Husband, ONS, BFF: HIStory Edition
Yu Hao (Crossing the Line)
Hao Ting (MODC)
Tang Yi (Trapped)
[Sorry, I have a bunch of these in my brain and in my debate about sending more, I figured you can ignore them if you don't want to answer a few more from me. Thanks! 🙂]
Oh my god the HIStory boys!
I would marry Yu Hao because he has Fandy Fan's face, and also he's so smitten with his partner. He also brings the least baggage of all of them.
I would be BFFs with Hao Ting. I feel like I can understand his grief and I wouldn't ever give up on being his friend since he's never going to recover.
I would ONS Tang Yi. That man has a temper, and also a gun. Once is enough. He can go back to his mafia-to-landlord pipeline.
Sent Me a Trio for Husband/ONS/BFF

Ikhsan Fandi double fires Singapore to 3-0 win over Myanmar in Suzuki Cup opener
SINGAPORE: There were pyrotechnics prior to Singapore’s AFF Suzuki Cup opener with Myanmar and striker Ikhsan Fandi ensured the fireworks continued on the pitch on Sunday (Dec 5) as his clinical brace gave the Lions a 3-0 win at the National Stadium.
In front of an enthusiastic crowd of 7,588, first half goals from Ikhsan and defender Safuwan Baharudin fired the Lions to top spot in Group A, ahead of second placed Thailand. The Thais beat minnows Timor Leste 2-0 in the first game of the tournament.
After a tournament opening ceremony that boasted a drone show, an appearance from FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and lots of fireworks, it was Myanmar who began the brighter of the two sides, causing some problems down the right flank.
The Lions' tentative start was down to a bit of nerves, said Singapore head coach Tatsuma Yoshida after the game, but the team would slowly impose themselves.
For the Lions, it was the tireless Song Ui-young that looked to be the main threat, as the newly naturalised Singaporean played Faris Ramli through on goal in the 14th minute, only for a combination of the turf and Myanmar goalkeeper Myo Min Latt to deny the nippy forward.
"I felt that I wasn't settled down in the game for the first 20 minutes to be honest, had to find my rhythm," said man of the match Ikhsan.
"But you take time to adapt to games like this, in a tournament like this, and once we got it rolling, we see the team start to move well together, and we found our rhythm and then we found our goals. So I think it's just normal in a competition like this."
Prior to the game, the Football Association of Singapore had announced that all seats allocated for Singapore fans had been sold out, and these supporters were soon roaring with delight when Safuwan’s header evaded the Myanmar goalkeeper in the 34th minute.
Then it was the Ikhsan show, as the FK Jerv striker scored a clinical double - the first an angled drive and the next a solid header from a Shahdan Sulaiman set piece to give Singapore the lead going into the half.
Myanmar tried to claw their way back in the second 45, but struggled to fashion a clear-cut chance early on. The closest they came was the 55th minute when Hassan was forced to a save down his right.
But Singapore were still in control of the game and also created a couple of chances of their own, with Song as well as Safuwan going close.
Then came Myanmar’s best chance of the game as substitute Win Naing Tun cut in past his man, only to hammer a shot straight at Hassan Sunny.
With Singapore loose with possession on a few occasions, Win would come close again several minutes later, this time flicking a header just wide.
"The first match is always important for the team, but we got three points and that's the most important thing," said Yoshida, who lauded his team's fighting spirit.
"I'm proud of them, of their performance, but we can be better, we have to improve for the next."
The Lions will be aiming to make the knockout stages of the Suzuki Cup for the first time since 2012, when they went on to lift the trophy under coach Raddy Avramovic.
In the last edition of the tournament in 2018, the Lions were knocked out in the group stages. Despite wins over Indonesia and Timor-Leste, Singapore fell to a 1-0 defeat to the Philippines and were beaten 3-0 by Thailand.
The Lions finished third in the group with six points, with the top two nations progressing.
Singapore will next face the Philippines on Wednesday. The Azkals have yet to play a game at the tournament.
The AFF Suzuki Cup was set to be held last year, but was later pushed back to April this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later rescheduled for a second time.
It will run from Sunday to Jan 1 next year.
Unlike the 2018 tournament which was held on a home-and-away basis, this year's edition is only held in one country - Singapore -  due to the pandemic.

Why isn’t bull fighting illegal around the world? This “sport” seems so barbaric.
I don´t know how about the whole world, it´s probably their tradition. There are several bull-related sports in the world - even in India, where cows are considered sacred!
