Louis wore Adidas Gazelle Indoor Shoes in Scarlet and Cloud White on stage in Las Vegas.
Soft suede and leather lining come together on a gum rubber outsole with a translucent effect, with Adidas’ 3-Stripes and metallic-gold lettering completing the look.

Las Vegas recap!!
Kind of going backwards on this one! The show was so much fun!! You could feel the floor bouncing below you. The venue was super cool and we ended up being on the safe a bit with a bunch of room to dance!
I’m bummed he didn’t sing Common People or Holding onto Heartache (which is my song at the moment 😩)
From his tweet I was expecting a little bit of a messier vibe from him/the band but I’m also thinking he had too much fun earlier 🙃
Okay… a mini rant. The whole pre-show lining up was a disaster. The venue made it super clear that there were so fan lines and then fans created them anyways. When we first go to the venue (maybe 30 mins before) there was a huge mob of people and they weren’t even letting hotel guests through. We ended up going to the back of the line and grabbing drinks and just hanging out. Randomly people from the front would come to the back of the line and yell at everyone to move back (in a not so nice way) because it was too crowded at the front and security was getting upset. Like it wasn’t the back of the lines fault that the front of the line was overcrowded. Maybe follow the rules and don’t start a line in the first place. The communication was awful because at one point everyone was being told to go to the second floor or move away from the venue or else it would be cancelled so we did and then the line stayed anyway. It was just a mess!
But none of that mattered once we were inside! We just had so so so much fun dancing the night away with Louis!

Show Review: Louis Tomlinson draws thousands to sold out Faith in the Future Tour stop
Olivia Khiel | July 5, 2023
Tumblr media
Louis Tomlinson is leveling up and he’s starting with a new album and a tour that sold out a stop at Arizona Financial Theatre on Monday. The singer was joined by a killer backing band, along with openers Andrew Cushin and The Snuts for a high-energy evening of rock ‘n’ roll.
Fresh from their Las Vegas nightclub extravaganza, The Snuts shuffled onstage in the throes of vehicular issues that nearly derailed their Arizona appearance and perhaps a touch of a hangover. Regardless, the Scottish quartet gave the crowd a rollicking set that included “The Rodeo” and “Somebody Loves You”. They weren’t onstage long but they certainly made an impression on the excitable audience.
When Louis Tomlinson released Faith in the Future in late 2022, it marked a stronger era for the former One Directioner. That strength lent itself to larger scale stage production, a heavy rocking live band and an uncontainable love from millions of fans. The Arizona section of the fanbase showed up and showed out on Monday with their handmade signs and ear splitting screams every time Tomlinson so much as smiled. And really who could blame them when his grin lit up the entire theatre?
He admitted to feeling under the weather but still gave stellar performances of “Kill My Mind”, “Face the Music” (a favorite of ours from the new album) and the uplifting “We Made It”. Not one to forget his roots, Tomlinson also threw in covers of One Direction’s “Night Changes” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”, putting his own spin on the massive hits.
Tomlinson’s voice was a standout in One Direction and getting to hear him sing solo puts that uniqueness front and center. He also tells his story in raw and honest lyrics, never forgetting where he came from and where he knows he belongs.
The unreleased fan favorite “Copy of a Copy of a Copy” had another spotlight moment on this tour, along with a cover of Arctic Monkeys’ “505” done to perfection. At this point, Tomlinson’s weariness was starting to show but the fans carried him as he pushed through to end the main set with “Out of My System”.
Flashing lights and loud guitars brought Tomlinson back to the stage for an encore and he jumped down to the barricade to be in the arms of his adoring fans. Those arms and hands got aggressive, however, and he returned to his microphone rumpled and with holes torn in yet another stage outfit- prompting Tomlinson’s biggest smile of the night. He has a clear love of performing and described being in front of thousands of people who have lifted him up from the One Direction days to now as healing and exhilarating.
That adoration and joy was mirrored for the entire show and Tomlinson exited the stage to thunderous applause and the knowledge that we’d all be back next time.
Check out all the photos!

Congrats on the followers!!
I would love some Kent Parson, 1:13am, in Vegas. I’m thinking The (Shipped) Gold Standard - Fall Out Boy for vibes and the rating is up to you, I’m good with any!
I’m dairaliz on AO3
ngl, as much as i love this song on its own and for Kent post-draft in particular, i was really worried about writing this one. i haven't actually written Kent POV before, so i hope i did him justice and that it's even a little bit what you were hoping to get 💜🦗

