Yesterday was my granddaughter’s birthday, but we are all staying put now so we couldn’t celebrate together. We had a FaceTime party. She and her Dad made a cake. I also made a cake. We all sang and had cake at our respective houses. Mine is an easy, one bowl chocolate fudge cake. I didn’t have buttermilk so I let one tablespoon of lemon juice stand for 5 minutes in a cup (less one tablespoon) of milk. It was perfect!
