will be implementing some changes to ensure a brighter future for all students.
“We won!” Paul smiled as Lacey, Cole and Pan stood up to cheer before Paul hugged Raven.
“I’m not sure we did.” Raven replied to him.

“Whatever you do don’t try the airplane trick my little girl when eat whenever wherever but if you dare start playing with her food she gets in a right strop.” Drake warned his father as he walked into the kitchen of his family home to find his father Paul sat the table feeding Drake’s daughter Lilah who was placed in her highchair. “She bit my finger one time and I’m not convinced it was an accident.”
“How are you feeling about your first day at magic school?” Paul asked his son as he continued feeding his granddaughter, while Drake kissed his daughter on the forehead before sitting down at the kitchen table.
“Relieved to finally have a job and yet completely terrified by finally having a job.” Drake admitted. “I’m terrified their going to realize they hired the wrong man.”
“Drake they wouldn’t have hired you if they didn’t think you were capable of doing the job and as for character recommendations the elders are kind of all knowing.” Paul said trying to reassure his son as he finished feeding his granddaughter.
“Yeah I know it’s just new but hey change has been good for me so far I’m sure things will only get better from here.” Drake replied to his father.
“Speaking of change have you heard from a certain demon recently?” Paul wondered.
“Nope and as far as I’m concerned, I hope I never hear from him again.” Drake told him.
“It’s okay to be hurt by his betrayal I know you got quite friendly with him.” Paul said to his son.
“Look Cole Turner is nothing more than a blip on my now perfectly fine life and I’m not going to let him be anything more than that.” Drake claimed, as Paul feared his son was putting up a front.
“I’m not trying to interfere except I totally am.” Pan told her fiancé Lacey as the two of them stood upstairs in the attic of the Halliwell home looking through the book of shadows. “I just think if I speak to your brother and help him understand everything you two can finally be reacquainted.”
“I just can’t believe he got in touch with you instead of me I mean how does he even have your number?” Lacey wondered. “Besides I’m a detective although admittedly I had to quit that job after becoming a white lighter but still he should’ve came to me it’s not like I had to stay dead like other white lighters in fact nobody even knows I even died for those brief few weeks.”
“I’m sure he just needs a little help with something and who knows I meet even be able to find some way of getting Jake to come to our wedding.” Pan replied to her.
“I don’t know normally when my brother is in trouble, he’s in big trouble.” Lacey continued to worry. “I hope he’s not struggling with drugs again the one good thing about him being wrongly put in jail was it got him clean.”
“You shouldn’t always go to the worse case scenario it’s probably nothing.” Pan suggested, trying to ease her fiance's worries.
“Like you don’t always jump to the worse case scenario yourself.” Lacey joked with her before kissing Pan on the lips. “I’ll try not to overthink this too much.”
“Okay well I can’t really narrow down what kind of Egyptian demon we could be dealing with upon arrival, so I guess I’ll just have to wing it once you orb me there.” Pan said as she closed the book of shadows. “Luckily for me I know how to save the day with my bare hands.”
“Drake dumped him nowhere near Egypt why the hell would he wind up in Egypt of all places I mean I get it’s a beautiful country and if you’re one of those kind of people you’d want to tick it off your list but Jake’s never cared about that kind of stuff before.” Lacey said as she continued to worry what kind of trouble her brother was in.
“So, you’ve found yourself in a love triangle with a demon and a witch,” Drake replied to his 18 year old female student as he sat behind his desk in his office at magic school while the girl sat in front of his desk. “I can’t imagine your white lighter is happy about you dating either.”
“Yeah he just keeps telling me I’m too young like I don’t hear enough of that from my parents besides everyone just seems to hate demons no offense Mr Black.” The girl complained to her counselor.
“It’s true that good demons are definitely a minority, but I mean so are good humans and nobody can judge anyone for being who they are. The problem here isn’t the type of men your stuck between it’s the fact your stuck between them.” Drake explained to his student. “I was younger than you when I fell in love for the first time and it doesn’t matter what age you are whatever you are feeling is always real.”
“Thanks Mr Black it’s nice to hear somebody actually validate what I’m feeling instead of brushing me off.” The student thanked him. “Who do you think I should choose?”
“Honestly this isn’t a case where somebody can just give you the answer and everything’s suddenly fixed the only person you should be talking to right now is yourself.” Drake made clear to her. “Although trust is a pretty huge deal so if I can give you advice it would be pick the one you trust the most.”
“I guess you’re right I’m just going to need to work this one out alone.” The girl replied as she stood up from her chair. “Thanks Mr Black you’ve given me a lot to think about.”
“Please just call me Drake Mr Black makes me feel way too old especially considering I’m not that much older than you.” Drake told her as his first student of the day walked out of his office.
Lacey, Pan and Paul orbed into a scorching hot desert just outside of a large and ancient looking Egyptian pyramid all three curious as to how Lacey’s older brother Jake Morgan could’ve wound up in this location.
“How does somebody even get signal to send a text when your out here?” Paul asked them both as he looked around the seemingly endless desert.
“This whole thing just doesn’t sit right with me!” Lacey admitted.
“It’s fine we’ve been too far stranger places than this in our time actually I think it’s beautiful and I’m hoping we get to break into that pyramid.” Pan replied to them both with excitement in her voice. “I’m calling it Jake’s got in trouble with a mummy or maybe even an Egyptian god.”
“Sometimes you like this life a little too much!” Paul complained to his sister.
“I guess this is the part where I leave you both to it.” Lacey said before kissing her fiancé Pan. “Shout me the minute you need me…hopefully once you guys speak to him, he’ll want to talk to me.”
“You’re among one of the new demonic students around here aren’t you?” Drake asked his second student while he remained sat behind his desk in his office at magic school as his sixteen-year-old male goth looking student sat on the same chair as the student before him.
“Yeah.” The goth student mumbled.
“I’m guessing your parents weren’t exactly approving of you enrolling in Magic School I can’t imagine the process would’ve been easy.” Drake replied to him.
“No, they’ve spent lifetimes being evil and expected the same from me, but I knew early on that wasn’t the life I wanted for myself.” The student explained to his counselor. “After they found out about me attending Magic School my family disowned me in fact I barely got out of the Underworld with my life.”
“Wow that does sound like you’ve been through some pretty tough times already and yet you have this whole new world to try and adjust to without any parental guidance which is bound to be tough on anyone.” Drake sympathized with him. “Like you I went through some events in my own life where I had to adjust to a whole new world without the parents who raised me and it can get pretty overwhelming while you go through a long learning curve but I can honestly it does get better.”
“Did it get better for you?” The student wondered.
“Yeah it really did but that doesn’t mean it was easy and I’m afraid it’s not going to be easy for you either. It’s okay to be mad at everyone because everyone has let you down but it’s not okay to stay mad forever because they are people in your life who aren’t going to let you down and you deserve to have those people in your life without chasing them away out of fear.” Drake replied to him. “What you’ve already been through and continue to go through just by being at this school shows an incredible amount of strength and you should be extremely proud of yourself!”
“You really think so Mr Black?” The student responded with a sincere smile, clearly touched by Drake’s kind words.
“I never say things I don’t mean.” Drake said with a smile. “Now how is the accommodation around here and the other students?”
“It beats the Underworld but in fairness that wouldn’t be hard.” The goth student admitted.
“Well if you ever need to talk to someone or if anyone gives you trouble my door’s always open.” Drake told him.
After several meetings with students from all kinds of different varieties within the magical community Drake took it upon himself to check in on his daughter within the nursery at Magic School during his lunch break eager to spend some quality time with her only to be left horrified to walk in on Cole playing with his daughter Lilah in a room filled with other children and nursery teachers.
“What the hell are you doing at magic school?” Drake asked Cole after dragging him out into the hallway. “After all the crap you pulled you should definitely run it past me before you just decide to drop in to visit my daughter.”
“Lilah’s powers are growing and somehow she summoned me here I guess the little genius is missing me.” Cole told his former friend. “I miss her too.”
“I didn’t think about her missing you,” Drake said with a frustrated sigh. “Oh god I’m already failing as a father I can’t even tell when my daughter is missing someone.”
“Hey, don’t beat yourself up babies aren’t exactly the most communicative well not in a language we understand anyway.” Cole joked with a clearly unamused Drake.
“This isn’t some joke I introduced my daughter to a backstabbing demon that she’s clearly grown attached to.” Drake snapped at Cole before calming himself down. “Look I’m not going to stop you visiting Lilah but only at magic school and only when me or someone in my family are there to supervise you but if you so much as put one foot wrong with my daughter I’ll find a way to vanquish you in a way that even you can’t come back from.”
“Okay so there’s no obvious way into this pyramid which is good because it’d be no fun if we could just walk in.” Paul said excitedly to his sister Pan as they stood right in front of the Egyptian pyramid within an Egyptian desert. “Which means there’s definitely a secret pathway somewhere.”
“Somebody’s starting to buy into the Indiana Jones fantasy now.” Pan mocked her brother before raising her hands and trying to explode a part of the pyramid, only for nothing to happen. “Figures ancient pyramids made my creatures before our time would have anti-magic. Also, kind of grateful I didn’t just ruin a part of Egyptian history.”
Suddenly a sandstorm began to pick up as if from nowhere until wind began picking up the sand from the ground forming a man shaped out of sand alone.
“Something tells me you offended the pyramid.” Paul said in shock as he and Pan watched the sandman walk towards them as Pan attempted to explode the sand creature exploding its chest for a moment only for it to be reformed with more sand.
“I’m never watching another Indiana Jones movie again!” Pan shouted at her brother before a part of the pyramid suddenly opened to show Jake stood there signalling them to get in quickly which they wasted not time in doing exactly that, running into a pyramid which secret door quickly closed behind them.
“Is there some kind of family emergency again?” Drake asked Lacey after she orbed into his office at magic school to find himself sitting on his couch eating a sandwich.
“There’s definitely something going down but it’s not currently at emergency status just yet.” Lacey admitted to Drake and she sat down next to him before grabbing half of his sandwich and taking a bite. “I just wish I could be there too.”
“So, they’re on a power of two mission?” Drake asked his best friend. “If I wasn’t so focused on day one of this job I’d be offended.”
“Jake’s wound up in Egypt and sought out Pan’s help for something but didn’t reach out to me so I’ve left them to break the ice hoping he’ll want to see me after but knowing I can’t blame him if he doesn’t want to.” Lacey replied to him.
“Jake’s in trouble and instead of calling either of us it’s my aunt and father who’s on the rescue mission?” Drake said before scoffing to himself. “To be fair that sounds like a super awkward time that I’d rather not be a part of.”
“I just want him to get passed hating me so I can have my brother back after all these years I really do miss him.” Lacey told the Halliwell hybrid. “After dad’s death he’s the only other Morgan left.”
“Hey he’s with dad and Pan right now I’m sure now he’s had some time to adjust and has them as company he’ll soon see you had no free will when it came to putting him behind bars and he’ll finally bury that hatchet.” Drake reassured his friend. “He’s a good and understanding guy he will forgive you in time.”
“True plus you did bust him out of prison so that’s bound to score me some kind of brownie points.” Lacey replied before Dermot McQueen knocked on Drake’s office door and let himself in.
“I was just popping in to introduce myself I’m the headmaster at magic school Dermot McQueen.” He introduced himself before holding out his hand to shake Lacey and Drake’s, only for the two of them to be too focused on finishing their sandwich. “Did I hear right when I heard you busted someone out of prison?”
“The guy was innocent, and it was charmed related business.” Drake replied after finishing his sandwich and standing up to finally shake Dermot’s hand. “I don’t break people out of jail all the time.”
“I’m Lacey Morgan!” Lacey introduced herself as she stood up and placed what remained of her half of the sandwich on the coffee table. “I’m the charmed ones’ white lighter.”
“I see,” Dermot said as he shook Lacey’s hand before turning his attention back to Drake. “I’d like to see you in my office…alone.”
Paul, Pan and Jake walked through the tunnels of the Egyptian pyramids where the walls, statues and even the floor was filled with golds and all kinds of hidden ancient treasures before they walked into a large room filled with unspeakable kinds of treasures.
“I guess I now know why you came to Egypt.” Pan said to Jake, clearly believing he was on a treasure heist. “Trying really hard not to jump to conclusions considering you’ve already been wrongly convicted once before.”
“Well I’m going to come out and say it.” Paul told them both. “You awaken some kind of sand demon because of some fools treasure hunt mission, and you hit us up to save the day knowing we would because your Lacey’s brother and yet you don’t even contact your sister.”
“Hey, I’m a wanted criminal living life on the run for a crime I didn’t commit a guy gets pretty desperate for money when he has no choice but to keep running.” Jake snapped at Paul. “You and your family got me into this mess it’s only right your family gets me out of it!”
“It’s not going to be easy clearly you’ve awakened some ancient Egyptian curse by trespassing somewhere you don’t belong so we’re going to need to break that curse somehow or else this sand creature will just follow you wherever you go until it kills you.” Pan told her fiance's brother.
“It’s kind of hard working out what’s just myth and what has truth when you’re trying to get used to the knowledge of knowing magic exits.” Jake replied. “I should’ve known better, but I was getting kind of desperate.”
“In your defense most supposedly haunted or cursed places are just hocus pocus however unfortunately for you this one turned out to be true.” Pan told Jake making it clear he shouldn’t blame himself too much.
“So, I guess we either break this curse, vanquish the sand demon or both?” Paul suggested.
“If this is about my white lighter popping in to see me, I was told I was allowed visitors at all time I mean being a charmed one means there’s going to be the odd disruption around here.” Drake told Dermot after knocking on the headmaster’s door and walking into his boss’ office to find Dermot leaned up against his desk.
“Did you seriously tell one of our students that the charmed ones had his back if another student bothered him?” Dermot asked his new employee.
“Well I may have said something like that yes, but it was to a bullied student who just needed some help standing up for themselves.” Drake replied nervously.
“That same student got into a fight with a student witch, using your name as leverage.” Dermot told him. “When I was told your method would be a bit out there by the other elders, I had no idea you’d be causing fights with the students.”
“So, I guess their both being expelled now then?” Drake asked the magic school headmaster.
“The demonic student yes but not the student with I mean he was provoked by the demon after all and we can’t blame a witch for naturally clashing with a demon it’s kind of their destiny.” Dermot revealed to Drake, instantly making the Halliwell hybrid furious with his new boss.
