5. What type of canon character and/or OC do you think has good design? (And why?)

I really love Idia's design (sure that's no surprise) I think the idea of his hair, looks and personality came together to make a very fun character. I also think he's one of the most expressive characters.

I enjoy the subtleties in Riddles design, even if it seems very plain he's nice to look at! Anytime he's in a card my eye gets drawn to him. Not to mention the whole Heartslabyul aesthetic looks great on him. His original card is one of my favs.

Jamil has a great design too, his hair, his eye shape, and he consistently has great outfits/cards. (Call him Ranch cuz he be dressin' and all that). Even though he may not be the most expressive he has an aloof air about him that really conveys his character.

For OC's ahhh its hard bc I love all my friends ocs designs. But off the top of my head, I really love the designs of @twst-the-night-away, @the27th, @cherryjkj, @the-trinket-witch, @oseathepebble, @vaporvipermedia and @bunnwich. @twst-the-night-away has great ocs one of my favs is who I did a commission of Sparky! He has interesting lore and backstory and I think is such a fun addition to Ignihyde. @the27th Has a Yu character design based on one of my fav old horror game, IB, his name is Yves and he's very cute and sweet! I love his concept and design. @cherryjkj Has a whole fandorm dedicated to Sugar Rush from Wreck it Ralph which is really fun and cool! And a cute Yuusona named Yuka whose design I love! @the-trinket-witch Has their character based of Mary Poppins Albert Eastwind who I can tell they put a lot of love into. They also have a great steam punk au! @oseathepebble Who created their MC Tsukiko who I adore! And a lot of other OC's my other favs are Damien and Adrian who are based off Cinderella's step sisters! @vaporvipermedia Has the wonderful Kei Yoshihiko and Blaze. I love their art style and how they design outfits and characters! They have wonderful lore too! (They have lots more Oc's but those stand out to me right now~) And of course, last but not least, my bff @bunnwich who has Yume's brother Yuuta as well as Del Lethe and Elie Akane. I really love how bun adapted our old OC's Del and Elie to the twst verse and have so much fun talking with them about theories, hcs, aus, and character analysis!

What is a Bestialhuman?

You probably have seen this word in the student's profiles. Now I must make clear this is a hc for my dorm soley this doesn't mean you or anyone has to take this hc seriously. You don't have to and seeing my ocs as the same species type as the Savanaclaw boys that's fine. Never take my hcs seriously never think you got to use my hcs. Please. 

I am fine if you do use say this hc for your own ocs that fit this and idk credit back to here so it's not misunderstood from my hc. You're free to make your own hc using this term i can't own it just don't twist my hc all i ask.

The HC ~ Bestialhumans

It's pretty obvious my ocs in here all have some unique features that are definitely not something you've seen in the Twst game but this is just a me thing I feel may have been hinted to in the manga but probably not.

A Bestialhuman is a uncommonish semi-complex twst species beasthuman with more beast features then commonly seen. They are slowly becoming more common.

Features:

All the features a normal Beasthuman has of the beast they are. (Ears,Tail,Horns)

Additional features that are uncommon to the above. (Waist,Pelvic area,Legs,Feet,and sometimes Unique Chest areas of Feminine Bestialhumans)

They usually grow or have more Hair/Fur

Heights of Bestialhumans are usually 7ft or higher due to legs but short Bestialhuman do exist aswell.

There's sexual dimorphism in bestialhumans carried over from the beasts they are yet it can vary.

Bestialhumans act slighty more instinctual and can be a bit more feral or act exactly like the beast they are mixed with human traits but more overly beast traited.

They tend to be made fun of or shunned by their families,friends,or community due to not understanding them.

They often are naturally gifted with the ability to speak the language of their beast and related species of said beast.

Beasts/Animals naturally feel Bestialhumans are nearly like them so friendships/bonds are easier to form.

Their lifespan extends past beasthumans and is hard to determine due to vast beast/animal varieties. Oldest living one documented is a turtle Bestialhuman man who is 500ish years old but this may be cause turtles live so long already and isn't the best ref to their lifespan.

