Hello, I know that we are not related, but we have a spiritual connection of human companionship, we love each other, I am Samah Sami from the Gaza Strip and I have two children, Ayla and Zein. I used to work as a teacher but I was unable to continue my work because of the genocide. We had a warm home, but then October 7th came and the war destroyed my home and workplace and burned my memories. I lost my students, my dream and everything.

We have been displaced more than once, fighting death in Gaza, trying to survive in the face of all kinds of suffering from cold, bombing and crazy prices, and struggling to obtain safe shelter and adequate food.

I even thought I had found a safe shelter to protect myself and my children from the rain and shelling, but my heart broke when my tent was torn apart by the rain and shelling. Winter was my favorite season, but now winter has become the season I wish would never come, because we were drowning in the tents. I still remember my children’s limbs freezing and shivering under the rain.

Please help me buy a tent, the price of the tent has reached 2000 dollars due to the crazy increase in prices, and provide food and basic needs for the children, your support will help rebuild our shattered life, even the smallest amount can help provide us with safe shelter, food, protection from the cold winter and save my children.

Oooh okay okay. I love all of my children or else they wouldn't be posted, but here are five particular favorites in no particular order:

Double Exposure- Paddock photographer Lando and Ferrari driver Carlos. I know I was harping on this one recently, but ugh, it still stands as a favorite. The way the title is both about photography and the plot... a core fic that I wrote in a few weeks.

Unconstrained- Ph.D. students Lando and Carlos do psychology. I wrote this one for a winter fic exchange for Jess. It is 100% the most self-indulgent self-projection thing I've ever written. Down to the program of study, Carlos' research interests, and the location. Another fic whose title has a double meaning to the plot. It hits so close to home that it lowkey stresses me out when I've gone back to read it.

Choosing My Confession- Witch Lando and Human Carlos. Even though it took me forever to finish, I particularly love this one because I love magical realism and I love people creating their own chosen families. I love there being some higher power but still getting to make conscious decisions. It's one I've been toying with a sequel for if I could come up with a plot, but I have some inklings.

Hide All Our Sins From the Daylight- Carlos and Lando get together in May 2023, and Carlos finds himself in a PR relationship shortly thereafter to help his contract negotiations. Yes, yes, the point has been rendered moot with Carlos off to Williams, but I stand by loving this fic. Singapore 2023 helped inform the ending so much, and I love Carlos finally getting to take his life into his own hands. On a personal level, writing the last half also helped me get through a not great extended family time, so I hold it near and dear.

Taste My Disaster (series)- When Lando and Carlos meet, Lando's an undergrad and Carlos is a master's student. They begin with a one-night stand, some life happens, and the next thing is that 8 years have passed. This is based almost completely on the movie "Sleeping With Other People," but I made it mine in my own way. When I reread the series, it still makes me emotional lowkey. It's the epitome of meeting someone initially at the wrong time and reconnecting at the right one. Plus, Part 2 is an ode to Western North Carolina, so that doesn't help the emotions 😅

My life as a artist and inspiration for making fanart!

It all started when i was 3, i remember ive been drawing a lot of stickmans cuz they just were very easy to draw and it was like some kind of "stickman stories or fantasy idk?" And i seen to end up enjoying it but not only that, i would later draw sirens and other stuff i was fascinated to, and i kept drawing stickmans until later on i then would finally get my braincells to regenerate and make myself more mature, i stopped drawing stickmans all the time, i started to get into oc! And other kinds of art style and i would as of today draw whatever i had a idea on my head for the near future and many more years to come!

I saw a fanmade animation of where a video is called aging which was a edit from a youtuber named whoamiedits

I saw that video but i didnt clicked on it cuz idk whats about to happen there, i was just more into anime and i didnt know what that video was, it was like somekind of randon animation, that was my first thing i saw something related to omori before joining the fandom and i saw it to this day and i was like "wait that video looks familiar to me" it was back in 2021 when i saw it and omori was like 1 years old, but then after joining the fandom after watching a mclovin video but omori version and i seen to enjoy the fandon, i was a big kny fan by the time, and theres was very popular stuff going on in the fandom, but when did i got into omori fanart? It all started with the first ever one i posted, i originally used it for my art class i then i did not recognize.... I actually made a actual omori fanart and that surprised me! So then i decided to make more! And it made me happy and even thanks to art class, it also helped me more! And it was a great piece of thing I will ever do I will still make art to this day and thats where are are today!