“Witches and demons are only natural enemies because people like you have been telling them to be for centuries.” Drake snapped at his boss. “That student has literally been through hell and back and you want to throw him out for trying to defend himself from a witch who quite frankly is nothing but a bully. Your prejudice is standing in the way of true change around here and if you are even remotely a good person you will lift that expulsion and teach this school that bullying isn’t something that should be tolerated whether their victim is demon or not.”
“How dare you accuse me of being prejudice towards demons when I’ve allowed them into my school?” Dermot argued with the Halliwell hybrid.
“When you automatically expel the different kid without getting all the facts that’s being biased automatically assuming the other student is innocent just because they’re not a demon is prejudice.” Drake schooled the headmaster. “I was hired here to help this transition but how am I supposed to do that when you’re clearly the biggest thing in the way of this being a success?”
“I was warned you were just as outspoken as the charmed ones before you and you’d be twice the work.” Dermot admitted to Drake while rolling his eyes.
“Here’s what I suggest you do.” Drake demanded. “You expel nobody and instead put them in detention for about a month one week everyday after school where they learn about prejudices, violence and the good both demons and witches have done before presenting their information to you at the end of the month with a glowing presentation. Then you arrange your own school seminars making it clear to everyone prejudices or hate of any kind will not be tolerate here!”
“You’ve got some mouth on you…you must really care about these kids already and it’s only been a day.” Dermot told his newest employee.
“I was hired by you and the other elders because this school needed me and I can see why but fire me now if you think you change my approach because I’m never going to agree just for the sake of it whether your my boss or not.” Drake made himself clear.
“I like your punishment idea better than mine it seems more beneficial to both students and you’re right about treating them fairly I guess I do have some prejudices to overcome if demons are to find safe haven within these walls.” Dermot reluctantly admitted.
“Wow I thought for sure I was going to get fired right here right now.” Drake laughed nervously.
“Oh, I’m still tempted,” Dermot teased him. “Did you really give a student a leaflet about safe sex?”
“I may have handed out a few leaflets today but only to the students who are clearly having sex I’d rather them be safe than wind up knocked up.” Drake explained himself.
“Makes sense,” Dermot laughed at Drake. “But where did you get the leaflets from?”
“I may or may not have wrote several leaflets concerning many issues that my daughter may come across growing up and I just made copies of the sex talk one for my first day here just in case it was needed which it clearly was.” Drake admitted to his new boss.
“I don’t understand…why make leaflets for years in advance especially when a five-minute talk will just suffice when it comes to it?” Dermot wondered.
“In case I’m not around to speak to her…being a charmed one doesn’t allow for many happy endings and I just want to be prepared for any outcome to ensure my daughter has the best life possible.” Drake admitted. “I don’t want her to have to go through what I did.”
“Okay we cast a lightning storm spell so that the lighting hits the sand demon and turns it into glass allowing me to then explode the glass?” Pan suggested as she, Paul and Jake stood within the tunnels of the Egyptian pyramid.
“Not a bad idea unless you picture us all ditching actual lightning from striking us while trying to vanquish a demon.” Paul replied with great sarcasm.
“I should’ve just have bit the bullet and called Drake at least he could’ve teleport-ed me somewhere.” Jake complained.
“Oh, I’m so sorry that we’re taking our time to work out how best to save your sorry ass!” Pan snapped at her fiance's brother.
“You’re right I should be more thankful that you guys came it’s just a little hard seeing two people whose family literally destroyed my own.” Jake explained to them both. “I know neither of you played in part in any of it, but it still angers me.”
“Lacey misses you she’s still your family!” Pan told Jake. “I know it’s complicated but what she did to you she only did because she was under a spell.”
“My dad’s dead and Lacey and Drake got all those years with him while I was in jail and then more time when I had to go on the run.” Jake snapped. “I’m barely even living just surviving all because Drake killed his own parents and your family put all the blame on me!”
“Drake never meant to kill his parents in that fire it was an accident and the minute he learned you were innocent he broke you straight out of jail.” Paul explained to Lacey’s brother. “What my mother did to you and your sister is unforgivable but that’s on her neither Lacey nor Drake are to blame for any of it.”
“Yeah I get that I do, and I want to be a good guy and forgive and forget but you all get to go on with your lives while I have no-one and nowhere to call home.” Jake admitted to them both.
“I’m so sorry we haven’t been working harder on clearing your name I guess we all kind of got swept up with Lacey dying, then Drake’s mum dying and let’s not forget Drake dying himself.” Pan mumbled while apologizing to her fiance's brother.
“When did Lacey and Drake die?” Jake asked her in complete shock by what she had revealed to him.
“Don’t tell me you got fired after one day? That’s a record even for you Drake.” Lacey joked with Drake as he walked into his office at magic school to find Lacey sitting back on his sofa.
“Surprisingly not,” Drake laughed before walking over to his friend and sitting down beside her. “Despite having another major bitch fit…I don’t know why I keep blowing up like that.”
“Because you’re trying too hard to maintain perfection you have been since the moment you became a dad and I get it after the shit we’ve both been through that you’d want everything to be perfect for Lilah but it’s never going to be perfect nothing ever is.” Lacey told her best-friend. “You do so well in crisis mode because you’ve been stuck there half your life but now you need to learn how to function when everything isn’t going to hell.”
“You’re right,” Drake admitted reluctantly before taking a big breath. “You should go to your brother and speak to him I think the only way either of you are ever going to heal this rift between you is by speaking face to face.”
“Are you sure me just showing up won’t just make him even more angry with me?” Lacey asked.
“Your statement put him to jail for a crime I committed I’m fairly certain he can’t get any angrier with us.” Drake joked. “Clearly the only way is up from here Lace.”
“Okay we could cloak the pyramid, so it’s never found again but then again that only really helps us once we’ve found a way out of here without being killed by a sand demon.” Pan said to Jake and Paul as the three of them remained within the tunnels of the Egyptian pyramid.
“So, I decided to not wait for an invite and just show up.” Lacey told the three of them after orbing into the pyramid.
“So much for your magic proof theory.” Paul taunted Pan.
“Lace…it’s been a long time.” Jake replied to his sister while walking towards her. “You look good for being dead and everything.”
“Yeah being a white lighter does kind of suit me.” Lacey laughed.
“Well you were always Drake’s bodyguard makes sense your now an undead bodyguard to his whole family.” Jake joked before hugging his sister. “I forgive you.”
“You do,” Lacey gushed while hugging her brother tighter. “I’m so sorry for everything I’m just so glad to see you again Jake.”
“Okay not to be the one to break up a family reunion but can we get the hell out of here so I can get to the book of shadows and break a sand demon curse?” Pan asked her fiancé and her fiance's brother, having seen enough of the Egyptian pyramid.
“I’m sorry for what I said to you last time I saw you.” Cole apologized to his sister after shimmering into her office at Halliwell and Turner law to find Raven sat behind her desk typing away on her laptop. “You’re not a disgrace you’re an inspiration I keep making these same mistakes and never learning from them. You were 100% right in siding with the Halliwell’s but please don’t give up on me just yet sister.”
“I suppose considering we’re the only family either of us have left declaring to disown you was a little hasty.” Raven admitted as she closed her laptop and looked up towards her brother.
“Does that mean your forgiving me once more?” Cole asked with a cheeky smile before sitting down in front of his sister’s desk.
“It means you’re my brother and as your sister it’s my duty to help you on your path to redemption and forgiveness.” Raven explained to him. “Which means it’s my duty to help stop you from facing the rest of eternity completely and utterly alone but I’m warning you Cole this is your very last chance!”
“Little Lilah summoned me to her nursery at magic school today because she missed me because in her eyes, I’ve only ever been a good guy and I want her to grow up to continue believing that.” Cole admitted to his sister. “Drake’s unbelievably allowing me to stay in her life and I’m going to make sure he doesn’t regret that decision.”
“That’s good brother I’m glad for you I really am.” Raven replied with sincerity. “I know losing our father scarred us both but we’re still a family and if we’re lucky one day that family may extend in time.”
Drake walked out of his office immediately closing and locking his door behind him before turning around to find his new boss Dermot orbing himself in front of the Halliwell hybrid as the two met once more, this time in the main hallway of magic school.
“If you have another complaint to make can you at least wait until tomorrow because that’s me finished for the day.” Drake said to his boss.
“Unless you have a charmed emergency then you’re not finished just yet because I need help preparing this seminar that you came up with.” Dermot told the new magic school guidance counselor.
“I’d totally be convinced you were some evil demon headmaster if you weren’t a bloody elder.” Drake moaned at the elder while rolling his eyes at him.
“Now Drake isn’t that just the tiniest bit prejudice?” Dermot mocked him with a smile on his face. “I mean stereotyping someone as a demon just because they irritate you sounds a bit prejudice to me.”
“Well played Mr McQueen,” Drake replied with a reluctantly sigh. “I suppose I can stick around a little longer I mean the nursery’s open 24/7 so I suppose I can help with this seminar.”
“Good.” Dermot replied. “And you can call me Dermot.”
“I’m sorry we haven’t managed to clear your name yet Jake it’s been a lot adjusting to not being alive while everyone else still believes I am.” Lacey said to her brother as the two stood in a hotel room somewhere in France. “Also, I had to quit my job due to the fact that being a white lighter is full time job.”
“Yeah I’m never going to get used to the fact my sister is now a white lighter and my ex is a demon/witch hybrid.” Jake scoffed.
“It’s a lot to take in I mean Drake took a long time to adjust to all this and so did I, but life is definitely more interesting now and I kind of love the madness.” Lacey admitted to her brother.
“I really can’t believe after everything Drake and his family has done to us, you’re still his dutiful sidekick after all these years.” Jake snapped at her.
“I know you’re still getting used to all this but you loved Drake once and both me and dad have always considered him family not to mention the fact I’m marrying Pan and I really want you to be happy for us all.” Lacey told him while defending her best-friend and the Halliwell’s.
“Drake stopped being family when his actions put me behind bars when his family’s magic made me serve time for a murder, I didn’t commit…a murder Drake committed.” Jake said, making his feelings very clear. “His grandmother stole everything from us both and yet you’re still running around after him like you did in high school. Lacey, I love you, but I can’t be a part of the lives of a family who are the reason I’m on the run and my dad is dead which means you have to choose between them or me.”
“Jake my fiancé and her brother just dropped everything to come and rescue you!” Lacey argued with him. “They’re not the enemies here you should see the amazing things they do with their magic the innocents they save by taking down every evil they face.”
“That family are the reason I got myself in danger in the first place because I wouldn’t be doing any of this if I could go back home not that I’d even want to know that dad’s gone.” Jake said continuing his argument with his sister. “You’re either a Halliwell or you’re a Morgan but I sure as hell won’t be calling any Halliwell my family.”

“I can’t believe that you’ve actually found a way to stalk my afterlife.” Drake moaned at Ash Anderson as the two of them stood within desert like land that seemed never-ending. “Are you determined to plague me for the rest of eternity?”
“It just so happens your grandfather killed me not long after he killed your mother, I guess the joke’s on him though because he’s not only dead, but he’s been swallowed whole.” Ash revealed to Drake.
“What do you mean by swallowed whole?” Drake asked him before noticing a giant snake like demon approaching the two of them slowly opening it’s mouth preparing to swallow them both so in an act of survival Drake pushed Ash into the snake’s giant mouth causing the snake to swallow the demon in one gulp as Drake began running for his life.
Drake didn’t get far before he tripped up over a loose rock and fell into the sand but before the giant snake could get near him Cole shimmered in front of the Halliwell hybrid and began summoning and throwing fireball after fireball until the gigantic snake eventually caught on fire and exploded before their eyes.
“Let me guess you killed that thing because you want the prize of taking me down.” Drake said to Cole as he rose to his feet. “Well I got news for you just because my powers don’t work here doesn’t mean I’m not going to be able to kick your ass.”
“You sure didn’t look so kick ass when you were running from that giant snake.” Cole replied, mocking Drake who responded by high kicking Cole in the face forcing Cole to fall to the ground.
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you!” Drake told him just before Cole grab a hold of Drake’s leg forcing him to fall onto the ground as well as the two half demons found themselves tumbling around in the sand trying to claim dominance over the other before Drake eventually climbed on top of Cole. “Give me one good reason I shouldn’t kill you right here.”
“Because I’m already dead even more so than you!” Cole laughed before flipping Drake over, so he was now on top of the Halliwell hybrid. “I was sent here by the Halliwell’s to help you get out of this place.”
“Forgive me if I’m not a big believer on that one.” Drake scoffed.
“I was married to your great-aunt Phoebe Halliwell.” Cole revealed to him while continuing to pin Drake down in the sand with his own body.
“You’re Cole Turner,” Drake laughed as Cole climbed off Drake and stood up before holding out his hand and helping Drake onto his feet. “I’ve heard stories about the demon Balthazar who stole the charmed one’s heart both in the Halliwell Manor and in the Underworld.”
“So, does this mean you’re going to trust me and stop trying to fight me?” Cole asked Drake.
“Yeah trust is something I’m not particularly big on, but I’ll promise to at least stop fighting you until we’re out of this place.” Drake replied.
One Year Later
Pan stood behind the bar in an empty P3 working the books for the club as she wrote away into her journals and typed away on the calculator until she was soon interrupted by Lacey orbing into the club.
“Hey honey,” Pan said as she learned over the bar and kissed Lacey on the lips. “I told you to start using the door.”
“Doors are seriously overrated besides it took me long enough to get used to the orbing I kind of like being able to use it as often as possible.” Lacey replied.
“So, go on and tell me what’s the reason behind this shock visit if it’s a demon attack, I’m not doing any hunting today.” Pan told her newly restated white lighter and newly rekindled lover.
“I’m not here about anything demon related it’s been rather quiet on that front lately I actually popped by to see when we were going to his grave?” Lacey wondered. “I’ve got a bunch of flowers back at the Manor.”
“We could go right now if you’d like?” Pan suggested to her girlfriend before taking a moment. “I can’t believe he’s already been gone a year.”
“I was hoping we could convince Paul to visit Drake’s grave he hasn’t been there since the funeral and I really think getting him to visit again will help his grief.” Lacey told Pan.
“I don’t think anything is going to help Paul with his grief except summoning Drake himself and it’s still too soon for that.” Pan replied with a sad sigh. “I just wish there was some way of bending the rules just so we could say a proper goodbye to him, but I guess we should count ourselves lucky that we’ll get to see him again one day.”
