ley lines // harlia
WHO: malia fahey & harper sinclair ( @harpersinclair )
WHEN: january 31st
TRIGGERS: mention of drug use, as always. also they scene but its not explicit
NOTES: harper slaps malia and then talks about her feelings regarding the harmaxan breakup ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Malia was no stranger to Harper's place and didn't even bother knocking as she entered with the spare key she never returned back to the Domme after so many years. After brief small talk, some familiar flirty touches, she found herself in Harper's lap, arms wrapped around her neck. "So. They say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. How do you wanna do this, Miss?" There was a saccharine lilt to her tone, aiming to signal to Harper that she was there for whatever she needed-- a casual fuck, a casual scene-- whatever she needed to help her get over her breakup woes. Not that it was that easy. In reality it wasn’t easy by any means, but Malia didn't have much to go off of when it came to breakups.
On the other end, Harper felt lost. For the first time since that initial adjustment period after receiving her mark, she found herself feeling unsure and out of control. Losing Max, and then Evan in such proximity to each other? It was harder than she could have imagined. So when Malia offered, there was no hesitation on her part. If there was one thing she could do, it was Domme. And she did it well. Wrapping her arms around the blonde, the corners of her lips quirked in a mischievous smirk. “I think I mentioned something about slapping you around a little bit,” Sh quipped, punctuating her words with a sharp spank to her ass. Standing, she lifted Malia with her, “You think you can behave, babe?”
Not giving much of a reaction to the slap to her ass, other than a jerk of her hips, Malia shrugged, a mischievous gleam lighting up her face and turning the edges of her lips upwards in a smirk. It'd been so long, she'd be remiss if she wasn't going to make Harper work for her reactions. "I dunno, you might have to make me behave.” Malia shrugged and wrapped her legs around Harper’s waist, punctuated with her usual brand of mischief. “Y'know how I am."
Normally, their banter, the teasing, it was all part of their dynamic. It felt off, somehow, though, even as Harper’s smile widened on instinct. “Oh? Not feeling very cooperative, then?” Shaking her head she stopped in her tracks, pressing the blonde against the wall, one brow raising in silent question. “Are you sure that’s the answer you’re going to go with, Malia?” Harper asked, her voice stern, and her gaze intense, unyielding, almost. “Think carefully before you answer.”
Despite the decided shift in the air, Malia did not think carefully. "I'm sure. No take backs 'round here."
As soon as the words slipped from the submissive’s lips, Harper felt her own mentality shift, that much more. “Wrong answer, babe.” Plopping her down suddenly, the Domme curled her fingers through her hair, just above the base of her neck, giving a sharp tug. “Kneel.” She ordered, her voice cool and commanding.
But there was one thing Malia was good at, it was ignoring her better judgement. The sharp tug brought out a soft gasp from her lips, but she kneeled anyway, dropping down onto her knees "Doesn't seem like the wrong answer from where I am." She teased as she tilted her head up to look at the other blonde towering over her. Needless to say, Harper's expression was very different from what it usually was when they scened.
Harper’s hand moved on instinct, a sharp crack echoing in the previous silence of her apartment as she stared down at Malia, her cheek turning bright red from the unexpected slap. “Keep that smart mouth of yours closed until I have a use for it.” She said, her face sober and unamused. “Now don’t move, or you’ll get worse.” Her tone leaving no room for misinterpretation of her intentions as she moved away to collect the rope she’d acquired for their scene, pulling on the blonde’s arms roughly as she began to twine the rope around her wrists.(edited)
As soon as she felt Harper's hand fly across her cheek, her eyes watered a little, the sudden pain bringing a scalding heat to her cheeks. Immediately, she clamped her mouth shut, not even bothering with a courtesy Yes, Miss. or a smart remark. Her body moved pliantly with her motions. Under usual circumstances, she would have fought a little, knowing how much Harper enjoyed the chase sometimes. But this, again, was a decided difference in how they usually scened. Harper needed this and Malia was happy to oblige.
The scene itself is incredibly cathartic, in its way, lacking in their usual playful tussle for dominance. Each move Harper makes is almost calculated, in nature, as she continued to bind the smaller girl until she was totally immobilized. The ropework was more sophisticated than she usually had the patience for, and she had Malia positioned in a stable bend, her weight distributed across her knees and shoulders. She hadn't expected to need so much control and structure, but she wasn’t going to question it in that moment. Selecting a wide, wooden paddle, Harper felt more in control as the scene progressed than she had in weeks-- months, really. It’d been quite a while since she had a scene of this nature and with each thud of the paddle, she felt the tension begin to leave her body, keeping a careful eye on Malia’s reactions to the impact.
By the end of the scene, Harper carefully untied the other girl, taking care to try and help her regain feeling in her limbs as she went. Lifting Malia with ease, she laid her on her bed, pressing a light kiss to her head and murmuring all manner of words of praise and thanks to the submissive. Retrieving a pain relieving cream and rubbing it on the parts of her limbs that looked most irritated, before giving the same treatment to her sore and reddened ass. Settling beside her, she offered her some water, and gave her a chance to talk about how she was feeling as she pulled the smaller girl against her, holding her close.
Malia didn't say much, just focused on coming back down from her high in the Domme's familiar arms. It took a little more praise and a little more reassurance than normal-- simply because of the decided difference in tonight's scene but that was more than okay. As her friend, Malia was always wiling to provide whatever Harper needed-- in most, if not all capacities.
She didn't talk about much, just soaking up the affection and attention. And then finally, after some time and another How are you feeling? from Harper, she couldn't help but quirk a brow. "How am I feelin'? Miss, how are you feelin'?”
A beat.
