OH what do you think would’ve happened if one of the other rebellion members survived instead of Firespots? Would they have different ideas than him?
interesting question, i have thought about this with fallensnow before and came up with a complicated au (lot of roleswapping and stuff lol its a bad end au tho)
fallensnow is much less worked up over and is better at killing than firespots is so... it wouldn't end well for oceanclan if he survived and had plans for revenge. which i just don't see him not having, fallensnow wants crowstar dead really bad in canon and probably wouldn't have cared at all about what firespots is doing if he didnt kill whisperleaf. if he lived and encountered fishpaw, he would have killed her on the spot to keep himself secret :(
rosemask... i think rosemask would eventually get over it. she would probably want to interact with oceanclan still, her son and his family is there and she would want to check in on them. perhaps she could work out a secret way to meet up with them and the protagonist in this story would be like honey or newt. i don't think rosemask would succumb to outright villainy but i could see her doing shady stuff with the intent of making oceanclan safer
and then wavecrash... i really don't think she would be effective at anything she attempted so sadly (or luckily?) she would be pretty powerless as an enemy. she's not really a fighter she would be in a similar situation that firespots is in, poor mental state, very angry, would rather be dead, really upset that fishpaw is suffering abuse in oceanclan (the cycle continues despite you losing everything in an effort to stop it!) she would probably resort to trying to convince fishwhisker to tear it down, gradually becoming more and more unstable as time goes on. to me, she'd be a lot more tragic as a villain than firespots as she would just be losing her mind and herself but without the murdering part. firespots as the starclan cat in this scenario is. aaahh... it's a lot to think about. perhaps i will make a little roleswap au with this one day, it would be way closer to canon than the fallensnow one though, so it would be a little too spoilery to talk too much about for now
#asks#fallensnow = bad end#rosemask = good (?) end#wavecrash = really fucking sad end lol#she makes me emotional she is just very special to me raaah

will we ever see whisperleaf again then, since fallensnow told fishwhisker she couldn't visit him? I just... I mean, this all must suck for whisperleaf. He put so much faith in starclan to be better even when they appointed crowstar leader, trusted his brother even when he lied to him about firespots, dedicated himself to being oceanclan's healer and closing himself off to a relationship with pebblerun, and helped raise fallenscar even though he couldn't stand crowstar... I can't exactly picture him happy in Starclan, or remotely okay with the way the system works now that he's been thoroughly manipulated by that system...I want to see fishwhisker and him righteously angry at starclan so bad. They stole so much from them both.
I think we'll probably see him again, Fishwhisker is a healer so she will inevitably have to speak with Starclan again at some point.
Yeah he has been on the receiving end of this bullshit for his entire life, he's likely been preparing a list of all his criticisms. Incoming 1 star yelp review from Dr. Leaf
I can't imagine him being anything but extremely pissed about the handling of Firespots. Whisperleaf knows damn well there is no way that man should be alive, and with the whole granting 9 lives to both Autumnstar and Crowstar..... Whisperleaf probably thinks Starclan loves evil people. He wouldn't exactly be wrong.

What was crowstar's relationship with fallensnow like? What fallensnow thinks of his son?
i'll just give a shorter answer cuz im planning on making a short side comic about fallensnow (im probably going to start it next fall, but it may take a while to finish since it would spoil parts of the main story, and i'll want to have those plot point released first)
his relationship with crowstar was unfortunately always manipulative from her end. i wouldn't call fallensnow naive, but he does struggle thinking for himself and he learns from experience. he did have real feelings for her, or atleast an idealized version, and he was afraid of what she would do if he cut her off. there's also some feelings of guilt from him, wondering if he can change her for the better if he tries harder. but ultimately she takes advantage of his more quiet nature and uses praise to get him where she wants him.
he's a big cat with strong battle skills, so you know what she sees in him. nobody knows what he saw in her though, he's a pretty closed book and both firespots and whisperleaf were very confused by the relationship.
fallensnow doesnt really interact with his son until the last quarter-ish of The Exiled, fallensnow is honestly embarrassed by fallenscar. he's weirded out by crowstar naming their kid after him, despite being responsible for his death. he doesnt want anything bad to happen to fallenscar though. he knows whisperleaf wants them to get to know each other eventually, he's trying to put it off for as long as he can
#asks#fallensnow was originally just this guy#who sometimes killed people and thats why he dated crowstar#and to also give drama between crow and whisper#but overtime he's acquired a proper house within my brain#and i have too many thoughts
