🦸‍♀️ top ten cm season finales?
yes let’s do it!
Season 3: Lofi/Mayhem I had no idea what was going on this finale, but in a suspense way rather than a disorganized way. It is also where we get the absolutely iconic “god-given solace” line, so number 1 ofc.
Season 4! I think we can all agree that this was a wild episode, and it’s one of my favorites. I kind of felt bad for Lucas, but his brother had it coming. I watched this one with my sisters(who don’t watch cm) and they were in hysterics when hotch got shot.
Season 7. It’s one of the best. I love willifer, so I loved how it was centered around them. I had to pause the show after will got shot because i would’ve quit it if he died. It’s exciting with a happy ending.
Season 9. I love the episodes when the cops are bad, and this one is an episode i love rewatching. also alex and spencer’s goodbye at the end🥺
season 11. this one was extremely bittersweet because it was the first finale without derek, but it had me scared. when all the prisoners started getting unlocked with tara in the center i really thought she was gonna die.
season 13! This one was good and a major episode but extremely unrealistic because there is no way in hell both spencer and penelope are getting kidnapped and derek isn’t coming to save them. but i love love love when they bring back people from old cases (like lindsey vaughn) so i was excited
season 12! this one was just absolutely preposterous, i mean cat having lindsey as her lesbian lover and using a guard to get her pregnant and then lying to spencer and saying it’s his baby and than maeve being there in his flashback dream and than lesbian lover kidnapping spencer’s mom and all of this after he’s been in jail for months?!? wild absolutely bonkers
season 2! I really liked this one cause Frank actually really interested me and i was dying to see what happened to him but the ending was very anticlimactic . but little tracy was so cute. rip sarah and the fisher king girl
season 5! in hindsight this is probably a good episode, we have the core 7 and it’s in the good seasons but the entire finale is like ‘how bad can we torture derek?’ and it was so painful to watch. he also snaps at penelope😑but then they have that very cute makeup call. also the graphic violence against all the women was not it at all
season 1 the ever so iconic fisher king. it was good and very extravagant but that whole king arthur thing was weird i feel like afterward the writers realize that the finales don’t have to have such an outlandish story. plus elle😔 that was the beginning of her end.

what are your favorite twilight zone episodes :0
oh hii ok i haven't finished watching it yet but these are my favorite so far (in no particular order (for the most part))! it's gonna be pretty long so i'll continue under the cut 😳
1. and when the sky was opened (s1e11)
truly my favorite twilight zone episode of all time! the plot and characters are very well written (it's based on the short story "disappearing act" by richard matheson) and also the acting is really good too like the emotions are so vibrant and effective and real just wowzers. there's this one part where the look on the guy's face is just so haunting and idk it really sticks with me. also the actors 👀👀👀 i think everyone in the 50s/60s was just really attractive but yeah. also it's #relatable but in a sad way 😔 and it makes me cry so overall 5386464/10 very good highly recommend!
2. mirror image (s1e21)
Tumblr media
SUCH a great episode. the directing, the attention to detail, the atmosphere just mkaes it so interesting and thrilling to watch. it made me audibly gasp so much bc it's frightening. also the ending is just. wow. wow. great episode.
3. the after hours (s1e34)
Tumblr media
omg hi good cool episode !!!!!! right? wrong!!!!!! the directing in this episode makes it ABSOLUTELY FUCKING TERRIFYING to watch!!!!!!!!!! as if mannequins aren't scary enough on their own. i love the vibe of department stores in the 50s (i really wanna live during that time period!) and the atmosphere that's created is bonechilling and eerie. very very good episode bc it feels like a fever dream and as you will see most of the episodes on this list are ones where it feels like you're losing your mind and i love that. it also does a good job of like putting the audience in the shoes of the main character.
