That equals faith isn't as enormous as it sounds or seem. I know quite a lot of time our faith is questioned and then doubt creeps in but then deep down in our hearts of hearts we still have this trust that it takes God to sort us out. Never Consumed...

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,

Because His compassions fail not.

They are new EVERY morning;

GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS.”

Lamentations 3:22-23 (Emphasis added)

I love the Word of God for a number of reasons, but the fact that we can affirm ourselves with its Truth is one of my favorites. This means that, despite our emotions or obscured vision of any particular situation, we can go to the Word of God to align ourselves with its TRUTH. “Through the Lord’s mercies (or love) we are not consumed”…by anything. The love of the Lord is able to sustain us through any test or trial that He allows us to face and we should rest in the fact that, because His mercies are new every morning, the enemy will NEVER posses the power to overtake us.

As you continue to “trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5-6) while on the path that God has for you, remember that God is faithful! In those dry seasons where nothing seems to be fruitful, He is faithful. When it seems that God is silent, He is faithful. When doubt begins to invade your mind and thoughts, He is faithful. When it comes to the desires of your heart; be it your education, career, love life, family issues, etc., He is FAITHFUL. Rest in the very fact that God loves you, He cares for you, and He desires that you cast all your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).

It’s #WorshipWednesday! Take some time to align your Spirit with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to comfort you! Have a wonderful day, dear hearts!

Prayer Starter: Father God, we thank You for the Truth of Your Word and we choose to believe what You say about us in spite of the opinions of others or the ill feelings that we sometimes have about ourselves. We thank You that we hold the power to overtake the enemy and claim VICTORY over any situation. Thank You, Lord, for being ever so faithful to us, even though we are sometimes not faithful to You. Continue to keep us in Your perfect will, as we desire nothing more than to remain there. In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.