As for the Spanish-speaking countries, the south of France and Portugal, where the traditional Spanish toreo / Portuguese rejoneo are practiced, let me tell you a secret:
IT´S NOT A SPORT.
Contrary to the popular Anglo-Saxon belief that is completely wrong on so many levels - and which many knowing people have been trying to dispel for ages - Spanish bullfighting is not a sport but a “PERFORMANCE ART WITH A LIVE ANIMAL.”
Confusing, huh? How can animal-torture-by-definition be a cultural thing, or even considered an art, you ask? Let me explain.
In Spain, bullfighting is advertised in the Arts or Toros section of the newspapers. It is not SCORED like football or tennis, and there is no winner, which is why it never appears in the Deportes section. Because it is not a sport, there is no element of fair play, which is a concept that was created by the Brits in the 19th century. Bullfighting is generally understood as an art, and as such is treated that way. When you open Spanish newspapers, you will find it either in the section Culture, Art, or Toros. And it will stand right next to reviews of paintings, poetry, books, CDs, concerts, or movies.
As for the survival of the art, it hasn´t been banned yet because, love it or hate it, bullfighting is:
considered a Spanish tradition and it is therefore culturally protected by the law as a part of national heritage (since cca 2009)
loved by a third (30 per cent) of the Spanish nation, and also by various aficionados around the world
The animal rights activists like to claim that it was them who had bullfighting banned in the region of Catalonia, but that is far away from the truth. Their protests were actually not that significant; it was a political decision made by the Catalonian populists. They were trying to demonstrate that they were willing to cut themselves from everything that was perceived “stereotypically Spanish”. There was also always a lack of historical bullfighting tradition in that area, just as there was in many others.
UPDATE: I have just found out (two years later!) that bullfighting was quietly reinstated in Catalonia in 2016. In January 2019, it has been planned to oficially start again in the Plaza de Olot. Also, other parts of Spanish-held territories (e.g. Balearic Islands) have been renewing their bullfighting traditions, albeit not always with particular excitement.
The animalists also say that 73 per cent of Spanish people absolutely hate corrida. That is also a distorted figure. Only 5 per cent of Spanish people actively fight against corrida and want it banned. The rest of them state that they are not strongly pro or strongly against it. In other words, they don´t care. But when there is a big national holiday, lots of these very people come to see the greatest bullfighting stars because - guess what - it´s simply a tradition.
But whenever they show bullfighting on TV in Anglo-Saxon countries, the stands are mostly empty, so what tradition are we talking about, you will say..? Well, that´s also easy to explain. Most of the corridas that the tourists get to visit are NOT the one with seasoned Matadors de Toros (yes, that´s an earned title) but the ones with Novilleros de Toros (aka the novices of the art), or with low-ranking Matadors. The novices are dressed in the same outfit, but they are considerably younger and therefore lacking the skills. They are still in the process of learning, so to speak. Which is why very few locals go see them, and which is the reason why you´ll always find little boys wandering around the Plaza de Toros, desperately selling or sometimes even handing out tickets for free to tourists, so that they would find at least somebody who would go see the spectacle.
But you will have a considerably harder time finding tickets to big names like El Juli (a Peter Pan figure, does great Lopecinas), Morante de la Puebla (a sensitive and extravagant Bipolar artist), Enrique Ponce (most likely the best bullfighter in the world), El Fandi (the best Banderillero out of all Matadors), José Mari Manzanares (great beauty, humility, and a great killing technique), Cayetano Rivera (an heir to a bullfighting dynasty connected to Hemingway, skilled and handsome AF), or even Andrés Roca Rey (reckless but likeable crowd-pleaser; and many others). And you probably won´t be able to find tickets to the most bankable matador of all times, José Tomás (the bravest and the most stoic man of them all). This hardened guy, who is one of the few matadors who own a medal from the Spanish king, is maybe even more popular than Madonna. Last time he was fighting - and he only fights once a year - the tickets to his bullfight were completely sold in only a few hours.
Seriously. Bullfighting is in decline, but not in such a decline that the Anglo-Saxon newspapers like to claim. There are even new bullrings being made, and the attendence of bullfighting schools by the youth rose in the last year by 20–30 per cent. So unless it is banned by the Spanish politicians (and the central Madrid parliament will never do that, they will overrule it, like they always do), the practice will probably take some time to completely dissapear.
EDIT: If you are not a Spanish-speaking native or simply not a fan of bullfighting and you want to know more about it, I will be happy if you read my other answers about it. You will find all the good and bad sides of it there. No lies or misconceptions, all truth… albeit maybe little brutal for some ears.
