DUGGIE FIELDS @duggiefields Photographed by Krish Nagari @krishphotgraphy - @ishy_bayle Text: @_tudorferaru Boldness. Originality. Experimentation. Craft. In other words, Duggie Fields. We met him on a London-cold August afternoon in his famous flat in Earl’s Court. A meeting that made us understand what ‘life imitates art’ means. Duggie gave us a short yet powerful glimpse into his artistic universe. A universe where he never stops experimenting: besides painting and photography, he is currently working on finishing his first album “So Cool” real easing on Tricatel Records out of Paris late November. In his words, art is patently linked with fashion and style. And this photo-shoot revealed just that. While he never fully ventured into fashion, his attention to details showed his deep passion for it - Each item he wore carries significance and is in itself an instrument for self-expression. Duggie is the personification of fading fashion into art. We spoke about film, friends, foods, Pink Floyd, the demolition of Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre and at the end we had the most delicious spinach pie together. In a world where we got used to violently excavating art in search of its meaning digging for themes and motives, sub texts, sub themes, ideologies and doctrines, Duggie’s work and philosophy reminds us that we need to sharpen our senses, to see the thing in itself, to feel it and to hear it, and focus on what it is rather than on what it means. #coverstory #fashion #art #design #experience #magazine #editorial #empowerment #design #love #model #models #creativedirection #photo #painting #london #travel #empowermenteditorial #love #london #international #creative #fademagazine (at London, United Kingdom)
