Since I’ve been playing Overwatch with friends for a while now, I’ve also been thinking which characters would the Touden Siblings party would like! So here they are!

LAIOS TOUDEN

Laios most definitely plays tank and only tank. He plays the interesting looking characters like Orisa, Ramattra, Wrecking ball, or Winston, and he definitely loves playing as Winston. I have this small feeling that he is part of Top 500 Tank just because of how much he loves playing Winston.

FALIN TOUDEN

Falin plays and most often pockets Laios. Does her best to heal everyone but mostly her priority is her brother. She mostly plays as Mercy and Lifeweaver but also plays as Kiriko. She does play as DPS and I feel like she plays as Soldier 76 and Mei for their abilities such as soldier’s biotic field and Mei’s Cryo-freeze + Blizzard

MARCILLE DONATO

Marcille switches between healer and DPS but she rarely prioritizes on healing. She is what we call in the business, DPS Moira/Ana. With that said, she plays as Moira, Ana and Illari when she is a support/healer character. As a DPS, she plays as Ashe, Reaper, Pharah and Echo. Their abilities usually have that kill all whenever available when used right and Marcille really knows how to use them right.

CHILCHUCK TIMS

Chilchuck, my dearest boy, my dearest loveliest boy definitely plays those annoying toxic characters and plays them well. Often times argues with other teammates or the enemy team whenever they talk shit about him.

He plays mainly as Sombra and Tracer but also likes to play as Sojourn, Reaper and Venture. When he gets bored, he plays as a support character but only as the new one which is Juno (insta locks it) but when someone else has Juno, he plays as Ana or Zenyatta. He likes that he doesn’t need to be near when he needs to hit someone as Zenyatta. Loves throwing the discord ball on the tank and support of the enemy.

SENSHI OF IZGANDA

Senshi switches between tank and DPS. He plays as Doomfist, Reninhardt, Mauga as a tank. Loves to play as Reinhardt because of the axe and the shield it offers where as he plays as Venture as DPS and Reaper (No, the author does not like Reaper but I like to think that he is the easiest character to learn as and every single one of them went sure, let’s play as this racist guy).

I believe that they all work well together as a team, Chilchuck and Marcille are the ones who talk back to the enemies when they start to trash talk them, Chilchuck is always the first one to bite back and when the enemy team gangs up on Chil, Marcille joins in with long messages that no one in the enemy team reads but often times it’s one of the ways for them to shut up. Senshi is the one who stays quiet and gets the most kills when they get trash talked though, along with Laios.

Okay, in order from actually canon to maybe delusion

Otta is canonically butch and lesbian.

Lycion is basically a transgender allegory.

Izutsumi says she "doesn't have a type or anything" that she's attracted to when confronted with the possibility

Kiki and Namari, Kiki is always hitting on Namari and Namari reacts accordingly.

Falin and Marcille have that whole thing going on

Hien MIGHT be hitting on a barmaid in a bonus and in the Benichidori extra she appears in a explosion like Falin did in the context of Shuro liking her so maybe, if your heart is big enough, Benichidori has a crush on Hien.

Izutsumi is wearing the nb flag colors in an extra (I just think this one is neat)

Edit: Farcille is only so low because I think the overt flirting and izutsumi saying it out loud counts more? wait maybe I should take Lycion down a few, whatever this isn't objective take the order with a grain of salt

listen. hear me out. an island that attracts many type of people due to its lucrative dungeon business, a place that have a character straight up labeled "the island's shadow lord", definitely have a thriving red light districts

how else are those adventurers going to drown their sorrows over their incomes by spending more of said incomes on booze and prostitutes?

it wouldn't be weird for the touden siblings to be staying somewhere unscrupulous when they just started making their living off of the dungeon. i can see falin helping with their incomes by treating the workers at the red light district. she offers her services for cheap, at first because she didn't know the market price for healing, later because she empathizes with the workers struggling for money.