Harper could barely resist the urge to bite at her fingernails- a nervous habit she’d long shaken from her youth- as she thought about the posted question. Wordlessly, Malia reached for her hands, clasping them in her own and settling it between them.
Harper had been a mess of emotions and hurt for weeks, and she realized in that moment that for the first time, she didn’t feel so out of control. While it wasn’t in her nature to talk about her feelings like that, she trusted Malia, and if she was being honest, she actually wanted to talk about exactly how terrible she’d been feeling since her fallout with Max and Evan’s sudden departure.
The words came with ease, as if the floodgates that had held back all of the pain she’d been masking with her normal joking banter and only the cheapest liquor and drugs she could get her hands on suddenly cracked down the middle. There were no shed tears- no inconsolable sobs or wails of despair, but the pain in her voice was obvious; the lack of light in her eyes a strange contrast to her usually animated features. There was a sense of self realization in her words, thoughts that had seemed so irrational in her own head sounded far more reasonable aloud. And while the pain didn’t fully dissipate- she doubted it ever would- it felt manageable for the first time.
Pressing a kiss to the submissive’s cheek- with a teasing nip to her ear, of course- the air in the room felt far lighter than it had since the other girl’s arrival. While she doubted Malia had wanted this much information, it felt good to say how she’d been feeling, and as she came to the end of her thoughts, she felt as if an invisible weight had been lifted from her shoulders. “Damn, I’m out here sounding like some damsel in distress.” She quipped with a slight roll of her eyes, the smile playing at the corner of her lips the most genuine it’d been in what felt like an age. “Don’t go telling people I’m secretly full of feels and shit. I don’t need to be losing my street cred.”
There wasn’t anything Malia could say to make it better and she knew it. So she stayed quiet, holding Harper when necessary, brushing her hands against her’s to remind her she was right there-- and did her best to provide a solace her endless rambles never could.
Pressing a kiss to the side of Harper’s head, Malia nuzzled close with a small smile.
“No worries, Miss. Your secret is safe with me.”

f2f II costume clusters @harper
Isabelle coughed as she snubbed out a cigarette, trying to make sure all the smoke went outside her window. She felt anxious, and she couldn’t really be sure why, but she was hoping that maybe seeing Harper would help. She was one of the only people who’d known Isabelle since they were kids, and would call Izzy out on her shit when she had too.
Quickly spraying some freshener and grabbing some clean clothes, Isabelle changed and discarded the evidence, putting everything she needed in her purse and slipping out unnoticed, having already left a note. She walked the familiar and short path to Harper’s house, feeling a slight calm fall over her once she saw the house, somewhere she’d spent nights wishing Rachel’s dads were hers. But she was a Porter, and everything that came with that.
Hiram let her in before she even knocked, giving her a big hug. She hadn’t been by in a couple weeks, and they’d noticed. And it made her heart swell slightly, feeling like she was part of the family. After some small talk that was remarkably comfortable for someone as anxious as Izzy, she headed up to Harper’s room. Knocking a few times before opening the door, she peeked inside. “Harp?”

Harper was, for a lack of a better term, absolutely livid. Max always knew exactly how to get her riled up, balancing on the line between love and hate so expertly. And while things had been going well- all three days since the night after Opal- whenever talk about Switches came up, everything seemed to fall apart.
“You’re fucking joking, right??? I mean, I’m doing everything I can, okay?? I send more than half of my paycheck to my mom! That’s a lot more than most can say!”

[f2f] cookies and truth (12/14)
Kurt: [had an electric kettle heating up the water for the tea. He had two mugs ready and two plates out on his small kitchen table. He hoped his dorm would make a good first impression. Dani actually had an eyes for things and she never got to see Kurt's loft in Manhattan. Stripped of almost all of his things, Kurt only had the bare furniture supplied to him by the school, and done what he could within a year to give the place a clean and modern classiness. It took a lot of outbidding on eBay and sniping sales on Amazon. God, Kurt could write a book on how to interior decorate on a budget if he wanted to, however that would make him feel pathetic. Everything was presentable for Dani, however that damned sticker wouldn't come off. Kurt had tried every DIY sticker remover on the internet and it still stuck on. Witches and their impractical and stupid spells. Kurt would never understand them. He leaned back in his high chair and checked his reflection on his cell. He looked amazing. What else was new.]

F2F: Daytime Drinking (Revii&Cooper)
Throwing his phone aside onto the bed, he managed to get up and do as planned. Shower, smoke, get dressed and out the door in just over half and hour. He figured he’d have to take the subway so wanted to have plenty of time.
Choosing to go with casual like they’d agreed. Black skinny jeans, black t-shirt and boots put with his leather jacket. Most of his wardrobe was filled with black or neutral colours. It was nice to blend in to the background, whereas when he was performing or wanted attention. Then did the vibrant colours come out.
One crammed subway trip and he was in lower Manhattan. The brisk winter air catching his chest as he headed down the street. Being in New York for eight years of his life meant he knew the place like the back of his hand. Especially the bar scene. That was what he was most familiar with.
It didn’t take long to find the desired bar. Heading inside as he smiled at the waiter. “Hell Boy Margarita please” he murmured and len his elbows on the bar. Glancing around at the occupants as he searched for the familiar face.
Thanking him for the drink in exchange for cash, he waited by the bar but had eyed up and empty booth near the back of the establishment. People watching was something Cooper openly did and he had to remind himself to stop staring sometimes. Yet his attention was caught when she walked in.
“Hey Harps, how’s it going?”