Ears are more closer to horns as deers have then in a human position

Waist,Pelvic area,Legs,Feet all are of deer features not human

Hair grows very long regardless of him cutting it

Has extra deer fur in certain areas

Some beasts/animals naturally approach him as though he is an actual deer and befriend as such. Cats seem to be under this as they just naturally gravitate to him.

Damián has a tendency to need to do deer behaviors as he will headbutt other bucks playfully and yes has a point where the deer mating season affects him

He can naturally sleep outside,sleep standing up,survive eating big meal one day then go about 5 without eating again yet needs water daily

He also can make deer sounds effortlessly but might attract does who as mentioned before do not see him as a half human one bit

He can not or has difficulty recalling his family and age. Only that he lived in the Canterlita Wilds and vaguely his grandmother who shared his Bestialhumanness. Sable says the animals in the Canterlita Wilds have known Damián for a long time way longer then Sable has and obviously he was living in the wilderness naturally like a deer.

I hope this explains well this hc that you see within this dorm. There's obviously more lore and stuff I could add but I feel it's unnecessary yet if you have any questions you can ask me anything.

Some brief HCs for Sigurd Farscrew

General

He wakes up at 5am and goes to bed at 12am everyday.

His favorite breakfast is oatmeal with hot milk poured in and fresh peaches sliced on top with a cup of herbal tea that depends on day.

Sigurd has a mini dictionary of normal language in jacket pocket to practice speaking as such since he knows he speaks weird.

He won't eat lunch or dinner until all his students have or are eating. They all eat together in the ballroom in the dorm due to most being goblins and avoiding ridicule from other dorm students.

He used to feel so off going into the main building as he didn't have to crouch going into a room. Back in his homecity he is the tallest and alot of the bulidings are 5 to 6ft floor to ceiling with him being 7ft tall so was used to crouching.

His favorite professor canon wise is Divus and fanmade wise is Catrina Maravilla(@/thetwstwildcard)

Romantic

When 1st interested in someone he will indirectly bump into them in someway. He may small interact with a handkiss or pretend to dust off the person then leave in blink of a eye. The reaction may determine if he will pursue...or how..

Can tell something is up with him as he will mumble alot to himself about someone usually wondering what they doing during class. If the person is in class with him will stare longingly and make small butterflies appear on their paper fluttering around with his illusionary magic.

Takes time to handwrite anonymous letters or invitations to crushes. He has moods as he trying to write cause he thinks they won't like this or that about him so struggles. Will ask one of his trusted friends to deliver invitations or sneak anon letters into pockets.

You could be his angel. Literally he has a secret thing for the imagery & aesthetic of them thus he has a costume...for you...at least it looks like one. Probably for his masquerade balls....right?

Will have to get used to your hands and possibly arms being kissed constantly by him. Seems he knows many ways to kiss these parts then lips.

You were one of the few people who could tolerate (and properly understand) Floyd and his mood swings.

It was a rough ride, sure, but when you had finally grasped his mannerisms, it was all worth it. To others who didn't know him very well, he was tall and scary, lanky and creepy, but to you, he was just the same as everyone else, albeit a bit more moodier than others, but everyone has their days.

Ever since you had become proper friends with him, he became clingy in a way. Always trying to squeeze you, constantly hanging over your shoulder. If you didn't know him as well as you did, you would be intimidated.

Not only had you consulted Jade in trying to understand Floyd, but you had done a bit of research on eels themselves, which to you seemed silly at first, but after a while you began to notice a pattern.

You began to feel more comfortable around him, and you even felt a bit sad when you saw how others were so frightened.

Floyd could be frightening some times, but most of the time, it was just him being, well... him!

When you took notice of his sudden protectiveness, it had confused you. Floyd wasn't one to fixate on one thing for too long, even his friends and brother, but he had recently been focused on you for a longer period of time than you were comfortable with.

You had decided to confront him about it later that night.

