I will probably delete this later but loud and unfriendly reminder I do not tolerate Sam Wilson slander on this blog.
Calling Sam a "cosplaying Captain America". Really? And Steve dressed in tights and stripes is not "cosplaying" Captain America?? Captain America is a cosplay from day one, what's always been important is the man carrying that mantle not the stupid costume. Sam did the job and stayed true to his values, and that makes him just as worthy as any other character that carried the shield to be called Cap.
And you come onto a post criticising the inappropriate sexualisation of Steve, latch onto the one brief line about MCU canon ignoring Sam since TFATWS, and decide to bring up some obscure comics reference of an underage romantic partner as justification that fandom should not see MCU-Sam as attractive or sexually active.
Blocked.

I haven’t been in the fandom that long nor do I get many comments in general, but there’s been some weird-ass comments from people who clearly had too much time on their hands:
A comment that was simply “would have been better if it was [rival fandom ship]” except…no, the entire story hinged on the childhood friends aspect of the two main characters which is not shared by the other ship.
A 1000+ word essay, rebutting my fic sentence by sentence as to why the interactions between the two main characters are not emotionally charged and actually [different rival ship, which is not tagged or mentioned] is more important. This one baffles me because they treated my fic like it was a dissertation to refute. You’re on the fanfiction website??
A derogatory comment about the character who forms the centrepiece of a short (and positive) character study. Why are you here??
What is the most baffling comment ao3org creators have ever gotten on their posted works? Not the rudest or the most unreasonable or whatever, but the most baffling. The one that most gasted your flabber.
I love hearing these and I want to peruse people's responses while I smoke my pipe on the balcony at dawn.
(I know I said 'the most,' but, if you're a very literal person, just assume I meant 'a really baffling comment that is currently convenient to remember'.)
