Oh gosh I feel kind of nosy for sending this ask at all but I saw that you got asks regarding fanbabies and mates and you said that you had a favorite one in particular. I really love OC ships and I just wondered if you had HCs for your favorite one. Sorry if this is a little nosy again, I was just curious!

It’s not nosy at all! I love talking about the fanbabs 😄

The asks I was getting recently were all about the Ventor fanbabies so I’m guessing that’s who you mean when you ask who my favorite is, yes? There are 5 fanbabies and all but one (Honerva Jr) has a mate, and we seem to all have our preferred pairing at the discord

My favorite one is Son’kyr (Sonne/Val’kyr). I feel really close to Sonne and there’s a lot about her that reminds me of myself. Sonne is obviously mixed race (Altean, Galra, and Plantisect) and Val is full blood plantisect like Ven’tar. Here are some fun Son’kyr hc’s!

- Sonne has suitors, both men and women, that hang out outside Lotor’s mansion of a home hoping to speak with him and Ven and Sonne about courting Sonne. They all find her very beautiful and eligible to marry because she’s the daughter of a prince, part of the Galra royal family bloodline, a amazing swordsman, and obviously has a nice future ahead of her high up in the ranks. Sonne is completely oblivious to them. It’s not that she pretends they don’t exist, she really just doesn’t notice them or thinks about why they’re all there. She’s innocently oblivious and it’s one of her slight weaknesses that she doesn’t mind her surroundings

- But that all changes when she meets Val’kyr. Originally, she meets Val when Lotor chooses Val to help Sonne spar and improve her hand to hand combat. Val is a pretty capable woman and knows a lot of things, and she’s got a muscular body from her years of dancing. Val tried really hard not to lust for Sonne since she was there to do a job, and also to not be one of the many people lusting for Prince Lotor’s daughter, but she couldn’t help it. It’s also the first time Sonne feels a big attraction to someone

- One of Sonne’s favorite things to do is to go to the club where Val works and watch her dance. The nights Sonne is there watching her, those are Val’s best nights because she puts everything into pleasing Sonne. Val is an experienced lesbian plantisect but she’s never felt for another woman what she feels for Sonne. She knows Sonne is her soulmate

- Val and Lotor don’t particularly clash, but they’re a lot alike and sometimes it’s hard to be around someone that reminds you of yourself. Val is a loner like how Lotor was, and they each come from an abusive situation at home that they both left. Lotor is very close to his children and a bit overprotective because of the abuse he faced and the ever lingering threat of his father still out there. Sonne is the one who he always thought would stay with him. When she was a girl, she would always tell him that she would live with him forever and that he was her favorite person. It seemed it truly would be that way, until Val came along. Seeing his daughter in love with someone has a strange effect on him. He’s happy for her, but also a bit jealous at the same time. He gets over it eventually because he knows Val will take care of her, but it’s hard for him to see any of his children leave him and start their own lives. It’s harder to protect them when they’re off doing their own thing

- When Sonne and Val decide to have babies, Val is the one who carries them in her womb. Alien tech is highly advanced so it’s quite an easy thing to do to find a doner and give the sample only Sonne and Val’s dna so that their babies are 100% biologically theirs. Like Lotor did, Sonne takes very good care of her mate while she’s pregnant

- (nsfw warning) Sonne likes to wear strap ons when they make love. And also like Lotor (in my headcanons) she has a breeding kink. Lotor and Sonne are very alike when it comes to sex with their mates. Son’kyr is like lesbian Ventor. Val definitely doesn’t complain because she actually prefers penetration, and Sonne def enjoys penetrating haha. The same goes for human au Son’kyr
