“Vacation with the Fairies”

Blue skies, blue waters. All across the sunkissed white sands, you can hear the voices of vacation-goers having great fun.

Today, I’ve arrived in Ancyra, the Land of Pirates—

—Well, their branch of The World Guild Federation.

Fidel: ...My lady.

Emma: Yes?

Fidel: According to my memory, you stated that you would be taking a holiday over these next few days.

Emma: I did, but I’m delaying it a little. I was asked if I could help out at work...

Fidel: ......

Emma: ...Don’t look at me like that. They’re setting up more branches around the world every year. And they’re all shorthanded.

Fidel: I suppose it’d have been impossible for you to refuse. Your heart is soft to a fault, after all.

Fidel: Unlike a certain chef I know, I trust that you won’t overwhelm yourself to the point of a breakdown.

Emma: I-I’ll be fine. Thank you for worrying about me, Fidel.

Fidel: It’s no matter to me. However, you do have one problem... him.

Fuzz: No, no, no, no, no, NO WAY!!

Fuzz: You know I’ve been so, so excited ever since I heard you’re going on break!!

Fuzz: I wanted to go on a date, just the two of us! Especially since Emilio’s not around!!

Fidel: Fuzz. I will not have you disturbing my lady.

Fuzz: Mmgh... I’m not trying on purpose... but anyway...

Fuzz: What’s your deal with Emma-chan, Fidel? You’re aaalways clinging to her like glue—it makes me sick.

Fidel: I do not care to hear that from you. Nor do I care what you may think of me. I am merely her butler.

Fuzz & Fidel: ......

Emma: (I feel like... the tension is getting thick.)

Radius: Hey, little lamb. What’s all this fuss about? Finally decided you’ll be my pet?

Emma: Mm, you’re off by a lot there.

Radius: I guess you’re working again, then? Still not bored of all this, huh?

Radius: I say you toss all that in the sea and listen to me sing. It’ll put you in a most magical mood.

Emma: I appreciate the thought, but I can’t just throw my work in the sea. Plus, Sheila would get mad if I illegally dumped anything.

Radius: Ha, you’re as stiff as ever. I’d make it so easy for you if you just agreed to be my pet.

Radius: Hey... Enough of this, yield yourself to me. Let me indulge you, and I’ll take the greatest care of you.

Emma: T-Too close, Radius!

Fuzz: Excuse me! What are you doing!? Get away from Emma-chan! Far, far away! Now!

Fidel: ...My lady is terribly busy. She has no time to be entertaining dark fairies such as yourself, Radius.

Radius: Can’t I just be worried about my little lamb? She’s been working so hard, who knows what might happen to her.

Radius: If you’re really her butler, why don’t you take over her work, even by force, so she can have a break?

Fidel: I am effectively monitoring for any signs of overexertion. As her butler, I know my lady better than anyone else.

Fidel & Fuzz & Radius: ......

Emma: Um, guys. I’m not drowning myself in work... I just delayed my break. I promise I’ll still take it.

Emma: After I finish helping here, I’m planning to go to Yoka Island to unwind.

Fuzz: Yoka Island?

Emma: Yeah, it’s a resort destination. You can take a boat from here to get there. The members of this branch gave me a free ticket as a thank-you.

Fuzz: ! Then get it all done!! Get it done in a single second~♪

Fidel: ...I shall help you, my lady. Please complete your work promptly so you may enjoy your vacation.

Radius: Haha, did you listen to anything I said?

Fidel: It is my duty as a butler to assist my lady. You are attention-seeking dark fairies. We are not the same.

Fuzz: Huhh!? I can do stuff like helping too!

Radius: There’s no need to help her in the first place. I could just sing, and everyone here will forget all about their work. Easy and done.

Emma: That won’t solve the root of the problem, Radius!

And so, I ended up with three surprise assistants at work today—

In a flash, we finished up the tasks I was covering for, then we disembarked at Yoka Island.

Fuzz: Yay! A date with Emma-chan~♪

Fidel: Watch that you don’t get too carried away, Fuzz.

