Friday was a damn good day, and a phenomenal way to start our weekend. Yesterday, when I realized the shirt I was wearing and took this picture, was the EXACT opposite! . Found my car had absolutely no oil because it had all been burned by my engine. Thankful that my husband recognized the sound. The engine then blew out on us on the freeway traveling 65 mph after putting 2 quarts of oil in it. Thankful for church family grabbing our boys from us on the side of the highway to take them to church while my FIL tailored us to the dealership, bless his heart for coming and helping us! Only to find out that full warranty insurance doesn't cover mechanical issues or recalls, so there was nothing they could do to help me. Seriously? 🤦‍♀️🤬 . So sitting at the park with family while my husband took care of bike issues so that I could have a vehicle for the kids and I, I looked down and realized that God had me wear this shirt that day for no other reason than to TRUST HIM! Although we had said all day that clearly God had other plans than us when our vehicle failed us, it was like a slap in the face that that should be my first reaction ANY TIME something doesn't go the way that I expect or anticipate it too, because I am ultimately not in control, He is! Prepped to go to see & help my other grandparent in another hospital and pick up his toothbrush, jimjams and asorted other things. Life is up in the air with 2 of my folks in hospital :( both stressed out and panicky. #familytotherescue
