“i...” she’d tried to respond before she really thought about what she wanted to say, causing her to stall. she wasn’t entirely certain she even had a response to the words. she’d always been a little too easy to fluster - a problem that seemed much worse around him. no matter what he tried to argue, she was steadfast in her belief that he was like some prince charming from the movies. maybe a little rough around the edges, but it seemed like he was always coming to her aid in some way. making sure she felt comfortable in a way friends she’d known for years, failed to do. “i think you’d be the person i’d want there with me.”  @monstersmuses