F2F Para Interaction: Discord Upload
Who: Rose McCoy & Dani Harper ( @daniharperdominant ) Where: Dani’s suite When: 13/10/20 Why: Rose escaped an uncomfortable interaction by climbing in Dani’s bathroom window, friendship ensues. What: Natural ending to the thread
Rose 13/10/2020
Rose & Dani: F2F @Rei || Dani & Marley
Rose walked with her book bag slung over one shoulder and absently sucking on a lollipop. It was a ball-gag cherry pop but she was enjoying it all the same, she hadn't been allowed one in so long. Rose caught a flash of red hair out the corner of her eye and tossed herself quickly and smoothly through the closest open window. It was a bathroom and she shoved the blind down after her, crouched and peeking through the crack to check if the coast is clear. Rose tensed all over when the door opened behind her and she didn't turn around, hoping maybe they would just go away?
dani harper
There were a lot of things that Dani expected at Devereux. Accidentally walking into a room where people were having sex, the occasional public scene, all of that. One thing she'd never experienced, in her entire first year and the few weeks of her second, was someone in her bathroom. In fact it took her a moment to be sure of what she was actually seeing. "Uh...are you lost, or do you just get off on sneaking into people's rooms?"
dani harper
That at least made some kind of sense, and Dani relaxed a little. "Oh - yeah, sure, but if you're going to hang out why don't you come into my room? Be a little more comfortable." She chuckled a little at the compliment, extending her hand as well. "Dani Harper, Dominant. It's a pleasure to meet you, Rose. Can I get you a drink or anything?"
rose mccoy-schuester
She turned slowly, grimacing. "I'm avoiding someone." Rose explained, figuring this person deserved some clue as to why she'd suddenly entered a poorly executed action movie. "Can I hang out for a sec?" She asked then paused "... Nice bathroom... very clean" Rose sat down out of her crouch and offered her hand "Rose McCoy, Switch."
rose mccoy-schuesterBOT13/10/2020
Rose smiled at the friendly interaction and shook hands enthusiastically. Ross's jaw twitched when she realised she was speaking to a Dominant and took her hand back, lowering her eyes in submission. "Sorry Miss, do you have a title you like used?" This was her first interaction outside the control of her ex with a Dominant peer. She wasn't fully sure how to act. "Do you have orange juice", she asked hopefully peaking up at Dani .
dani harper
"Miss is fine," Dani promised. "And please take a breath - I can just about see the tension vibrating off of you. This isn't a scene, you used a title, everything's okay. You can look at me, I won't turn you to stone or anything," she chuckled. "And yes, I've got some orange juice. Just grab a seat on the couch, and I'll be right there with it."
rose mccoy-schuester
Rose attempted to do as instructed and artificially lowered her shoulders in a show of attempting to relax. She glanced up at Dani a couple of times as if getting used to staring into the sun. "Thanks" she said and unfolded herself from the floor, instead taking up space on the couch. She was glad about the orange juice. " Are we pulp or no pulp people? It's an important personality test." Rose quickly got comfortable and took a decorative pillow to hug to her abdomen.
dani harper
"You're welcome," Dani smiled. As she headed for the fridge she looked back over her shoulder at her mysterious intruder. "We are definitely pulp people, so hopefully that passes the test." She'd never really cared much one way or the other, truthfully, but it was what she had in the fridge and so that's what they'd drink. Pouring each of them a small glass, she headed back to the couch to deliver one to Rose. Taking a seat at the other end of the couch, she raised her glass. "To new friends who sneak in through windows."14 October 2020
Amlee ~ Rose
Rose bobbed her head "Pulp is superior" she agreed "Thanks" she took the juice and raised it to the cheers "You say that as if you're supposed to make friends any other way" she smiled into her glass. "You are very chill about this which makes me wonder if this is a common occurance either for this college or for you personally". Rose took great care with the tassels on the decorative pillow "Where's this pillow from?"
dani harper
"Oh good. I'd have hated to fail my very first test," she laughed. "I mean usually I meet them when they haven't snuck into my room, but this works just as well." Dani shrugged. "I'm just fairly chill in general - this isn't the first time I've had strangers wander into wherever I lived. And that pillow...I think was a gift from someone whose couch I lived on for a while."
rose mccoy-schuester
"I would have forgiven you angway" she assured her brand new friend. "I actually think this is the superior way, it cuts down on the awkward small talk portion where you don't know if you should hang out. If someone is chill with surprise window guests then you know." She deduced. "I like it, it doesn't look like it's mass manufactured, someone made it. And that's pretty cool."15 October 2020
dani harper
"Well, I appreciate that," Dani chuckled. "It's nice to meet someone so forgiving of my stance on pulp." She had to admit that Rose did have a point, it was easier to get to know someone when you knew if you were comfortable with them sneaking in your window. "I suppose that's true, although in the future if you wanted you could just knock on my door." A smile tugged at her lips. "Yeah, she was super crafty. Did all kinds of things with her hands." Dani hesitated for a moment. "Want to talk about why you're hiding in my room?"16 October 2020
rose mccoy-schuester
Rose nodded her head and grinned "Noted, I suppose I can knock on a door" Rose looked down at the pillow and fiddled with it. "Is it... important?" She asked cautiously. Dani had asked, not demanded the truth from her.... yet. "What were you getting up to today? Am I getting in the way of plans?" She fretted. "Please go about your usual day, I'll climb back out the way I came in a minute." She assured the resident of the room.
dani harper
"It's worth a try, anyway. If I'm in I'll usually answer and let you in, and if not then my roomie can always let you into my room." There was nothing in it worth stealing except her guitar, so she didn't much care if Rose was in by herself. "It's not, no. I just thought I'd offer if you wanted to talk about it, but if not that's fine too." Dani smiled. "No plans. I was just going to sit and play a few songs while I gathered my thoughts."17 October 2020
rose mccoy-schuester
"Who is it you share with?" Rose asked, she knew very few people in this place so it wasn't likely that she knew them. "I promise to try the door next time but I make no promises that the door will be a habit, I'm quite fond of the window" She teased. Rose breezed straight through acknowledging what brought her through the window in the first place, and ignored the topic completely. It had been working for her so far. "Play songs? Do you play an instrument? What music do you like?"
