The power of mega evolution has allowed Florges to access an ancient power, with which it now protects the forests where it lives. Ancient villagers who have seen this form in the wild call her the Queen of the Fairies.

aaa for this design I wanted to be inspired by the image of Titania the fairy queen, I've always found her a beautiful and intriguing character and I felt it went very well with Florges…. I always thought that this Pokémon deserved more.

another dex update just in time for Fakemon Friday!! here’s the Juran region’s first “convergent” evos, they’re bug types that evolved to mimic (and perhaps even prey upon) the Seedot line 👀🪲

jeeeeeesus these guys took far longer to design than anything else so far, i’m really happy with how they turned out tho 👀

they’re based on two specific species of weevils, the boll weevil and acorn weevil, i also sorta combined them with a termite fakemon that i cut from the dex, hence the wood carving / eating gimmick

originally they were just outright going to be major predators for the Seedot line, but i wasnt sure if that would really fit Wiglett and Toedscool’s vibes, so i decided to make their predator-prey relationship subtle / coincidental, if that makes sense??

Introducing the Refereef line! These craft crustacean are very helpful Pokémon in Qamor and are used in various different ways thanks to their nifty abolity to change flag colors. They can signal far away ships, let swimmers know the condition of ocean waves, or call plys during Pokémon battles!

Faketober Day XVII

It is said to be a descendant of an ancient Druddigon Ancestor. Its loud roars are capable of paralysing the poor unwary listener. Its saliva is highly poisonous and is said to have been used by witches in death-invoking potions. It has a gaze capable of petrifying the unwary who stares at it. After a horrible day, making a design like this and being happy with the result is always a nice thing.