4. perchance to dream (s1e9)
Tumblr media
another terrifying episode? more likely than you think. this episode is a WILD RIDE (haha pun) and is the definition of a fever dream. the directing is so so so good and perfectly captures what a nightmare can feel like and it's exhilarating to watch bc it is also extremely terrifying. i once watched it to try to scare myself to sleep so i could have a nightmare just to feel something (it didn't work😔). OH YEAH ALSO THE TWIST AT THE END it spins your head i honestly didn't even see it coming WOW
5. twenty two (s2e17)
Tumblr media
another fever dream episode!!!!!!!! so cool the directing is wow and the setting is even more wow and theres so much tension in it and the ending i wasnt expecting it at all! very solid episode perfectly crafted
6. walking distance (s1e5)
this episode made me sob so hard! it's about like growing up and revisiting your childhood and it's so tender and sad but there's a good lesson ig idc. it's #powerful and i thoroughly enjoy it but it's also painful to watch bc it is TOO RELATABLE
7. where is everybody? (s1e1)
Tumblr media
genuinely the best pilot episode for any series that i've ever seen. it's so memorable and right off the bat makes the audience feel like they're going insane bc they don't know what the fuck is going on. this episode sets a VERY good precedent for what the rest of the show is gonna look/be like. very good one ! oh yes plot the plot was good and so was the directing but a little anticlimactic i think but whatevs.
8. two (s3e1)
Tumblr media
this episode is so <3333333333333333 i think it's a good first episode for s3 bc honestly it gets worse ngl. it seems kinda pointless but the ending is nice and honestly it's pretty much everything i wanna see on a screen like a woman with a gun in an army uniform? are you serious?? sign me up pls 🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽
9. nick of time (s2e7)
stereotypical predicting the future type episode but i really like it bc of the vibe. you know it's the 60s where there's diners and jukeboxes and milkshakes! i mean yes we have those things today but it just hits different in this episode just the vibe is chef kiss very very neat and nice and also the couple in it is really attractive. oh yeah i still like the plot tho and like what it means from a human pov like do you let a machine control your life or do you make those decisions by yourself and agree to face the conseqeunces? very neat i think ! it reminds me of the summertime that's the vibe of it i really wanna live during that time period.
10. the purple testament (s1e19)
Tumblr media
literally everyone in this episode is SO HOT 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 god. the plot is good too but it's pretty predictable but the concept is really cool and well written and ofc the ending is also predictable but whatever !
11. a hundred yards over the rim (s2e23)
very cool episode i love the whole cowboy / western vibe i know 🤚🏽 those were dangerous and not optimal times ok but seriously the drip and the whole saloons and small town stuff? can we bring that back pls and thank you xoxo but yeah this episode is cool and it has a very empty feel to it and it makes you feel like a stranger i do like it a lot
12. showdown with rance mcgrew (s3e20)
Tumblr media
oh i really like this one !! it's one of the only episodes i think that's like comedic on purpose. like the main character (the one in the cowboy hat) is so stupid and the way his character is written is mwah im blowing a kiss to the sky for him as we speak. the plot is alright it's like the redundant time travel so whatevs but i like this one bc it's funny:) i think after s1 the show went downhill bc u can see that they were running out of ideas so yeah. season 1 really had no reason to go that hard but it did!!
13. to serve man (s3e24)
Tumblr media
oh yes this episode is short and sweet and gets straight to the point which i really appreciate<3 just the vibe of it is very very good and there's nothing like a great twist to top it all off! solid episode 10/10 also the girl in it is really pretty
14. the night of the meek (s2e11)
this! one!! it is SO sweet and actually has a good ending and it made me cry and it's so pure and happy and nice and christmas and i love christmas and i love this episode
15. judgement night (s1e10)
Tumblr media
i love the trope of "one person realizes something is very very wrong in their world and they try to explain it to others but no one believes them making the main character feel like they're going crazy!" i would say this episode is haunting i don't remember like the specifics but i just remember watching it for the first time and just being like speechless and sad. the plot is very nice too and like the thought of eternal terror makes me very uncomfortable which was probs this episodes goal so good job !
essay over xoxo if u made it this far hi here's a hug<3

Some long overdue thoughts on The Good Fight season 3 (I stopped watching for ages because LIFE and binged the remaining like four episodes in a row the other day because this show is like crack)
tl;dr - an anticlimactic ending to a season that was badly dragged down by Michael Sheen
So the last point, before my binge, that I got to in this show was the hilarious Melania episode. I wish there was more Lucca in this show because she never gets a weak episode, as much as any episode can belong to one character. After that it’s all a bit... inconsistent? Completely incoherent thoughts without order ahoy:
Maia has always pissed me off but I think in this season she’s (intentionally ofc) at her worst. Horrible, horrible character, I’m glad we’ve probably seen the back of her beyond possible cameos.