dani harper
"Zoe Rose. She's gorgeous, so I'm sure you're going to notice if you see her." Dani wasn't being falsely modest comparing herself to the other Domme, because she really was beautiful. "Fair enough, just try not to use it when I'm...you know, actually in the bathroom." When Rose didn't stop to explain what had brought her there, Dani stopped pushing - she didn't need to know. "I do indeed - my guitar is in the bedroom. Indigo Girls, Imogen Heap, Sarah Mclachlan, things like that."
rose mccoy-schuester
"I'll look out for her." Rose agreed. "Yeah, that would be a bit awkward. We could install a doorbell? Or a smoke signal system? Do you know morse code?" Rose thought outloud, with no real intention on busting in on Dani in the bathroom but it was fun to imagine scenarios like she was a little girl and they were going to build a tin can telephone to communicate. "Amazing, I played the flute for a minute when I was 12 but then everyone realised that it was either I gave it up or everyone go deaf. It was an obvious choice." She laughed. "Can I hear you play?"
dani harper
Dani snorted. "Doorbell, maybe. Smoke in the bathroom's just set off my smoke detector. And I definitely don't know morse code." That wasn't completely true, she thought she remembered how to do SOS, but that wasn't really helpful and didn't even really count. "Ooh, nice - I love the flute but I never had any talent for it. It would have been kind of impressive if you deafened a whole town though," she laughed. "Yeah, of course - hang out, I'm just going to get my guitar from the bedroom."18 October 2020
rose mccoy-schuester
"I'll look into the doorbell idea." Rose promised "The flute is very hard." She agreed and watched Demi leave to grab the guitar. As a creative, Rose had always wanted to find an instrument that she could play and become good at. However, despite the lengthy practice she hadn't found herself improving enough to justify the effort.
dani harper
"I appreciate that. And it's much tougher than people give it credit for, that's for damn sure." She grabbed her guitar from where it was sitting in its case and brought it back out to the couch to sit on the arm. It was tuned, so she launched into something old but recognizable. "...but there ain't no way I'm ever going to love you, now don't be sad. Baby, don't be sad, 'cause two out of three ain't bad..."

SHE’S IN MY BONES ↠ F2F
@profdharps
Marley didn’t know how she had gotten the courage to even be standing outside of the classroom right now. Reeling from last night, the tiny brunette wasn’t even sure how she wound up getting out of bed. She texted her professor, her music professor late yesterday afternoon and wound up reconnecting with the person who had shaped the better part of her life. Savannah, Dani’s younger sister was Marley’s best friend, from cradle to grave, fast friends in preschool, the pair shared an unbreakable bond. From kindergarten to college, to every moment in between, they were never apart. And wherever Savannah was, Dani was always there with a warm but critical eye, always looking out for the pair, especially Marley. Dani always made sure that Marley and her mom were taken care of, whether it was help with math homework or babysitting Marley after school, to leaving groceries on the front stoop For Marley, growing up in a single parent, low income household, Savannah was her sister, the Harpers, her family and Dani, her biggest supporter. When the Harpers disowned Dani, Marley, who was fourteen and a half at the time, cried for a month and stopped coming over. Not because Dani of course, but in silent protest to in support of the Harpers’ treatment. Savannah agreed and came over and that’s how it went. Marley moved away, Savannah did too and with their weekly FaceTime calls and visits for the holidays, not much had changed between them. But Marley had changed, the shy and awkward teenager was now a taller, slightly less awkward and shy, talented musician. She studied composition specifically, wrote her own songs and found solace in the notes and lyrics when words were hard. And she never stopped thinking about Dani. Savannah would tease you about how much you talked, wondered that you stoped And those thoughts, whether Marley was willing to acknowledge it or not, meant something; in the reasons why she had given herself a once over in the mirror or was now fidgeting awkwardly in the door jam of Dani’s classroom, waiting for the other to notice her, or not. “Um, hi.” she nearly squeaked, almost too stunned to make eye contact.

baby you’re a haunted house ➡️ f2f reggie + harper 👻
“Yeah, I’m just going to leave you two to it on this one,” Harper stated to Matt and Reagan as she moved to back off of the dance floor. Sure, she was more than happy to dance with her second wife and future roommate when the time called for it but a slow song wasn’t it. One look at Matt’s twitter-pated expression was more than enough to sound the alarms and send her running for the bar. Her retreat, however, was dashed as she backed straight into the person behind her. “Sorry-”. Any further words were lost as she realized that she hadn’t just bumped into anyone. It was Reggie, sans her trusty leg brace, whole, healthy and smiling in that way that still managed to make her heart beat faster. “Isn’t it a little too soon to be breaking in the dance floor?”
#as if i could resist using this song title#dash: reggie#para: baby you're a haunted house#f2f#thx to jen and jules for letting me use their characters for a sec

YOU’LL TURN IT ALL AROUND AND YOU’LL COME BACK TO ME ➝ GRAKYA.
TAGGING ➝ Nakya Clarington, Gracie Harper.
LOCATION ➝ Coffee shop.
TIME FRAME ➝ 4/16, early afternoon (follow on from f2f).
WARNINGS ➝ Mentions of rape.
NOTES ➝ Kya finally explains what happened and why she left Gigi. Mostly.