Monstro Lounge was just about the perfect place to see Floyd, since he worked there and all. You picked your table and sat around for a while until Floyd slipped away from his position.

"You're here now, Shrimpyy~" He cooed to you just as he always has, not an ounce of the weird possessive nature he had been giving off lately.

"I guess I am."

You couldn't bring the conversation up just yet, seeing as he along with other workers in Monstro Lounge were swamped with work.

Again, you waited around at your table, ordering what would end up being your dinner, to pass the time.

Finally, Floyd had finished work for the night and made a bee-line to your table.

"Shrimpy shrimpy~ we can talk now!" He laid against you, dropping all of his weight onto you.

You chuckled before bringing up his frequent possessive nature.

"Ehh, Floyd, I've gotta ask you something?"

He hummed in response

"Its no big deal, but you've been acting different lately. Like you're my guardian or watcher or something.."

He opened his eyes and grinned at you.

"Ah whaaat~ I'm just makin' sure my shrimpy doesn't get hurt, that's all." As usual, he nonchalantly dismissed the conversation, which meant he was bored or tired.

"Hmm, well alright then. I just wanted to confirm it is all. It's kind of cute, y'know. You're acting like some possessive boyfriend in an otome or something."

Floyd's eyelids shot open, glaring playfully at you.

"I am not some otome, shrimpy."

"But of course you are! You're like that protective boy that the player can choose from, if theres not some other boy they like." You snickered, showing him that you were only playing, and he didn't need to get upset.

After a few minutes of bickering, he sighed and laid his head on the table.

"I'm not in the mood anymore."

You ran your hands through his hair.

"Its alright, you don't have to admit that you're so loyal to me. Like a little puppy."

He only groaned before getting up to go to sleep.

"Tired." He had mumbled before sauntering off.

It was cute when he acted like this. It was a nice refresher to see that even someone as intimidating as Floyd could act so cute.

You had called out a goodnight to Floyd, receiving a quiet 'goodnight shrimpy' before you headed off to your own dorm.

After that episode, you're mind had drifted off to flowers, and it usually did late at night.

Before you had been sucked into the twisted wonderland, your family ran a floral shop. It was small and cute, and you just adored helping sell the flowers.

The language of flowers was beautiful as well, which had caused you to read books all about flowers for years on end. You had all the meanings and symbolisms of flowers memorized to a T.

Subconsciously, you had thought 'Floyd is acting accordingly to a Marigold, maybe even a lavender' it was a silly thing to do, to compare personalities to flowers, but it was just a thing you did daily.

You thought about the beautiful firework-shaped marigolds and felt the urge to maybe buy a few to give to Floyd.

Floyd wasn't a flower love, per se, which made you hesitate the next morning when you were at the flower shop.

Would Floyd even accept the flowers? Or would he complain about them being boring and just pass them up? Well, that didn't matter to you, because even if he didn't take them, you could surely add them to your monster collection of flowers.

You grabbed a small bouquet of marigolds and a few lavenders to place here and there and purchased the custom bouquet.

Classes would start in another hour, so you decided to find Floyd before to give him the flowers.

You spotted him wandering around Octavinelle and called out to him, "Floyd, Floyd, I got you something!"

When you had finally caught up to him, you presented the flowers.

"I bought you these! Since you're such a loyal and protective lil' boy, I thought marigolds and lavenders would suit you!"

He took the bouquet in his hands and grinned down at you.

"Aw, you shouldn't have Shrimpy! How'd you know I was hungry?"

You couldn't even stop him before he took a large bite out of one of the larger marigolds.

"FLOYD!"

I’m confused of what OC/FANDORM-related asks are. Can you give me some examples so I don’t make a mistake.

It means I won’t be answering asks related to OC interaction or requests (headcanons, scenarios, sketches) about my OCs unless I open them. I used to write headcanons after one ask requested one and suddenly my ask box was filled with HC requests. Then I stopped bc I can’t keep up as an artist, student, and writer. I’m also not a blog that is interested in interacting with other OCs because I just don’t really want to. I’m a quiet OC blog that just wants to brag about my OCs and literally nothing else. I post what I want to post at my pace and don’t feel pressured.