she's immensely popular with the sex workers there. both because her healing doesn't hurt, and because she lacks the usual condescending holier-than-thou sneer people have when they think they're above the red light district (not even frequent customers are exempt from this attitude)

they end up always alerting falin everytime laios about to get scammed or mugged again but most importantly they talk about their sex life with falin. "don't listen to that whole 'of course girls know how to please other girls better' bullshit. falin, if you ever end up having to eat a girl out here's what you gotta do--"

meanwhile marcille gets all of her sex knowledge from the daltian clan, in which the steamiest thing it has is a fade to black scene that leaves everything to the reader's imagination

first base is holding hand, second base is kissing, third base is falin bluntly asking marcille if she wants to get her pussy eaten

i think one of my least favorite headcanons i sometimes see going around is laios being oblivious about marcille's and falin's relationship.

like, if you watched the anime/read the manga, laios really does pay attention to their relationship. even his doppelganger of marcille was pretty on point about her devotion to falin that it fooled everyone else!

so, my headcanon is that laios assumes marcille and falin are romantically together. meanwhile, it's marcille who is stuck on "no, we're just friends" mindset lol.

Post-canon Marcille sees one grey hair on Falin or one of her other friends and immediately starts researching ancient magic again

to me in a modern au, falin and laios grow up in a tiny little country town, one of backwater areas where everyone knows everyone. their dads definitely the town preacher or something. half the food they eat is deer patties and rabbit stew from the game their dad caught. falin comes out to their parents for the first time when shes younger. their mom says she accepts her but openly complains about wanting grandkids one day and it makes falin sad but she doesnt comment on it. laios never once came out to their parents, but he and falin talked about it for hours after she came out and it opened up a little box that had been taped firmly shut in his brain. falin did not go to the hospital for falling and busting open her chin, which bothers laios to think about but falin only remembers how many popsicles their parents let her eat while she healed. falin and laios can both run on sharp gravel barefoot, from years of practice. falin used to feed stray cats and would hide them in their treehouse. do you understand my vision

Paladin Laios

arguably that's kinda what he is by the end of the season anyway (his magic being akin to a paladin's spell casting ability (or he's an Eldritch Knight))

But just picture a younger Laios finally becoming an adventurer along with his sister, and he swears an oath of fealty not to any god or king or nation but to Falin

Falin, a cleric of the grave, who bathed him in holy light as she defended his life in the dungeons. Who would lay down her own life for him, and whom Laios would fall on his own sword to protect. These two holy guardians who are fighting tooth and nail for the other sibling to survive.

(I'm drunk in the spare bedroom avoiding people at a party and feeling perfectly normal feelings about the idea of paladin/cleric Touden Siblings)

Is there any info about the main party's love lives/sexuality? More to the point, is Laios asexual? The way he wasn't initially affected by the succubus when they were super effective against eyery one else, and hasn't shown any sexual/romantic interest in anyone (except possibly orcs) makes me think he is.

Well, he did kinda fall for the charms of one of their past teammates seduction.

But this might just be because he's a pushover, he did similar stuff for the gold stripping teammates.

The other argument I can see it's here where he says he'd marry Shuro if he was Falin. But this also could just be Laios simping for his bestie

The succubus probably didn't work right away cause Laios had a more complex fantasy to be fulfilled, but you can argue she picked Marcille's appearance instead of one of the guys for a reason. Also Senshi aparently also saw his mother or someone from his past too even tho he's an adult

And Marcille's showed up as a character from her favorite novel

I think the succubus becomes whatever is more likely to convince the person to let them feed and Marcille is the one he's the closest with from the group

That is all to say! I think there's a good argument for ace Laios, there's not much romance in Dungeon Meshi but Laios seems especially uninterested in the subject. The orc thing might have been just aesthetic since he likes demi-humans and the times he seems embarrassed near Marcille (like when he touches her ear and today when he apologized for touching senshi's thigh thinking it was Marcille) is probably more cause of awareness that's not socially acceptable.

For the others I think Chilchuck could bi cause he thinks senshi is hot, Marcille is probably a closeted lesbian, Senshi has to a job (feeding the kids) so he cant think about that right now and I think Izutsumi is Izutsumi

And just to be clear with this I just meant to point out what could possibly deny an ace Laios interpretation and how else you could see those scenes to argue for ace Laios. Headcanons are fun tho so I'd just say run with it even if there's no proof! Dungeon Meshi not giving us much canon about relationships is a treat for the imagination.