GRACIE HARPER
Whether she’d admit it or not, Gigi would always have a special place in her heart for her ex. She was her first love – her only love, in fact – so as hurt as she was, she couldn’t even help but give her the chance to explain herself, even if she thought that it probably wouldn’t help. So far, it hadn’t, and she simply frowned in response, pausing to place her order, and then focusing on Kya again. “If my math is correct then you fucked someone else,” Gigi said bluntly, eyeing the other girl across the table. “I was completely in love with you too, you know? I was. But how do you forgive somebody who would do that to you? How do you believe that somebody was in love with you if they could just leave you like that? Because that’s what you did, Ky. Cheating aside You left me.” She paused, eyes filled with hurt. “I don’t know how to forgive you for that.”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
Nakya didn’t really ever get lost for words. She always had something to say. But Gigi’s questions were valid and she’d have to seriously open up about what had happened to answer them. Kya licked her lips, leaning in closer to the other woman so she could keep her voice down, “I have no excuse. Nothing excuses what I did to you, and I don’t expect forgiveness because that’s too much, I just want to explain because I’m hoping that if you know the truth, maybe if you understand you’ll know that I really did love you.” She sucked in a sharp breath and stared at the other girl, “I didn’t cheat on you. Your math is correct, but I didn’t cheat on you, and it took a long time for me to come to terms with that, because I blamed myself for a long time, and thought it was my fault, which is enough reason that I ran away, because I thought it was all my fault. But I didn’t cheat on you. I’m not making sense.” She stopped and took in another deep breath, bracing herself to say the words that she hadn’t been brave enough to say more than a few times in the past. “I was raped.” She finally said it, and then bit her lip, willing herself not to cry. “I tried to pretend like it never happened, I wanted to hide it from you and from everyone, and I thought if I just ignored it, it would go away. But then I found out I was pregnant. I was so scared Gigi. I was a kid and I was pregnant and I was in love with you, and I didn’t know what to do.”
GRACIE HARPER
Kya was right, she wasn’t making sense. Gigi didn’t try to interrupt, though. She simply watched the other girl curiously as she continued to ramble, wanting to understand her. She wanted so badly to have this whole mess straightened out, because hating Nakya was exhausting. It had been exhausting, she was ready to move past it now. She didn’t know what she’d been expecting as her ex continued, but it wasn’t that, and Gigi felt her eyes shoot open wide, the color draining from her cheeks. “What?” She said almost dumbly, looking at the other girl in slight disbelief. This wasn’t about her, it was about Kya, but she couldn’t help the overwhelming sense of guilt that washed over her. Gigi shook her head, voice quieter. “I don’t understand. Why didn’t you…” She trailed off. It wasn’t about her. Her hand came up to cover her mouth, her eyes growing sad as she looked at her ex girlfriend in silence for a long moment. “I don’t know what to say,” she finally whispered.
NAKYA CLARINGTON
The look on Gigi's face made her almost regret telling her the truth. Maybe it would have been better if she'd just let the other girl hate her. "You don't have to say anything, it was a long time ago." She whispered, wiping her own tears away and shaking her head. "I didn't tell you to try and fix things, I just wanted you to know the truth, I didn't want you to think that you'd done something wrong, that I cheated on you because you didn't make me happy or anything like that. I just wanted you to know." She heard her voice shake slightly as she spoke, and hated that she felt weak. "I didn't want to leave you, but I wanted to get away from him, and I didn't want to tell you."
GRACIE HARPER
Gigi stayed quiet as she tried to let everything sink in, shaking her head in disbelief. “I’ve been such a bitch to you,” she finally said, voice thick with sadness. She brought her gaze up to meet Kya’s, and didn’t even have to think about it as she stood from her seat to walk around to the other girl’s side of the table, her hands cupping her cheeks and her thumbs brushing away the tears that’d rolled down them. Her gaze scanned Kya’s face, and without thinking, Gigi leaned down to press her lips delicately to the other girl’s, eyes closing until she finally pulled back. Her hands remained where they were, protectively cupping Kya’s cheeks. “You don’t have to keep talking about this,” she promised, voice soft. “I’m so sorry, Ky. I wish I’d been able to do something to help. What can I do now? Tell me how to help.”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
Kya let out a soft chuckle when Gigi said she'd been a bitch, she wasn't sure what to expect from the girl next, but it certainly wasn't for the other woman to kiss her. Listening to her words, Kya shook her head, "You don't have to do anything. It's okay, I'm okay. And I have Alexa, and she's a total pain in the ass, but she's perfect. I'm really okay, you know? I'm kind of glad you were a bitch to me, if you didn't care it would have been a lot worse. And I deserved it, I don't blame you at all, if it were reversed, you know I would have been a bitch, too."
GRACIE HARPER
Gigi stayed close once she’d pulled back from the kiss. She didn’t care that she could feel a couple eyes on them from people at the surrounding tables; they could stare all they wanted. She took in her ex’s words, nodding her head in understanding. “I just wish you’d told me,” she admitted, finally dropping her hands from Kya’s cheeks. She gave her a weak smile, before going to take her seat back again, but reached her hand out across the table for Kya’s. “I could’ve done something. Even if it just meant being there for you. You know that I would’ve been there.”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
"I know you would have. I mean, this me knows you would have. And back then, I probably knew it, too, but it I was just too scared to think straight." There was another part of this that Nakya hadn't told Gigi yet, and she wondered if she should lay it all out there now, or maybe save that for later. Maybe Gigi had learned enough about what happened then for one day.
