This cafe sits at 1088m above sea level, near the summit of Mt. Tomamu. It’s a great place to just sit back and soak in the scenery from above...if you can see it that is. . I was there during a heavy snowstorm that left visibility to near zero so it was a pleasant surprise when I saw these colourful and lively group of students come up and enjoy the cafe. . I tried to capture the colourfulness of their snow suits as they popped with colour amongst the pure white snow. . 29.01.2019 #lategram We pencilled in lots of places to see and in the end we decided to check out this golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji) to end our day. It was quite easy to reach from Kyoto Station. Just one bus ride for about 30 mins. My phone battery was dead by then and I left my power bank in the locker at Kyoto Station 🙄🙄. It was almost sunset and not many people/tourist around.
