yall it’s been about two weeks since the initial exposure to poison oak. I’ve washed my sheets, clothes, towels, literally anything that was in my room on that day - all got thrown in a hot-water wash with extra sanitizing detergent. I’m still so fucking paranoid that the oils are everywhere. Did they get on the rafts we were using? The blanket we were sitting on? My backpack, somehow? I threw rafts and picnic blanket into the storage closet when igot home, sitting k. Jackets and stuff. I ended up moving them to my trunk and then washing my arms / hands with dish soap after just to remove any oils. I’m so fucking paranoid that the oils were on there and now they’re in my trunk, they’re on that blanket (idk how to wash it properly it’s two sided), the inner tubes, my closet and all the items in that storage closet. I swear to god I’m gonna contact that one research team that developed a spray that make poison oak oils glow under a black light and have them tear apart my house. I’m so fucking paranoid