GRACIE HARPER
Gigi really wasn’t sure what to say or do here. She was still trying to absorb everything her ex was telling her, and trying to ignore the way she was internally yelling at herself for the way she’d treated her. “I understand,” she said with a small nod of her head. Though, she would obviously never understand how Kya had felt, since she hadn’t been in her position. She paused before continuing, almost worried about the response she’d get. She didn’t know if she could cope with the idea of Kya suffering completely in silence. “Did you tell anyone?”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
Kya swallowed, sighing at the question and then nodded. “I did.” She admitted, biting her lip, “Not right away. Lucy came to be with me at the hospital when Alexa was born. Afterwards I told her. She was the first person I told. I was so afraid that I wouldn’t love my baby, I was afraid of what would happen. I guess once I held her and I knew how much I loved her, I finally felt like I could tell the truth.” Kya shrugged, “It probably sounds dumb. It was so long ago now, but at the time it all made sense, I guess.”
GRACIE HARPER
Not that the situation was good at all, but Gigi definitely felt some relief in the fact that Kya hadn’t been entirely alone in it. She was glad that she’d had her sister there, and nodded along as she spoke. “I’m glad you had someone,” she responded softly, offering the other girl a weak smile. “It doesn’t sound dumb. I don’t know what any of that feels like, but I can imagine it’s terrifying. There’s no right or wrong way to handle it.” Sucking in her bottom lip, she thought for a moment, finally letting out a small sigh. “Can we start over?” She asked, looking at the other girl across the table. “I don’t know what I mean by that exactly. I just know that I don’t want to keep hating you. I’m mad at myself for wasting so long doing that.”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
Kya frowned at her words, and shook her head slightly. “I don’t want to start over. I don’t want to erase everything from before that. I don’t want you to hate me either, but you had every right to, and we’re both different people now. So maybe instead of starting over you can just give me another chance, so I can prove to you that I won’t run away again. Pick up where we left off maybe? Without all of the anger and fear?” She asked, her eyes hopeful as she met the brunettes, wanting more than anything just to have the girl in front of her in her life again.
GRACIE HARPER
Although she still felt like crying for the other girl, Gigi found herself chuckling softly, shaking her head. “That’s what I meant. I don’t want to erase what we had in the past, I think that was pretty fucking special,” she admitted, the small smile still settled on her lips as her gaze met Kya’s. “I like that, though. The idea of picking up where we left off. We have a lot of lost time to make up for.” Gigi paused for only a moment, not giving herself the chance to really think too deeply into it, before she continued. “Ky, can I take you to dinner one night this week?” She quickly added. “If it wasn’t clear, I’m asking you out.”
NAKYA CLARINGTON
She couldn’t fight her smile as she heard Gigi speak, and she really didn’t want to. “We do,” she agreed, when Gigi mentioned lost time and then nodded again at her question. She could feel her cheeks grow hot, though it didn’t show on her dark complexion. “I’d like that,” she said softly, reaching across the table to squeeze Gigi’s hand. “Just let me know when and I’ll get a sitter.”

Chewie || DaniSam F2F
Who: Sam Evans, Dani Harper (@shiftingdani), Ari, Fiyero Where: Undique Stadium When: October 6, 2018 What: Dani and Sam train together as Socius’ for the first time General Notes: Minor violence from the usual training
Sam walked into Undique Stadium with Ari beside him. It was a training day with Dani, a first since they became Socius', and he was ready to see how they worked together. He already had seen her fighting once before at Pagan Pride, but the second he thought of that, Sam's thoughts began to stray towards the aftermath. Quickly shaking it off so he wouldn't get distracted by the memories, he began to do some stretching while he waited for her to arrive.
Dani wasn´t exactly thrilled about this whole fighting thing. She had been a fighter all her life, yes, but more in the sense of having to stand up for herself and surviving by getting by. Not actual surviving because her life was threatened on a daily basis. Still, she could have done way worse than being paired up with Sam, so she´d be fine. At least for today, so she made her way to Undique, waving at Sam when he came into view. "Hey," She offered him a smile before joining in with the stretching. "So...this whole Socius´ thing...pretty interesting. Have you thought about a word we could use yet?" She assumed that would probably be a thing they should settle first.
Sam was in the middle of cracking his knuckles when he saw Dani. He smiled and gave her a wave. "Hey." They had to get down to business so he nodded his head. "It is. It's a...big deal." He didn't even know how anyone else was taking it for the most part. Or who they had aside from Rachel. Sam had been wracking his brain trying to think of a word to use for them but didn't have an idea. "Well, one good thing about that is only we can use it. So it's not like it has to be secret, but it should also be something important to the both of us and how we remember not to just idly say it if we happen to touch the pendant." He was rambling now, out of nervousness likely. "So maybe something related to a movie?"
Dani nodded. She knew not everyone was taking this as well as them. Which was understandable considering with whom some people had gotten paired up with. She didn´t mind being with Sam, they were friends ( though she didn´t know what she´d done if she had been paired with Kitty ) but it wasn´t this easy for everyone. "Yeah, I agree. Something nerdy," She then chuckled as she stretched her legs. "How about something from Star Wars? We both like that. A lot.”
Sam thought about the different things they could use from Star Wars. There were so many good options and he wondered how silly it would be to just say a word in the midst of fighting for their lives. He didn't even want to consider that. "Yes, we do." He couldn't help himself and began an impression, "Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father." He then decided he had to get a little serious. "Well. Let's see what sounds good. Droid. Lightsaber. Leia. Solo. Skywalker. Vader. Chewbacca. Chewie." He chuckled imagining calling out Chewie and someone being so confused about why he was doing that. "Rey. BB8. Nah too many syllables for that one. It has to be something we can say quickly if needed."
Dani smiled at Sam´s impression, nodding. "Yeah, definitely the right choice for a word," She then chuckled. It would surely be sounding silly in the midst of a battle, but it would probably also ground them. Make sure they focused and pulled them out of a panic. "Oh I love Chewbacca!" She then nodded. "Or maybe Chewie, then. Since that´s shorter." Dani nodded. "Should we try that would first? Or like...how to we activate it? By saying it the first time while touching the pendant?"
