i played this game with expectations. expectations that it will be angst from start to finish and boy did it deliver lmao. the game def gave me mixed feelings. it has continuations of the 1st game and i appreciate the continuations are even from the tragic end. it even has mini au from the first game which. pissed me ofd a bit coz its just all emotionally taxing routes tht lead to a normal end.

then again thats what the game is at its core: angst

i love that the game FINALLY gives ankou happiness (of course at the expense of him losing her as she dies naturally either way due to his immortality). it leaves a bitter feeling but its way better than his fate in adolphes la salut :')

based on his salvation continuation cg. i hv to say he got the short end of the stick when it comes to full happiness coz he n ceres are kinda in a loopy death-alive pace but hes cute so i give a 9/10

next is yves!

when i first saw this cg and listened to the piano i got SHOOK. hes the happy go lucky character in this hell game so hearing him dead inside (while being literally dead himself) as he watches ceres go insane is sublime. i love it. 8/10

n then lucas boy!

he is so babygirl. he is very babygirl. tbh my other fav cg of him is from his despair continuation route but thts so heartbreaking to even remember :') so he gets a pass by looking really babygirl and happy. 11/10

adolphes next!
