girl who wasn't expecting to have anyone over (but she likes you and didn't want to pass up the chance to be with you) hurriedly hiding away the jars and boxes of fairies she has around her room before you come in, putting on music to hide the desperate thumping of little fists against glass

inviting friends over for game night, when strange noises start coming from the door at the end of the hallway, the only one with a lock on it. At first it's nothing too strange, just some light tinkling sounds like wind chimes. but as the night goes on, the sounds get stranger.
at one point, a friend remarks on a sound that is akin to marbles being slowly poured into a glass bowl. another weird moment, when a friend asks if anyone else could hear the tinny sound of a pull-back windup car. Eventually they all ask what is in the room when they can hear glass shattering intermixed with a high pitched mosquito-like buzzing.
Inside the room are about a dozen different stations set up, about half of which are in active use, and set into what must have at one point been a closet with the door removed was a large glass enclosure that went from about hip height to right about the ceiling. Once inside, the noises pick up with a fervor. Lots of tinkling and bells and singsong noises in a language nobody understands, and it all makes sense now: fairies.
There are around 15 fairies in the enclosure, all glowing slightly different shades. Some were blues, a few were pinks and oranges, two yellows, two greens, and one purple one. They seem to have a comfortable enclosure, with a large upright log they buried into and made a hide out of. Branches, vines, soft grasses and mossy rocks and a bubbling pond in the center.
There is no horror or recoil from the humans. They understand this. It's a strange hobby, for sure, but not unheard of. This is not the torturous traphouse of terror for them; that is reserved for the fairies. A few friends begin to inspect the stations set up around the room, and a couple of them make a face at one station or another, but to them it is deeply fascinating. They understand the obsession.
One station has a large pickling jar set up with three slightly bloated fairies inside. Every now and then, one of them twitches. A friend asks if they're dead, and it's explained to them, no, these aren't dead. They're technically alive because the only thing that actually kills a fairy is iron. Yeah sure if their body is destroyed in other ways, they feel and experience it til their physical form can't hold their fae soul anymore. But fae don't die unless you kill them with iron. Otherwise they wake up some time later in the fairy realm.
One station is set up, it is explained, as essentially a milking station. A plug in vibrator has been set up with a fairy strapped down with zip ties to the top of it. It's angled slightly, and it's revealed to be the source of the shattering glass sound. This pitiful thing has been going nonstop for, checks watch, 36 hours almost. A vial of milky honey-golden liquid sits at the bottom of this station, collecting all of the delectable fairy juices produced.
Another friend, the pothead of the group, notices a smell and investigates the station that's currently covered with a towel. Immediately the smell of marijuana fills the room, as does some modicum of smoke. This station is a new experiment, it's explained, essentially taking the concept of a cold smoked meat and using that method to try to make an edible. Fairies, you see, are naturally absorbent, so their nature can be affected by things they are surrounded by in nature. As peeks inside are taken, under the towel reveals to be a similar but much smaller enclosure to the one in the closet, wherein three fairies, all glowing a forest green with purple stains, sat around on a large padded mushroom and idle sounds of wood chimes could be heard.
An offer is made of a fairy tasting, and many of them accept. Given free choice of your prepared fairies, they try a smoked fairy, a piece of fairy jerky, and two pickled fairies. One even is brave enough to try one of your raw fairies. A picture is taken of their bloody smile after they try it, as a momento of the day.
Once they have all left for the night, there is a return to a more hidden station. One, which is tucked underneath one of the desks, and requires only a small amount of upkeep. This batch of fairy foie gras was coming along nicely, their plump bodies restricted in place with iron hooks. Two, the favorite. A true torture piece. A fairy, taped down to a dissection plate, half of its parts missing already. The flash of a smile, and a weak groan from the tiny figure.
"p-please... you were... gone so long... please... more."
It's a wonderful evening to oblige a favorite hobby.

Grabbing a fairy under her arms and lifting her up to my mouth, how fast she pulls down her panties and lets me lazily lick across her cute little cock. Looking into her eyes as every flick brings her closer and closer until I've got a little refreshment on the top of tongue and a blissed out cutie almost flailing out of my grip

RAMBLE ALERT
I love ballets but it’s a shame no one posts about them in a fandom context.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is such a silly show. Two teenagers being all lovey dovey idiots and the White Rabbit is just struggling to keep them alive the whole time.
The Pig & Pepper scene is my favorite, I really like the butcher. If I knew how to edit, I would edit her to Piggy Pie by Insane Clown Posse.
I really don’t like the ending though. If the ballet ended with Alice waking up in the real world it would be fine, that’s the usual ending, but they end it with “The whole show was a dream by a real person reading the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” I think that’s stupid.
Everything else in the ballet was perfect in every way though. Just cut it at the ending and pretend it ended nicely.

fairies are like, kind of weird exotic pets. some people are Fairy People; they make their whole life and persona about it. it's like those fox rescue tiktokers but more ethically questionable.
you don't expect to go over to someone's house and see a fox there. people don't have a fox without letting you know they have a fox.
fairies are high maintenance, require a lot of knowledge to ethically keep. they're little people. they're for entomologists who wished their bugs could be their children.

The initial shock of seeing a walrus would be great, yes! But once it's been explained that the walrus escaped from an exhibit somewhere or from some rich dude's private zoo, it'll fade into an interesting story you tell your friends.
The fairy? Perhaps it doesn't hit you all at once. But as realization sets in, it's clear that your whole worldview has changed. Fairies exist! Magic is real! You can never live your life in quite the same way again! What else is out there? Vampires? Gnomes? A thirty-foot sauropod wearing a sorcerer's hat? You don't know, but now it's all on the table!
Fairy is far more surprising in the long run, is what I'm saying.
Fairy reaction v Walrus reaction
I felt I needed to express the difference in art form.
Tumblr media
The Impact of Walrus is just More.
