The red flag about whole Lucas situation is that his own cbar dropped him like a hot potato. That says a lot because cbars have a lot more info than ifans. They are basically working with the company itself. There are more situations that you start to see in a new light speaking about his character more and more, like how he fatshames his members, talking about their skin color, being generally disrespectful and immature, throwing fits and halfassing his end of the year stages, when the rest of 22 members give their 100%. The members clearly knew about some of the girls. Ten called him out, calling him Casanova and that he shouldn't do that. First of all after reading the translation and what the translator added to their thread we don’t know if all of this is true.

Like op (the v-wayzenni) mentioned: she’s toxic and it really shows through her (I hope those are the pronouns of the op, I don’t remeber well so sorry if I messed up), so I’m not sure how to react to the thread since it’s super emotional and in rage she might have added somethingw that are not true. In my opinion bringing up Lucas’ family in this case is inappropriate since their financial situation is their private issue, maybe his parents don’t want to be depending on their son, so their chosing an economic lifestyle (but that’s just my opinion).

Talking about the fanbars - it’s not Yukhei’s fault that LabelV is biased and they are forcing other bars to pay for things etc.

We still don’t know if the rumours of Xuxi being a cheater and cheap person are true and if they are Lucas should settle it with the victims, it’s not our business. And as Ten once mentioned (what the v-weishennie is also talking about) Lucas has a flirtatious way of being, which is of course not good.

About him fat and color shaming others, we don’t really know what’s behind cameras, I’m pretty sure if the members of WayV and SuperM were really upset with Lucas’ comments, they would just tell him and wouldn’t be happening. Please don’t try to twist my words - I’m not saying his comments are good, but the members aren’t probably taking it serious, which of course doesn’t mean he should’ve said them in the first place.

Mentioning getting a dog was totally stupid for me, it’s not only Xuxi’s dog but WayV’s so it’s obvious Xiaojun’s is spending a lot of time with Bella since he’s the one who suggested addopting her.

I don’t know how true it is that Lucas is pressed about WinWin wanting more deals or if he tried to snatch them from Yukhei’s face, but I totally understand Sicheng because he is super mistreated by the company. It’s obvious that everybody’s a little selfish and wants most of the themselves, that’s just how life works and I’m not going to elaborate on how Lucas should understand WinWin ’cause Sicheng doesn’t get as much screentime nor line etc. because it’s not my job.

I read from somewhere a long while ten would get some comments but not to the amount lucas gets. My brain is fried. But I liked that ten and yy got to be on yuri’s cooking show. I echo the choosing sides without knowing everything. the hardest part is that if someone doubts any parts of the victim you are immediately labeled an asshole and called out for the reasons victims don’t come forward because no one believes them. Everyone just keeps repeating victims are important and that they rather believe a victim instead of accidentally defend a potential sa/r-pist because it’s damaging to the victim and their mental health. But do these people ever think too about what if he really didn’t do this yet everyone is calling him to be removed and condemning him for sa. That shit is dangerous on someone’s life! first, if i came off as someone who believes he's guilty, i apologize as that wasn't my intention. the original post i made wasn't reflecting my opinion, just stuff i found talking about how c-ent works, what's going on on weibo, and all that.

i, personally, just want information before blindly "choosing" a side and am open to whatever information anyone can provide. i have seen lots of my faves get their lives ruin by false rumors and i hate for it to happen to more people.

but like i said before, based on all the info i've seen on how c-ent works, it'd be hard for him to come back even if he is innocent. (also genuinely curious as to how you can even prove you’re innocent in situations like these as it'd be pretty tough).

second, thank you for the information regarding lucas bar. i'm going to say that if this is true (as we don't know if any proof/info is true), i wouldn't be entirely surprised as i've seen similar things happen before. i feel really sorry for lucas if his cbar was that way and i hope if a new cbar comes out their intentions are for him and not themselves. third, honestly i never understood how some kpop stans can say 'support the victim' but the moment it's about their faves they think the victims are lying. kpop stans can be so hypocritical it's sickening.

and yes, i do worry about this could be affecting him. people need to be more careful on what they say and do as we don't know what's true and what isn't. (some people also need to be respectful to each other. the shit i see on twt is....)