Her tears upon finding out about The Other Women weren’t tears for them at all and it just makes me dislike her so much more that she pretty much just made it about how she felt guilty for backstabbing Marissa. Obviously, Marissa and their friendship is the real victim here. AND SHE DIDN’T EVEN NEED TO DO IT! Also, hun, you ditched Marissa and Lucca (your best friends? Your ONLY friends??) because you were bitter about being fired over your entitled, appalling conduct at work. Like. You have to applaud the writers here because this is just what entitled rich people are like. She is VILE.
And again GREAT writing because The Other Women thing was something they needed to be called out for, overcharging poor clients and nurturing a reputation as the anti-establishment champions of the just when Reddick, Boseman, & Lockhart are comprised of nauseatingly wealthy partners IS disgusting. Like I agree with them getting punished for that, but Maia (despite what she said when she tried to distinguish herself from Blum) didn’t sincerely give a shit. Her ongoing rage at being fired for acting out in the most obnoxious way is just something to marvel at.
The Lucca race storyline was... uncomfortable as hell and I’m not sure just what interpretation to make as a white viewer? I’m glad she said she shouldn’t and wouldn’t perform whatever anyone else’s idea of blackness was. I also feel like the show was trying to use our familiarity with Lucca to make us less sympathetic to what the other black lawyers were saying, which is odd because when they started kicking off in this season they were perfectly reasonable and right but by the end it devolves into this colourism and they come out of it looking quite unsympathetic (I loved what the guy from the mail room said to Roselyn on the subject). Again as a white viewer it doesn’t feel like my territory and I feel like I can’t really glean much from that storyline (not that I shouldn’t have an interpretation, just that I mentally cannot make a confident one because I don’t have the experience, which from a writing perspective isn’t a place you really want to leave your audience in?) because it was really brief and shallow. I hope season 4 makes more of an effort with it. Also curious to know who actually wrote all of this, because we know the show runners are white... right?
The Gary Carr cameo vodifjgoisdjgfosdijgfd
ENOUGH with the song interruptions! Enough! They’re not funny or informative or entertaining! I mute them!!!!
Drop the NSA thing oh my god. As much as it will always amuse me to see that guy on screen and shout “MARC!!!” in my best Vanessa Williams it is such an annoying interjection.
This Resistance storyline has been a TRIP. A really funny, really bizarre trip. There’ve been plenty of frustrations, like Diane pulling the “but doesn’t this make us as bad as them?” line on voting machines (no Diane, but as a well off albeit well intentioned liberal who is insulated from near enough every problem the political state of your country represents (indeed, it even benefited her in season 1) I can see why it might seem that way to you), and the extremely dirty tactics that group used (Fake Taylor Swift’s trans sister), but it’s all been great food for thought.
Then there’s the whole thing about how this is a group of people who are essentially pissed off that Hillary didn’t win and Trump did. Like... what would they be doing if Hillary did win? Nothing? They don’t seem principled or like they actually CARE about anything, they’re just angry that the Republicans won and the Democrats didn’t. Which, again as with Diane, leaves a bad taste in your mouth when these are people who are not terribly affected by the administrative change.
Them “swatting” her at the end was... a shock. But it’s all just a bit abrupt?
This will win me no fans but please let the next season open with Kurt’s fucking funeral.
“I thought this was for me... it’s for TRUMP?!”
Michael Sheen. Michael fucking Sheen.
He needs his own section on this post.
DREADFUL.
Having him in this show at all was a bit of a mistake and I don’t know WHY I want to resist criticising him, I’ve never particularly enjoyed him or anything he’s made, maybe it’s a rare moment of Welsh solidarity I don’t know. But he was unwatchable. And sure thing that’s partly because they dreamt up one of the most repulsive antagonists they could and asked him to play it, which he did, totally, but everything about his role in this season was just unsightly. He doesn’t lose (not really), and characters like that need to lose badly for you to be compensated for having to put up with them for so long. He doesn’t, and at least part of the reason he doesn’t is because the show is trying so desperately to make a really on the nose point about Trump and men like him who can do whatever they like but how you should stand up to them anyway and it’s all just kinda patronising. The same with that awful 4 chan guy but they use him sparingly at least (they could stand to use him less). They’re accurate portrayals of real people but they aren’t utilised.
And honestly his role just wasn’t necessary AT ALL. He was in it because they wanted him in it, not because he added anything whatsoever. They should have axed him and taken his fee and topped up Julianna Margulies’ so we could all have the Alicia return we all deserve TBH. (I’m imagining now that the original idea was he hired her to sue the firm? Which wouldn’t have quite held together but let’s be real neither did Maia).