O artista plástico Luiz Sacilotto (1924-2003), natural de Santo André, foi um dos precursores do concretismo brasileiro a partir do final da década de 1940. Em seu trabalho, fez uso de várias estratégias antecipando as investigações centrais da Op-art.

Para comemorar o centenário de seu nascimento, Marcia Rosenberger lançou a chamada nas redes sociais e ao seu mailing e a resposta chegou pelos Correios!

Em sua maioria são obras originais em diversas linguagens como pintura, desenho, colagem, fotografia, arte digital, vindas de 32 países como Argentina, Áustria, Bielorússia, Canadá, Cingapura, Finlândia, Grécia, Japão, México, Polônia, Romênia, Taiwan, Turquia, Ucrânia, Uruguai entre outros. São mais de 160 artistas participantes com quase 300 obras.

A exposição itinerante será inaugurada em 20 de abril, na Casa Âmbar de Cultura em Santo André-SP e depois seguirá para o ateliê Coletivo 308 em Guarulhos-SP, com abertura em junho deste ano.

Luiz Sacilotto's 100th birthday

Visual artist Luiz Sacilotto (1924-2003), born in Santo André, was one of the precursors of Brazilian concretism from the end of the 1940s onwards. In his work, he used several strategies anticipating the central investigations of Op-art.

To celebrate the centenary of his birth, Marcia Rosenberger launched a call on social media and to her mailing list and a response arrived by post!

The majority of the works are original in various languages ​​such as painting, drawing, collage, photography and digital art, coming from 32 countries such as Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Canada, Singapore, Finland, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay and others. There are more than 160 participating artists with almost 300 works.

The itinerant exhibition will open on April 20th, at Casa Âmbar de Cultura in Santo André-SP and will then move to the Ateliê Coletivo 308 in Guarulhos-SP, opening in June of this year.

My great grandparents and their children. Jamaica. Many moons ago. I love this picture and share it a lot. Photography is so easy these days that family portraits like this are pretty darn rare. Just something about the act of dressing up, bringing everyone out, and forcing the kids to stand still that I am drawn to.

My grandmother, her family and friends at Lime Cay, Kingston, Jamaica. I love this shot so much. It's framed in my parents' home. This is a pretty poor photo of a photo.

I am deeply proud of my heritage and have found strength in learning about the journeys my family took to find prosperity. My mom came to Canada when she was starting high school—her family’s story is complex, but, in its most simple telling, they left Indonesia (the Chinese have a difficult history there) and lived in Singapore and the Solomon Islands before coming to Vancouver. For my mom Vancouver was a welcoming and positive home. Neither my mom nor my grandmother spoke Chinese. Both grew up outside of China (my grandmother was from Jamaica). My mom never cooked Chinese food. She didn’t know much about the culture. But none of this seemed strange to me growing up. I still don’t know why. Perhaps much of it had to do with the fact that my high school was populated by 85% Asian peeps from all different backgrounds. Perhaps that allowed me to see that my family was simply one version of Asian. Anyway. This is rambling. I suppose I am simply sharing a part of my heritage in hopes that my story adds to the diversity of Asian-ness that you see on your feed.

Here is Castellammare del Golfo, a lovely seaside town located one hour away from Palermo, Sicily. It is an attractive seaside historical town. We came to this beautiful town to provide our pre-wedding photography, videography and bridal & hair makeup service for Singaporean bride to be and groom to be on a warm sunny day. http://www.foreverlovejourney.com/ The couple's family actually lives there, so they wanted to capture some memory to show their parents before their wedding day in Singapore. It is good to have low soft light in the shots, as this avoid harsh shadow on the subjects, especially when it comes to the look the couple wants to achieve. We were planning for a 6 hour shoot with the couple, we ended up provided 4 hours service, the weather on the sea. It was windy and not too suitable for boat trip. We have also done an interview with the couple when we were on the boat. It makes the video looks more alive with love story.
