Quando la gente fa schifo, fa schifo sempre, in tutte le circostanze e questo è il caso dei miei parenti, vi racconto: è morta una mia prozia in Belgio, prozia che tutti noi parenti sapevamo piena di grana, ma che comunque è stata lasciata a se stessa nel momento del bisogno. Storia triste quella della mia prozia; Parte per il Belgio nel dopoguerra perché suo marito aveva trovato lavoro in miniera, mette al mondo due figli entrambi con la distrofia muscolare che si sono spenti poco a poco, anno dopo anno e suo marito muore abbastanza giovane. Facendo grandi sacrifici è riuscita a farsi una bella casa in una cittadina del Belgio ha cucito giorno e notte per sbarcare il lunario e alla fine visto che era abituata a vivere con niente ha messo via una discreta quantità di soldi. È stata sempre generosa con tutti noi, ma noi poco abbiamo fatto quando ne ha avuto bisogno. Pochi mesi fa cade, si rompe il femore, le amiche non riescono ad accudirla a casa e la mettono in una RSA, in questa RSA si prende il COVID, la prozia muore. Fino a qui tutto male direi no? Ma non per i miei parenti, che si sono fiondati sull'eredità come vampiri assetati di sangue, appena saputo della morte sono partiti come razzi per il Belgio, contattato avvocati, notai e chi più ne ha più ne metta ma dell'ingente somma della prozia nessuna traccia, nei ben 4 conti ci sono poche centinaia di euro, di oro e preziosi in casa nemmeno la puzza, inoltre, nessun testamento, solo 4 righe scritte a penna in stampatello, lasciate nel comodino della camera su un foglio a quadretti dove c'è solo scritto che la casa andrà al centro per la distrofia muscolare i gatti e i cani alle sue amiche e in ultimo la motozzappa e tutte le attrezzature agricole dello zio....... a me.

We need to talk about the neglect of women's football.

First of all, it's nothing new that the lack of VAR in women's leagues is a big problem. We have witnessed several controversial moves or very clear situations that are no longer effectively observed and/or punished due to the lack of technology on the field. Once again, women's football loses out due to the mentality of leagues and federations that before having access to a basic tool like VAR, athletes need to prove their worth in order to gain a basic right.

Another thing we are tired of talking about is the exhausting schedule of competitions, many games in a row and almost no time for rest and recovery for the athletes. This crazy schedule has already taken many things away from many players, we have several cases of total ACL rupture in different leagues due to this lack of care from organizations towards clubs and especially towards athletes.

This morning it was reported that the Brazilian team's starting goalkeeper (Lelê) tore her ACL in the last training session that Corinthians did before the start of the season – which took place today –. And speaking of this game, I can mention another big mistake in organizing the games considering that the match was played at 10:30 in the morning with a thermal sensation of 39°C (103°F) and a scorching sun due to the Brazilian summer. This is completely cruel to the athletes who not only just returned to play, but returned in such terrible conditions. By putting a team to play in these conditions you expose your players to various possibilities such as dehydration, sun exposure, skin burns, loss of physical conditioning, exhaustion and several others that I prefer not to mention.

Situations like this make me sick and someone needs to do something about it. It can't continue like this.
