Media literacy or analysis skills or whatever you call it is so bad that i have to defend MEN in fandom.
Or I would if I participated in fandom but that doesnt change that seeing popular/accepted takes makes me want to die.
#fandom is great aka terrible because it doesnt matter if the main ship is gay lesbian or het#the vast majority of the shippers are het or bi and you can tell from the way they do it#not the fandoms im complaining about in the post but this reminded me of rgu and i NEED to ban hetties and queerios from it#as for what i was comlaining about...#its that they took a nuanced brown teen whos a victim of colonisation/imperialism and blamed him for the actions of everyone else#like how r u blaming him for thing the master manipulator did#it does both her and him so dirty#my queen did not spend two decades settig this up and having everyone in the palm of her hand for it to be blamed on a 17 year old#like she is so fucking cool and i love her as the villain and bcos nobody has a brain they cannot appreciate her properly