And yet!!! I have no doubt at all there are reviews out there calling him the best part of the show and a “breath of fresh air”. Because that’s what always happens with things like this.
ANYWAY. Highlights of the season:
Jay’s monologue in the Nazi episode
Diane and Liz singing Prince
Liz
Diane
Lucca. She manages to bring every scene up like ten grades, she’s so underutilised. If they go ahead and give her the partnership (which they surely will cuz where else is her storyline going...?) I hope they give her the appropriate screentime.
The talking bruise
“Eric and Don?! What will I WEAR?!”
ASMR
I’m done now. God. I’m hopeful for season 4, but I do think season 3 has been the weakest so far and it’s a shame, because it’s also had some of the best moments of the entire show, but ultimately Michael Sheen was too heavy a burden.

My 13′s abt 13 Reasons Why
The show is deep. Like deep deep. Like it’s really tough to watch the show especially if you have your own triggers. Personally, I had to skip many parts including EXTREMELY GRAPHIC PORTRAYALS OF CUTTING, RAPE, ASSAULT (IN VARIOUS FORMS), ETC. The point is, props to the show for not omitting these explicit, yet highly important themes for its audiences.
I wish the opening sequence could’ve done more. Especially for a series that contains explicit visuals, it could’ve provided at least some contexts and warnings for each episode.
SELENA GOMEZ PRODUCED THE THING and okay ive seen photos of her and srsly guys, props to her. She was offered to portray Hannah but idk/c what happened.
Speaking of Hannah, KATHERINE LANGFORD did a terrific job. She was perfect for it. I felt her. I felt the pain through her and thanks to this fact, I was able to somewhat contain my triggers.
THE SHOW IS REALLY TOUGH TO WATCH. Second time saying this but I rly thought I could watch this straight for 13 hours or so but I obviously failed because of the intensity of every episode. I had to watch a movie after episode 9 (LIKE LEGIT BC I CANT CONTAIN IT ANYMORE) bc gadd. Tough shit man. Tough shit.
I cried watching the first episode. The second. The third. And until the 13th.
This show is of great importance. Stop whatever you’re doing right now and watch the damn show (at your own risk +)
IMPORTANT TOPICS INCLUDED IN THE SHOW: Rape, Violence, Bullying, Loneliness, Depression, Suicide, Legalities (in the context of filed lawsuit), LGBTQ+, Feminism, Intersectionality, The concept of having someone listen to you and not actually save you, & m-imp. KINDNESS, RESPECT and LOVE.
The book’s shitty for me. Has a dull, anticlimactic ending. But the TV SHOW DID JUSTICE. (Reading the book b4 watching the movie should at least prepare you for the triggers!!)
The last (13th) episode was a complete cliffhanger. Some are already petitioning for S2 and who can blame them for not having seen at least an episode of the aftermath of what happened?? Like ok. S2 should really happen (Maybe not focused on Hannah anymore. Maybe a cast-per-episode thingy or a spin-off or something.)
BRANDON FLYNN (AKA JUSTIN IN THE SHOW) IS FUCKING LEGIT THE DEAL HERE. MYGOD. THE SMILE, PEOPLE, THE SMILE!! HIS AURA. HIS JAWLINE. HIS EYES. HIS EVERYTHING. AND OH, HE’S GAY IN REAL LIFE AND HE’S DATING MILES HEIZER (AKA ALEX IN THE SHOW). SO FUCKING CUTE AND MY HEART UGHHREIOWGh.
Most important messages Ive got from this tv show is to always look out for the signs. To always give help whenever it’s needed. To never objectify women. To just be yourself and take no shit from the world. To do your thing. To never forget who you are in the first place. TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. To NOT BULLY someone. To be there for a friend or a loved one or even someone you barely know but has had an impact on you already and v/v. And lastly, TO FIGHT.
13 Reasons Why (currently 95% in RT) will ruin you and bring you back to pieces again. YOU NEED TO WATCH IT. Ive retweeted a post of all the triggers you should check out. All 13 episodes are now streaming in Netflix (((kala mo naman may Netflix acc ako kung makapag-plug, but for the sake of sakeness na lang din naman))) AND ofc, torrent sites. :)))))
Rating: 13/10 (personally). But technicalities and critic-wise, 8.5/10.