Kabru definitely seems like the type to take good care of himself, so he's definitely got soft lips, if only a little rough on the very edge of the inside from lightly chewing them.

We all know that Kabru has his eyes on everyone constantly, reading their behavior, their reactions - and that absolutely extends to you. Especially when the pair of you are locking lips.

Oh sure, it's going to start out all sweet and chaste, just a peck here and there. But, as he does so, he's always going to be taking in the way that you react to each kiss, finding each one of your weak spots before you may even realize you have them.

He's definitely a tease. He loves long, indulgent kisses, starting with a brush of his lips against your hands tucked into his own, grazing along your knuckles. He'll slowly make his way up your arm, along your shoulder, into the crook of your neck. His pace is absolutely glacial as he continues up along your jaw, and finally, once you're desperate for his lips on yours - he goes in for the kill.

Those kinds of kisses are obviously reserved for private moments between the two of you, though he isn't against a quick smooch in front of the others.

Usually these happen before setting off for the day in the form of a 'good luck' kiss, quick and chaste as can be. Holm will tease him wondering where his good luck kiss is, meanwhile Mickbell is gagging in the background like a small kid watching their parents smooch.

Spoilers for Mithrun and Falin below!

Mithrun of the House of Kerensil

Mithrun's kisses are going to depend entirely on what point in the manga that you're getting them from him.

Pre-ending, you're going to have to be the one to initiate every kiss. He feels the effects of the kiss on him, the heat pooling in his gut, the way his heart may skip a beat - but that lacking desire really makes him struggle to reciprocate. He doesn't feel the want to kiss or embrace you, even if his body reacts to the sensations.

It's something that you wil continue to struggle with through to the end, just like making sure that he eats and sleeps to his body's satisfaction. The longing in his heart that doesn't make sense in his head - only replaced by the gentle thumping in the wake of your kisses.

Post-ending is a different story entirely. His pursuit of creating new desires means that he plays a much more active part in the relationship, especially when it comes to his kisses. They're gentle, soft things, and yet carry the insistence of a man chasing after finally wanting something in over forty years.

He'll press and press and press intent on taking everything that you're willing to give in the kiss. He'll leave you gasping for breath, face flushed and heart thumping a staccato against your sternum, meanwhile he looks only the tiniest bit ruffled. Completely unfair.

His lips are almost always lightly chapped, and if you stop him before he kisses you to tell him to put some balm on, he'll come back almost immediately, which means you get to share!

He hardly cares wherever he is, or whoever he's around. When he feels that inkling that too much time has passed since he's locked lips with you, he's going to get that kiss. The Canaries will groan, whoop, and tease constantly, considering that they are usually in the front row for these lip locks. For all their reactions, each and every one of them are glad to see Mithrun beginning to return to some sort of normalcy.

Falin Touden

Before her transformation she's more of a shy kisser. You can always tell when the two of you have been doing it, because she's all disheveled and flushed in the face.

Some of her favorite kisses are when you pepper her face in gentle kisses, though she once again gets so flustered. She'll try to reciprocate, but it usually ends in the two of you bumping noses, or clicking teeth, and peals of laughter shared between the two of you.

You can always tell whenever she wants a kiss from you, because she'll sort of hover around you, wringing her hands. If you ask her if she wants a kiss, she'll give an embarrassed squeak before nodding, and leaning in to meet you half way.

After her transformation and second revival, she's a little more of a go-getter. Gone are the days of waifishly swooning while she waits for a kiss, she'll grab ahold of you by the face, smiling so wide before she plants one right on your lips. You can feel her happiness plain on her lips, and your kisses are peppered with giggles and cooing.

She'll also continue to chase the kiss, and it almost feels like she's trying to consume you from the inside of your mouth. She won't stop until you're the one pulling away, the slightly pinprick to her pupils, blush painted along her cheeks as she rests her forehead against you, waiting for you to catch your breath before going back for round 2... or 3.