Seriously, two English-speaking members (Amber and Krystal), two Chinese speaking members (Victoria and Amber), two visuals that actually had recognition among the Korean public (Sulli and Krystal), one of the top vocals in the industry (Luna), one of the first 'tomboy' girlgroup members (Amber), two great dancers (Victoria and Luna), amazing, unique concepts, and fantastic discography. They had all the right ingredients, yet SM managed to bungle it and only gave them multiple comebacks in their beginning years, and then afterwards only allowed them to promote their yearly comeback for 2-3 weeks, and didn't give them a lightstick (still don't have one), a fanclub name, or a concert until after one of their members left and right before they completely hung them to out to dry with no comeback for 3 years. They could even have taken over China, at least, with how big Victoria is now, and even Krystal's fanbar being one of the biggest of Kpop stars despite no promotion there, but no, they never got any concert tour there or even any Chinese singles, and now most c-fans of Victoria don't even know that she is part of f(x) because she never had the chance to really promote in China with her group before all the THAAD stuff. Luna could have been the next BoA, Lunber could have become a great EDM subunit, Krystal would have sold really well with a solo album that was rumoured but never came into fruition, and Sulli may not have even left back then if SM had actually cared and taken the time and effort to support any of them beyond the bare minimum required of them.

Regarding Lay, I think his grandfather was part of the Chinese government and he himself last I remember reading is a youth ambassador for some political stuff for the CCP. He’s a whole different story with the political stuff 😅

I know Lay’s situation is different. I just mentioned it as a way of saying that I have a basic idea of what goes on on c-ent in general and I’m not making all these posts based on what other people say. I just used Lay’s name as I figured most people would know who he is, but I did mention afterwards that I sometimes check in on other celebrities.

The way I see it, as long as they’re Chinese they’d have to go along with the CCP/whatever is going on there to look after themselves.

They have to play by China’s rules. If i-fans can’t handle that, then they either need to educate themselves on why they’re doing it and be understanding or just unstan. Their Chinese fandom, in the end, is gonna be more important and they need to do what makes them happy.

From what I know, if an admin of the fancafe leaves, another will step up and take their place. Some fans are only staying to see how this ends. If they stayed on because of money, I wouldn’t be surprised 🤷‍♀️

I mean, in general SM never promoted them much in China, plus the pandemic ruined a lot. Without Lucas, SM would need to actually need to learn how to promote them. (I’m curious to know what would’ve happened if the pandemic didn’t ruin things)

WinWin has been in China for months, I believe, so it’d be interesting to see if there’s solo work for him coming out.

However, they need to promote all members and not just certain ones. If they focus too much on specific members, especially when WayV is barely established, it could possibly lead to solo success rather than group success.

Personally, if Lucas was casted on Keep Running because of Knowing Bros, then SM doesn’t need to only focus on getting them in a Chinese show. They could also promote them in Korea more and hope they get invited/recommended like Lucas did. I’m excited to see YangYang, Hendery, and XiaoJun on We Became A Family and I hope this leads to something good for them.

I saw a lot of people asking similar things on who would be the next “face” of the group and personally I can’t make a guess. I think WayV need to do more solo stuff in terms of tv appearances to get a feel for who would be the best, even though I hope all of them get opportunities.

I read a comment that said idol’s acting in China only leads to solo success instead of group success so WayV would need to focus on variety.

As for Ten, his whole Chinese lineage thing always confused me so I apologize if what I say sounds ignorant or dumb.

I always thought Ten identified as Thai and the lineage thing was a way of justifying him being placed in a Chinese group.

I am surprised at how Ten is one of the top 3 famous members due to his race, but I honestly have no idea of the extent of racist comments he receives in China.

I personally don’t see Ten trying to establish a solo career in China so I don’t think he’d have to do as much as the other members in terms of supporting whatever is going on there, but he would have to do some stuff for the sake of group image. He’d have more freedom, I believe.

Isn’t Lucas the most tanned member of WayV? The other members are lighter skin? If they are then they wouldn’t have to worry that much about receiving colorist comments if they have “lighter skin” of course they could still get it as anything happens when you’re famous. But I’m just guessing on this.