“You’d think with Quinn getting his dream job as an elder following the vanquish of both the source of all evil and the triad that those would be one of the new perks.” Lacey said, revealing Quinn’s new promotion.
“We haven’t exactly seen Quinn since Drake’s funeral I think it’s too hard for him to be around us after everything and I don’t blame him.” Pan replied. “I hope Quinn at least gets to see Drake.”
“Come in!” Paul shouted while sitting behind his desk in his office at Stevens and Summers law firm typing away only to be left stunned by who walked into his office.
“It’s been far too long since I last heard your voice Paul.” Luke Adams said as he closed his son’s office door behind him upon entering Paul’s office.
“Dad.” Paul said in shock as he rose to his feet.
Drake and Cole managed to escape the wasteland rather quickly but found themselves trapped within the ancestral plane as Cole’s teleportation went wrong leaving them with no clue on how to get out of the ancestral plane which was filled with demons, creatures and monsters that saw the half demon/half witch hybrid and the half/demon/half human hybrid as their number one targets.
“You really must start wising up and learning when we’re being lured into traps.” Drake told Cole as he held out his hand and pulled Cole up from the bins in an alleyway in the ancestral plane’s version of San Francisco.
“Their always sucker attacking me you never seem to be hit with any energy balls to the back.” Cole complained. “Clearly they prefer attacking me.”
“I guess racking up a demonic kill count almost as large as the original charmed ones makes you a prime target around here.” Drake explained while picking of a banana skin from Cole’s top while laughing at the demon/human hybrid.
“Okay you are finding this way too funny!” Cole replied to the witch/demon hybrid.
“I must admit being trapped in the ancestral plane is a lot more fun when you’re not doing it solo.” Drake said with a sincere smile. “Thanks for trying to rescue me even though you totally suck at it.”
“Remind me after this to never do another favour for your family.” Cole told him.
Drake stood in the ancestral plane’s version of the Halliwell Manor’s attic scanning through the book of shadows while Cole stood beside him looking bored and unamused by Drake’s frantic search for answers.
“You have searched that book a hundred times looking for a way out of this place and we never find anything.” Cole moaned at Drake.
“Is optimism just not a demonic thing because I’ve got to admit I was never really optimistic for half of my life but now I’m dead optimism is all I’ve got.” Drake replied as he continued flipping through the pages of the book of shadows. “I was hoping the ancestors would do their thing and add a new entry by now or at the very least my dad and aunt Pan would’ve written some way out of here by now…if any of them even know where we are.”
“Listen I get this place isn’t the best place to be but it’s still better than the wasteland so if you wanted a pep talk there you go that’s me being as optimistic as one demon can be.” Cole told Drake. “Maybe we should stop trying to find a way to escape this place and start trying to find out who or what trapped us here in the first place?”
“Hmm that’s not entirely a terrible plan,” Drake responded with a sarcastic smirk. “Did you really come up with it all by yourself?”
“I can’t work out whether your most like Piper, Paige or Prue.” Cole scoffed.
“Mum said you were killed by a demon.” Paul told his father as he and Luke now sat on the couch in Paul’s office at Stevens and Summers law firm.
“Yes, well your mother always had a tendency for bending the truth to fit her narrative.” Luke admitted to his son. “The truth is our marriage fell apart after Patience went missing and we never really recovered from losing her.”
“I don’t get it if that’s true then where have you been this entire time?” Paul asked his estranged father. “The last time we saw you was when we were just kids how could you just leave your children like that?”
“Because I was a coward, I’ve always been a coward and I knew there was no way I could protect you or your sister from being a Halliwell.” Luke explained to him. “If I could’ve taken you and Pan with me when I left and spared you from this life then I would’ve but sadly I could only protect one child.”
“What do you mean when you say you could only protect one child?” Paul asked as he stood up from his chair and began speculating. “Please don’t tell me you kidnapped your own daughter.”
“I had no choice especially when it turned out she had the power of telekinesis the only thing worse than being a Halliwell is being a charmed one.” Luke revealed as he stood up from the couch. “I was too late with you and Pan, but Patience still had a chance at a normal life a chance at being normal. You of all people should understand what I did I mean you did the same for your son.”
“What I did was completely different.” Paul snapped at his father. “I didn’t make the child’s mother believe her daughter was dead, I never took a child from his siblings and I never tore apart an entire family.”
“I’m sorry I really am,” Luke apologised to his son. “But you’ve got to understand this was at a time people were dying right left and center in your family I never slept a day constantly worrying about the two of you and then Patience came along and I seen an opportunity to spare her from all this and I’m sorry but I took it.”
“We thought we lost our little sister do you have any idea how that messes with kid’s minds?” Paul asked his father. “Where is she now?”
“I gave her to a real nice family who knew about magic and how to protect themselves from it.” Luke revealed. “She’s grown up to be an amazing, normal and safe woman hidden from the entire magical community.”
“Including us dad.” Paul snapped at him. “Including her real family.”
“Tell me son if it was Drake, if you could protect him like I protected Patience would you have done anything differently to me?” Luke asked his son.
“That’s not fair…” Paul replied before sitting back down on the couch and sighing. “But you’re right if I could’ve spared Drake from dying like he did like everyone in our family does I would’ve destroyed everything in my path just to make sure he was safe.”
“Sometimes being a parent means putting your child above all else even your entire family.” Luke admitted as he sat back down next to his son.
“Why are you here after all this time?” Paul asked his father. “Today of all days.”
“Because I never made my grandson’s funeral because I found out too late and I couldn’t be there for you or Pan all these years, but I want to try and make things right now…if I can.” Luke told his son.
“I think it’s a little late for all that now.” Paul replied.
“Don’t you remember the whole talk we had about knocking before walking into my room?” Drake asked Cole as Cole walked into the ancestral plane’s version of his bedroom in the Halliwell Manor where Drake was sat on a chair.
“I’m sorry but considering I have some good news I figured you’d forgive me for not knocking.” Cole replied to Drake as Drake stood up to face him. “I found the demon responsible for trapping us here which means once we get to vanquishing, we can get you back to the land of the living.”
“Wow you’re right that is good news,” Drake said while in shock. “Where do you go once you drop me off back home?”
“We’re I’ve been for a long time now everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.” Cole revealed to him.
Pan opened the front door of the Halliwell Manor to be left stunned to find a baby girl placed within a basket in the foyer of her home fast asleep.
“Lacey!” Pan shouted as she closed the front door behind her, instantly waking up the baby and causing her to cry forcing Pan to quickly pick up the baby and begin rocking her back in forth to try and calm the baby.
“Where did you get the baby from?” Lacey asked as she orbed into the foyer before smiling away at the baby. “She’s so adorable!”
“I’m used to all kinds of demons and creatures just randomly showing up around here but babies this is a whole other level.” Pan replied to Lacey. “What the hell is going on?”
“Don’t look at me I’m as confused as you are although I must admit babies are way more adorable than demons.” Lacey said as she walked over to Pan and the baby and began cooing away at the little girl.
“Okay can you stop being so bloody broody right now and go see the elders or the police go see whoever.” Pan ordered Lacey. “Whoever we’re meant to inform when a baby randomly shows up in your home.”
“I’m thinking I should see the elders just in case this little bundle of joy is part of the magical community.” Lacey responded to Pan while continuing to play with the baby girl before giving a reluctant sigh. “I suppose I’ll see you soon little one oh yes I will.”
“Yeah just say goodbye to the baby and not me.” Pan moaned after Lacey orbed away only to be met by the baby crying, clearly preferring Lacey’s company to Pan’s much to Pan’s own horror.
Drake and Cole blinked their way on top of the ancestral plane’s version of the Golden Gate Bridge to find the demon Morgana stood waiting for them with a sinister smile on her face.
“I had a feeling the two of you would work things out sooner or later although admittedly it’s been a lot longer than expected.” Morgana told them both.
“Hey, we’ve only been here a few days!” Drake said in defense of him and Cole.
“Time works a little differently on the astral plane, but I guess you have to be here a little longer before you realize that.” Morgan replied.
“Shall we get to vanquishing her already?” Cole asked Drake.
“Vanquishing me would only trap you both in the ancestral plane forever.” Morgana told them both before Drake could answer Cole. “The only way either of you are ever going to get out of here is if you take me with you.”
“Well that depends on whether we’re helping a good demon, or a bad demon go free.” Drake wondered.
“Really?” Cole said to Drake with disapproval in his eyes.
“I refuse to just assume a demon is evil just because their a demon.” Drake argued with Cole.
“I’m not a demon I’m a witch I believe you’ve heard of my immortal enemy Merlin before?” Morgana asked them both.
“Shut up!” Drake said in both shock and excitement. “I used to watch a television show about you guys and spoiler alert you were my favorite even though you did kill a bunch of people they totally had it coming. Wait is all that historically accurate? Oh god I have so many questions.”
“Are you always this much of a nerd?” Cole asked Drake. “Let’s try and not lose our heads over historically evil figures.
“Just because it says in a book somewhere that I’m evil doesn’t necessarily make it so you of all people should know that Balthazar after all there’s a lot more to you than just your demonic nature.” Morgana told Cole.
“Look I’m sick of this place,” Drake admitted to Cole. “If she turns out to be evil, we’ll just kill her after we get back to the land of the living.”
“I don’t know Drake,” Cole replied while looking Morgana up and down. “She’s already trapped us here god knows what she’ll try to do next.”
“Well I think your being very reasonable if I do say so myself Mr Black.” Morgana agreed with Drake.
“You know you’re not so cranky once you’ve been fed kind of like me to be.” Pan said to the baby girl she had placed in an old highchair while feeding her some baby food in the kitchen of the Halliwell Manor. “Thank god there’s been like a hundred babies in this house over the years and my family are real hoarders and thankfully for you I’m good at conjuring up literally anything with a few rhymes.”
“Pan you will not believe who just walked into my…” Paul began to say as he walked into the kitchen only to be left shocked to see his younger sister feeding a baby girl much to his own shock. “Okay maybe you should reveal your news first.”
“Well first of all I’d like to reveal that this is not my baby.” Pan told her brother as she began cleaning up the baby girl after feeding her. “I’m not sure whose baby she is exactly I’m still waiting on Lacey to find out.
“You mean some heartless person just abandoned this little beauty.” Paul replied as he walked over, picked up the baby and began fussing over her making the little girl laugh at him. “That’s just not acceptable maybe we should vanquish your parents?”
“So, who walked into your office today?” Pan asked her brother having to wave to get his attention off the baby.
“Our dad walked into my office turns out he’s not dead and neither is our sister Patience apparently he kidnapped her and did a runner years back while just allowing us to believe she’s dead.” Paul replied to his sister before sniffing the air and turning his attention back to the baby. “I think someone’s did a dirty.”
“Hold up not only is our father alive but so is our little sister?” Pan asked in shock by Paul’s revelations. “Where is she? Where is he? God why have our parents got to be literally the worst parents in history?”
“Yeah all those questions came to mind when he randomly showed up at my office too.” Paul admitted to Pan while he began rocking the six-month-old baby back and forth. “Strange thing is once I got passed the rage, the loss and the confusion I kind of found myself understand why he did what he did.”
“Okay this is officially far too much for me to take in including your coolness with it all.” Pan admitted to her brother. “Where is our father now?”
“At some hotel in the city I’ll give you the address once I’ve changed this one’s diaper.” Paul told his sister before Lacey orbed into the kitchen.
Drake, Morgana and Cole shimmered into an alleyway within the streets of San Francisco having returned from the land of the living no longer trapped in the astral plane.
“Well would you look at what we just achieved?” Morgana said to them both with a smug smile on her face. “I look forward to seeing you both again very soon.”
“Okay I’m beginning to think you may have been right about her.” Drake said to Cole after Morgana disappeared within a gust of wind.
“I did warn you working alongside her is going to bite us both in the ass probably sooner rather than later.” Cole replied. “But for now, I better be off and leave you to your family reunion.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to stick around for a while I mean I kind of like bickering with you and I know it will piss off my family which is always a bonus.” Drake suggested with a smile on his face.
“Are you trying to say you like me and want to be my friend?” Cole asked with a sarcastic tone in his voice.
“Well you seem like a lot of work and I know I’m a lot of work maybe we should form a friendship out of all this work?” Drake asked the half demon/half human hybrid.
“I’ll think about it.” Cole replied before shimmering away, leaving Drake alone in the alleyway.
“Why didn’t you tell us before you left San Francisco that you were carrying Drake’s child?” Paul asked Cindy as he walked into the rundown Devilish Delights that had clearly been closed for some time as he noticed Cindy stood behind the bar nursing a glass of champagne.
“Learning I was pregnant from your grandmother was quite the shock for me I’ve never had a maternal bone in my body and then suddenly I was sharing my body with this little creature in my demonic wound.” Cindy admitted as she took a drink of her champagne. “Then everything got crazy around here with Drake becoming the source and then dying I just had to get away and work things out for myself.”
“Okay I get not telling us but why choose to suddenly drop the baby off with us after keeping her a secret for so long?” Paul asked as he walked over to Cindy and sat down at the bar.
“Well once I got my head around it all and after giving birth to Lilah, I realized I could never be the kind of parent she’d need in her life or at least that’s not who I can be for now.” Cindy explained to her baby’s grandfather.
“You called her Lilah?” Paul asked with a sincere smiled.
“Yeah Lilah Eve Black.” Cindy revealed her daughter’s name. “Lilah and Eve after his mothers and Black after him. I figured it was a great way of honoring all three of them.”
“Are you sure you want us to take her in? I mean she’s my granddaughter and of course I will do whatever’s best for her, but I don’t believe you’re not what’s best for her.” Paul told her.
“I do love the little kid I do but I’m still learning this humanity thing out and I shouldn’t be anyone’s parent until I do.” Cindy admitted to the eldest Halliwell sibling. “She needs a stable home with lots of love and support I can’t have her winding up as messed up as my own family.”
“I’ll let you in on a little secret Cindy nobody whether demon or human believes their going to be a good parent the first time around when I gave up Drake I convinced myself it was for his best interest but clearly I was wrong.” Paul told Cindy honestly. “I’ll take her for now but know this I will never ever stop you from seeing your daughter because there is nothing worse than a parent not having their child.”
“Thank you,” Cindy said to Paul as she put her glass on the counter and reached out to hold his hand. “I’m not who she needs me to be right now but I’m going to work on that I promise.”
Paul placed a sleeping Lilah laid down into the cot placed in the nursery within the Halliwell Manor, the same nursery his uncles, his mother, himself and his sisters once used to sleep in when they were all babies although a few changes had been made to the room over the years.
