Once imploring brown eyes found themselves now despondent as they turned toward Santino. Santino, the underground archangel of the Roman coven Armand had come to know centuries ago. The avenging leader of nights long past dancing around kettledrums and dangerously skirting bonfires that could destroy them - they - the Children of Darkness. How he had pegged Armand as a devoted student of Satan. Yet looking at him now, in the high rising windows of the drawing room belonging to Armand’s stately Night Island, the boy could only recall one chant out of hundreds. His farewell chant, the one that licked his ears with their vibrato long after they sent him off to Paris. It was the last time he saw any of them, and most of all- Santino. So what was it now that was in his heart seeing him? Was it perhaps reflected in the apathy of his expression or hidden there within his eyes?

“Unimaginable is not the word most would use to describe me. Forgettable, perhaps, would be better put in your’s and Marius’ case.”

The broad frame of Santino’s shoulders blocked the door in which he leaned. He could have seemed something of a photographer’s model, waiting to be captured, with how still he stood. The sleeves of his black shirt were pushed up to reveal his forearms, crossed over his chest with his golden watch and the glint of a necklace by his collar as the only specks of color among the mass of darkness. He was all modern here, all silence as he inspected the outlines of his former student by the window. 

Santino was not happy here. Santino wagered he would not be happy anywhere else either. Too much had happened of which these vampires, this coven, didn’t know and would not care to learn. Even Pandora was far from him now, but he was glad of this. The Roman should have her, if she wanted him to. Out of everyone, the young and the old congregated in this palace of lights and music that Armand had built for his mortal lover, it was only Armand himself whose company Santino could somewhat stand in these early days. He watched him, watched how he moved and spoke, how he played the host. A most familiar stranger, no more. 

And now he countered accusation with accusation. Santino’s passive expression didn’t change, not even to acknowledge the challenge. He only turned his head away to look out of the window. “Don’t be naive.” He said, his voice the soft and heavy emulation of a prayer murmured in church. “I could never forget you.”

Hi, could you please recommend some Armand ask blogs (if there are any)? I have a question for him but I can't seem to find any "ask Armand" type of blogs??

It’s a touchy subject, recommending blogs, as inevitably I’ll leave someone out and then they may feel, well, LEFT OUT :-\

I don’t follow as many RP blogs as I used to, it was too much to keep up with the various threads, some have gone inactive, new ones have started up… All attempts to make VC directories usually fail.

However, and that said, so you know I’m not playing favorites, there are some I remember by name, and so I tagged them below, but this is an incomplete list. White - What drew you so much to your muse?  (also asked by @rhoshamandes) I have said this often, but it’s almost always characters that make me laugh. First Dan and Mael... Then Everard. He had a pretty refreshing attitude for a seven hundred year old vampire that went through hell and back. He also didn’t give a shit about what Lestat or Marius thought of his opinions on them. He voiced them and though taking refuge with the Coven, had a very strong opinion about said congregations. It made him a peculiar stand-out and everybody loves a rebel. When Miti decided to pick up The Rhosh muse and at the time, @faceofabotticelliangel started playing Benedict, they heavily inspired and encouraged me to complete the family with Everard. And so I did. And @dark-eyed-elegance blessed us with a new BEEEEEYHN which brought us back to the muses back in 2018!
