Yandere x Reader Focus: This is primarily a dark/yandere fanfic blog. Occasionally, I might write normal character x Reader fics.

Reader POV: Mostly gender-neutral, but I may adjust depending on the story.

Trigger Warnings: I always tag sensitive content (angst, NSFW, dark themes, etc.).

Platonic Yandere Fics: Expect unique dynamics like Yandere Parent x Child Reader, Yandere Sibling x Reader, and other non-romantic scenarios.

Yandere x Dere Reader Tropes: I may explore different relationship dynamics, including Tsundere Reader, Kuudere Reader, and more.

Help us save as many (Fandom) Yahoo! Groups as possible!

tl;dr - we (ArchiveTeam) need help to save as much of Yahoo Groups as possible. Link at bottom of post.

Yahoo is deleting the archives of all Yahoo Group’s on December 14 2019.

The files, photos, attachments, links, polls and calendars of all groups are only visible to group members. This content is outside the scope of a typical ArchiveTeam grab, and unless action is taken will be lost on December 14.

Additionally, to combat spam, many groups restricted what content non-members could see. Many of these groups also allowed anyone to join with no approval from an admin. Since all the content of these groups is restricted, it will not be preserved (again, unless action is taken).

Signing up to a group requires a reCaptcha to be completed. There isn't a way to automatically join groups (for understandable reasons - groups would have been overrun with spam… well, more than they were).

We need volunteers to manually join as many groups as they can, by filling out reCaptchas.

We’ve written a Chrome extension that links to a tracker to coordinate efforts. If you’re up for completing a bunch of reCaptcha’s for us, you could really make a difference! If everyone reading this just completed a few, it would be an enormous help!

It should also be noted that some fine people who are interested in fandom history have sent us some lists of fandom-specific Yahoo Groups. In our extension, currently those groups are prioritised over all the others, so if you help, you'll be directly helping save fandom history.