1:31am, las vegas
Parson! Over here, Kent! What do you think about Jack Zimmermann’s overdose? No comment.
The bar Kent’s sitting in didn’t even card him.
For all Kent wants to pretend he’s got his life together—he’s got his dream job, he’s moved out of his parents’ house for good, he’s making enough money to buy his mom a goddamn mansion—he’s scared fucking shitless.
Every clink of the ice cubes against the bottom of his glass grates on his brain, a sharp reminder of the weight of an entire fucking franchise sitting on his shoulders. A franchise that might be settling for second-best, the only option available. Kent will never know—too terrified to ask—if Vegas would have drafted him regardless of Ja—Zimmermann’s presence; will never know just how he and Zimmermann would have done playing on opposing teams, how they would have stacked up.
And the bar didn’t even card him. Sure, he was dragged out by his new teammates, was being welcomed to the fold with alcohol and non-diet-approved bar food, was surrounded by boisterous young men who were putting their faith in him—
It’s fine, probably. They definitely picked this bar because they don’t card regularly. It’s not his teammates’ fault that the idea of one night of drinking being enough to tip the scales, to irrevocably tank a promising career, a future—is spiraling around Kent’s head, circling the drain. Zimms had been right there with him, neck and neck, constantly battling for more points, for bigger numbers. They’d pushed each other, pulling the best performance out of the other both off and on the ice. And in the blink of an eye, the flash of lightning, the space between one breath and the next: Jack had been ripped away—from hockey, from the NHL, from Kent.
Kent knew. He knew as soon as he saw Jack on the floor, skin a shade no skin should be, empty orange pill bottle next to his limp hand, and dialed 9-1-1 that life as he knew it was over. No matter what happened next, this would change everything. Part of him was panicking, practically hyperventilating, as he half-yelled, half-sobbed through the phone at the dispatcher, as he hovered ineffectually around the medics as they strapped Jack to a backboard. The other part of him railed from behind a wall of mute shock and horror and resignation as Jack blocked his phone number, kicked him out of his room, told his parents not to let Kent visit.
Each time Jack shut him out, another layer of chill settled around Kent’s heart. The wall around his real self got another brick higher every time a reporter asked about the draft. Deep in the core of himself, he wants to lash out, to push back, to scream that the boy he loves won’t talk to him and what did he do to deserve that—but even Kent isn’t self-destructive enough to say any of that where someone else can hear. So he’ll drink with his teammates, in a sketchy Vegas dive bar, and count down the days until the season starts.
It’s the only thing he’s got left.
Kent, what do you say to those people who say you only went first in the draft because Zimmermann wasn’t there? Haha, um...I guess we’ll never know what would have happened, will we? A great big mystery for us all. I’m just excited to get started on winning the Aces a Cup.