Sam was glad they could come into agreement so quickly. Despite the fact neither of them were completely comfortable with having to prepare for battles, they both were able to figure this out together and come up with a way to get to the other if needed. "Yeah, I think so. Let's give it a shot." He put his hand on the pendant around his neck, remembering he had to use his right hand, the dominant one. In the movies, he always saw people closing their eyes when doing this and wondered if he had to do this or if it was just something his extra self (or the rper's extra self) considered. "On the count of three?" He asked to make sure she was ready.
Dani nodded, glad they had managed to get a word so quickly. Part of her still hoped they wouldn´t have to use it in the near future, but considering how life had been going lately she really expected this to come around sooner or later. "Yes." Dani then agreed as she took the pendent into her right hand and glanced down at it. "One...Two...Three..." She then counted. "Chewie."
Sam nodded in agreement and once she was done counting, he said, "Chewie." He looked down to see the pendant shine once they said the word and he knew it had worked. They were now bonded, at least through the pendants. "Alright." He looked over at Ari to make sure he was ready before looking back at Dani. "Ready to do this?"
Dani was still glancing down at the pendant, nodding as she noticed that it was shining. Alright, so first thing done. That was a good thing. Now they´d at least never be able to actually lose each other and as much as she hated the idea of getting into another fight soon she´d at least always knew where ONE of her friends was. "Yeah, let´s go,"
Sam rolled 1d7 = (7) = 7
Sam decided he would try to see how she did getting out of an enclosed space. He activated his magic circle and called out, "Whirlpool," watching as a wave of water flowed towards her before going around her.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (6) = 6
Dani had to admit that she had never actually watched Sam use his magic. Not consciously anyways. She knew his affinity though and was soon greeted with a wave of water that enclosed her. Luckily she didn´t mind getting wet. So Dani simply dropped to the floor and tried ducking away under the water, managing to not get wet in the process before she was back on her feet.
Sam rolled 1d7 = (7) = 7
Sam was impressed seeing how she got out of the whirlpool. His next spell he decided on was, Water whip and he swung it low so that it would knock her off her feet.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (4) = 4
Dani was ready for the next attack, though admittedly she didn´t expect it to be an actual whip ( made of water but nonetheless ) she tried to jump to avoid getting hit, but got caught with one foot and ended up stumbling to the floor. "Ugh." She complained as she got up to her feet, focusing on Sam. She could feel her own magic bubble up as she changed her appearance and shifted into him so she could confuse him as she launched forward to hit him with her fist.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (6) = 6
Sam rolled 1d7 = (3) = 3
Sam thought he was prepared for what her next move would be and then he suddenly saw himself running towards...himself? It took him a moment to react because he was looking on in confusion just long enough for her fist to meet his face. "Oh! Nice." He was seriously impressed, having never actually seen her shift before. It was freaky to see himself on another person, but an impressive move. But he couldn't stay down for long and called out, Water jet to blast a stream of water at her chest to move her further away from him.
Sam rolled 1d7 = (1) = 1
Dani rolled 1d6 = (5) = 5
Dani was glad her distraction seemed to be working. It would work well if they worked together. She could try and distract the enemy while he prepared an attack. Because as much as she enjoyed punching people she was aware that his spells were probably more effective. When she once again found herself attacked by a stream of water she ducked out of the way and was back to her feet within a second. She was keen on repeating her attack from before, focusing on turning into Santana this time before launching herself at him once more, foot first, to knock him off his feet.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (7) = 7
Sam rolled 1d7 = (2) = 2
Sam needed to focus less on how impressed he was and more on defending himself because Dani was seriously kicking his butt now that she was close enough. He was just preparing a spell when she turned into Santana and he found himself completely surprised. She had kicked his butt enough times so it caught him off guard and he found himself on the ground. "Dang, she'd be so pissed if she knew you did that and she wasn't here to see it." He said, groaning as he stood back up. Water rope he watched as the water rope formed and wrapped around her wrist before he snapped it to toss her across the room.
Sam rolled 1d7 = (4) = 4
Dani rolled 1d6 = (4) = 4
Dani grinned, giving him a nod. "She´d have enjoyed it though," She then told him before trying to dodge the rope made from water than was launched at her. She then told him before trying to dodge the rope made from water than was launched at her. She just managed to escape by launching past Sam and then decided to change her form once more. When Sam turned he´d be faced with Blaine´s puppy dog eyes and an arm wrapped around his waist that would, hopefully, have him thrown to the ground in judo like fashion.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (3) = 3
Sam rolled 2d7 = (4+5) = 9
Sam was just getting his bearings when he found himself face to face with Blaine. He just raised an eyebrow at her, really, did she think Blaine's gorgeous puppy dog eyes worked on him? Not as much as a certain other brown haired person. However, he didn't let the thought get to him as he called to Ari, "Ari, back!" He got out of Dani's hold just as Ari climbed on her back, using his claws to dig into her shoulders.
Dani rolled 1d6 = (2) = 2
Dani admittedly, had been waiting for him to bring in Ari, but she hadn´t expected it to be right there and then. Which was probably why it hurt to damn much. "OUCH!" Dani yelped as she tried to shake off the cat. "Alright, you wanna play with cats?" She then asked as she turned back into herself and then called to Fiyero for him to jump towards Sam and claw at his chest.
Dani rolled 1d6+1 = (1)+1 = 3
Sam rolled 1d7 = (1) = 1
Sam winced, realizing that Ari got her deep. But at least he knew he had a strong little companion when he needed, or remembered to bring the little fella. "Oh boy, ouch!" He winced when Fiyero managed to get him right in one of his pecs. He shook Fiyero off before picking Ari up. "Hey, Ari, surf's up." He called out, Water wave and pushed the water beneath Ari so he was riding the water towards Dani to land on her shoulder to distract her.
