#eyyyy i remembered a friday life update on a friday

Happy Friday, friends! It was a surprisingly good week! The weather has been really nice all week (though I haven’t made it to the park or beach yet but SOON hopefully). I watched a bunch of Critical Role while learning a bit of resin making stuff, and working on coasters every morning for the past... 4 days? It’s been really nice, taking time to just be creative and have fun learning a new craft <3. I also finally ordered a new dresser, and got new curtains, and just need bookcases and a new desk chair to round out the stuff I wanted to re-do my room with! On top of that, no doubles at work this week, though I did pick up some extra shifts on days off to help out. Plus the Taylor Swift Fearless (Taylor’s Version) re-release happened at midnight last night, and I absolutely drank 3/4 of a bottle of wine until 2 am while I listened to it straight through. So yeah, overall just a really good week! 

Reading-wise, I need to stop checking out more than one book when it comes in from the library hold system because I never finish the one I’m on in time to get to the next before I have to return it, and this is the second time I have to put a book back on hold to finish it, oops. I stopped setting aside time for things recently, like my ‘read an hour a day’ sort of goals I let shift to just ‘read’, so perhaps it’s time to try and shift that back so I’m a bit more productive with it. I am halfway through Shadow and Bone, though, and really interested in the worldbuilding there!! 

Writing-wise, definitely didn’t do as much as I wanted to this past week. I did post a Champagne Problems inspired fic I’ve been sitting on for a bit because I couldn’t get a second part to work for it, and decided to just let it exist as-is and end with that scene, at least for now. I’m hitting my Camp NaNo goal but just barely so far with trying to get my Bang fic to 15k by the end of the month. Fingers crossed for a more productive writing week next week >.>
