It’s “Share Feelings” Time...

30 Mei 2020 - Tragedi lalu lintas, hikmah tanpa batas

Singkat cerita, saat itu saya mengendarai motor sendiri. Perjalanan pulang dari rumah teman.

Karena melanggar kewajiban berkendara yang utama, yaitu ‘Fokus’ (mohon jangan ditiru). Terjadilah tragedi dimana pengendara motor terserempet mobil hitam tak berdosa dari arah yang sama (terserempet dari belakang).

.

So what the next? Badan seakan terbanting, dan parahnya lagi jatuhnya ke arah kanan.

Apa yang terbesit? “Ya Allah semoga tidak ada kendaraan yang melaju setelah mobil ini”

Sampai pada akhirnya, sekerumunan orang datang membantu saya. Menuntun motor -yang kaca spion kanannya sudah hilang- ke tepian.

.

Bertubi pertanyaan, “Gimana mbak?” terngiang. Pun beribu peringatan, “Makannya mbak kalau naik motor hati-hati”. Sedikit sesak, tapi biarlah.

.

Seorang bapak dengan pakaian rapi datang bersama anaknya menghampiri saya, menanyakan hal yang sama. Dengan mengabaikan hati, saya menjawab, “Alhamdulillah, saya baik-baik saja, memang saya yang salah”. Beliau mengucap hamdalah dan berlalu...

Tak lama setelah itu, saya meyakinkan diri bahwa masih kuat untuk melanjutkan perjalanan.

Baru beberapa meter jalan, saya melihat bapak bersama anaknya tadi mengecek keadaan mobil hitamnya.

Yassalaam! Saya tidak tahu bahwa tadi adalah pemilik mobil.

Bowling Experience - Family Bonding Time

Venue: Bowling Alley

The second time in my life playing bowling. Overall, it was not that bad. haha

We were grouped up according to our mentors and mentees list. My mentors are actually a very very good player and they even get awarded with prizes for their accomplishments. I feel lucky to be a member of their team. Since this was a battle between several groups, I actually had fun learning other groups’ unique technique of throwing the balls to find which is the best for me in order to obtain at least one strike. Luckily, I ended up getting 3 strikes. Thanks to my strategy of learning from others.

In conclusion, I think it is important for us to follow people with the best experience because they know it better. Seeking helps from professionals somehow pushes us to be successful like them. Therefore, I need to be brave to approach these people and ask for tips to do self-improvement and self-reflection.