Sunflower: Book 1, Chapter 2
Tumblr media
AN: Look, a second chapter! Who would have thought! Masterlist Chapter 1 Chapter 3
Tom Hiddleston x OFC Series rated: M Chapter warnings: Some light nudity, drinking ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 2
“A year?” That’s it, he was insane but was she surprised? How many times has the thought crossed her mind this morning?
He nodded, “I could make a year work, I’m sure.”
“I’m so glad you could make a year work but I have a life too. I can’t just sneak a whole ass man into my life and hide him for a year.” She was on her feet again, pacing the room, “Why do you even want to do this?”
“I believe everything happens for a reason.” It was the same nonsense as when he proposed the idea. “And who said anything about hiding?”
“And the reason this happened was a lot of alcohol on your little Las Vegas adventure.”
While they argued about the future of their marriage, he pulled a suitcase from the closet. At least they wound up back in his room though she wasn’t sure which resort his room was in. She hadn’t the faintest clue where her clothes from the day prior had disappeared to, there certainly wasn’t any sign of them in this room.
“I have faith that I saw something in you that made me believe it was the right choice.”
 He pulled out a change of clothes- lucky him. Without shame, he shed his boxers. She hated his confidence in his body as she tried to keep her eyes on his face and nothing else.
Everything else was ever so tempting to look at though. If she hadn’t been so drunk she would have been able to close her eyes and remember what being with him was like at least. How unfair to be robbed of the memory of fucking what could be the most attractive man she had been with.
“Again, that thing you saw was alcohol.”
“We’ll agree to disagree.” The simple V neck tee-shirt and denim jeans combo he slipped on flattered his frame though she was more importantly thankful for the fact that it covered his frame. “There’s shops near, I’ll go get you some clothes.”
“You can’t just walk away,” She demanded knowing full well she couldn’t leave that room until she had something other than a ripped wedding dress or oversized men’s shirt to wear.
“I think it’s better if we have a little space to think. Then we can decide what we’re going to do after we’re both dressed and have something in our stomachs. The pills only help so much with the hangover.”
“Breakfast!” Shit, she’d forgotten again. “I’m supposed to meet-”
“I think we’ve got more pressing matters.” He crossed the simple hotel room quickly and grabbed her phone off the bed before she could. It was strange, seeing this slight show of force from him. He’d been so soft until then.
“That’s my-”
“I’m aware.” Across the room, his phone rang after he quickly punched in the digits. “I can’t make you stay but I’m going to go get you some clothes. I would like for us to get breakfast together and make our decision after a bit of time to think and discuss.”
“You really want to not get an annulment?”
“I want to give this a chance,” He confirmed yet again. On his way to the door, he hesitated and looked back at her. “I need to know your sizes, can you message them to me?”
“Yeah, sure.” This was the most ridiculous thing that had ever happened to her.
“For-” he chuckled nervously before continuing, “everything you need me to buy for you to wear today… Including any under garments you need.”
“You’re not- I can’t ask you to- That’s not right-”
“I’m your husband, at least for now. It’s my first husbandly duty of the day.” He smiled at her from the door. He was clearly tired, hungover but there was something in his eyes.
“Is this a joke to you?” She yelled as the door shut behind him.
She glared at the closed door, willing the man to come back so she could yell at him some more. He didn’t and that was probably for the best though if asked she wouldn’t admit it. Silence dragged on as she tried to put her thoughts in order.
Fingertips shook as she selected her sister’s name and pressed the call button. The line rang hardly once before her sister’s voice was in her ear. “Where are you?”
“I’m not going to make it to breakfast.” She wasn’t sure when she decided that.
“I gathered. That’s fine, we got pancakes with all the sprinkles, whipped cream and chocolate chips.” A small voice giggled from near Ashley and Mia couldn’t help but smile.
“Can you keep her for a while longer? I’ve got to clean something up.” Mia walked around the small room as she talked on the phone. She didn’t want to invade Tom’s privacy but curiosity couldn’t be helped.
“Is everything okay?” Ashley was careful to mind her tone, for that Mia was thankful.
“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.” There were clean suits hanging in the closet and polished shoes on the floor. In the suitcase were much more relaxed though she didn’t find a single item purchased at Walmart.
“Try me.”
“I got wasted, have a splitting headache and apparently got married to someone who has designer suits last night.”
“Ha-Ha you’re so funny. Seriously, what’s up with you? Are you okay?”
“I wish I was joking.” the bathroom was stocked with quality products. He didn’t travel planning on using the hotel samples.
“What’s his name? Have you googled him? Are you s-a-f-e?” Ashley asked, spelling out the word ‘safe’ to avoid worrying the little girl at her table.
“I haven’t googled him. I think I’m safe, I don’t know. He’s been nice enough all morning. His name is Tom Hidestone? Let me get the papers…”
“Where is he now?”
“Down at the shops. He said he’s going to buy me some clothes.”
“Do you want me to come get you? I can be on the Strip in-”
“No, I think I’m okay. We’ve still got to talk about things.”
“What’s there to talk about? I’m not finding a Tom Hidestone-”
“Here’s the paper. It’s Hiddleston. Thomas William Hiddleston. He’s British.”
“Googling now. So, you heading to the courthouse to file for annulment?”
“We’re going to get breakfast first and talk some more.” Mia sat on the bed, facing the door and waited.
“What is there to talk about? You are getting an annulment, right? Holy shit- never mind I found him.”
“Is that a good holy shit or a bad holy shit?” Every terrible option ran through her head in a instant, no matter how unlikely.
“He’s an actor. A little bit of a big deal. He’s hot. How the fuck did you bag him?”
“I wish I could remember.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whiskey buzzed in his head. Music pounded and lights flashed. No one recognized him in the dark. Her hands were soft against his body. Long fingers tangled in hair that smelled of flowers.
“Do you feel better?” He had to raise his voice to be heard over the music.
“I do.” She said and he marveled at the fact that somewhere else in the world a woman he thought would be his forever was saying the exact same two words to someone else. He liked how those words sounded from her lips.
Her voice sounded like home. Those words sounded like a promise.
“Can I get you another drink?”
“I’d like that.”
So my 2025 resolution was to read 12 nonfiction books and I'm happy to report I did in fact meet that goal!
I'm very much a fiction reader, so this was primarily to get over that mental hurdle that keeps me in the fiction section of libraries/book stores. Don't know that I'll be this diligent about reading non fiction in the future but I can say I feel much more comfortable checking out the nonfiction section(s) and have already added many more nonfiction books to my to read list!
In 2025 I’m doing @batmanisagatewaydrug’s book bingo! If you’re on storygraph, I made a challenge so you can keep track there if you’d like! (Unfortunately I was unable to make it an actual 5 in a row bingo so the challenge is blackout bingo rules- all 25 prompts completed to complete the challenge)
If you're interested in the nonfiction books I read in 2024, I listed them out beneath the cut!
Dead Famous: An Unexpected History of Celebrity from Bronze Age to Silver Screen by Greg Jenner
The Black Civil War Soldier: A Visual History of Conflict and Citizenship by Deborah Willis
In Whose Ruins: Power, Possession, and the Landscapes of American Empire by Alicia Puglionesi
Mr. Las Vegas Has a Bad Knee: And Other Tales of the People, Places, and Peculiarities of the Modern American Southwest by Martin J Smith
Rivermouth: A Chronicle of Language, Faith, and Migration by Alejandra Olivia
A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum: Murder in Ancient Rome by Emma Southon
Pathogenesis: A History of the World in Eight Plagues by Jonathan Kennedy
The Secret History of the Mongol Queens: How the Daughters of Genghis Khan Rescued His Empire by Jack Weatherford
The Memoirs of Lady Hyegyŏng: The Autobiographical Writings of a Crown Princess of Eighteenth-Century Korea by Lady Hyegyong
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach
Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books by Azar Nafisi
The Last Ride of the Pony Express: My 2,000-Mile Horseback Journey Into the Old West by Will Grant
Sorry to say I'm not that good at reviews (something to work on in 2025 I suppose) but I do want to highlight In Whose Ruins and Pathogenesis, those were my two favorites!