Radius: You say that, but you look ready to kick back and relax yourself.

Fidel: I have merely coordinated an outfit appropriate for a vacation.

Emma: Hehe. Thank you everyone. You really helped me out.

Fuzz: No problem~! But anyway...

Fuzz: Hey hey, what’re we doing first? I wanna do eeeverything you wanna do, Emma-chan!

Fidel: I have committed all information on Yoka Island to memory. Allow me to offer you an efficient plan to enjoy your experience.

Radius: Give me some time with you. It’s an owner’s job to reward his pet. I’ll be sure to pamper you well.

Fidel & Fuzz & Radius: Let us be off. / Come on! / Let’s go.

My heart flutters as my vacation with the three of them begins.

A thing I forgot to post about a while back, but an interesting detail I noticed in the Wolffort's Wedding extra cutscene: Sycras appears to be alive! In the golden route, Sycras is attacked by Gustadolph and falls off of Twinsgate's gate, presumably to his death. However, since the Wolffort's Wedding cutscene is only available after completing the golden route, this seems like a direct confirmation that he must have survived that somehow.

(I included a picture of his family as well just to support the idea that it's actually him and not someone just wearing his clothes haha, since the woman and girl that are with him appear to be his wife and daughter.)

Extra Story: 14 yo Kai

The Consequence of a Scar

“You know, I always feel this tingling sensation on my scar whenever I’m close to you, Philos,” 45-years-old Kai teased the man with horns, who was sitting beside him in the bar.

“A scar?” The man with a monocle asked.

“I don't think I remember having it outside the hotel,” Kai answered truthfully, “It showed up the second day I got here. It’s weird. It feels, nostalgic.”

Recalling from memory, it was also the second day when the drowning accident happened with the boy named Kai. Philos sipped his cocktail, “I wonder what happened.”

Kai sighed, “Yeah, I wonder what happened.”

So much had changed. The short black hair turned green and long. The spark of curiosity washed away with age. The chaste chattiness of a pure young boy turned into intricate flirtations. It was still there though, the boy named Koizumi Kaito.

Was reading Twincognito on AO3 when I stumbled across this gem again:

Now I really want to read a story where Bruce adopts Danny post Meta trafficking and is being his usual emotionally constipated self. His kids keep getting mad at him because he's treating their new meta brother who was trafficked poorly (generally being stilted in conversation with him, walking away hurriedly mid-conversation, avoiding Danny when he's feeling really awkward, etc). They think Bruce is discriminating against Danny for being a civilian, meta, dealer's pick, but really it's just Bruce being horribly socially awkward. Danny knows this because of ghost empathy and find the whole thing hilarious. The whole thing comes to a head with the Bat Kids staging an intervention in the Bat Cave.

On a rainy winter afternoon, Elicia waits at the entrance of a hotel for ten minutes after arriving at her destination. Meanwhile, she was chatting with her colleagues on a messaging app.

The woman listens from a short distance calling her by her nickname "Eli". The voice is Margaret, who was getting out of the cab, dressed in an attractive white coat and some pastel shades. Eli found her girlfriend so cute that he immediately reaches over to cover her with the umbrella she was holding.

"Thank you Eli-"-The thank you was interrupted by a sweet, long kiss. Finished, Marggie was delighted and speechless looking with her bright eyes at her partner.

"Shall we go inside? It's cold in here."

The two ladies, entering a famous restaurant in the capital, and with their elegant presence attracted glances from men, women and families. The aura of these ladies radiated happiness because they both felt so but also a bit nervous.

They sit near the window at a reserved table with a view from the ninth floor.

The waiter pours wine into the two crystal glasses and leaves.

Eli and Maggie have a chat about their work life and a little gossip they overhear with their colleagues while waiting for dinner.

Fifteen minutes later, two waiters arrived with the food, which the couple enjoyed slowly to take advantage of their stay at the restaurant.

The dinner was a feast of delicacies of varied dishes but in small portions, and in which Eli is used to, but not Maggie, being third time attending in this type of date.

