Lore Bit: The Scarlet Brothers

Prompt: A fan wondered what happened to Kaine after the events of Part 3. This should answer.

In the medbay…

Kaine: *sleeping in the hospital bed*

Ximena: His vitals are looks good, the fractures and tissue tears are healing well, frankly for a guy who was almost beaten to death your brother is making a very speedy recovery even by spider standards.

Ben Riley: He’s got some gene splicing from Wade Wilson too. When do you think he’ll be up?

Ximena: Any minute now I think

Kaine: *groans as he wakes up*

Ximena: Speak of the-

Ben Riley: Mind giving us a couple minutes?

Ximena: Okay if you’re gonna kill him, at least wait until he’s out of my med bay.

Ben Riley: Can’t kill him, but he’s gonna wish I can. *grabs Kaine by his suit collar and push him into a wall*

Ximena: *pager goes off* Salvado por la campana. *gets out of there*

Kaine: *sighs* What did I do this time?

10 minutes of explaining and chewing out later…

Kaine: Shhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt

Ben Riley: Do you know how much trouble you put me in? I swear, if I hadn’t promised our Peter on his deathbed that I wouldn’t kill you, I’d kill you!

Kaine: Like you could, little brother.

Ben Riley: Wanna bet?

Kaine: *stabs Ben Riley in the arm with a stinger*

Ben Riley: *lets Kaine go*

Kaine: *bolts*

Ben Riley: You’re a deadman Kaine! *runs after him*

A Mini Pillow Talk in Time Passage (takes between parts 1 and 2)

One morning in Miguel’s apartment…

Sunny: *Wrapped in nothing but a blanket she explores his apartment a little, eventually making her way back to the bedroom. Watching over the city of Nueva York, her hands lay on her abdomen and she thinks. Could this be where her and Miguel’s baby grows up?*

Miguel: *wakes up and sees Sunny by the window* Buena

Sunny: Kakahiaka *smiles at him then looks back out the window*

Miguel: Slept well?

Sunny: Yeah just an early riser

Miguel: I’ve noticed *He stares at her with a smile on his face, gets out of bed, gets closer, and kisses her forehead.*

Sunny: *blushing* Nueva York looks nice

Miguel: Think so?

Sunny: *nods yes* You have a nice place too.

Miguel: Gracias…. it can be yours too.

Sunny: *Looks him in the eyes* What?

Miguel: I said it can be yours too.

Sunny: Miguel… are you asking me to move in with you?

Miguel: *smirks and suddenly pulls her close wrapping his arms around her*

Sunny: *yelps and giggles*

Miguel: *kisses her* That’s exactly what I’m asking *he places his hand on her abdomen*

Sunny: *thinks for a minute and caresses his face* Okay *smiles*

Miguel: Mi vida *kisses her deeply*