He looked down at a sleeping Lilah with pure adoration in his eyes before turning around to be left completely shell shocked to see his son Drake stood in front of him.
“Yeah I worked out I’ve been dead like a year but it’s all good I’ll get the cleaners and the elders onto the job as quickly as possible.” Drake said to his father who quickly rushed over and hugged his son.
“I thought you were dead,” Paul cried. “I kept trying to summon you, but they wouldn’t let me. I’ve missed you so much!”
“Turns out Aunt Paige intervened during my death and place me in the demonic wastelands which I escaped thanks to a family friend let’s just say but then we wound up stuck in the astral plane for a while.” Drake explained to his father as he broke of their hug, his father remained speeches before hugging his son once again before he noticed Lilah sleeping in her cot. “Hold up did you wind up having another kid?”
“No, she’s not my daughter she’s my granddaughter.” Paul revealed to a stunned Drake as he hugged his son tight. “She’s your daughter.”
“How did it go seeing your father again after all these years?” Lacey asked her girlfriend as Pan walked into the living room and sat down next to her. “It couldn’t have been easy especially considering you thought he was dead all this time.”
“My dad’s not dead my sister’s not dead it turns out the only one who is actually dead is Drake.” Pan said with a sigh of sadness. “I miss that little brat so much!”
“Well in that case you should probably go upstairs.” Lacey suggested with a large smile on her face.
“You mean this little baby is mine and Cindy’s daughter?” Drake asked Paul as the two of them stood over Lilah’s cot watching Drake’s daughter sleep away. “I’m a father.”
“Yeah and I’m a grandfather.” Paul replied as he wrapped his arm around his son’s shoulders. “Today started out as the worst but now I have my son back and I’m a grandfather. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am in this moment.”
“Oh, I have a feeling I could.” Pan said with a smile on her face as she walked into the nursery causing Paul and Drake to turn around to face her.
“Hey apparently I’m a dad now so that makes you a great-aunt right.” Drake replied before Pan rushed over and hugged her nephew.
“I’m so glad you’re back I’m not even going to question it.” Pan cried as she hugged her nephew even tighter. “However, about this whole great-aunt thing aunt Pan will do just fine thanks,”
“It’s nice to have you back Drake.” Lacey greeted her best friend as she walked into the nursery and shared a smile with him. “I hoped you’d find some way of coming back to us.”
“Looks like the old team is all back together now with the new addition of my beautiful granddaughter.” Paul said with pride as he placed his hand back on Drake’s shoulder.
“Wait a minute…where’s Quinn?” Drake asked the room noticing how quiet they all quickly became.
“When I learned what Paige did I was so thrilled to know you weren’t gone forever and then a whole year went by and I was beginning to lose hope…” Quinn said as Drake blinked his way on top of the Golden Gate Bridge to meet the new elder. “I’m so happy you’re back!”
“Yeah I’ve heard that a lot today…I’m glad to see you again too.” Drake replied as he walked towards Quinn. “I’m happy you got to be an elder I know that was one of your dreams.”
“I should’ve never accepted this position I should’ve waited for you!” Quinn told Drake as he reached out and held Drake’s hands while tears formed in the elder’s eyes. “I was so lost when you went away, I thought I’d never survive the pain.”
“It’s okay you’re not the only one going through changes.” Drake cried. “I’m a dad now which I’m still getting my head around.”
“I know I heard you’re going to be an amazing father.” Quinn said with a sincere smile, tears still falling from his eyes. “We could still make things work between us it would just be like a really long distant relationship.”
“No, it won’t be the same,” Drake replied as he let go of the elder’s hands before beginning to dry his tears. “We’ll just wind up falling further and further away from each other until there’s nothing left of who we were.”
“What if I gave up being an elder if I fell from grace?” Quinn asked him.
“I can’t deny the world of having you as an elder it’s clearly always been a part of your destiny.” Drake told his former white lighter. “Just like being a charmed one is my destiny.”
“I’m going to miss you!” Quinn cried before Drake pulled him in towards him and kissed him passionately.
“I’m going to miss you too!” Drake replied after the couple shared their last kiss.

Drake found himself meditating on the floor of his new Gothic bedroom located within the Underworld when Quinn orbed into his room.
“You can’t seriously be trying to find your inner peace while in the Underworld.” Quinn said to him making Drake open his eyes.
“If you must know it’s a lot quieter around here than it’s ever been in the Halliwell Manor.” Drake replied as he rose to his feet.
“I know you are mad with us all and I get that but what I don’t understand is why you’re suddenly aligning yourself with the man who killed your best friend, your best friend’s father and let’s not forget your own mother his daughter.” Quinn told him.
“Crystals.” Drake shouted while waving his hand trapping Quinn in a crystal cage.
“Did you seriously just trap me?” Quinn asked in shock at being imprisoned by the man he loved. “I don’t know what’s got into you, but this isn’t the real you.”
“Yeah you see maybe at some stage this wasn’t who I am but it’s who I am now and let’s face it it’s who I was always meant to be.” Drake answered his former white lighter. “I’m sorry for trapping you but I can’t have anyone getting in the way of my coronation.”
“Please don’t tell me you’re going to be crowned the prince of the Underworld.” Quinn pleaded with him. “Have you truly lost your mind?”
“Of course not,” Drake responded with a sinister smirk. “I’m about to be the new source of all evil.”
“No, Drake, no!” Quinn begged him. “This isn’t a path you can just go down once you do there’s no going back. This isn’t what your parents wanted for you.”
“Yeah well they weren’t the wisest if they were maybe they’d still be around.” Drake replied coldly. “It’s about time I got myself some serious power without having to rely on a frankly unreliable charmed alliance.”
“Drake please don’t do this I know you’re hurting right now but I love you.” Quinn cried.
“Your love has been nothing but a curse to me a weakness that I refuse to allow to claim any more of my power.” Drake snapped at him. “The minute I am crowned kind I’m going to celebrate by not only ending you but Paul and Pan too in fact I’d kill you within this second if I wasn’t going to get so much delight from watching you suffer.”
Pan walked through to the kitchen in her family home only to see an unclean and unshaven Paul sat at the kitchen bottle nursing a have empty bottle of whiskey in his hand while two other empty bottles were placed on the table as Pan quickly realized her brother had been up all night drinking.
“I know this Drake thing is hitting you hard but this pity party you keep throwing yourself isn’t doing anybody any good.” Pan said to him as she walked over and sat down next to her older brother. “You are never going to get your son back by looking for the answers at the bottom of a bottle.”
“There’s no getting him back this time,” Paul drunkenly slurred as he took another drink from his bottle. “I had one too many chances and I blew them every time.”
“I can’t deal with this right now…” Pan moaned while rolling her eyes before shouting. “Quinn!”
“Yeah Quinn’s not available right now,” Lacey revealed as she orbed into the kitchen. “He’s gone missing and the elders are convinced either Drake or his grandfather of all evil are behind Quinn missing if not the both of them.”
“I know Drake’s in a bad place but surely he’s not gone as far as kidnapping Quinn?” Pan said with great uncertainty.
“I’d love to say no but in truth the Drake I knew would never have joined forces with his evil grandfather and join the ranks of the Underworld whoever he is now I have no clue what he’s capable of.” Lacey admitted to her ex-girlfriend.
“Looks like we’re on our own for this rescue mission then,” Pan replied to Lacey as she noticed her drunk older brother now passed out on the chair cuddling into his bottle while beginning to snore away.
“Are you going somewhere?” Drake asked Cindy after blinking into her office to find her stuffing clothes, money and paperwork into a ruffle bag before zipping it up and throwing the bag around her shoulders.
“Well after learning of your decent into darkness spelling the end of the charmed ones, I figured I should probably make myself scarce.” Cindy replied to him. “You’re not here to kill me, are you?”
“No of course not,” Drake answered her, clearly hurt that she would think him possible of hurting her. “I came to formally hand in my notice as the future source of all evil I won’t have much time for stripping.”
“You’re going to be the new source?” Cindy asked while in shock by Drake’s revelation. “Even more reason for me to leave as quickly as possible.”
“You know as the source of all evil I’d be able to stop all demons from hunting you especially if you were my right-hand woman down there.” Drake offered her.
“The Underworld may not be actual hell but it sure feels like it once the Underworld claims you it’s like there’s no breaking free and I’d rather spend the rest of my life on the run looking over my back than be forced to be down there again.” Cindy warned her former lover. “You should go back home to the ones who love you before you make the biggest mistake of your life.”
“I really am sorry that you’ve chose to decline my offer but I understand your reasons behind it whereas the blood of the Underworld literally runs through my veins, my mother was the source, my grandfather is the source and soon I will be the next king of hell.” Drake told his former boss.
“You’re up to something Drake,” Cindy replied with a knowing smirk. “I’m not buying this sudden descent to darkness just wait until I get out of here before you do whatever your planning.”
“I have no clue what you are talking about Cindy,” Drake lied unconvincingly. “The only thing I have planned is my coronation.”
“Just take care Drake because I need you to stay alive.” Cindy told him before giving the prince of hell a hug. “Please don’t wind up dead!”
“I must admit you are getting a lot better at the whole orbing thing.” Pan complimented Lacey as the two orbed into the caves of the Underworld.
“Thanks, I’ve been doing a lot of practicing since I relocated myself.” Lacey admitted to her.
“Can you sense Quinn or Drake?” Pan asked her former white lighter.
“I’m sensing something alright but it’s very faint,” Lacey revealed while trying to decide whether to go left or right before walking right. “I think he’s this way.”
“I’m sure hoping my explosive powers are going to be enough for whatever we’re about to face.” Pan hoped as she followed Lacey’s footsteps.
“Not to bring this up considering I don’t really have a leg to stand on due to the part I played in Eve’s death, but you guys should’ve never have taken his memories from him that’s a total violation.” Lacey told Pan as they continued walking through the caves of the Underworld.
“Yeah you really don’t have a leg to stand on considering you started this whole mess by refusing to stay away when I warned you to but you’re right we never should’ve messed with him like that.” Pan reluctantly agreed. “No wonder he’d rather be in hell than with us.”
Pan and Lacey continued to walk through the caves of the Underworld before Lacey got a stronger sense of Quinn and the two orbed into Drake’s bedroom within the Underworld to find Quinn trapped in a crystal cage.
“Jesus what the hell is going on here?” Pan asked Quinn but before Quinn could reply Drake blinked into his room.
“Simple I trapped your white lighter and used you as bait to lure you here.” Drake explained himself much to Pan and Quinn’s own horror, while Lacey didn’t look that surprised.
“Why are you doing this Drake? I know Paul and I messed things up pretty badly but that doesn’t mean you go all evil just to get revenge on us.” Pan told her nephew.
“All everybody has ever down is betray me and I can’t blame them because I’ve allowed it time and time again but no more.” Drake replied before holding out his hands and shouting. “Crossbow.”
“This isn’t you!” Pan shouted as a crossbow blinked into Drake’s hands.
Drake aimed his crossbow at Lacey and wasted no time in firing the arrow in Lacey’s direction hitting her in the stomach before falling to the ground as Pan raised her hands in an attempt to freeze her nephew only for her power to prove useless at freezing Drake.
“Yeah there’s still no freezing my yet aunt but give it time I’ll be the source soon enough.” Drake declare before waving his hand in Lacey’s direction, shouting. “North pole.”
“No!” Pan screamed as an injured Lacey blinked out of existence before exploding a crystal near Quinn freeing her white lighter from his cage and shouting to him. “Save Lacey!”
“Hardly the wisest move getting rid of all transport out of here.” Drake taunted Pan as Quinn orbed away in search of Lacey before Pan raised both hands and tried to explode her nephew causing him to be wounded by her power before being thrown across the room and harshly hitting the ground.
“I really don’t want to hurt you Drake.” Pan told him as he raised back on to his feet.
“Shame because I’m going to have real fun hurting you.” Drake replied.
Quinn orbed into the middle of the north pole where nothing was visible except the snow as he instantly found himself freezing within the snow storm searching around for an injured Lacey only to be found shocked when she orbed her way in front of him with no injuries whatsoever much to his confusion.
“Who healed you so quickly?” Quinn questioned her. “It’s almost as if it didn’t even wound you.”
“Yeah here’s the thing the arrow wasn’t exactly poisoned it was just made to look like that.” Lacey revealed to Quinn as she walked towards her fellow white lighter. “I may or may not have aligned myself with Drake and his plans to lure Pan to the Underworld as well as getting you out of the way.”
“Wait what? You’re working with Drake?” Quinn asked in shock by Lacey’s betrayal. “Don’t tell me you’ve gone to the dark side too.”
“Things aren’t exactly that black and white,” Lacey admitted to him as she placed her hands on his shoulders before moving them to his neck, grabbing her friend’s neck by force before using all her strength to snap his neck. “I’m so getting fired for all this I just hope it was all worth it.”
Lacey quickly grabbed an unconscious Quinn as he fell to the ground, helping place him softly on the snow filled ground before orbing away and leaving him in the middle of the north pole.
Drake sat on the throne made of skulls lording it over his aunt Pan who was locked up in a magical cage of his own doing while they stayed within the throne room in the Underworld as he laughed at Pan’s attempts to blow her way out of the cage with her powers each time not being able to do anything more than make the cage shake slightly.
“I’ve got to admire your determination never to give up it’s what sets you apart from so many in this world.” Drake told his aunt.
“Drake, what the hell are you playing at?” Pan asked her nephew, furious by her predicament. “Nobody ever wanted this for you.”
“Yeah well I’ve had enough of people interfering in my life!” Drake snapped as he stood up from the throne which would soon be his. “It’s about time I handled things my way!”
“Are you seriously going to turn your back on us for a man who killed your mother?” Pan asked in disbelief by her nephew’s coldness towards her. “I can’t believe that no matter what we’ve done to hurt you no matter how much your grieving for your mother that you’d ever go down this path.”
“I’m done grieving, losing and being lied to I’m done being weak to appease others.” Drake told her as he walked towards her cage. “I’m stronger than all of you ever gave me credit for and I’m going to take that strength all the way to my coronation as the new source of all evil.”
“You’re going to become the source of all evil?” Pan asked as tears began forming in her eyes. “All we ever wanted for you was a happy life and we went around it the wrong way time and time again but all we were trying to do was protect you from this.”