Sam rolled 2d7 = (4+3) = 7
Dani rolled 1d6+1 = (2)+1 = 3
To be quite honest, Dani was more distracted by the water than she was by the cat on her shoulder. She was hit and shook her head, trying to keep the water from getting into her eyes. „Damn it,“ she laughed as she removed Ari from her shoulder and instead called for Fiyero to Land on Sam‘s head.
Dani rolled 1d6+2 = (6)+2 = 8
Sam was a bit distracted when he heard his friend laugh, something he hadn't heard anyone do in a week. It felt refreshing, until he remembered where they were once the cat landed on his head. He winced when a claw got his cheek pretty good and he deposited Fiyero back on the floor. Rainstorm he sent a cloud of rain towards her.
Sam rolled 1d7 = (1) = 1
Dani rolled 1d6+1 = (1)+1 = 2
Dani honestly couldn’t quite help the chuckle that fell from her lips as she stood under the rain cloud that was barely getting her wet. “What was that?“ she asked with a laugh before she chose to go with one last shift, going for Ryder this time, as she launched herself at Sam to spear him to the floor.
Sam rolled 1d7 = (6) = 6
Aether, God, Sam thought to himself, he really needed to stop getting distracted when she shifted! But her shifting into Ryder made him stop for a second but then he remembered it wasn't actually him and he simply wrapped his arms around her when she came at him and rolled them so now she was the one being tackled. Of course, the one time he finally got to have Ryder again like this when it wasn't in a dream, it was actually Dani so he simply got up and raised an eyebrow. "Should we keep it up or do you think we trained enough for one day?"
Dani glanced up at him with a smile before she shifted back into herself and lifted herself up onto her ellbows. “I think we’re good,” She then nodded. “We work well together. I’m best at distracting people and you can sneak attack when they’re occupied with me. And if that doesn’t work I can still punch them in the face.”
Sam grinned and held out his hand to help her up if she wanted to. "Great! I think this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership." He said, glancing around to see the mess his water had made. He muttered a quick dry spell before looking back at her. "So how about we grab some lunch to celebrate our first training together as Socius'?"
Dani took his hand and let herself be pulled up to her feet. “Lunch sounds perfect,” She the agreed. “And i might need some plasters for where Ari sneak attacked me,” she chuckled.
Sam looked at her apologetically before touching his own cheek. "Yeah, Fiyero got me good too. We're in good company." he glanced over at Ari, who looked way too proud of himself. "Let's go get you patched up."

Twinception || F2F: Harper, Dallas.
Malakai frowned, wiping all of the glitter and the eyeliner off of his face. The flirting hadn’t seem to be working and neither has his interrogation, so in order to see if Dallas actually did feel anything for his brother, he was determined to try and get him to admit it. Sure, this Cullen guy seemed nice and all, but this was his brother’s happiness he was worried about. Putting on a hat, he looked in the mirror, nodding. Without his nail polish and eyeliner, he looked just like his brother. It fooled Dallas once, it should be hard to fool him again.
Heading towards Dallas’s dorm, he knocked lightly, making sure to try his best to sound like his brother, rather then his sarcastic self. “Hey Gor-Dallas.” He corrected himself. “Was wondering if you wanted to hang out. Just left dance practice and didn’t want to return to the dorms just yet.”

Ash was glad the door was unlocked, she wanted to slip into Dani’s room as quick and as unnoticed as possible. She didn’t even know she was holding her breath until she got to the other side of the door and spotted the Dominant waiting for her on the couch. Joining her, it didn’t take long for the submissive’s head to be in Dani’s lap and the fingers carding through her hair to make her content enough to quickly grow sleepy. She’d taken a few sips of beer and there was something playing on the TV but Ash got distracted with watching Dani instead, slow blinking, fighting her sleep, and thinking about how much easier things were just a few weeks ago. @daniharperdominant

Sitting with her seat reclined and a grin on her face, she chuckled at her own text as she waited for the brunette to appear. Grinning, she leaned across the console to open the passenger seat door. “Get in loser we're going shopping!”

KIDS IN TROUBLE | F2F
It wasn’t normal for Zoey to be called in Zeke’s school. He has always been kind and smart and just a sweet little boy. So, when she finished assisting a dying patient in the emergency room, Zoey was greeted by the shocking news. Apparently, Zeke’s school called about ten minutes ago and was asking the mother to go to school to pick up the little boy from the Principal’s office. How bad was the situation that a five year old boy would be sent there? Immediately, Zoey ended her shift five minutes earlier to run to Zeke’s school. The worried mother was shaking on her bus ride and completely ignoring everything around her. The moment she got to the school, Zoey quickly saw Zeke waiting outside the Principal’s office. “Zeke! What happened? Baby, what’s wrong?” She ran to embrace her child, instantly checking if he was hurt or had a bruise. “Tweety and his friends. They’re gone.” Who could Tweety be? The assistant of the principal saw Zoey and was asked to go inside the office to meet with the head as well as another parent. Having another parent there could mean that there was trouble between the two kids. Zoey kept her kid’s hand on hers as they entered.
“Good afternoon, Principal Anderson. I am Zoey Harper. Zeke’s mother.” She introduced herself, noticing a father and her daughter in the room as well. She took a seat and immediately asked why they were there. Turning to the gentleman, she gave him a smile. “Did my son do anything to your daughter? I’m so sorry. I’ve raised him well enough so I’m sure if she got hurt, it wasn’t my son’s fault. It’s probably just a misunderstanding.”
