A million (3) years ago I started a series of fakemon based on Fire Emblem Awakening, and then stopped after exactly one line. I've been meaning to pick it up again this whole time, but drawing animals is hard.

Here's another set. Ricken, Laurent, and Miriel. They don't look particularly like the characters, and they also don't particularly look like cats. I do think they look like Pokemon, at least.

Aya sat on the felled trunk of a tree, deep in thought. The young Ogerpon had secretly joined a holiday gift exchange this year, and had received the name and gift list of the Pokemon she was supposed to get presents for earlier this morning; Mint, a…Zigdreepy (whatever that was) around her age! A few of the items on the list stumped Aya….what was a Fairium? Or a Z or TM? Weren't those just letters of the alphabet?

But the other ideas….a shield and Legends and stories…now, those Aya could get! There was only one problem- Aya maybe, might've…gone behind her dads’ backs when she joined the exchange.

I don't know how to make a shield, and I can't make a really nice book on my own…Aya pursed her lips, brow furrowing. She'd need help from her dads, that was certain…but how would she get their assistance without them finding out about the exchange?

Then, suddenly, an idea struck the Ogerpon. But of course!! She could tell the dads the gifts were for herself!! A bunch of new people had been visiting the mountain recently, so she could say the shield was to protect her from any hostile visitors. As for the book, her reasoning would be even easier: it would be nice to have a little collection of her dad's stories in one place all at once! With a determined look in her eye, Aya got up and ran back home, eager to get started.

Aya stood at the meeting place, parcels in hand. The presents were messily wrapped in plain, brown paper and tied up with string- the best Aya could do on her own. The young Ogerpon hoped Mint would like it.

Suddenly, Aya noticed the Zigdreepy approaching. “Oh!!! Hi hi!” She greeted her, running up. “I'm Aya! I hope you like the presents!!”

A small art dump of characters from Pokémon Charm and Curse, which takes place in my fake region, Magia.

We have Maeve, who is our Ravenclaw rival, along with her Eevee starter and her second Pokémon, a (Hisuian/Magian) Zorua.

The Eevee’s name is Millie and the Zorua is Eirwen. I even drew Gijinka versions of them.

Millie has a Brave nature while Eirwen is Bashful.

My self-insert, the Hufflepuff rival Emma, is also there.

I want. To draw Fakemon. But I can't decide between create some new ones for Azmayca, redesign the ones I have for the 10th time, or draw Gijinkas.

Was thinking about that tennis racket dragon wings post again, and got curious at how my wing game was going. Since I'm very much usually a form over function designer, I expected a lot of non-flight capable beasts but honestly???? It's not bad.

Most of these beasts would actually be able to fly. I'm honestly surprised, all things considered.

Also yes this is just an excuse to show you all the "dragons" I've drawn. Yes some of them very much are not dragons. But it's fine.

Only one of these was drawn to look very specifically like they COULD NOT fly at all so I specifically went with the poorly connected wings!

Also because I forgot him until right now an honorary Xerxes

But he's not even an anthro. I just straight up drew my FR dragon. But I love him so it's fine.