The fan dorm thing is to avoid anyone asking my opinion on them because I’m also not interested. Behind the scenes, I was pestered by a blog into giving my opinions but I didn’t want to answer because I didn’t have the heart to tell them I don’t really care, to put bluntly. I felt pressured as a result. I rather not pretend to answer and be fake and spare everyone the time and effort in asking.

I can answer asks about my story (maybe to clarify something, hear their reactions, or simply listen to their theories) as long as they’re not demanding an answer that’s considered spoilers to what I’m about to write in the future chapters. I can’t just spoil the content I’m about to write, where’s the fun in that? So I’ll just remain neutral if I get an ask like that.

I’m taking online college classes and every week I’m bombarded with readings and basically work overall. My English prof sucks ass, tbh. I apologize for not updating soon, but I haven’t forgotten! 😭 I have the base of the next chapter roughly typed but now I gotta include unique OC stuff into it to make Strix stand out. I hope to publish it before the end of the month 😅 (Pomefiore’s chapter got me motivated)

I ask everyone to please not rush me and have boundless patience for someone slow as me. 🙏 As a Taurus, we cannot handle being rushed and that fact is true for me as well. That’s my reasoning lol 😂

Hello I'd like to introduce my twst fandorm,Mjestamode!

A dorm mainly based off of Cruella from the 1996 101 dalmatians live action movie & mini based from 2021 Cruella movie.

Meet the housewarden and vice-housewarden! The Walter Twins. They are dalmatian beastmen who are sons of a famous fashion label owner known for her extreme functional designs.

Kreo is a designer who follows in his mother's footsteps but has a tendency to become anti-social out of nervousness. He often stays locked in his dorm away from others but truly he like a friend other then his brother to share tea with.

Matero has his own pace he goes about things. He loves talking to others and learning from one another. He adores his brother and wishes to help him find friends who understand him like he does.

Anyone wanna read some oc deep lore? Probably not but in case I wrote some below about my sona Paz & oc Reno.

I am abit of a oc weirdo cause I often give my ocs deep lore that can even spread to just images.

I hc that the mirror during your 1st year(or first transfer year)assigns a student's coffin icon image based on its inner judgment of you. This is why even twins icons are slightly different. It would never reuse the icon on another person regarding of if related. The dorm color can easily change with transferring. With that said..

Here is Paz's & Reno's icons over the years. Notice how they are the same until Reno added confetti to his currently after transferring to Ignihyde. With my hc I said earlier and on Reno's college record Paz is listed as "sibling" wouldn't Reno's be different looking?

Also often alot of the 3rd years who should know Reno recall him but not his name. He says he transferred to Ignihyde but makes it sound like he from another school yet again people recall him previously.

Some of the staff were curious about Reno when they saw his icon as they recall it when they were students being the one for the currently employed security guard Paz who Reno says is his sibling. If you take off the confetti Reno manually added it would be the same as Paz's.

It has been 5yrs since Paz was a 4th year,Reno claims this is his 1st year at NRC as a 3rd year yet some recall him since they were 1st years,mid 20s staff recognize Reno icon as Paz's as even as staff Paz's hasn't changed.

The mirror wouldn't reused the same icon for a relative and would give a noticeable difference to twins yet these two clearly are not and has been years between when they became students. So what exactly is going on here? 🤔

I'd just like to first say...I don't know what a npc should look like apparently cause im going way too much into these for my fandorm...lol

2nd npc for Serendipia meet Prince Ireneo Khan. He a Emperor Morphos butterfly Insectahuman(my hc term). He known for his absolutely gorgeous look and his iridescent wings that shine in the moon's light. Heir to a small kingdom he working on bettering himself so he can be a good king. At dorm parties he can really let go and have fun as he a amazing dancer. He very kind and seems graceful but is prone to clumsiness randomly and gets flustered really easily from compliments he thinks he don't deserve.

