ExperimentTale Idea: Part 1

So, I’ve been making my own fan Undertale AU for a while now, and with all that’s going on in the world I wanted to share it soon. I’m planning on turning it into an animated series once I get the right software and tools and get enough experience to do so, so I’m not gonna be able to go into all the details about the AU. But I thought I should at least get the idea out here before someone else has a very similar one or something, if that makes sense.

The name is ExperimentTale, kind of a lazy name but it fits.  Before the human and monster war, Gaster and a human woman named Rose were very close friends. They were cute and Gaster was awkward cuz he was crushing, and eventually he asked her out. She said yes and their relationship spiraled even more. Then the war happened, Rose had to pick which side she wanted to stand by since she was a human but loved a monster. She chose to protect monsters and fought by their side, throughout that time her relationship with Gaster strengthened.

The humans on the opposite side were losing, so they found another way to take out monsters. They would take monsters prisoner, do some very unpleasant things to them, and create hybrids. The monster was killed after the process and the hybrid was raised in a strict violent atmosphere, the hybrids were taught to hate monsters and were sent out to do their damage. That made the humans start winning, but it also got risky because the hybrids were pretty unstable in that type of environment. The hybrids started attacking the humans keeping them, which did a bit of damage. The humans decided that they were already winning and had no use for the hybrids anymore, so they exterminated them.

After a while longer, the humans won. Like the game Undertale explained, the humans sealed monsters underground with a magical spell. Rose stayed with them. Gaster protested a bit because he didn’t want Rose suffering more, but she insisted.

More time passed, Gaster and Rose find a home, Asgore gives Gaster his title as Royal Scientist, and at some point it is discovered that Rose is pregnant. Asgore’s furious because he’s king and has seen what hybrids did, Toriel is worried but doesn’t want anyone to get hurt just yet, and Gaster is protective as hell towards Rose and the baby. After some debate, they’re allowed to keep the kid.

They name her Ava.

Is patches kept secret from the other inhabitants of the underground and can Papyrus truly 'save' or help Patches? ~Shy anon

Patches isn’t kept secret but since he’s so fragile, he never goes outside. Also he can’t go outside anyway because of his aversion to pants. you have to wear pants to go out in the snow.

And as much as he wants to, there’s actually nothing Papyrus can do for Patches :( Gaster tries to tell him that, but Papy just won’t give up because he feels so terrible about what happened.

Decently sure I’m having a panic attack or something cuz it feels like the world is ending, so I’m finally deciding to share my characters and story at least somewhere. Since I’m kinda afraid I won’t get the chance to. That chaos bean up there is Hate, and she’s exactly what her name is. She was created on accident by doctor Gaster when he was experimenting on his daughter, Ava, another of my OCs. The backstory is difficult to explain in one post but I promise it’s not a super typical AU idea, I hope it isn’t anyway. That probably sounds bad, sorry. But I’ll make a post later explaining the story. For now, just enjoy the chaos gremlin.

Wintersoul Report Day 8

*~Hey there campers! Wander here, braving horrors and fire to bring you the news! No, seriously. There was a change in schedule this day, we decided it would be unwise for the planned host of the gardening event to make an appearance. So our resident spookman Geist [ @archaicgeists] volunteered to set up a blacksmithing session instead. Thanks, tail-slammer! We also had a Scary Story Telling Session hosted by Eimmet himself and a card game available in the Master Cabin as today’s free event.~

*~Don’t worry, we weren’t makin’ weapons or anything. Most of these kids just aren’t skilled enough for that, probably never held a smithing hammer in their life. No, Geist taught us a simpler craft. Metalsmithing he called it, using easier materials to craft useful or simpler stuff. No-legs walked us through it, showing us how to properly heat the metal, how to use the tools and so on. Seems like everyone was getting into it and enjoying themselves. Even Geist was hammering away at some trinket, and offering to make inscriptions on the campers’ pieces. Thanks by the way, Win [ @coldsoulgoodsoul] definitely appreciated the finishing touches you put on her ring. Looked just like the Temgon!~

*~More than a few interesting trinkets passing about. Scan’s [ @undauntedgunner] modern art showing the futility of a creative soul locked in an form unable to properly express itself....or it was just metal he hammered the hell out of willy nilly.  Sasha [ @youwinatball] created a spatula and fork, engraved with his name and ‘Camp Wintersouls’, so memorabilia from a fan! John and Joe [ @fusedfloras] worked together to make some engraved coin necklaces for their friends. Emma [ @persevering-eidetic] made a nice little heart pendant, after some tremendous effort. Try not to wear yourself out too much Em. And Cas [ @six-souls-in-hiding] made a neat dagger necklace, its worn look and imperfections adding to its charm. Seems like most, if not all of these creations were intended to be gifts for friends. Heh, cute. Thanks for stepping up to host the event and teach the kids, Geist! Eheh, and waiting until after we left to plunge your hands into the roaring flames...~

*~Eimmet hosted a Scary Session at a Bonfire on the Floating Islet. Intense heat on a floating chunk of ice is scary enough. Records of the top stories will be at the end of todays report. However I will extend a congratulations to those whose stories were voted as the Spookiest!~

*~Though some campers tried to make one Tale of Terror into reality. Ethan [ @thesixchildren] and Chara [ @experimenttale-au] were reported to have been engaging in cult like activities at Soul Sanctum in an attempt to summon the temmie from Cammy’s story  Instead they summoned the Temmie of Justice by breaking curfew. Colt and her crew quickly disrupted this new cults attempts and chased the miscreants back to their Cabins! ...Feel that I must reiterate. What the hell is wrong with you kids?!~

*~In some decidedly less disturbing and more wholesome news, more time with the dragon! Win [ @coldsoulgoodsoul] and I were the only people to try out that ‘Undercards’ game. It was simple enough, easy to pick up, so the kid and I played a few rounds. We umm, really didn’t have the heart to actively try to beat each other. Crybaby was getting upset by the end of the second round, so she was brought to the Temgon to cheer her up, and show off her new ring. Mission successful. Those two were bouncing around and having fun in no time at all, Until the kid got tired of course. Then the furworm hauled her straight to bed, carrying Winter to the Green Cabin roof so she could rest with them for the night. Not quite where she’s supposed to be after curfew but it was too cute. We’ll let it slide this time.~
