BUYING FABRIC ONLINE can be difficult without being able to see and touch the fabric before you buy it. Today I am sharing my tips for buying fabric online so that you don’t need to be limited when it comes to finding the perfect fabric for your crafts. 1. The fabric’s content will tell you what the fabric is made of: cotton, polyester, wool, nylon, etc. This should give you a rough idea of the feel. 2. Look up reviews about the fabric. 3. Always check the website return policy. 4. Get FREE samples of the swatch books before ordering in large volumes. This will allow you to see and feel the fabric’s true colour, weight, and texture before buying it. 5. Put fabrics together in a design wall/photo app. Some fabric sites have a design wall that allows you to put different fabrics next to each other to see how they look together. If the site doesn’t have this, you can easily do it yourself on your own with a photo collage program or app. 6. Leveraging on technolgy here where you can zoom to great extends to see the real finish and texture of the fabric 7. A lot of people do not check the stretchability/Flexibility of the fabric which is very important for comfortable movement. 8. Last but not the least looking forward to augmented reality to bridge this gap to a certain extent. . . . . . . #fabric #handmade #fashion #fabrics #design #fabricart #buying #fabriclove #fabricflower #fabrica #buyingseason #art #instadaily #selling #fabricaddict #fabricdesign #fabricbuy #toolsforfabric #fabricfeel #technology https://www.instagram.com/p/CAdWlE1jw7b/?igshid=98zao3tmx0pv