Finally it was time for dessert and the glasses of tiramisu were set aside in front of the girls as Margaret reached out to touch Eli's hands, an act that caused the model and reporter to look finely at Maggie.

On this occasion, Maggie was very serious, something very out of character for a very cheerful and not very mature girl. Elicia's doubts popped into her head and her face flushes shyly. The adorable gestures on Eli's face take away Maggie's seriousness and she lets out a loud laugh, which spreads to half the room. Both notice that people are staring at them and the girls shy away, ducking their heads.

In a moment of silence, Maggie squeezes Eli's hands to get her attention, as soon as Elicia looks at Margaret, the dark-skinned girl begins to speak.

"Elicia, I had a fabulous time, it was very romantic all these details. With you, in places that are not usually my comfort zone, you, you make it fun, unique."

Eli again gets nervous but this time she gets her voice out.

"Maggie...what's this all about?"

Maggie avoids taking Eli's eyes off of hers, while, silently with one hand, she takes an object out of her small bag and displays it in front of Eli.

Maggie opens the box and shows her the opal ring, once given to her by Eli.

Elicia feels a strong pulse in her chest, very strong pain that brings out a tear in one eye, thinking of the worst case scenario that she soon believes will happen.

"I have the engagement ring you gave me, Eli. That time you asked me to marry you and my answer was left hanging."-Maggie expresses seriously letting out a sigh. Eli, controlling her panic attack, could barely contain her expression and a few tears.

"Now, it's time to give my answer."

Eli's heart was racing non-stop, she tried to turn a deaf ear, she didn't want to think about that scenario, the end of their relationship.

"Elicia, now it is my turn to tell you this, that I have already overcome this fear thanks to your unconditional love that you gave me since we met. You taught me to know what it's like to raise a family, and, even though it's just the two of us, I learned how wonderful and fun this experience is." Margaret's eyes shine brighter and she conveys more charm to Elicia's. Eli squeezes her chest with her hands, feeling her strong heartbeat pounding harder.

"Eli...will you marry me?"

The declared girl couldn't take it anymore and exploded from crying, cries of happiness she never expressed in her life, whose neutral personality hardly conveyed any expression at this moment, this time she looks like a child.

Eli's emotional shock caught the attention of the audience, who were attentive to this romantic act and Maggie, no matter anything else, gets up to hug her girl to comfort her, caressing the smooth hair.

" I'm so sorry Eli, I...should have been..."

"...pt"

"Eh?"

"I accept Maggie, I want to be your wife! Your partner for life, I love you!" Elicia's tender expression, that first time Margaret sees, melts her heart, and for this, she hugs her tighter while they both cry.

The audience, excited and touched like, applauds incessantly., symbolized in a congratulations and blessings for the future married couple.

As the sun slowly sinks into the horizon, our vacation nears its end.

I take a glance at Fuzz’s face from his place sitting next to me, but then—

Fuzz: Emma-chan, since you’re staring at my face, I’m gonna do it back! *stares*

Fuzz: ...Ehehe, you’re so cute...

Emma: (When he sends me a smile that sweet, it makes me sadder to have to leave...)

↪ Hold his hand

I take his hand before I can think. In return, Fuzz-kun happily rests his head on my shoulder. Fuzz: I love holding your hand! It makes me feel way closer to you, Emma-chan. Emma: ...Uh-huh. I feel kind of relaxed when we do this.

↪ Poke his cheek

When I poke his soft cheeks, Fuzz-kun shyly tenses his shoulders. Fuzz: Ahaha, that tickles... Hey hey? Can I poke at your cheeks too? Emma: Absolutely! ...Hehe, you’re right, it does tickle a little.

Fuzz: Hey hey, Emma-chan. Is it okay if ask something selfish one last time? Fuzz: ...I wanna stay together, just a little longer. Emma: Of course. We can stay here until the sun goes down.

Fuzz: Hehe...

The ocean, dyed the colors of the sunset, and Fuzz-kun’s smile. I take the sight in front of me and burn it into my memory.
