One of my favourite jobs I ever had was working in a salmon processing factory. If I was physically capable of doing it long term and mentally capable of dealing with the hours involved, I would have been happy to do that indefinitely. I had headphones in all day, I got breaks every two hours, and working on the bit of the line where fish the fish went down the conveyorbelt and fell into boxes was genuinely fun.

People keep asking who would do all the menial jobs if they didn’t have the threat of starvation hanging over their heads, but in my experience there are plenty of people who would be overjoyed to spend all day running minor errands for folks if they were allowed to tell the rude ones to fuck off.

I had a dream there was a pizza factory that used people as ingredients. Like, cartoonishly on a conveyorbelt and stuff.

I was on the belt and managed to escape and I donned an employee uniform to go undetected. I was sneaking around and an actual employee caught me loitering outside of the ‘employee mental break room’. I thought fast and said I was just waiting my turn for the room. They bought it and left after I went into the break room.

I stayed there for like an hour playing the drums on a rock band game set just to keep up appearances.

Then I woke up.

HOW MRF BECAME THE BRAND OF TYRES?

Madras Rubber Factory is famously known as MRF Tyres in India and it is considered as No.1 tyre manufacturing company. It started in full swing in the year 1946 by K M Mammen Mappillai.

It started as a minor toy balloon item. In later years, around 1960 it started manufacturing of tyres. The company passed in into a new stage i.e. the technical relationship with Tire & Rubber Company of USA.
