I haven’t even watched this show and all I know about it is that this child needs to have a loving family, a secure, stable home and a supportive upbringing, stat.

can u believe they took her in and fed her and gave her warmer clothes bc she hates the cold and offered her a life with the force but also free to form attachments, helped her become used to showing and receiving affection, for which she was starved, and there were some days she wanted to cry because everything seemed to be working out and she was so happy and then order 66 happened and shook her entire world and she feared reaching out into the force, traumatized by the emptiness of it where the people she loved and knew used to be, and once again, chirrut and baze were there to help pick her up and!! she is so thankful for them!! would literally die for them!!

not to be too angsty or anything but when will @forceprotected and @faithlcst give me the ‘family dinner in their small cozy home with laughter and jokes and familial love because even though jedha is under occupation and ahsoka is in hiding they will be together and love each other and the empire can’t take that away’ thread that i deserve

also consider baze who always had the makings of a great father, but missed the chance to be one the usual way - baze who, even in his lowest points of faith, still believes the force guided her to them and that caring for her is a fraction of the purpose he was made to fulfill

     Cold desert wind bites at marked cheeks, shoulders hunching further in an attempt to sink lower into the scarf she has wrapped around her neck and lekku, irritable grumbles muffled and lost into the rough fabric. Of course she had to find sanctuary on a COLD DESERT planet, of course the Force had a sense of humor that seemed to be at her expense these days. Lean arms hold herself closer as feet shuffle upon dirt and sand ( a snort of nostalgic amusement, a memory of one who had hated the stuff flashing across her mind, gone as quickly as it had come ), a vain attempt to keep warmth flowing throughout her body, until heavy arm settles around her shoulders, draws her close.

     Silent affection is not unlike him, words passing unspoken between them, but she knows his emotions, his tells, even if she didn’t have the abilities to sense the TORRENT hidden within shell of calm. The young togruta leans, revels in the body heat her guardian provides, flowing out from him like rays of a sun. A grateful huff, a canined smile as she looks to him.
