Another eykmaura prompt for me. Daughter's Touch is my 1st and best track of my own eykmaura playlist, and this lyric—

— hits me hard it gives me HEAVY EYKMAURA VIBE. I mean "take me back to your room in your house" reminds me of these two rooms; one is Eyk's house in his memory, the other Maura's bedroom in her memory. There are always the others, right? Eyk's wife and his daughters always wait for him and then the onext moment they burn with the house. Daniel is always next to Maura in the bed. Photos of them with Elliot are there. Point is both of them had someone before, in their memories.

And now think about Eyk and Maura staring each other with the lights off in one of the rooms. What was there is now gone—wife, children, husband... although memories of them are haunted in their mind. But for once and all all they try to see is each other. In their house of memory, they become intruders of their own memory. In this house, even it's only for a moment, they forget their memories and focus on this moment. Not anymore someone else's husband or wife, no somebody's mother or father... Together, they become themselves through the eyes of each other. In the darkness, all they see and feel is one another.

They feel something. Something that can't be ignored, something deepily connected to their core of souls.

The scene defenitely intends to show her back in the pov of Eyk before he talks to her. Like it's implying something important. Maybe he sees déjàvu at that moment. Watching her back... he might have seen it before. Not in this simulation, but in another.

And what had DARK said? Déjàvu is a glitch in the matrix, or a message from the other world.
