BLUE EXORCIST MAKEUP HEADCANONS

Rin Okumura: Rin doesn't like makeup but sometimes he use some foundation or corrector for his face.

Mephisto Pheles: Mephisto doesn't use a lot of makeup, he only uses eyeliner and eyepencil. he obviously covers his imperfections with foundation and corrector, he also uses foundation to cover his visible rot (rotten?) marks.

Amaimon: Amaimon doesn't wear any makeup, but his brother (Mephisto) tried to convinced him to wear eyeluner but he didn't agree. Instead he accepted to mark more his eyes with some eye pencil making a "tired eye" effect. Mephisto forced him to cover his marks too.

Shiemi Moriyama: Shiemi discovered makeup by Izumo, she likes to put her mascara on and a little bit of lip balm. When Izumo is with her, she does shiemis eyeliner.

Izumo Kamiki: izumo loves wearing eyeliner. she could die if she went out without it and she would spent 10 minutes at the mirror to do the perfect line.

I can totally see the ressemblance! It's definitively the idea I had while designing Edith but didn't had any real person (aside from, well, Eddie/Joseph). A bit of smudged eyepencil, some cheap red lipstick, and voilà!

too expensive, too many chemicals, not enough animal safe/environmentally friendly options (see: too expensive), too toxic-femininity-culture, too capitalistic, one product is designed to be worn with 5 others by the same brand otherwise it fucks up your skin if you do it wrong and don't have a whole before-and-after skincare routine to go with it (see: too capitalistic), BUT i do occasionally put on some eyepencil to darken my top lids and go gothic for particularly special occasions. Any other time though, I'm just slapping a bit of tinted moisturizer or a concealer over a blemish or a pimple scar or something. 99.999% of the makeup industry is a fucking joke tbfh