“Your ideal of what is good for one is never good for the other and your so-called family above all is laughable.” Drake responded coldly. “I’m only standing here right now because your own brother slept with the woman you loved who got her knocked up in the process. All of you keep making out as if it’s us versus them but the truth is you’re all just as flawed as they are and some of you even worse and god forbid anyone sees that truth because then you just brainwash them until they act and say exactly what you want.”
Before Pan could respond to Drake’s harsh but admittedly fair tearing down of their family the current source of all evil Titus appeared within a burst of flames into the throne room.
“What is the meaning of this Drake?” The source asked his grandson while looking at the imprisoned Pan.
“Consider this my present to me from me to celebrate my coronation.” Drake replied to his twisted grandfather. “Pan’s imprisonment should be more than enough to squash all fears about where my loyalties lay and once you make me king, I’ll happily kill her to commemorate the special occasion.”
“I must admit I feared you’d be as disappointing as your mother but you’re beginning to become my greatest accomplishment yet.” Titus replied with a proud smile. “You’re going to make me so proud as the new source of all evil.”
“What the hell is going on?” Paul asked as he woke up in an abandoned warehouse both him and Quinn shackled to a wall by chains.
“Lacey has tuned full blow psychotic and joined Drake’s tirade against us resulting in her kidnapping us.” Quinn revealed to Paul. “You know just the usual.”
“Why would Lacey help Drake?” Paul asked, confused for a moment before realizing the two were clearly plotting something. “Unless Drake hasn’t gone fully evil like he’s had us believe and this is all part of some elaborate plan that the two of them cooked up.”
“Far be it from me to criticize anyone’s parenting considering my many mistakes but when your own son teams up with his best friend to chain you up in an abandoned warehouse you’re clearly doing something wrong.” Melinda told her son after appearing from out of nowhere.
“Fine I’ll admit my parenting choices are as bad as yours mother now set us free already.” Paul replied to his mother.
“I’m sorry but I can’t intervene.” Melinda told her son before turning to look at Quinn. “The chains are magic proof, so you won’t be able to orb out of them.”
“What do you mean you’re not going to help us break free?” Quinn asked Melinda.
“If I could intervene, I would trust me I could do with something to help you be less furious with me after everything, but I can’t intervene the elders won’t allow it.” Melinda explained to Paul. “Everything is playing out exactly how the angels of destiny prophesied, and I wish that I could tell them to go screw themselves and save you from the same pain I’ve endured but there’s no stopping destiny or death.”
“What do you mean death?” Paul asked, horrified to hear the answer.
“I’m here to apologize for everything I tried so hard to stop something like this ever happening and now I’m afraid all we did was play our parts in the inevitable.” Melinda told them both. “I’m so sorry it had to end like this.”
“End like what?” Paul questioned his mother as tears began forming in his eyes before repeatedly shouting louder and louder. “End like what mum?”
“Your mother was my first love and their betrayal broke me in ways I never thought possible.” Pan said as she stood in her magic proof cage while her nephew sat on his throne made of skulls. “I didn’t forgive either of them over night, but I loved them both too much to hate them, so I nursed my wounds, let them apologize over and over again and with time and healing I forgave them both.”
“But it was never really the same after that was it?” Drake asked his aunt. “It’s never the same when the people that love you the most betray you in unthinkable ways sure if you’re a good person you can forgive but you never truly forget.
“Perhaps not no, but I still chose to love them after everything even when it became abundantly clear Eve and I were living on borrowed time I continued to love her until she chose darkness over me.” Pan admitted honestly. “I remember feeling like she literally chose anything over me, and I know that’s how we made you feel and I’m so sorry for that but even if you don’t believe me believe her. Eve was ready to give up everything just to be your mother you were her true redemption and she’d never want this life for you.”
“You have no idea what she would want right now because nobody can ask her!” Drake snapped as he rose from the throne once more as tears began to form in his eyes. “She’s gone now so she doesn’t really get a say.”
Before Pan could reply to him Drake blinked away only for Lacey to orb in moments later making Pan breathe a sigh of relief believing the white lighter was there to rescue her.
“Thank god you’re okay!” Pan said to Lacey as Lacey rushed over to the cage and began working on the lock with a hair-clip she pulled out of her hair. “How are you okay?”
“Quinn managed to get to me in time and now he’s working on sobering up your brother I figured while he did that, I’d break you free.” Lacey lied as she picked the lock open allowing Pan to get out of the cage.
“I think Drake might’ve banked on Quinn getting to you to safe you I don’t think he meant to hurt you well I don’t think he meant to kill you.” Pan explained to Lacey. “I think he’s up to something and there’s a chance we can save him from all of this.”
“I hope you’re right, but we need to get out of here soon before somebody finds us.” Lacey continued to lie to the woman she loved.
“No, I can’t go anywhere not without Drake.” Pan replied. “His coronation is happening soon, and I need to stop it.”
Before Lacey could respond to Pan, she was shocked to find the Halliwell witch suddenly lose consciousness luckily grabbing her in time before she fell as head elder Paige orbed into the throne room of the Underworld.
“I had a feeling none of this would run as smoothly as he had planned.” Paige admitted to Lacey as Lacey continued to hold an unconscious Pan in her arms. “I really don’t like any of this.”
“If you don’t like this and I don’t like this why the hell are we doing it?” Lacey questioned the head elder.
“As Titus is now, he can’t be stopped not with both the powers of the triad and the source of all evil even if the charmed ones fought him, they’d lose.” Paige revealed. “This way we all stand a fighting chance.”
“You’re right I know you’re right,” Lacey replied as tears formed in her eyes while she looked down at an unconscious Pan who she continued to hold. “I hate lying to them all…I hate the idea of losing him he’s been the one constant in my life.”
“None of us want to see things end this way we all hoped there’d be some way around it but there’s not.” Paige cried. “This is the only way.”
Lacey orbed into the abandoned warehouse where Quinn and Paul were chained to the wall with Pan in her arms before she gently placed Pan down onto the ground making both Paul and Quinn fear the worst for the unconscious Halliwell.
“What the hell have you done to her?” Paul screamed at Lacey. “You better let us go now Lacey or I swear to god I’ll vanquish you my god damn self!”
“I didn’t do anything I would never do anything to hurt her.” Lacey snapped at Paul. “I still love her.”
“Trust me if you really loved her you would tell her whatever the hell it is that you and Drake are planning before it’s too late because trust me when you keep them in the dark they just wind up leaving you there alone.” Quinn warned his fellow white lighter.
“It’s because I love her so much that I’m doing this for her,” Lacey cried. “This is my chance to protect her and put her first for once.”
Pan found herself waking up to see Lacey stood above her instantly making her raise her hands and explode her former white lighter/girlfriend before quickly getting to her feet and noticing Paul and Quinn in chains which she tries to explode only for nothing to happen to the chains.
“I’m so done with anti-magic items today.” Pan said while rolling her eyes before Lacey began to orb back into the room making Pan explode her once again.
Pan rushed over to try and break the lock of the chains keeping her brother and white lighter chained to the wall only for Lacey to orb back into the warehouse.
“I’m so sorry but I’ve got to save you all from yourselves.” Lacey told them all before Pan raised her hands and froze her on the spot.
“Something else I’m so done with today!” Pan snapped before walking over to Lacey and searching her frozen body before pulling out keys.
“Good job sis!” Paul said to Pan as she rushed over to unlock her and Quinn’s chains.
“No problem brother now let’s go save your son!” Pan replied.

Paul walked in the San Francisco Police Department anxiously barging past people before rushing up the stairs and into a hallway before reaching Eric Morgan’s office door as he began knocking on the door repeatedly before Eric eventually shouted for him to come in.
“I’m just going to assume you will be continuously visiting my office until someone has heard of anything about where the hell Drake is.” Eric said to a clearly sleep deprived Paul as Paul walked into his office. “Mr Halliwell, I promise you that we are doing everything within our power to find your son he’s a top priority and not just because he used to be one of us. I consider him family I mean I’ve known him since he was a kid.”
“I know your doing everything you can and I’m doing everything within my power to find him.” Paul replied. “It’s been an entire week with no sightings either up here or down below and I’ve tried every spell in the book of shadows and I’m beginning to think…”
“Don’t even finish that sentence Paul, I’ve known Drake a long time and one thing he’s always been is a survivor.” Eric told Paul. “Trust me wherever he is he will be alive and probably making any kidnapper regret every second their holding him hostage.”
“You’re right and his mother is the queen of hell surely that will win my son some brownie points if it is a demonic situation.” Paul agreed. “I just want him home.”
Lacey burst through Eric’s office door immediately demanding both of their attention with her clothes torn and her entire body covered in dirt, bruises and cuts leaving both her father and her sister’s brother completely confused.
“What happened to you?” Paul asked in shock.
“Apparently desert islands make shitty prisons when your cast under a guardian spell that will make you stop at nothing to protect a certain charmed one.” Lacey revealed to them both.
“I have gathered you all here because I am far from amused about the rumblings and rumors about your queen becoming soft.” Eve declared as to a cave full of demons in black robes who knelled before their queen as she sat on her throne made entirely of skulls within the Underworld. “I am the queen of hell and I’ve worked harder than any of you so I refuse to allow these treacherous lies to continue so by order of your queen you are to kill all who would defy me.”
“My queen some of us are only worried that the ties you have with the charmed ones will only weaken your loyalty towards the Underworld I mean you have a son who is a charmed one.” A random demon stood up and interrupted only to catch on flames by a wave of Eve’s hands before the demon exploded into pieces.
“I will never allow rumors, lies or any disloyalty of any kind.” Eve made herself clear. “Which brings me to my next reason for this meeting I can confirm my son has rejected his charmed heritage to join us in the ranks of the Underworld.”
“But my beloved queen a charmed in hell is unheard of.” Another demon interrupted while rising to their feet. “I fear this will be the undoing of us all.”
Drake blinks himself in front of the robed demon before Eve could respond to the demon shouting athame which appeared in the Halliwell hybrid’s hands before he used the weapon to plunge it into the demon’s chest.
“I believe my mother made herself very clear about being questioned.” Drake addressed the demons while his victim burst into flames before exploding.
“How on earth did you escape the island?” Pan asked Lacey as she and Paul walked into the foyer of the Halliwell Manor where she was stood waiting.
“It drove me insane and I have cuts and wounds in places I never knew existed, but this guardian stuff is no joke.” A now freshly dressed Lacey revealed to her girlfriend before giving her a kiss.
“Why didn’t Quinn at least try and stop you?” Pan wondered.
“He’s a little bit scared of me which I fully used to my advantage.” Lacey boasted with a smile of pride on her face.
“I’m glad to see you Lacey but you can’t be here right now it’s more dangerous around this place than ever before.” Pan told her detective girlfriend.
“Paul filled me in on everything Drake related, and it seems to me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.” Lacey replied to her.
“I must say the fact that third act of the charmed ones is still missing and you’re all incapable of finding him doesn’t give me much confidence in your evaluation.” Merlow announced after orbing into the foyer. “Or the fact we’re entrusting mortals with magical secrets.”
“Screw your bloody evaluation,” Paul snapped at the elder. “I don’t care what you have to say or what you think of us my son is missing and that’s all that matters right now.”
“Who the hell is this guy?” Lacey asked Pan.
“He’s this elder who’s been sent to evaluate us as charmed ones and Quinn as a white lighter.” Pan revealed to her.
“And where exactly is Jason Quinn? I haven’t been able to get some proper one on one time with him for an entire week.” Merlow wondered.
“You can forgive him for being too busy doing his job to be able to have a sit and chat with you.” Pan said, being the next Halliwell to snap at the elder.
“Yes well Drake is only one of Jason Quinn’s many charges and although I do believe the charmed ones should be his priority he shouldn’t be wasting all his time for a charge who is more than likely given into his demonic side I mean that’s what demons do best.” Merlow replied to Pan.
Lacey quickly walked over to the elder with a furious look on her face before punching him in the face causing the elder to hit the floor with force.
“Here’s my evaluation of your pompous ass you’re rude and need to leave before I test this whole angel not being able to die twice theory.” Lacey told the elder rather bluntly making both Paul and Pan smile.
“This will not stand you can’t just disrespect an elder like this.” Merlow complained as he got back onto his two feet.
“Why not? I mean you were disrespecting us.” Pan answered him. “And last time I checked my girlfriend can do whatever the hell she likes to do and often does.”
Merlow didn’t waste time responding to Pan choosing to quickly orb away before angering the three of them any further.
“I think we should be looking straight at the source of all evil I mean she was in contact with him and he had recently worked out she was a big liar just before he went missing.” Lacey suggested to both Pan and Paul.
“You might be right,” Pan replied. “I really thought for a second she might’ve considered doing the right thing for her son.”
“What made you think for a single second she’d ever do that?” Paul questioned his sister before realizing. “You’ve spoken to her, haven’t you?”
“What am I missing here?” Lacey asked them both before turning her attention to her girlfriend. “Why on earth would you believe the source of all evil would have any good in her I mean the hints right there in her title?”
“Have you or have you not seen her?” Paul snapped at Paul.
“She may have visited me once or twice but both times were before Drake went missing and I thought I was getting through to her but clearly she never listened to a single word I said.” Pan admitted to her older brother. “Eve’s never been an easy subject for either of us to speak about and I didn’t need you worrying anymore than you were already else I would’ve told you sooner I swear I had no idea she’d stoop so low as to kidnap her own soon.”
“Of course, you never believed she would do something like that I can’t believe after all these years she can still fool you.” Paul furiously replied to her. “I can’t believe you’ve let her do this to us again.”
“Oh my god you were involved with the source, weren’t you?” A stunned Lacey asked her girlfriend. “You were involved with Drake’s mother?”
“In my defense I was with her before she became Drake’s mother.” Pan replied to her girlfriend before delivering a bitch glare towards her brother.
“Did you love her?” Lacey questioned Pan while dreading the answer.
Eve appeared in a burst of flames within a satanic circle somewhere within the caves of the Underworld where three people whose identities were hidden in triad robes awaited their queen of hell.
“I have followed your advice, but I don’t believe everything is going as planned.” She said to them. “He’s definitely darker now but he doesn’t seem like my son anymore.”
“He’s merely growing accustomed to his newfound darkness he is bound to change as time goes on while the evil takes more and more control over him before finally becoming the son you’ve always wanted and the prince the Underworld needs.” One of the three triad members replied to her.
“He’s already the son I’ve always wanted I don’t want him to change who he is.” Eve admitted to the triad.
“Why infect him with the woogy if you didn’t want him to change?” Another third of the triad spoke. “Now is not a time for you to be weak and question yourself Eve.”
