one of my favorite aspects of fallout is the lore. i love history, and the series’ alternative timeline is SO fun to play around in; charon, as a ghoul that can be in both pre and post-war worlds, and as a practical blank slate, is a great vehicle for that. he doesn’t HAVE a personality. let’s all be real. he is a six foot fuck you tall’s worth of grumbles and a singular beatles reference in one red-haired potato-headed xbox 360 era ghoul model. so you analyze every part of him, down to the weird bethesda bugs of shooting something twice so you fold it into his character traits like eggs in a macaron; lovingly, neurotically, overly attentive to detail. literally no other blorbo compares.
