It was funny how Denver turning to be more and more like home for Katherine especially after some of her friends and even her siblings decided to followed her to the Mile High City. But if there’s someone she never thought would see again in her life, it would be Ezra Carter, the man she shared many tabloid gossips and stories with, and most of them weren’t the good kind. Two kids from rich and famous families creating havoc and running wild. From Manhattan to The Hamptons, the tale of their drunken nights and party lives are public consumption which evidently turned Katherine into the troubled bratty princess that she was before she decided to change.

After many summers and many other times they wasted their parents money on booze and extravagant lifestyles, they cut ties when Katherine decided to travel the world to escape the life she had in states and wanting to go somewhere no one knew her. So to see him again here, in this building of all places was a big shock for Katherine, as well as triggering some of the old things she buried deep inside. “Of all the cities and of all the apartment buildings in the world, you happened to chose this one,” she finally said after her initial shock, an amused smile was on her face as she walked closer to him, “Ezra Carter... I haven’t seen you in what? Almost five or six years? Aren’t you going to give me a hug?” she teased the man.