“You’re right I’m just adjusting to this change like Drake is.” Eve agreed. “I just wish he chose this life instead of having to force it upon him.”
“I’m sorry I thought dumping you on a remote island was a good idea and I’m sorry you had to get back here yourself before I came to my senses although I must admit I’m highly impressed that you did.” Pan apologised to Lacey as the two of them sat on the couch within the living room of the Halliwell Manor.
“I’m more surprised that someone like you could be with someone who literally lives and rules hell.” Lacey admitted to her.
“Firstly, the Underworld is more like a hellish lair than hell itself in fact hell is a much worse place believe it or not and secondly she wasn’t the source when I used to be with her.” Pan revealed to her girlfriend.
“That’s a bit more understandable I suppose but why didn’t you just tell me you and Drake’s mother had a past?” Lacey asked.
“It’s a painful part of my past and I didn’t wee why you need to know.” Pan told her.
“I’m supposed to be the woman you love, and it feels like you hid something from me because it’s still painful and therefore not part of your past if you’re still hurting in the present.” Lacey explained to Pan. “I dealt well with the magic secret I would’ve handled Eve well too.”
“She is a part of my past Lacey.” Pan promised her.
“Do you still have feelings for her?” Lacey asked only to be immediately met with a silence that devastated her. “I guess that means yes.”
“No of course I don’t have feelings for her anymore Lacey.” Pan told her after Lacey stood up from the couch as Pan stood up to face her. “I love you.”
“I know you do, and I love you too, but that moment of hesitation says you’re not quite over her yet.” Lacey said as tears formed in her eyes.
“That’s not true.” Pan replied with uncertainty as tears began forming in her eyes too.
“I can’t be with someone who has feelings for someone else.” Lacey cried.
“Why does it feel like we’re breaking up?” Pan asked, fearing the obvious answer.
“Because we are.” Lacey admitted.
Drake found himself walking through the seemingly never-ending caves of the Underworld when Quinn orbed his way in front of his troubled charge.
“Quinn you really shouldn’t have come here.” Drake told him before being met with a hug from his white lighter.
“I’m so glad you’re okay we were all worried about you.” Quinn admitted before breaking off his hug with the man he loved. “Are you okay?”
“You probably should’ve have came looking for me.” Drake replied as his eyes briefly turned jet black before returning to normal.
“Oh no Drake what’s happened to you?” A fearful Quinn asked before Drake summoned a fireball above his hand. “Let’s just say I’m royalty now.”
“Please just tell me what I’m supposed to do?” Paul pleaded as he looked upwards stood in front of the book of shadows within the attic of the Halliwell Manor, shouting to his ancestors for help in finding his missing son. “Please I can’t lose him again.”
The book of shadows began flipping pages on it’s own accord once again before stopping on the page with the spell entitled how to banish the Woogyman which left him confused knowing the woogy is normally a problem from within the family home and that was one place where his son wasn’t.
“You really should’ve just stayed away for once in your life.” Drake said to Quinn as he began walking towards his white lighter in the caves of the Underworld. “This isn’t personal but if folk down here got word we met, and I didn’t kill you they’d think I’m soft and I can’t be having that.”
“I don’t know what’s happened to you Drake, but you know this isn’t you.” Quinn pleaded with his charge.
“It’s who I am now.” Drake replied to him.
“I don’t know what it is that’s controlling you, but you are stronger than this.” Quinn tried to convince him.
“No, he can’t.” Drake laughed sinisterly as his eyes went completely jet black.
“Okay well if talking isn’t working.” Quinn said before plunging towards a possessed Drake kissing him and watching Drake’s eyes as they turned back to normal. “It worked.”
Drake smiled at Quinn for a brief moment before pulling his body towards his own as the two men began passionately kissing each other as their hands begin to wonder fondling each of their bodies in the process before Drake pushed Quinn up against a nearby wall and pulled his white lighter’s shirt open with force as they looked at each other for a moment with longing in their eyes before Quinn tore open Drake’s shirt and the two began kissing once again.
“You should really start thinking about doing a girl a favour and staying dead.” Lacey said while knocking back her beer in a rundown dive bar as Paul and Pan’s mother Melinda sat down on a stool next to her placed at the bar counter.
“I know I’ve done you so many wrongs and I’ve wronged my children and my grandchild and I can’t ever fix what I destroyed but at the very least I can break a spell I should never have cast in the first place.” Melinda revealed to Lacey as she looked around to make sure nobody was paying too much attention.
“You mean you’ve found a way to break the spell?” Lacey asked in shock.
“Release this guardian from her chains release her from her magical reins.” Melinda chanted quietly. “The spell once cast is now reversed and Lacey will finally put Lacey first.”
“Is that it?” Lacey wondered. “It feels kind of anti-climatic after all these years.”
“That’s all I hope you one day forgive me for what I’ve done.” Melinda apologised to Lacey while standing up from her stool.
“I don’t get it after all this time why do you decide to break the spell when I’m needed more than ever before?” Lacey questioned the Halliwell ghost.
“Because Pan has suffered far too many losses and I can’t be to blame for another.” Melinda admitted to her. “Pan needs you to be safe more than I need you to play guardian.”
“Somehow I’m not entirely sure I’m her number one priority.” Lacey told Melinda.
“Of course, you’re not her family will always come first but I know you understand that.” Melinda replied to the detective. “Which means you must be talking about the infamous ex and all I can suggest there is to not let Pan’s past with Eve define your future with her.”
“Just how much do you overhear from up there exactly?” Lacey asked which was followed by her laughing.
“Enough to know that my daughter truly loves you and not her.” Melinda told her.
“I can’t be doing this we’ve got to stop doing this Quinn nothing ever comes from this and it hurts too much.” Drake admitted after pulling himself away from Quinn as the two remained in the caves of the Underworld. “You need to go and never come back.”
“I can’t leave without you Drake I know this isn’t what you want you’re nothing like your mother and you never will be.” Quinn replied to him.
“I can’t fight this thing inside of me it’s becoming too strong.” Drake said as his eyes began to go black once more. “You need to go now!”
“I’m not leaving you Drake!” Quinn made himself clear.
“Halliwell Manor!” Drake shouted as he waved his hand and made Quinn blink out of sight.
“I think Drake has somehow been infected by the woogy or at least that’s what our undead family have concluded but there’s still no way of locating him so instead of answers all I’m getting is more questions.” Paul rambled as Pan walked into the attic to find him stood behind the book of shadows.
“At least we’re one step closer to finding him,” Pan said before coming up with an idea almost instantly after. “Come to think of it what if we don’t find him?”
“So far you input is not helping.” Paul snapped at his younger sister.
“What if we use the reversal spell for the to find a lost witch spell and take ourselves to wherever he is.” Pan explained herself.
“Oh my god Pan you’re a genius.” Paul replied with excitement. “Although if we were smarter, we would’ve reached that conclusion seven days ago.”
“I found Drake and he’s possessed by…” Quinn began to say after orbing into the attic.
“The woogy.” Pan said interrupting her white lighter. “You’re kind of slow on the intake.”
“I was actually just going to say something but it’s good you guys bet me to the conclusion because that means there’s probably a spell all ready.” Quinn replied to them both before hearing a jingle in his ears. “Oh, great the elders want me right away I’m guessing it’s the conclusion of our terrible evaluation but they’re going to have to wait because Drake comes first.”
“Powers of the witches rise course unseen across the skies. Take us three to he wherever he may be. Take us there to settle there.” Pan and Paul chanted after Pan and Quinn walked over to be by Paul’s side before the three of them disappeared within a series of white orbs.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Eve screamed as she walked into the caves of the Underworld to find her son Drake sitting on her throne.
“I’ve been thinking being a prince isn’t all it’s cracked up to be I’d rather be king.” Drake admitted to her as he stood up from his mother’s throne. “Which means you’re going to have to go.”
“Okay you’re in some serious need of a time out mister.” Eve told her son before he summoned a fireball above his hand. “The woogy has seriously infected you Drake I’m the queen of hell!”
“Correction you were the queen of hell.” Drake replied before throwing the fireball in his mother’s direction to which she ducked managing to dodge the fireball which instead hit the floor of the cave as Paul, Pan and Quinn appeared in front of them both in a series of white orbs.
“Thank god,” Eve breathed a sigh of relief while looking at Pan. “Just banish the woogy out of him already!”
Paul and Quinn both looked at Eve with confusion in their eyes while Pan focused her attention on Drake raising both her hands to freeze the woogy inside the Halliwell hybrid making Drake fall to the ground while a dark smoke frozen in mid-air remained.
“I am light I am one too strong to fight. So, go away to where shadows dwell you cannot have this Halliwell.” Paul chanted making the dark smoke disappear out of sight much to everyone’s relief before Eve disappeared within a burst of flames.
“Well that was a very interesting week.” Drake said as he rose to his feet. “Do possessions happen a lot in this family because I have a feeling they do?”
“You have so much more to learn little nephew.” Pan cackled as Paul rushed over to Drake and hugged his son.
“I was so worried I lost you again I never ever want to lose you again!” Paul told his son as he continued to hug Drake tightly.
“Okay but your kind of doing more damaged than the woogy did right now.” Drake replied as he broke off their hug.
“I’m sorry.” Paul apologised before hugging his son once more as Pan and Quinn smiled at each other relieved to know this ordeal was over.
Drake stood in the spare bedroom while looking around the room with inspiration in his eyes as he began to think about all the ways he could decorate it into making it feel like his own bedroom.
“Does this mean your finally moving in?” Quinn asked as he orbed into the room.
“Well after spending a week with woogy I figured Paul and Pan would be less invasive roommates.” Drake replied.
“How are you feeling after everything?” Quinn wondered.
“Shouldn’t you be checking in with the elders they won’t be happy you’ve kept them waiting.” Drake told him.
“I figured checking in with you first is more important.” Quinn replied with a smile on his face.
“When you kissed me the woogy temporary moved out and it was me kissing you back.” Drake revealed to him.
“That’s the real reason I was checking in,” Quinn admitted as he moved closer towards Drake. “Where does that leave us now?”
“You’re a white lighter and I’m a demon it’s forbidden.” Drake answered him before Quinn kissed him on the lips.
“I’d break all the rules just to spend one day with you.” Quinn told him. “Drake I…”
Before Quinn could finish what, he had to say he suddenly felt himself forcefully orbing out of the room leaving Drake not knowing what he was about to say as he was left alone in his new room.
“To be continued I guess.” Drake replied with a sad sigh.
“I’m guessing that bedding is for Drake,” Pan said as she walked out of her room to find Paul stood in the hallway searching through a nearby cupboard where they kept towels and linen. “He said he’d move in, but he didn’t say he was moving in tonight.”
“I know he’s probably not going to move in tonight but I want his room to be ready so he can move in whenever he wants to.” Paul admitted with a sense of excitement in his voice.
“I don’t think you’ve glowed this much in years it’s good to see you happy.” Pan told her older brother. “It’s been too long.”
“No offense but I don’t do old bedding that’s stuffed in some family cupboard I’ll swing by the store later before coming back tonight to change the bed.” Drake said as he walked out of his room and over towards Paul and Pan. “Which brings me to the whole I’m going to need a new bed I get a lot of this place is antiques but antiques aren’t what your looking for when it comes to slumber time.”
“You want to move in tonight?” Pan asked, shocked by Drake’s sudden rush to move in.
“How late is later exactly?” Paul wondered as he closed the cupboard door. “Just so I know when to start cooking dinner.”
“I’m not sure I’ve got to vanquish the source of all evil first then I need to sweet talk Cindy into not firing me, so I’m guess pretty late.” Drake told them both, shocking them even further.
“If your wanting to vanquish your mother after what she’s done that’s understandable but don’t rush into something because your angry in case you wind up regretting it.” Pan replied to her nephew.
“I’m pissed off with her who wouldn’t be in my shoes but deciding to vanquish her isn’t a decision I’m making out of hate because I don’t hate her despite everything I kind of still like her but liking someone doesn’t mean they’re worth being liked.” Drake explain to his father and aunt. “She’s too dangerous to keep alive and it’s my duty to protect the innocent.”
“Vanquishing your mother isn’t going to be easy Drake.” Pan warned him.
“You’re going to need to learn a spell and it requires the power of three.” Paul revealed to his son.
“No worries I already ripped the page with the spell on it out of the book and I’ve been memorizing it since we got back.” Drake admitted much to Paul and Pan’s horror.
“You ripped a page out of the book of shadows?” Pan asked. “We don’t harm the book ever I mean that’s sacrilege!”
“I thought so but it’s pretty funny to see your reactions.” Drake laughed.
“Where are all the other elders?” Quinn asked Paige as the two of them stood within the clouds high above.
“I convinced them to let me deliver the verdict by myself I thought it’d be easier coming from just one of us.” Paige explained to him. “I think you’re doing a great job and you’re going to continue doing a great job it’s just the others don’t agree so much about the charmed ones being the right fit for you and I was out voted on keeping you as their white lighter.”
“This is because of me and Drake isn’t it?” Quinn asked. “He’s a charmed one first and just because he’s part demon doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be allowed to be with him.”
“Trust me when I say I couldn’t agree more with you Quinn but there’s still a lot of archaic angels up here and my work is never done trying to bring them into a more modern way of thinking.” Paige admitted to the white lighter. “I’m sorry but you’re no longer the charmed ones’ white lighter.”
“But I can’t leave them now, I can’t leave him.” Quinn said as tears began forming in his eyes. “I’m in love with him.”
Drake stood within the basement of the Halliwell Manor looking almost reluctant for a second while holding a crystal behind his back as his biological mother Eve appeared into the basement within a burst of flames.
“I’m sorry for taking that approach with you but it truly felt like I had no other choice.” Eve apologised to him.
“I’m an amazing person and I don’t need to change just to be accepted.” Drake told her.
“I do love you for exactly who you are when the woogy was inside you it made me realize just how much I’m glad that you’re nothing like me.” Eve revealed to her son before Drake walked over to her placing the finale crystal in the circle and trapping his mother in the crystal cage by doing so.
“I’m sorry for this I really am but you’re too much of a threat for mum.” Drake said as tears formed in his eyes while Pan and Paul appeared from the top of the stairs and began walking down.
“You’re calling me mum that’s all I ever truly wanted.” Eve cried. “Do what you need to do Drake just know I will never stop loving you and you will always be my son.”