It’s really sad and honestly embarrassing as fuck at the infighting within a group. Watching this unfold you can see how much it was never about loving wayv as a group but seriously just loving one member. Some of these “fans” need to stop lying to themselves that you care about what happens to the group and that sm needs to think about the others. Not it’s more of a you just care about what happens to your favorite who may not have been getting that attention.

I have a lot running through my head but let me just say this. They don’t realize and I wish solo stans understand that just because your favorites sell more albums does not mean they are the most popular. No lie I’m looking at the “top” two members right now who’s stans keep bringing up numbers. It just means your fandom/people might have more money access than everyone else lol like I don’t care but that’s the damn truth. I have a favorite member but I can’t afford to buy albums because I have bills to pay and I need food on my table lol and I’m not knocking people who buy those precious albums or spend their money. I’m knocking on this idea that “we can buy more and spend more therefore we are the most popular” idea. It’s like just because you’re the loudest doesn’t mean you’re the smartest or correct!!!

And because you are a fan of member x doesn’t mean you have join the fanbar/fan clubs. (If I’m not wrong cause when I reading about these fanbase changing names cause of the regulations… a lot of them buy from fanbars because of the location of where they live and how shipping and delivery is very difficult so buying from fanbars make it easier for them to get an album.) Not everyone joins or has money to donate to some of these (ridiculous) projects. Also let’s not also forget that some people buying albums from these places are buying multiples just to get those photocards. Mass buying like that shows you have more money to spend lol And when people measure the amount of money that was spent on these video fansigns to reiterate that their fav is more popular with more selling power… it shows the exact same thing. It’s all about money. I would love to talk to my favorite member in a video chat but that costs thousands and I don’t have thousands of dollars to spend so freely lol It’s funny and also incredibly sad and frustrating when you point it out to some of these solo stans they get so defensive that numbers speak louder than everything else.

Oh and I love seeing the complaints that sm just sees them as a dollar sign and how to get money because that is all sm care about. These solo stans are so dumb because you’re treating them the same freaking way! They don’t realize that when they claim that their favorite or this or that fanbar sold more they see them as just a dollar sign too. They subconsciously (?) look at them the exact same way the company does… that they are valuable because they make the more money. Like they may make you that money within the fandom but that doesn’t equate to making money or getting that attention and recognition outside of the fandom. Common sense be out that door I don’t know how some of them survive outside of fandom universe.

I’m sorta new to the nct world… got into them cause of nct 2020 but even seeing the other units fighting too lately about selling power and my unit sold more or my favorite member sold more than yours or we have less versions of yours but sold more… people need to stop. How does it come across to other fandoms when the people within a fandom can’t even get along or have a discussion without yelling and insulting each other?! Combining with another obnoxious fandom who are loud about their own (manipulative) selling power why can’t y’all just stfu, listen to the music, smile when they look nice and watch them perform?!

solo stans tend to act like that from what i've seen, doesn't really matter the group lol. i never understood how/why solo stans act so ignorant (if that's the right word). obviously not all solo stans act like this, but a lot do.

i agree with you on the whole money thing. i always look more towards the general public than fandoms in these types of things. not even just solos, but as a group, if i wanna know how popular they are i'm looking at the general public not whatever their fandom contributed to (this includes streams/views).

it's one of the reasons why i believe a lot of idols wouldn't make it super big as a soloist without their fandom.

but i guess there is a reason why fandom power is such a big thing 🤷‍♀️

honestly, i'm jealous at how much these fans can spend on their faves. i wish i could do that lol. but they make up for those like us who can't afford it.

honestly, i became an nctzen in 2017 (i was pretty new to kpop also), but became a casual fan a year later because i couldn't stand the fandom at the time. after stanning multiple groups during this time, i didn't become a nctzen again (more so a wayzenni tho) until i experienced more fandom behavior and just decided to stay away from it and support them on my own how i want to. i'll call myself a fan, but i don't exactly participate in fandom culture like how others do. i'm here for the music and the group. i honestly don't care about awards and views and just the competition in general. i'm just here to have a good time 😭

I think it’s kind of cute that one of the things that fanbars group order is CD players. I don’t know, it just feels kind of retro and the CD players that I’ve seen from fanbars look cute.

I mean, my parents still have a stereo system so I can still play CDs, but for those who don’t have CD players, it’s a fun way to enjoy the albums that they buy.