1st know everything is hcs/au since this is a fandorm. Just wanna make sure that is known first.

My headcanons: Divus is a descendant of Cruella as in that's a known thing he is. It's what the Crewel family is known for.

NRC has subdorms for students who do not fit into the main 7. The mirror had issues picking their dorm or the student felt none of the 7 felt like they belonged. Subdorms tend to only have 20 students and dorm zone mirrors are in a mirror room opposite from the main 7 mirror room. They have their own housewardens but zones are smaller and often independently provided for by college donator(s) or a subdorm student's family.

Please don't take my hcs seriously, they are just for fun for my AUs. 🙇🏿❤

Mjestamode & Crewel

The dorm isn't very old, only being established 10yrs ago from present time. It was actually started up by a Pomefiore Alumni who got to be its first housewarden his 3rd year it had only 8 students. Fashion was something important to a lot of Pomefiore but not the creation of it. Many wanted to dedicate their skills to it as well as creation magic or alchemy but potion making always was the main focus.

When submitting a request for subdorm creation the student recalled reading that a member of the highly said descendants to Cruella went to NRC. He knew he had to put her as the base for it. It was rejected twice but finally approved.

Crewel finds this dorm to be excellent & a breath of relief. Every student in it is very skilled at alchemy; he never has to worry about them. The main thing he adores is that their dorm zone is literally a mini shopping mall/fashion business/cafe. He often can be found there if not on school grounds. He has provided for the dorm for a few years now to show support. The students have honored him as a professor by having a mannequin in his likeness in the main hall often dressed in elegant suits of the season.

one thing led to another and ! here we are, with a version of roza that led her to the dorm called stagrove, a fandorm created by @prometheanglory !

here are some hcs for stagrove!roza ! i've been absolutely infatuated with the dorm as of late 🥺💕

roza's unique magic here would be called "thumpin' away"; she can turn into a dwarf rabbit at will ! a very basic form of unique magic but it allows her to escape dangerous situations

her background changed up a bit as well; as the youngest of six children, roza had always been the family's "little princess", as a weak little rabbit who isn't capable of much on her own. this lead to her being quite spoiled, coddled and praised for every little thing.

it took roza quite a bit to realize, maybe around middle school age, that this wasn't normal at all; she was being treated differently because of her being a dwarf rabbit. this led roza wishing to become stronger and be able to fend for herself but also genuinely earn praise and affection.

thus, her basically being like a child, that falls down flat on their face but picks themselves back up and keeps running, led her to be sorted into stagrove — the dorm that stands for resilience.

her being not coddled anymore in stagrove kicked her off her high horse (the simplistic idea of how things would all fall into her favor), so roza struggled at first, making her question her decisions — but she knows it's better and she wants to keep on fighting, to keep on running for that she desires.

He used to feel so off going into the main building as he didn't have to crouch going into a room. Back in his homecity he is the tallest and alot of the bulidings are 5 to 6ft floor to ceiling with him being 7ft tall so was used to crouching.

When 1st interested in someone he will indirectly bump into them in someway. He may small interact with a handkiss or pretend to dust off the person then leave in blink of a eye. The reaction may determine if he will pursue...or how..

Can tell something is up with him as he will mumble alot to himself about someone usually wondering what they doing during class. If the person is in class with him will stare longingly and make small butterflies appear on their paper fluttering around with his illusionary magic.

Takes time to handwrite anonymous letters or invitations to crushes. He has moods as he trying to write cause he thinks they won't like this or that about him so struggles. Will ask one of his trusted friends to deliver invitations or sneak anon letters into pockets.

You could be his angel. Literally he has a secret thing for the imagery & aesthetic of them thus he has a costume...for you...at least it looks like one. Probably for his masquerade balls....right?

Will have to get used to your hands and possibly arms being kissed constantly by him. Seems he knows many ways to kiss these parts then lips.