Drake and Eve continued to cry as Pan and Paul reached the bottom of the stairs both grabbing a hold of one of Drake’s hands.
“Are you sure you want to do this Drake?” Pan asked her nephew.
“Goodbye mum!” Drake said to Eve as his voice began to break.
“Goodbye my beautiful boy.” Eve replied.
“Prudence, Piper, Phoebe, Penelope, Patricia, Melinda, Chris, Astrid, Helena, Laura and Grace. Halliwell witches stand strong beside us vanquish the evil through…” The charmed ones began to chant but before they could vanquish Eve, she suddenly blinked out of sight much to their confusion.
“What the hell just happened?” Pan asked them both.
“I have absolutely no idea.” Paul replied.
“You almost found yourself vanquished by the charmed ones after allowing them to rid the woogy from your son if we didn’t pull our powers together in time you would be dead.” One of the three robed triad members said to Eve who appeared in front of them within a blink in the caves of the Underworld.
“Well it’s a good thing I hand picked my new triad very wisely then.” Eve replied to them.
“You should’ve never let it get so close.” Another triad member shouted at the source before removing his hood to reveal himself as Eric Morgan.
“Things aren’t that easy father!” Eve snapped at him. “Having a son who’s a charmed one is bound to complicate some things.”
“Now is not the time to grow sentimental we need Drake on our side whether he wants to be or not especially after dealing with his rather annoying human.” Eric or at least the demon inside of Eric Morgan told his daughter.
“Which human?” Eve asked before realizing. “What did you do to the detective?”
Pan went to knock the door of Lacey’s family home only to be left alarmed after noticing the door was slightly open by itself knowing a detective would never leave their home open especially not her detective she decided to walk into her girlfriend’s home.
“Lacey!” Pan shouted as she walked through the foyer of the Morgan family home only to be left horrified to find Lacey’s lifeless and blood covered body laying on the floor of the living room causing her to scream frantically as she ran over to Lacey, kneeling over and picking up her body into her arms. “No, Lacey you can’t be gone! Lacey!”
Pan continued to scream her girlfriend’s name repeated as she sobbed over the lifeless body of the woman she loved.

Paul found himself frantically walking up and down the foyer of the Halliwell Manor late at night which had become a part of his routine for the last two weeks while Pan sat on the stairs completely exhausted with her head buried in a mug of coffee looking anything but pleased for being kept up especially for the fourteenth night in a row.
“Paul, we seriously need to stop doing this every night.” Pan moaned as she took a huge sip from her coffee mug. “I miss sleep so much.”
“I can’t help it Penny I’m just not going to be able to sleep knowing he’s out there living alone.” Paul replied. “I wish he would stop being so bloody stubborn and just move in with us already.”
“So, you’re basically telling me I’m doomed and will never sleep again.” Pan responded.
“You don’t need to stay with me every night.” Paul told her as he stopped walking and stood in front of his sister.
“If I don’t stay up with you then there’s nobody to calm you down and stop you from trying to kidnap the poor kid.” Pan admitted rather bluntly.
“I know I’ve been acting like a paranoid mess recently,” Paul replied as he sat down on the stairs next to his sister. “It’s just this news about a new evil rising has really thrown me and I hate the fact he’s out there alone.”
“Quinn is there ever night making so he’s safe I know it’d be easier for us all if Drake moved in, but we need to respect his boundaries, or we could lose him for good this time.” Pan warned her brother.
“You guys should really think about trying to get some sleep.” Quinn told them both as he orbed into the foyer.
“What took you so long to check in with us?” Paul asked his white lighter.
“If I’m being honest, I found it strange spying on him, so I just orbed into his apartment and was like hey either I spy on you or you let me make myself comfy and chill with you. Anyway, long story short we wound up having a movie marathon, I fell asleep on the couch and now he’s off to make an early start on some case files at work.” Quinn explained to Paul and Pan.
“That’s it we’re going to have to convince him to move in it’s the only solution to all this madness.” Paul declared causing both Pan and Quinn to roll their eyes at him before Pan finished the rest of her coffee and stood up causing Paul to ask her. “Where are you going?”
“To fill up my mug with more coffee or maybe alcohol depending on which irrational thought next crosses your mind.” Pan replied before beginning to walk towards the kitchen.
“Do you think I’m being irrational?” Paul asked Quinn.
“Well there has only been a total of two demonic attacks over two weeks both of which were the first night you met him.” Quinn said, politely trying to hint that Pan was right.
“That’s two attacks too many the Underworld is clearly plotting something and he’s all alone out there.” Paul replied as he stood back up. “That’s it I’m going to convince him to move in whether he likes it or not.”
“I’m telling you I have never seen someone so scared of horror movies before.” Drake laughed with Lacey as the two of them walked into the San Francisco Police Department building. “It’s highly ironic considering his line of work.”
“Quinn’s a bartender I fail to see any irony.” Lacey replied as the two of them continued to walk down a hallway.
“Drunk people can be scary especially when it comes to last call.” Drake bluffed, clearly meaning Quinn’s job as a white lighter and not a bartender.
“So, what inspired this little movie night anyway?” Lacey asked her friend. “Please tell me this is you finally getting back into the dating game because lord knows it’s been a long dry spell.”
“I can be friends with other people without wanting to get them into bed.” Drake scoffed before changing the subject. “How are things with you and Pan anyway?”
“Well since you found out she’s your long-lost sister things have taken a rather weird turn.” Lacey admitted as the two of them began walking up a set of stairs.
“Hey, I went out with your brother which granted isn’t the best example, but we got through that and we’ll get through you and Pan.” Drake replied as the two detectives continued to walk up the stairs. “I like Pan well as much as one person can like a sister, they only learned existed a couple of weeks ago and I think you should just ignore recent reveals and follow your feelings.”
“I’ll give things a shot with Pan when you finally get yourself a love life.” Lacey told him as they reached the top of the stairs and began walking down another hallway.
“Quinn and I are just friends,” Drake claimed before crashing into a tall brown-haired male stranger, neither of them looking where they were going.
“I’m so sorry,” The stranger apologised. “I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“That’s okay I was too busy talking myself to pay attention.” Drake replied with a flirtatious smile clearly liking the look of this handsome stranger.
“Maybe I could take you for a drink sometime to apologize properly.” The stranger suggested to Drake while Lacey stood there looking unimpressed with the two of them.
“Do you often ask people out in a police station?” Drake asked clearly flirting back with the stranger.
“No, I don’t but then again I don’t see people that look as good as you every day.” The stranger continued to flirt making Drake let out a nervous laugh while Lacey rolled her eyes over the cheesiness of the pick-up line.
“Well I’m always down for a drink or too.” Drake replied before pulling out his card and handing it to Dante. “Here’s my number.”
“Great,” The stranger replied as he took the card and quickly read it before going on to say. “My name’s Ash Anderson I look forward to calling you Drake Black.”
“I look forward to answering that call Ash Anderson.” Drake admitted before Ash began to walk away as he looked at Lacey finally noticing her disapproval.
“I don’t think Quinn will be too impressed you’re about to go on a date with someone that’s not him.” Lacey said clearly disapproving of Ash Anderson.
“For the last time Quinn and I are just friends.” Drake said with a sigh.
Paul was busy working away on his computer sitting at his desk within his office at Stevens and Summers Law firm when Drake suddenly blinked into the room luckily Paul had been keeping his office door shut recently following Quinn’s constant orbing into his office.
“Not that it’s not good to see you Drake but you should probably make sure you didn’t blink in here when I had client.” Paul told him. “A text would suffice.”
“I’ll start sending texts before dropping in when you start sending texts before getting Quinn to stalk me.” Drake replied bluntly.
“I had a feeling you’d bring that up at some point,” Paul said as he stood up from his chair. “It’s Quinn’s job to keep an eye on all his charges he’s merely just doing his job with a little nudge from me.”
“I get there’s some evil rising within the Underworld and I also get how that makes all three of us targets for all things demonic but I know how to handle myself I deal with danger everyday being a cop and you wouldn’t believe how handy being able to handle myself was with folk got handsy during my stripper days.” Drake revealed to him.
“Hold up you used to be a stripper?” Paul asked in shock by his secret son’s revelation.
“My point is I’ve been taking care of myself for a long time and I don’t need white lighters stalking me.” Drake explained. “If I do wind up needing Quinn, he’s only ever one shout away.”
“Human dangers are nothing compared to demons and you’re still new to all of this I just don’t believe you’re ever going to be truly safe until you agree to move in with us.” Paul replied, once again pushing for Drake to move into the Halliwell Manor.
“Look I get that my life is more dangerous these days now that I’m a charmed one but I refuse to live in fear or to move in with two people I didn’t even know two weeks ago to appease your concerns.” Drake made himself clear. “I’ve agreed to the witch duties but if you keep forcing my hand on the family front, I’ll need to start reconsidering everything.”
“What does that mean?” Paul asked, fearing Drake’s response.
“It means I had a family a family that didn’t ditch me a family that loved me no matter what and I’m not being strong handed into being a part of another family that I quite frankly don’t want to be a part of.” Drake harshly admitted.
Pan was busy taking stock of the club’s supplies writing into a large black book behind the counter of P3 when her phone which was placed on the counter next to her began to ring making her placed the book on the counter as she looked over at her phone to see it was Lacey calling.
“Hi,” Pan said after answering the phone eagerly. “I didn’t expect to be hearing from you but I’m glad I am.”
“I’m not going to lie finding out you were my best friend’s long-lost sister threw me.” Lacey replied from the other end of the phone.
“Yeah it was a huge shock for us all a shock we’re all still trying to come to terms with.” Pan admitted.
“I can only imagine how much all this has your all spiraling I know Drake’s definitely struggling to adjust to it all.” Lacey revealed before going on to say. “I actually called because I was wondering if you fancied going out tonight? I totally get if things are too weird now.”
“I’d love to go out with you.” Pan responded while smiling from ear to ear before noticing Quinn orbing into the club. “I’ve got to go now that’s the bar staff just walked in but text me the details and I’ll see you tonight.”
“Was that Lacey?” Quinn asked with excitement after Pan hung up the phone and placed it back on to the bar counter. “I’m so glad you’re giving things a shot with her she’s a lovely woman and I just love a good love story.”
“Yeah well don’t be marrying me off anytime soon it’s only a date and probably the last date if I run off again.” Pan admitted to her white lighter.
“I’ve just had word from the elders that a new source of all evil has been crowned in the Underworld.” Quinn revealed much to Pan’s shock.
“So, that was clearly the new evil which was rising.” Pan replied with a worried look on her face. “Drake’s only just coming into his powers and we’ve only just became the charmed ones we are far from ready to take on the source of all evil.”
“Well this new source hasn’t seemed to make any attacks yet and we’re still trying to work out who the new source is but it would be safe to assume whoever it is will be making you, Paul and Drake their number one targets.” Quinn admitted.
“Okay, so what are we supposed to do?” Pan asked, eager for some advice from her friend.
“Well we need to crack down on Drake’s training he’s come pretty far already in a short space of time but we need him to get even further and as for Paul’s suggestion about Drake moving in well I’m beginning to think that’s a really good idea.” Quinn explained to her charge.
“So, Paul’s paranoia really has been justified all this time makes sense his intuition would be on point when he’s the Halliwell with premonitions.” Pan responded. “Drake’s not going to move in with us he maybe coming around to the idea of being a charmed one but the family part’s going to take more time than what we have.”
“Drake’s had a rough life and that makes things complicated when it comes to family matters so it’s only normal he’d take some time to accept you and Paul and it sure doesn’t help that Drake doesn’t know the full truth.” Quinn said honestly.
“Yeah I was really hoping Paul would’ve told him the truth I hate having to lie to him.” Pan revealed.
“I’ll give it another shot trying to persuade him to move in but he’s very stubborn so it could get tricky.” Quinn told her.
“He gets his stubbornness from his father.” Pan scoffed.
“So, you actually bit the bullet and finally asked Pan out for another date.” Drake said to Lacey with a smile on his face as the two of them sat in their cop car with Drake in the driving seat and Lacey in the passenger as they were on their break drinking coffees.
“As long as she doesn’t blow me off again or find anymore skeletons in her closet this may be a successful date.” Lacey replied as she took a drink from her coffee.
“Everybody has skeletons in their closets Lacey I mean you’ve not exactly dropped the fact that your brother is in prison and that’s because it’s your business.” Drake explained to his best friend. “You’re not supposed to know everything about a person after a few dates don’t put so much stress into it and I’m sure you will both be fine.”
Drake and Lacey’s conversation was interrupted when his phone sent him notification of a text and so he pulled out his phone from his jacket to read a text which said “Dinner tonight? It’s Ash by the way.”
“Well that Ash guy is certainly keen.” Drake stated with a nervous laugh.
“Is that a good or a bad thing?” Lacey asked her best-friend.
“Yeah I suppose it is.” Drake replied unconvincingly.
“It’s probably case of the right interest from the wrong guy,” Lacey said as she noticed from out of her car window that Quinn was standing in the street in front of them and nudged Drake to have a look. “Maybe the right guy is right in front of you.”
“Hey how’s your day going?” Quinn asked Drake as Drake walked over to him on the streets of San Francisco as Lacey remained in her car eagerly watching the two of them.
“I’ve just had it out with Paul about spying on me can’t anyone respect my boundaries?” Drake moaned.
“This isn’t a case of boundaries of privacy it’s a case of safety things are getting even more dangerous and I’m afraid as your white lighter I’m going to insist that you move into the Halliwell Manor.” Quinn replied. “Please?”
“Nobody seems to give a damn about what I want you all just want me to follow your rules but to hell with hell, to hell with you and to hell with the lot of you.” Drake snapped having had way too much for one day of being a charmed one.
“We’re not trying to be bossy or force you into following our rules we’re just trying to keep you safe.” Quinn pleaded with him.
“I’ve spent a long time keeping myself safe and I’d say I’ve done a good job of it.” Drake responded. “I don’t need you or Paul patronizing me all the time I’m a grown man and I follow nobody’s rules but my own.”
“I understand that but...” Quinn began to say.
“I’m done!” Drake butted in before storming off towards the car in which Lacey was sitting in much to Quinn’s dismay.
“Already hitting the drink I’m guessing today’s been a hard one.” Pan said to her brother Paul as she walked into the dining area of the Halliwell Manor to see Paul sat at the table drinking a glass of whisky.
“Drake came by my office today and made it pretty damn clear he’s not my biggest fan right now.” Paul revealed as he took another drink from his glass. “Maybe I should start laying off him about moving in.”
