Influencers jump to Rednote instead, a service so unapologetically tied to it that it has the word "Red" in its title.

If this means that newssites will begin writing about humans' "Rednote trends", I'm going to scream non-stop for hours. In a very bad way.

Seeing people's true colors can be nasty

By mid-to-late 2023 I realised way too late that the alleged "MLP G5 fans" except me were just br**ies in disguise (It's a nasty swearword in my eyes) who were not at all dedicated to the G5 cause.

They refused to distance themselves from the miserable decade that preceded the genuine masterpiece that was A New Generation, which was by far and beyond the best MLP media regardless of gens to this day. They refused to distance themselves from 11 years of pain, leaving me as possibly the only person on the planet who was actually all-in on G5, at least for the first 1½ years or so.

All the others greatly enjoyed art based directly on the Painful Decade and often admitted they liked that era more than they liked G5.

It came to a bunker standoff when the supposed leader of the G5 community betrayed us all and started working for the constantly lying toilet paper tabloid that is Eq***tria Daily Mail (The cartoon industry equivalent to The Gateway Pundit), who blatantly spread the Gullierme Lie about the TYT S2 dubs and who therefore directly heavily contributed to the death of G5 through no fault of MLP itself, and who had the bloody nerves to claim on Tumblr to a positively intentioned questioner that, quote, "As things stand, it looks like the biggest impact G5 will have is that it will serve for Hasbro as an example of what not to do with MLP."

What a tariff actually is (It's not what many humans think it means).

So… I've lived in Norway for 29 years. So I've become used to many economic strategies over the years. So I know these things.

Tariffs are not the name of anything used in international trade. A tariff is a minimum treshold for salaries that must be matched or higher, negotiated by a labour union with a field of work industry.

Norway have tried import taxes. And we still do, somehow more so than before. The governments' intent have been to make people within Norway less inclined to buy foreign products. A fair bit of it is due to Norway pursuing some sort of food nationalism, which instead leads to (among many other things) empty shelves like in the image below, but at the absolute very least we know how maths work.

So when Braindead Donald tries to figure out what an import tax is, he apparently thinks it'll make other countries less inclined to export their products to USA.

But, like, bruvs. Higher import taxes do NOT make outside sellers less willing to sell to USA. Sellers on eBay, Amazon, etc., will still make their (physical) products just as widely available for sale as before. I am from Norway. I've shopped things like USB-to-3DS charging cables on eBay. I know this stuff.

In fact it makes Americans less willing to buy from outside because they can't afford the outside products anymore, with the outside countries not seeing all that much negative consequences from it.

Mr. Braindead seems to think a majority of humans are complete idiots who'll trust him no matter what, which is the only thing he has ever been right about.

Side topic:

Flights in USA run statistically well under Biden, with comparatively few fatal accidents for a country of 350 million residents.

Mr. Braindead begins decimating FAA.

2 significant air crashes within 2 weeks of him beginning the dismantling.

Mr. Braindead somehow thinks the 2 crashes are lesbians' fault for some reason and now decides to decimate FAA even more.

I know maybe 95% of Tumblr consider themselves humans, but it's bordering on being a failed species by now.

I've tried often over the years to ask married people, as well as people who wanted to marry one day, as to why anyone would want to marry at all. Usually they all looked at me like (and sometimes told me outright that) they thought I was clinically insane and refused to explain any further.

For me, marriage just seems like an extended form of when people online put "Taken by (…)" in their profile bios, as some sort of "Ha-ha, I've got a lover and you (Most of the profile's readers) don't!" poorly handled power move.

One or both persons in a marriage also seem to treat the other person as merely a collectible item to hold onto at all costs, like if they were just some Pokémon card they hoarded for themselves.

Such attitudes also lead to angry arguments frequently because apparently humans have a concept called jealousy that I have 0 experience with, which further leads to domestic abuse in maybe half of all marriages.

If I had a romantic partner who told me one day "I just spent 3,000€ on an Android match-3 game", I'd pack my bags on the spot and leave. In marriages, I've seen people with bruises on both arms find themselves with no option to pack their bags and get away for dear life.

Pretty easy to tell that Nintendo is run by humans

So, Nintendo have released a new Android and iOS app called Nintendo Music. Nintendo obviously promotes this, and they very frequently in their promotion state that it requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

So why haven't they released the app for the Nintendo Switch itself!?

It's. Not. That. Difficult. For them to do.

Instead Nintendo of Europe are openly and incomprehensibly bafflingly on https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/News/2024/October/Nintendo-eShop-Highlights-31-10-2024-2688119.html promoting… whatever the hell this is:

Nintendo can just as well discontinue the Switch by now, because this situation is absolutely embarassing for them. It's the Nintendo equivalent of PlayStation 4's Life of Black Tiger except for being somehow even more rubbish.

Humans are extremely spectacularly bad at getting over breakups

I've had the repeated miserable experience for 4 years of having to handle an old acquaintance of mine, a woman in her 20s who crushed hard on a guy (Not me) a few years older than her in September 2020 and who then dumped her 2 months later.

It's been 4 years now since then, and she still acts very stanning and deifying of him, completely detached from any semblance of reality, completely unable to take even the tiniest of hints from anyone, and who keeps picking him as her only comparison reference for everything else in her life.

(Paraphrased:) "What would my ex have done?", "How would this story about someone completely different and that has nothing to do with love, compare to the story of me and my ex?", etc., etc., etc., etc…

Are humans really this bad at handling even the most bare basic aspects of social interactions? Is this really what humans sign up for when they start anything that even resemble relationships? Why can't humans just, well, stop acting like humans?

Goodness knows it was very easy for me to become an aro fairykin when considering all the horrendous stories I keep reading about almost all relationships I've ever come across, but this one takes the cake.

Counting tags when I post

I remember something from like November 2023 in Tumblr's guidelines for tagging, that only the first 20 tags in each non-reblog post would have the post show up when searching for the tags.

So this winter I've begun to meticulously count the tags I'm adding to posts, usually adding some extra so that the tally goes up to exactly 20. 🐘

Foreign product names, company names, alternate punctuations, genre names, etc., etc., get the tally to 20 somehow and hope for the best.

• "so obvious this show (i.e. Fate) was ran by a man (…)" There's no possible way that K-pop weeb with an astrology sign as their username knows that the source cartoon was run by Iginio Straffi, who by all accounts is a man.

This has to be one of the biggest showcases of why humans are a failed species.