“Actually, I agree with your previous stance we definitely need to convince Drake to move in with us.” Pan replied as Paul finished his drink.
“Why are you suddenly on my side?” Paul asked as he placed his glass on the table. “This can’t be good.”
“Quinn told me there’s a new source of all evil so I’m on side with making Drake move in with us because frankly the though of a new source terrifies me.” Pan admitted to her older brother.
“I knew the Underworld was up to something I just wasn’t sure what.” Paul said while in shock by Pan’s admission. “Do the elders have any idea who the new source is?”
“They have no idea as of yet but let’s face it we’ll all find out soon enough.” Pan responded as she turned around and started walking towards the stairs.
“Are you heading to the book of shadows?” Paul asked as he stood up and began walking with Pan into the foyer.
“No, I’m going to get ready for a date tonight.” Pan revealed as the two of them stopped at the bottom of the stairs within the foyer.
“We should probably focus on convincing Drake to move in first.” Paul told his younger sister.
“Yeah I figure you and Quinn could handle that tonight and if it doesn’t go to plan, I’ll give it a shot tomorrow when I’ve got time.” Pan replied.
“Oh, I’m sorry that protecting my son from the source of all freaking evil isn’t as important as your love life.” Paul snapped.
“Let me make myself clear dear brother I’m not going to be made to feel guilty over trying to fit some happiness into this exhausting life we live.” Pan snapped back. “Sure, I know this date isn’t the best timing, but something is always going down and there’ll never be any good timing.”
“I’m sorry,” Paul apologized, realizing he was in the wrong for snapping at his sister. “What I said wasn’t fair I know you need to have outside of all of this.”
“You’re right it wasn’t fair,” Pan replied with an exhausted sigh before going on to say. “It’s also not fair that we’re still lying to Drake everyday that we see him and yet we’re all trying to force his hand into trusting us. You should’ve have lied to him.”
“I was stupid and careless and so beyond terrified that he’d wind up hating me like he does anyways.” Paul admitted.
“He doesn’t hate you he’s just trying to adjust to all this I mean we still have troubling with this life, and we’ve known about it a lot longer than he has.” Pan said as she placed her hand on her brother’s shoulder, trying to reassure him. “Look if you and Quinn can’t manage to convince him get Quinn to come and get me but only if things don’t go to plan.”
“Thanks Pan, I love you.” Paul replied.
“I love you too but you’re a never-ending pain in my ass.” Pan admitted.
Paul walked into the kitchen of the Halliwell family home holding his empty glass preparing to refill it with some whisky when suddenly he was hit by a premonition, the shock of the premonition causing him to drop his glass, the glass smashing into pieces upon hitting the ground.
Paul sees Drake and Ash walk into an alleyway together in his premonition before Drake is left looking horrified when Ash’s eyes went completely black ending Paul’s premonition just in time for Quinn to orb into the kitchen.
“You have premonition face, what did you see?” His white lighter asked him.
“I saw a demon attacking Drake,” Paul said with a sense of dread on his face. “I need you to orb over there right now while I get to work on making some potions.”
“Shouldn’t I get Pan also? I mean she does have the most explosive powers so to speak.” Quinn suggested to the eldest Halliwell witch.
“It didn’t look like a particularly powerful demon we’ll only involve her if we wind up needing her.” Paul told Quinn.
“I guess you got a lecture about her having a social life again.” Quinn laughed.
“Yeah,” Paul admitted. “Now please go and check up on Drake.”
“Remind me again why we’ve met up before going on our dates?” Lacey asked Drake while the two stood in Drake’s kitchen, each of them holding a glass of white wine.
“Because we both get extremely nervous and have to have booze before attempting to come across charming.” Drake admitted to his best-friend.
“Now I understand,” Lacey laughed before taking a drink of her wine. “So, what’s the deal with your long-lost family? I mean you clearly like Pan or else you wouldn’t be pushing me to go out with her unless you’re just desperate to get rid of.”
“Their hard work to be honest it’s just too much for me I mean I like Pan and I don’t hate Paul but they’re just too much.” Drake revealed. “I haven’t got close to anyone new since my parents died and I don’t want to dishonor their memory by accepting this new family into my life.”
“Your parents would never want you to reject a chance of having family again and you wouldn’t be replacing them by getting to know where you came from.” Lacey replied to her best-friend. “If anything, they’d be relieved that there’s people out there trying so hard to be part of your life.”
“They have a really strong sibling bond together I’m just this half brother their mother threw away I’m nothing like either of them. I don’t want to push myself to let them in just to get hurt again.” Drake said honestly as tears began falling down his cheeks before he started to dry his own eyes.
“Okay let’s cut this pity party right now I know you went through some horrible stuff because I was there by your side for every single storm that came your way and despite it all your still an amazing person who they’d both be lucky to get to know.” Lacey told Drake as she finished her glass of wine. “You don’t know if you’re anything like Paul or Pan until you actually get to know them.”
“They’re trying to push me into moving in with them.” Drake revealed as he finished off his own glass of wine.
“Well clearly they like you but maybe too much that’s a big ask after only two weeks.” Lacey admitted to Drake as they both placed their empty glasses on the kitchen counter. “Even if it wasn’t so bloody soon, you’re hardly the sharing type.”
“Hey, I can share when I want to.” Drake said, defending himself.
“Please you were a spoiled child and that’s hard to hide.” Lacey replied.
“Well you’re looking to die for.” Ash said with a flirtatious smirk the minute Drake opened the apartment door to him only to walk in to see Lacey stood at the kitchen counter with a fresh glass of wine in her hand.
“Seriously you need to stop with the cheese.” Lacey told Ash before taking a drink of her wine.
“Never mind my friend she’s always got her foot in her mouth.” Drake apologised to Ash. “Shall we get going before she winds up putting you off me.”
“That’s not possible.” Ash replied with charm.
“Sleazy.” Lacey mumbled into her glass of wine while taking another drink.
“Are you okay to lock up?” Drake asked Lacey.
“Yeah I’ll lock up but don’t forget your gun Drake.” Lacey replied to Drake, attempting to make Ash feel uncomfortable.
“She’s just kidding,” Drake said as he laughed awkwardly while opening his front door.
“No, she’s not,” Lacey shouted as Drake and Ash walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind them. “Have him home by eleven!”
Lacey finished the rest of her wine before placing the empty glass on the kitchen counter as she turned around and opened the fridge in search of more wine having her back to Quinn as he orbed into Drake’s apartment.
“Oh, hey Lacey!” Quinn said to her, clearly surprised to see her there.
“Did you just let yourself in?” She asked him after closing the fridge and walking over to her glass while holding another bottle of wine. “You should probably knock before walking into places.”
“Quinn normally doesn’t mind me walking in.” Quinn replied to her.
“That was probably before you wound him up today I’m not a lip reader so I have no idea what that argument was about but I know you wound him up which means you wound me up.” Lacey told him as she poured white wine into her glass. “I’m hoping you’re here to apologize although you’ve literally just missed him. How didn’t you see him in the hallway?”
“I’m not sure he must’ve taken the elevator whereas I took the stairs.” Quinn lied.
“The elevator’s been broken for a week.” Lacey replied while taking a drink of her wine, clearly becoming suspicious of the white lighter.
“Where has he gone?” Quinn asked Lacey hoping to avoid how she just caught him out on a lie.
“You don’t fool me for a second Jason Quinn.” Lacey stated. “You’ve clearly seen him with a hot guy knew I’d be here and came to me for the gossip.”
“You know me so well can tell you’re a detective.” Quinn replied with a nervous laugh, happy to not have been caught out.
“I’m not into guys but if I were into guys, he’d be top of the list.” Lacey revealed to Quinn knowing it would make him jealous. “I guess you missed your shot with him.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” He asked her.
“Come on Quinn it’s obvious you’re into him,” Lacey told him as she placed her wine glass back on to the counter. “And until today it was obvious, he was into you until you messed up but I’m sure if you act quick you could win him back. I have a feeling he only went on this date because you pissed him off today.”
“Drake and I are just friends.” Quinn lied unconvincingly as he tried to hide his growing feelings for his charge.
“Well that’s all use is ever going to be if you keep that up.” Lacey said honestly.
“Where did Drake go with this allegedly hot guy?” Quinn wondered.
“See now that’s the attitude I’ve been waiting to see.” Lacey replied with excitement in her voice. “I’ll go get my phone and text him not letting on I’m asking for you and then you can go get your man.”
Drake found himself having a great time while out for dinner with Ash in a little San Francisco restaurant called Quake as they sat at a table placed opposite each other while the two of them were drinking wine.
“So, what’s the deal with you and you’re cop friend?” Ash asked him.
“I’ve known her since I was kid we became best friends, we lived on the same street and I used to go out with her brother so we have a lot of history together not to mention my boss at SFPD is her dad.” Drake revealed to him.
“I’m guessing she’s still hoping you reunite with her brother and that’s why she doesn’t like me.” Ash replied.
“Oh god no that would never happen for so many reasons and she wouldn’t want it to happen either.” Drake admitted. “That’s in the past and I’m only looking forward from now on.”
“That’s what I like to hear.” Ash responded as he placed his hand on Drake’s causing Drake to smile at the man, he had no idea was a demon.
“What do you do for work? I mean it’s only fair you tell me considering you literally met me in my workplace.” Drake asked Ash after removing his hand from his and taking another drink.
“I’m like a personal assistant to a very fiery boss the woman is forever keeping me on my toes but at least I can say I’m never bored.” Ash admitted before taking a drink of his wine. “Has anyone ever told you that you have the most beautiful eyes?”
“Seriously that line was cheesy for me and I love cheesy lines.” Drake responded with a laugh.
“Forgive me for trying to impress you as much as possible.” Ash said as he once again smiled at the charmed detective.
“It doesn’t take much to impress me just cut the cheese and be yourself.” Drake told him.
“I have a feeling you’re going to be hard work.” Ash replied as he touched Drake’s hand once more. “It’s a good thing I like a challenge.”
Drake and Ash look into each other’s eyes with a sense of intensity that could only come from two people wanting each other until their longing glaze was interrupted when Drake noticed Celine Dion herself coming to the stage of the dance-floor within the renovated restaurant as the singer began to sing her song Ashes.
“Is this the part where you ask me to dance?” Drake asked his date, pretending not to want to dance to the song.
“Please humor me, will you?” Ash requested as he stood up from his chair and held out his hand which Drake then grabbed.
Drake and Ash wasted no time in walking over to the dance-floor not noticing Quinn orbing himself outside of the restaurant window as Drake and his handsome date began dancing to Celine’s performance while not stopping once from looking into each other’s eyes as Quinn continued to spy looking more and more hurt by what he was spying on.
Lacey walked into P3 surprised to find the place completely empty except for Pan standing behind the bar counter making her smile instantly as she walked over to her date and sat down at the bar.
“Did you really close this entire club just for me?” Lacey asked the Halliwell witch.
“I figured with all the things that have got in our way lately I didn’t want anything distracting us tonight.” Pan admitted as she pulled out a bottle of wine from under the counter along with two wine glasses and began pouring herself and Lacey a drink.
“Well consider me impressed.” Lacey replied with a smile which made Pan smile in response.
“I know with the club opening and the whole Drake situation that things have got complicated, but I want to try and uncomplicate things between us.” Pan revealed to Lacey as she handed her a drink.
“Learning the girl, I like is my best friend’s long-lost sister was definitely a cure ball.” Lacey admitted causing Pan’s face to light up.
“So, you still like me then?” Pan asked with an awkward smile on her face.
“I suppose I do yes.” Lacey responded before Pan leaned over the counter and kissed her softly on the lips.
“I like you too.” Pan replied.
“So, did you warn Drake about my premonition?” Paul asked Quinn after Quinn orbed into the kitchen where Paul was busy making a potion.
“He was kind of busy with his date I didn’t want to interrupt until I got you.” Quinn revealed to the eldest Halliwell witch. “I’m hoping this date was the demon so we should probably get a move on.”
“You mean guessing not hoping right?” Paul said, believing he was correcting the white lighter.
“Yeah that’s what I meant.” Quinn lied.
“Was the date male or female because the demon was a male?” Paul questioned him.
“It was a male so we definitely should get going right now.” Quinn urged Paul. “Let’s get to vanquishing this son of a bitch already.”
“Okay well you seem a little more keen than normal, but I like your attitude.” Paul replied.
“I must admit I never would’ve taken you for much of a dancer.” Ash told Drake as they were now sitting back at their table smiling away at each other while Celine Dion started singing flying on my own.
“If you must know before I was a detective I used to strip and I’m not ashamed of it either because I was bloody good.” Drake boasted.
“Well all I’ve got to say is I’m going to need to see proof sometime.” Ash replied to him.
“Keep playing your cards right and you soon will.” Drake said flirtatiously.
“I don’t know if you like to...” Ash began to say.
“Your place or mine?” Drake asked finishing the sentence for him.

Drake Black lived a relatively normal life as a former stripper turned rookie detective believing his stripping past was the most exciting thing about him until he went from being a rookie cop within the San Francisco Police Department to discovering he was a half witch half demon hybrid in just one day.
“It’s times like these I really begin to wonder why the hell I became a detective.” Drake moaned to his best friend and fellow cop partner Lacey Morgan as they stepped out of Lacey’s car stopped in the streets of San Francisco before heading down a nearby alleyway.
“Even the more eccentric people of the world need protection Tristan and let’s face it San Francisco is the city of eccentrics.” Lacey replied as they continued to walk down the alleyway. “Who knows if you’re nice enough to the lady she may even give you a free reading.”
“Please,” Drake scoffed. “If she was a real psychic, she wouldn’t be needing our help, or she would’ve called in advance.”
“Who says she didn’t call us in before the mugging?” Lacey teased her friend as they continued to walk down the alleyway.
“Maybe you should take that free reading considering you’re the one crazy enough to believe in all that hocus pocus?” Drake suggested to her not realizing the irony in this conversation.
“You know I don’t believe in most psychic’s most of them are just legally mugging people, but I do believe in some of them.” Lacey admitted as the two of them stopped in front of the psychic readings shop which had a bright red door.
“Yeah well consider me a bit sucker punched that we’re pandering to more psychics in this just then actually doing proper police work.” Drake moaned before loudly banging on the red door and shouting. “Open up it’s the police.”
“Good job not frightening the victim of the crime.” Lacey said to him.
“Well we are the police, aren’t we?” Drake asked sarcastically.
